Mug. You wanna know why?
So funny story. When I was about eleven or twelve, I had Christmas with my cousin she must have been like eight at the time, I think. I had gotten a huge princess castle with all the princesses. (Yes I made the princesses kiss to piss of the people who gifted me it)
Well, I loved Ariel because she was the only red head other than Merida, and I didn't care for Merida. (Even though I have more in commom with Merida than I do Ariel).
Well, my cousin wanted to play with her too, and I told her she could play with all the dolls and the castle I want Ariel.
She didn't like that either.
So she grabbed my dad's mug and busted my nose.
I think my nose is still crooked, but I forget her.

So I have an old TBP (The Black Phone) fanfic. It's called "What do you mean its not normal?"
It's about if Finney had gone kidnapped away younger, and Albert(the grabber) tricked him into believing he was Finney’s adoptive dad.
I had to rewrite it because like the first 15 chapters were pretty good, I think, but the pacing after that was terrible. So I kept the first 11 chapters and am currently rewriting the rest.

So I know I keep making comics that lead no where BUT I'm making my own original comic on Tapas. I already have the script for about 27ish episodes and the actual comic for episode one is done. I'll share the link when I actually start posting. I heard it's best start post after you have a couple of episodes done so that you can post consistently.
Spoiler, it's not my trash and treasure idea I've been spewing about.

Who wants to proofread an early draft of Trash and Treasure?
Edit: I did some research and realized that I need to clarify that I'm broke. I don't have money. If you take up this offer I'm sorry but I can't pay. This is my first time asking for a proofreader, so sorry.

I wrote a fun chapter playing around with the characters from my concept line, Trash and Treasure.
Knots of Frustration
The quiet hum of the nearly empty classroom was interrupted by Reya’s loud declaration:
“Crochet? Pfft, how hard can it be?”
Sage stiffened slightly, the crochet hook poised delicately in her hand. She looked up from her nearly finished green scarf, her expression a mix of skepticism and irritation.
“It’s not hard if you pay attention,” she replied, her Southern drawl coming out just a bit sharper than usual.
“I always pay attention,” Reya said confidently, flopping into the chair next to her. “Show me how to make, I dunno, a hat. Hats are cool.”
Milo, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed, smirked. “This should be fun.”
Sage sighed. “Fine. But you gotta promise to listen.” She rummaged through her bag and handed Reya a ball of light blue yarn and a spare hook.
Lilith, seated nearby and sketching in her notebook, glanced up. “I’d love to learn, too,” she said, setting her pencil down. “I’ve always wanted to make a cute hat for myself.”
Sage’s eyes darted between Lilith and Reya. Her hands tightened on her crochet hook. “Sure,” she muttered. “Why not?”
---
Sage started by demonstrating the chain stitch. Her hands moved fluidly, creating a neat row of loops.
“See? Simple,” she said, holding it up.
Reya stared at the chain with exaggerated concentration. “Got it. Chain stitch. Easy.” She gripped her hook like it was a weapon, jabbing it into the yarn.
“No, no, gently,” Sage corrected, wincing.
Reya loosened her grip, but somehow the yarn still ended up in a tangled knot. “Uh… is this supposed to happen?”
“No,” Sage said flatly, taking the mess from Reya’s hands. “You’re not even holding the yarn right. Here.” She positioned Reya’s fingers.
Reya tried again. The knot got bigger.
“This is impossible!” Reya declared, throwing her hands up. The hook flew out of her hand and narrowly missed Milo, who ducked with a laugh.
“You’ve been at it for two minutes,” Sage snapped, her frustration bubbling over. “You can’t expect to be good right away.”
---
Meanwhile, Lilith had quietly started her project. “I think I’m getting the hang of this,” she said, holding up what looked like a very tiny hat.
Sage’s jaw dropped. “What is that?”
“A hat,” Lilith said proudly.
“It’s the size of a teacup!” Sage exclaimed.
“Oh,” Lilith said, tilting her head. “I might have… miscounted the stitches?”
Milo chuckled, walking over to inspect Lilith’s creation. “That’s not a hat. That’s a hat for a doll. Maybe a rat doll.”
“Don’t encourage her!” Sage groaned.
---
Reya was now thoroughly entangled in her yarn. “Help! I think I’m turning into a cocoon!”
Sage buried her face in her hands. “How did you even do that?”
Reya grinned sheepishly. “Talent.”
Milo took a seat across from them, casually working on a small steel sculpture. “Y’know, Sage, maybe you’re just not a good teacher.” The loud squeak of metal punctuates his sentence as he bends the metal with pliers.
Sage glared at him. “Excuse me?”
“You’re so focused on doing it perfectly that you’re forgetting they’re beginners,” Milo said with a shrug. “Maybe you should let them mess up a little.”
“That’s what she’s been doing!” Sage shot back, gesturing at Reya, who was now attempting to untangle herself with her feet like she was in a cartoon.
“Okay, but hear me out,” Milo said, smirking. “What if you just give up on teaching them and let them crochet chaos?”
Reya brightened. “I like that plan!”
Lilith looked thoughtful. “Chaos crochet… that could be an art movement.”
“No!” Sage cried. “Crochet is supposed to be neat and organized! The only way you can free-hand a pattern is if you already know how to crochet!”
---
After what felt like an eternity, Reya managed to make a wobbly chain stitch.
“Look! I did it!” she said, holding it up like a trophy.
“It’s… something,” Sage said begrudgingly.
Lilith, meanwhile, had adjusted her pattern and made a slightly larger hat. It still wouldn’t fit a human head, but at least it was progress.
“Thanks for teaching us, Sage,” Lilith said with a warm smile.
Sage softened a little. “You’re welcome. Just… maybe don’t call me for help next time.”
Reya grinned. “Oh, don’t worry. I’ve got this now.” She said, not realizing that each time she pulled her project, it unraveled little until she was just holding yarn. Reya looked down in shock at the unraveled yarn in her hands.
Milo laughed so hard he almost fell out of his chair.
Sage sighed, but despite her irritation, she couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at her lips. Maybe, just maybe, this wasn’t so bad after all.

