WELL THAT WASN’T A voice he had heard in quite some time. Amazing how he could already tell from that alone that this entire interaction was going to be a monumental headache. Without any kind of warning, just like that, she had casually jumped into his arms, squeezing him close in an embrace that left him scowling. ❝Your manners are as at the bottom of the barrel as usual, I see. Apparently time has done nothing to alleviate that.❞ What had she even been doing all this time? Not even he had been able to keep track of her, which in itself, was quite odd for him when he liked to keep information on everyone. A reply to his question never came, unfortunately. The next thing he knew, his cheek was being bitten as if Veronika had suddenly become some feral beast straight out of the woods. As if he would allow her to just bite him without any kind of retaliation! Just for that, he made sure to bite her in return, teeth sinking into her cheek as well. ❝Tch, childish!❞

Neuvi is an ancient dragon, though he's not a V.idyadhara, but a completely different species altogether. His kind lives an extremely long time and ages so slow that one oftentimes wouldn't be able to tell whether one is old aside from themselves. However, they are not immortal, nor desire such as they are aware of the chaos Y.aoshi (inadvertently or not) spreads rather well. As time passes for them, slumbers become deeper and deeper, and upon 'old age', sleep can be so that a dragon may not awake for a hundred years. To resist the madness that can leak into the mind of those with unnaturally long lives, they eventually fall into a slumber so deep that they cannot awaken for anything, soon to slowly return to the element they represent and fade away. Earth returns to earth, water to water, so on and so forth. It is always a sign that one is about to do this when their sleep patterns become increasingly irregular.

As a powerful being known as a Sovereign, Neuvi is akin to something like a Great Lord to his people, although you would be hard pressed to ever see him acknowledge this. Despite dragons from his world very rarely ever having an interest in other species or the state of things outside their home, Neuvi, on the other hand, is curious of the universe's affairs, more so due to the Legion's more...aggressive spread over the centuries. Thus, he has taken to travel, not for pleasure, but for personal reasons. Having seen countless A.stral Express' in the past when they were more abundant, his interest in it still remains.

The angst potential alone haunts me. How long do you think he waited for Ford?? When did it start to sink in that nobody was coming to save him, that nobody would miss him? Would anybody even want him back? How long did it take for his anger, his heartbreak, his grief to turn into acceptance and a belief that this was divine retribution? How long did he work, how many jobs did he take, how much wealth did he accrue, how many brushes with death did he have until he believed he’d “earned” the right to go home and see his brother?? Many such questions. I need to go deeper

Percival was but a boy when he decided that he would become a Knight of Beauty – when that was the path that he would tread in the name of Idrila. The tales he had heard had ensnared him, and with his growing fascination for knighthood, his love for the Aeon only grew all the more. For beauty had many meanings he had come to learn as he grew older. It was something that moved the heart – something that filled it with both awe and joy all in one and made one look upon the world differently than they did before. Despite the fall of Idrila, he does not believe that they are fully gone or that they are gone at all. For beauty still exists, and as long as it does, so too do they. Thus, the Knight travels the cosmos, spreading their teachings through action more so than word through aiding others when the need arises, be it an aching soul on the street, or assisting in a grand battle. Percival will fight in the name of beauty.

i think theres this idea in the general public that the "best" fanfic gets turned into real books like 50 shades of grey. but the truth is that the best fanfic can never be published as an actual book because its intricately woven into the canon material so its inseparable even if you change the names
