Welcome to Superheroes' Civilians Tournament

A place to appreciate the civilians in a superhero's life. I also run @girlygirltournament so I will wait until that is closer to ending before starting this one. Submissions will be open for a month or so.

Rules: 

-The character has to be part of some sort of superhero media but not a superhero themselves. Magical Girl anime counts. (If there are people fighting crime and having a secret identity then it's a safe bet it counts)

-Can have powers but can't have a secret identity/do crime-fighting. (Ex. Inko Midoriya can pull objects towards her but she isn't a hero)

-It's fine if they had one appearance with a secret identity as long as it's not recurring or what the character is known for. (Ex Lois Lane has been Superwoman before but she is not known for it)

-Only one submission per character. Submit as many different characters as you want.

-Treat everyone with respect and be civil, it's only a Tumblr tournament.

icon, love her <3 gotta appreciate someone who appreciates rachel! most of her design is lifted from the wiki but I decided to make misc parts (earmuffs, collar) blue to match her eyes + added a scar because henchwoman-ing is difficult work and she seemed to have had it rough before joining rachel. speaking of she is smiling at rachel :) she smiles without teeth

Do superVILLAIN civilians count if the villain in question is a protagonist and largely sympathetic?

can I ask for further clarification as to what is considered a superhero media? I know you said fighting crime and a secret identity, but would they still count if it's not like the traditional vigilante-in-a-cape-with-superpowers sort of deal?

and how specific is "secret identity"? like a full double life? does going undercover qualify?

if the civilian helps the hero with their heroing, do they qualify as their civilian? if so, at what point are they also considered a superhero?

is any marvel protagonist just considered a "superhero" by default?

does simply having superpowers make you a superhero?

I won't be super super strict on what would be considered superhero media. Feel free to submit characters and I can accept it or not.

Not every superhero has a secret identity it's just one of the clear ways to see a distinction between their crime-fighting and civilian life. This is a tournament for civilians so there needs to be a reason to call them civilians. For example, The Powerpuff girls don't have a secret identity but they fight crime while Professor Utonium does not which makes him a civilian. I think going undercover can count as a secret identity.

There can be somewhat of a thin line between helping and being a superhero yourself, I will probably do a few preliminary polls for certain characters

I would say that most Marvel characters would be considered superheroes.

Having powers is a pretty good indicator but not necessarily automatic, usually a superhero uses their powers for good and to protect people so someone with a sense of justice. And not all superheroes have powers (for example Batman)

Don't worry you're not bothering me at all! Feel free to submit character the worst I can do is reject it. Someone submitted the Thirsty People Who Are Really Psyched About Pepsi for the Pepsiman comericals and I can't argue with that.