I drew Sage from my Doll Line concept, Trash and Treasure .

I spent all day writing the story for my doll line, which i'm calling "trash and treasure." Obviously, based on the phrase: One man's trash, another man's treasure.
I made 4 distinct characters fleshed out their personalities and dynamics with each other. Fleshed out the setting. Organize most of the information. I even started writing the first chapter of an AO3 for it.
I might even write a comic, but I tend to lose inspiration when I start writing comics. So, I might just write stories and add pictures to it. Or write out the whole story and draw comics of the most important parts.

Here are the characters (without spoliers)
1. Lilith King: A gothic painter with a calm, motherly attitude. She’s tall with an hourglass figure and has a color palette of pinks and dark purples. Lilith embraces a gothic style in both her fashion and art. She explores the beauty and balance of life and death in her art. She has a nurturing side and cares deeply about her friends.
2. Sage McScurry: A shy, creative fiber artist who specializes in crochet. She has a color palette of green and pink and is often seen in cozy, handmade clothes. Sage’s gentle nature is reflected in her work, and although she’s reserved and sometimes accidentally rude, she has a big heart for those she gets close with.
3. Reya Nibble: A trans woman street artist, specializing in graffiti with a focus on recycling. Her vibrant, tomboyish look fits her strong, outspoken personality. Reya has a love for pushing boundaries and speaking her mind, especially on issues close to her heart. She is very extraverted and out there and loves attention.
4. Milo Rattus: A street-style sculptor. His fashion is eco-friendly, mostly featuring grays, blacks, and metallic silver accents. Milo is tough on the outside but softens around his close friends, especially when helping or protecting those he cares about.
Somewhere in the middle of Tennessee lays a prestigious art college called Renew University of Arts. This college is more unique than others, focusing on renewable sources of creation and the importance of recycling.
"Trash and Treasure" follows a diverse group of anthropomorphic rats at an eco-friendly art school, each navigating their own personal struggles while forming deep connections through their shared love of art. The story explores themes of growth, healing, and the complexities of friendship, identity, and emotional vulnerability. The series explores how the characters' personal journeys unfold through their friendships and artistic expressions, with each character learning to face their past, build emotional resilience, and form stronger bonds with each other.
Again, if you have any ideas on any of these characters, such as suggestions or opinions, please comment below. ESPECIALLY on the character designs.

So for a long time I've thought about making a rat fashion doll. Like before trashion alley was discovered. Which is gonna sound like lying because trashion alley got big.
Basically, when I was maybe in middle school early high school, I was thinking to myself that there are so many animal themed fashion dolls but not "unappealing" animals. They have dogs, cats, and horses. So I thought, why not have a rat themed fashion doll line.
I saw it wouldn't work out, but the existence of trashion alley made me think I could make this. So recently I revised this is the idea And came up with 3 character designs.
(Ignore the labels next to them. They will most likely be changed in the future.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One of these is a very early draft of overall character designs. The second is an expression sheet of my favorite character. She just like me for real.
I wanted to have a similar story line to rainbow high (before the reboot), where they are all students at an art academy. The twist being they all used recycled goods.
For example, my favorite character (I don't have a name yet for her) This will most likely be a fiber artist working with crochet. I could see her buying up thrift shirts and cutting them into make-shift yarn or buying old knitwear and recycling the yarn.
And since I can't make their clothes out of trash, again because I don't want to be compared to trashion alley, I decided to use fashion styles that are heavily reliant on thrifting and recycling.
I'm having trouble with names for the characters and series. I'm thinking of naming this series "Trash and Treasure" or TnT. From the phrase "one man's trash, another man's treasure."
I don't know how I would make these dolls but so far, they're just concepts. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for things like names or how I can make this a doll line, please comment below. I'd love to hear people's opinions and suggestions.

What is your opinion on Therians?
-therian anon :3
Honestly, my view is positive leaning. If that's what you're comfortable with and what you believe, then who am I to tell you no. Plus i'm not gonna lie I think the masks and tails are really fucking cool and creative.
I know that therians and furries are different, but I also wanted to add I feel the same way about furries. The costumes are really cool and creative, though I don't know how yall breathe in them. And it's all good fun, right?
I do advise you to be a little careful, though. I know some people can be really mean about these sort of things. And I don't want someone to do something bad to you because of it. Whether that be being rude or more extreme things.
