We are in need of a MIRACLE now, we look around and see not many to help Raji.. We wanted the beginning of the opener level to be so iconic, dare we say, mouthwateringly good! And due to the constraits of the camera angle, we had to devise a system to make a generic “tile” based game look unique and deserving of such an environment. This has been an absolute joy to work on and we hope with your continued support we’ll be able to complete what we set out to do twelve months ago.

From silhouettes to the final in-game textured model of Tezabsura. When creating in-game assets, sometimes you have no choice but to make a little compromise here and there. But on this occasion Ian was able to stay true to the concept art and want to do it justice. 

Tezabsura took three weeks to make once the concept art was completed, this includes the creating of the maps.

The mighty Trishul, is the main weapon we’re using throughout out demo. There are numerous power stones which when power orbs are invested with increase their brightness. From a texturing stand point, the Trishul was very quick to paint, taking only a couple of hours.

Here’s a taster of what has come and what will come… The first is Rangda, (Demon Queen, one of the main characters from Balinese mythology), she’s going to be a delight to make and we have some cool VFX ideas for the smoke trail and her hair. We reckon our tech artist is going to have a heart attack when we get into the nitty gritty!!! ;)
