3 years ago today I hosted a seminar with Ray Williams literally just days after he'd broken the Squat World Record and won the IPF mens 120kg + weight category, and I believe overall best male lifter 💪 . L O C K D O W N T R A I N I N G 😴 . For most of us we're just trying to stay fit, health and sane❗ . I know right now I don't care how much I can lift or how many reps I can do. I just want to be fit and healthy. . The problem I've found is that during lockdown with barely any equipment it's so easy to get stuck in a rut, doing the same exercises over and over... Press Ups...Squats...Burpees... 💤💤💤 Doing the same thing over and over multiple times per week is a good way to pick up little niggles and injuries, which eventually will put you off training. . Every couple of weeks change up your training, even if it's just small adjustments, increasing or decreasing a range of movement. Instead of running 5K, do some hill sprints, instead of doing high intensity workouts, go for a long steady walk. . I miss HEAVY stuff 🏋️‍♂️ . Anyone else sick to death of Bodyweight and Kettlebell exercises? . Trying to keep it somewhat interesting and kill a few birds with one stone. . Turkish Get Up Complex... . Simply add in five presses at each point I did. One rep is one TGU so that is twenty presses, try to do two to three rounds on one side before swapping over. Set a timer for 5 to 10 minutes and work for the duration. .
