solstice

being moon bound during a summer solstice was never fun, but vincent was having an especially bad time. luckily for him, david was here to help.

vincent may be a tad out of character, so sorry in advance if he sounds a little weird!

solstices were never easy. especially summer solstices when you were moon bound. david and vincent knew this all too well. they had both gone through many solstices before they started dating, and this wasnt even their first together. that didnt change how much they sucked though.

vincent was having an especially bad time. if you asked him today, he would absolutely say this was the worst hes felt in his entire (undead) life. he was hot, he had a headache, his whole body was achy, and worst of all he was so hungry that he thought he was going to die of starvation at any moment.

perhaps he was being a tad dramatic, but he certainly didnt feel good.

he thought he was alone in his home. he was simply going to suffer in his nice plush bed, withering away to nothing and perhaps quietly crying to himself until sleep overtook him. that wasnt the case however. in his moment of pain and discomfort vincent must have missed the door to his home opening and a familiar wolf entering.

vincents lack of awareness bit him in the back when his bedroom door opened, making the vampire jolt upright with all of the strength he could muster. even in his current state there is no way he was going to go down without a fight. luckily for him there was nothing to worry about and the “intruder” was a much more welcome guest than he initially thought.

“david?” vincent said quietly.

“jumpy much?”

david gave a strained smile, clearly dealing with his own issues this solstice. the smile was appreciated though and vincent slowly started to calm down from his previous state of panic.

“what are you doing here?” vincent asked.

david shrugged, kicking off his shoes and coming to sit next to vincent.

“thought we could both use the company on a day like this.”

at the response, vincent flopped back against his bed, looking anywhere but david. his previous discomfort was coming back quickly, but now with david here there was an added layer. dont get me wrong, vincent was happy for the company, misery loves company and all that. but his hunger was starting to overtake him, and even though his senes were not the best on the solstice david was starting to smell like quite the treat.

out of the corner of his eye, vincent saw david raise an eyebrow at him. vincent huffed and raised his own eyebrow at david.

“what?”

“are you alright?” david asked as gently as he could muster.

vincent made a displeased noise. “as alright as i can be given the circumstances.”

“well obviously. but it seems like its more than that.”

vincent sighed. david was bound to know one way or the other. he might as well come clean now. his very tasty partner could possibly help even. one way or the other.

“the solstice is kicking my ass… and… i havent eaten in a while so-“

vincents words were cut off with a displeased noise from david.

“take a bite.”

he spoke quickly, adjusting his shirt so vincent could get a better angle of his neck.

“you dont have to do this, i know the solstice has gotta be kicking your ass too.”

“it wasnt a request.”

with a very brief pause for vincent to contemplate this decision, he say up and buried his face into the werewolf’s neck.

“thank you david.”

with his quiet mumble vincent sunk his fangs into the other mans neck. the taste of his blood was enough to make the vampire go mad and for once on this horrible day a feeling of comfort washed over him.

davids hands came to rest on vincents back comfortingly. weather it was for his or vincents comfort was unknown but they stayed like that, holding each other for much longer than was necessary for vincent to feed.

more than just getting a drink from his lover, the comfort of being in each others arms was enough to make this day just a bit better.

for the little amount of downtime you get with everything going on right now, you and your new found lovers found your own ways to make your time spent together peaceful and relaxing.

no one knows this fandom, but idc. this one goes out to @lovelyossein !!

tilaarin was a peaceful place. even if you hadn't been here for long, and even if you wouldn’t get the luxury to stay here much longer, the peace it brought you for now was refreshing. although your company may be helping your sense of peace.

it was odd. the two men you found yourself lying besides, odd how the universe brought them to you, odd how you ended up together, and especially odd how they were both laying here peacefully. neither of the men were asleep, you could tell that much, but their eyes were closed and both of them had a content smile on their lips, no matter how small it may appear.

damon lay to your right. he was on his side facing you and vexx. his arm draped lazily over your stomach, his fingers occasionally tracing circles into your revealed skin.

vexx lay to your left. he was also on his side facing the two of you and if it was anyone else, you’d feel trapped due to them both closing you in like this. vexx’s arm wasn’t draped across you like damons, but he did rest his hand on your thigh, giving it a squeeze when he must have sensed you looking at him.

looking away from both your companions briefly, you gazed to the ceiling and let out a content sigh.

“something the matter, your highness?”

damons words made you roll your eyes and turn to him raising an eyebrow. he wasn't being genuine, it was obvious in his voice even if you didn't know him so well. he lived to tease you, and it seemed even in your most peaceful moments together he couldn't help but tease you.

you took a moment to contemplate your response. you could throw just as much snark back at him but in that moment, you didn’t want to. you decided to be honest, even if honestly wasn’t truly what he was looking for.

“no, nothing's wrong,” you turned your head to look at him, seeing that his eyes were now open and already looking at you.

“i’m just happy.”

damon huffed and damon smiled at you softly. one of those soft and content smiles that he only seemed to do at you. it was a look you could find yourself getting used to, if he was willing to let you get used to it.

“and would that be because of us, your highness?”

this time vexx spoke. his voice coming out closer to your ear than you expected. he clearly took you being distracted by damon as a way to move unnoticed. his face was now nuzzled into the side of your head and his hand was slowly creeping closer to where damons were on your waist.

you pulled your bottom lip between your teeth, trying to stop yourself from grinning as wide as you wanted to. the look on damons face told you that he could tell which means vexx could also tell, even if he couldn’t see your face.

“yes. all thanks to you two.”

vexx placed a soft kiss to the side of your head, one you could feel the smile through. before you could turn to look at him damon spoke.

“i don’t think he deserves any of the credit. it's really me that makes you happy, isn’t it?”

vexx’s grip on you tightened at damons words and you were surprised he didn’t throw damons hand off of you in defense.

“you’re saying i don’t make you happy too, stab happy?” vexx said smugly.

damon raised his eyebrow at the red head, even if vexx wasn’t looking at him. “of course not, what would make you think i’m happy at all?”

vexx finally looked up at damon, giving you a chance to turn slightly and see his face. he had a wicked grin; one you knew meant he was up to something. glancing quickly between the two men, you decided to let them deal with each other and not get involved in whatever this was.

“really? because before our favorite royal woke up, you were telling me a different story.” vexx said grinning at damon.

turning your gaze to damon, you only saw that his smile had grown wider.

“words are cheap. besides, where is your proof, carrot top?”

“the look you’re giving me is more than enough proof. wouldn’t you say so?”

vexx directed his question at you, making you get a good look at damon. he raised his eyebrow at you, keeping a straight face. but even though you weren’t as good at reading people as he or alisa was, you could see this look in his eyes. it told you everything you needed to know.

“vexx has a point. that look gives it all away.” you said nodding your head mater-of-factly.

damons face softened and his mouth morphed back into that relaxed smile again. he couldn’t deny it anymore, he was happy.

before anyone could celebrate the victory, damon leaned in and gave you a tender kiss. his lips were rough, but that was something you had already grown used to. it was a welcome feeling now. he held your face so gently, almost as if he couldn’t believe you were real. the kiss lasted only a few moments, but it was well worth it.

then, after breaking apart from you he turned to vexx. he reached over at patted vexx’s cheek. it wasn’t nearly as gentle as when he held your face, but there was fondness there, nonetheless.

it was nice being surrounded by the two you loved the most. as you settled back into quiet damon and vexx wrapped their arms around you once more, this time holding onto each other in the process.

yeah, you were happy, and you had hope that you all would share many more moments like this in the future.

he never thought he could really and truly trust someone but then you came around and wormed your way into his heart. he trusts you more than anyone else. you didnt realize how much kyoya trusted you until the first time he confided in you.

maybe it wasn’t actually something that big. but one time, when it was just you and kyoya sitting alone he told you something personal. something that was bothering him. something you knew he wouldn’t tell anyone else willingly. thats when you realized just how much he trusted you.

kyoya probably didnt even realize it fully yet, he didnt know how much he actually cared for you. it was just something he wanted to say and he felt comfortable enough around you to say it. if you made a big deal about it he’d deny that it meant anything, but thats the only way hed even realize how he feels about you. if you didn’t mention it though it would take much much longer for him to come to terms with his feelings.

he trusted you enough to confide in you though. even if he didn’t realize it, you did and that was something special.

You and Simon are that couple who have a lot of inside jokes. You'll text him, "Send dick," and it's a picture of someone who gets on his nerves (it varies and Graves and Johnny have been featured a couple times). He'll text you, "Send tits," and it's different pictures of the bird.

spencer loves soft intimacy with you. simple things like holding hands or you nuzzling your face against his makes him weak. the gentleness that you show him makes him feel so special. even just looking at him with your softest gaze makes it impossible for him to keep a smile off of his face.

he treasures every moment with you dont get me wrong, but spencer holds the intimate moments so near to his heart. theres something special about all the softness you share when there is so much chaos going on.

toaster isnt the most jewelry wearing person. however, that doesnt mean they wouldnt appreciate your thoughtfulness, and because its coming from you he would absolutely wear it. its odd that toaster isnt much of a jewelry person, it certainly looks good on them. you clearly know that, but this little bracelet was more about the feelings behind it than adding to his wardrobe.

a beautiful, hand made threaded bracelet looks perfect adorning toasters wrist, but the thing thats most important to them is that now whenever youre apart, you both have something to remind yourselves of each other. they love having a reminder of you when youre apart. and they also admire your craftsmanship, the bracelet is beautifully crafted.

thinking about protective derek

derek who cant stand the thought of you getting hurt. every time youre in a situation that’s dangerous or even a situation that just makes you uncomfortable he’ll get extremely worried and protective of you. he gets so worked up that he regularly looses his composure. its odd for derek. he is known for being a little rough when needed sure, but he does not loose his composure. but when youre in danger he will do anything he has to to protect you.

he’ll yell, and punch, and generally cause a bunch of problems if it means you are out of harms way. its not common, but on more than one occasion derek has gotten into a physical altercation with someone over you. and those were on the more mild side of things.

dont get me started on if you actually got hurt. derek would worry himself into an early grave if something actually happened to you. he’d blame himself somehow, and that would make him so frustrated and angry that it would just boil over onto everyone around you. even if it wasnt them that hurt you. and if he got his hands on the person that hurt you derek would definitely not hold back.

derek is the protective type, no matter how small or how big derek will absolutely make sure nothing can get to you.

letting spencer infodump.

its hard to understand spencer sometimes, not just because he talks too fast when he’s excited but that certainly doesnt help. what makes it so difficult is most of the time you dont even know the first thing about what hes talking about. spencer is good at explaining things, yes, but he also jumps around sometimes. that makes it hard to follow when you dont have as much knowledge on the subject as him.

that has never stopped you from listening though and spencer will always be greatful for that. you give him your full attention when he rambles and infodumps. its such focused attention that spencer sometimes gets caught of guard with how much you’re actually paying attention to him.

he loves having your attention though even when it does flustered him. and who knows maybe youll learn something new in the process.

thinking about kissing asmodeus out of the blue.

could be on his forehead, his cheek, or even his lips, but wherever it is you managed to catch him of guard. hes taken aback at first, started by your affection. that is until he can process what youve done of course.

asmo’s face will immediately contort into something so sly, a face im sure youre familiar with. he’ll smile big, and immediately jump into a speech about how you were obviously so desperate to kiss him that you just couldn’t help yourself. obviously you just couldn’t wait another second.

and to an extent, asmo is correct. you needed to kiss him just that moment. but the reason is much more personal than his teasing would let on.

Spencer Reid wakes you up with kisses as often as he can.

His slightly chapped, perfectly pink lips drag across the heated skin of your neck. The kisses are sickeningly sweet and so impressively gentle that goosebumps spread themselves along your arms and butterflies erupt in your stomach making your eyes flutter softly as you start to wake yourself.

You grumble sleepily when his hands move to wrap around your waist tighter. Your hands grab and lace your fingers with his.

When your eyes finally will themselves open, they crack only slightly, your eyesight blurs, and you're pretty sure your eyes are crusted in the corners. Spencer's cheek smooshes roughly against yours and you groan in pretend annoyance. He smooshes harder in response.

"Spencer..." You groan again.

He presses a wet kiss to your cheek and you try to fight against the smile that began growing on your face.

"I just love you," Spencer whispers to you, you feel his breath against the shell of your ear.

"What time is it?" You ignore him on purpose.

He squeezes the skin of your waist, "Say it back... please."

You want to hold out just to tease him but the way his voice sounds when he pleads with you makes you give in instantly.

"I love you, Spence"

You feel a grin grow against your cheek, he snuggles closer to you almost like no matter what he can't be close enough like he needs to be attached to you completely, apart of you.

"Love you," He sighs, gives you one more sloppy kiss, and let's you fall back asleep once and for all.

they refuse to go to bed unless they hear from you and get a goodnight and an i love you. weather that be in person or over the phone or even through messages, they will not go to bed unless they hear from you. which has led to many situations where they will bother you and even wake you up because they need to hear you say i love you before going to bed.
