My commission from @sweetdream-alys came in and I was so thrilled I had to share with everyone, lol. Hello tags! These are two of my OCs. Both of them are from AUs I often just refer to as anime-AUs because I basically take the games plots and stylize them like an anime from the 90s.

On the left is Kisaki - children's book author in the waking, and Dreamweaver by night! She tends to play to more Shojo stylization being very pink and cute. NiGHTS is her partner (and love interest), working together to protect all of Nightopia from Wizeman and his ilk.

On the right is Sayaka - a normal cafe worker at first blush, but in Wonderworld she becomes the stage master Hero! As Hero, Sayaka works with her partner (Balan, also her eventual love interest as you may have guessed) to rebalance the hearts of the Stage Masters who end up there. She's essentially the "shonen" to Kisaki's "shojo"!

I really could talk about these two for hours, lol;; so I'll quiet down but I absolutely /love/ how this turned out and wanted to share with everyone. Alys is very sweet and easy to work with, and I /love/ how much attention was paid to the little details. Even more impressive was that I really didn't have a good reference for either and this is still exactly how I imagined them both. Thank you again for your hard work!

Maestro of positivity and Maestro of negativity

The maestro of positivity and the maestro of negativity are the two that manage the theater.

Their job is to help the humans that enter through the doors of the theater.

The two of them are counterparts of each other. Comedy and Tragedy.

Only one of them remained during the cataclysm. He was left to protect the wonderworld without the help of his top-hat-wearing partner. But the two of them are reunited during the final fight.

Their names are Balan and Lance

Some of my Cal X Lucy Headcannons

I headcannon that Cal has tried to learn to dance for Lucy's sake, but he can't due to him getting klutzy around her, so he asked for personal help from Balan and Lance...it turns out their solution made him EVEN MORE Klutzy (one of them dressed up as Lucy)

I headcannon that whenever he and Lucy get together, for SOME STRANGE REASON, things get REALLY romantic, like they end up in a area where the birds start singing for them. Or near a bush where a million multicolored Butterflies come to greet them (it's the inhabitants doing)

I headcannon that Cal tends to fumble a little when he thinks of Lucy, he turns into a Klutz around her, and Lucy finds it endearing, she thinks he's falling Head over heels for him

I also headcannon that sometimes Cal tries to write poetry for Lucy and Lucy tries to paint a perfect portrait of Cal for him...the key word is tries. (Cal keeps tossing his ideas in the trash and starting over and Lucy is VERY close to artist block again)

I headcannon that Cal and Lucy often do like to joke about their "future wedding" but of course, the other inhabitants often take this into account (Lucy stated once that if they get married, she wants Cal to wear royal robes...but Balan had made some for him already)

Balan Wonderworld Dreams Series: Lucy Wong

The Art Exhibition, which was once crowded with guests that came to admire the paintings that hung on the wall, was now quiet and dark. The doors were locked up for the night.

Lucy Wong, the artist that was responsible for creating these beautiful portraits, slept really peacefully after a long day of work. The blanket that she used covered her being. She then began to dream.

Lucy hummed as she started to mux certain colors on a palette. Painting an elegant portrait wasn't as easy as one would assume. Especially since it would require mixing certain colors together. And not to mention that people would be waiting for your artwork.

Lucy, when she became a painter, was well aware of these facts. But she wasn't aware of how stressful it was. Yet. She kept on humming as she started to apply color onto the canvas. But before she knew it, she was painting the entire canvas black.

Lucy lifted her paintbrush and gasped. What had she done!? And people were waiting to see her masterpiece! In a panic, Lucy tossed the black canvas aside and took out a blank one. As soon as she placed it onto the easel, she stopped. She had no idea what it was that she wanted to, needed to, paint.

Lucy dropped her palette and paintbrush just as the black canvas and her painting tools suddenly transformed into strange, shadowy creatures with glowing red eyes and chesire grins. Then, they started to chase after the magenta-haired artist.

Lucy shrieked as she turned and ran from the creatures. "What are these creatures!?" She cried. "How did they know where I worked at!? Though, Lucy knew that questioning was pointless. These creatures couldn't talk.

She kept on running for a short while until a light appeared up ahead. Lucy wasn't sure what this light was or why it appeared, but for some reason, she felt…safe. Like she felt really comfortable after a struggle.

The creatures faded away from the light as Lucy jept running towards it, arms spread out.

Then, everything went white.

The Faces Who Made Kerala Proud

Kerala boasts the highest literacy rate in India and as per the latest census it has a projection of 94%. With the sobriquets ‘God’s Own Country’, ‘Land of Coconut’ and ‘Spice Garden of India’, Kerala has always been in the limelight from the perspective of tourism. Thanks to its incredible geographical features. Although being a small state, occupying around 1% of India’s total area, Kerala is always presented as an honorary example for its rich culture, education, ayurveda and other development. Kerala has also given rise to several personalities who have made Kerala and India tremendously proud.

P T Usha - Frequently called ‘Queen of Indian Track and Field’, P. T. Usha was born in Kozhikode, Kerala on 27th June, 1964. Nicknamed the Golden Girl, P T Usha has been associated with Indian Athletes since 1979. She had an illustrious career in athletics and won 33 international medals. In 1984 she was honoured with the Arjuna Award and the Padma Shree Award. The Indian Olympic Association has crowned her with the name ‘Sportsperson of the Century’.

Raja Ravi Varma - Raja Ravi Varma was born on April 29, 1948, in Kilimanoor Palace, Kerala, and is the most celebrated artist in the history of Indian Arts. His artistic talent was exposed at a young age by his uncle who provided him the elementary guidance. He got exposure to various art forms and himself mastered portraits, portrait-based compositions and myths and legends-based theatrical compositions. Ravi Varma received the first prize at the Madras Painting Exhibition in 1873. Shakuntala Composing a Love Letter to King Dushyanta, Damayanti Talking to a Swan and many more are among the famed paintings of Ravi Varma.

Dr. K J Yesudas - A notable Indian classical musician and playback singer, Yesudad was born in Fort Kochi, on January 10, 1940. His musical voice has recorded more than 40,000 songs in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Odiya, Arabic, English, Russian, Latin and many more. Initially, Yesudas was groomed by his own father Augustine Joseph, who was a classical musician and a stage actor, and later he joined the Music Academy. His career started with playback singing in Malayalam and Kollywood movies in the 1960s and in the mid-1970s, he set his foot in the Bollywood industry. Yesudas garnered 7 National Film Awards for the best singer in Indian Cinema.

Arundhati Roy - A renowned novelist and political activist, Arundhati Roy was borned on 24th November, 1961. Although she took birth in Shillong, she shifted to Kerala, to her mother’s maternal house at the age of 2, and completed her schooling there. She has won several awards both for her writing talent and social work. Arundhati Roy began her career by writing the screenplay ‘In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones’ in 1989, which was directed by her husband Pradip Krishen. Her semi-autobiographical novel ‘The God of Small Things’ in 1996 brought her worldwide fame and received the Booker Prize in 1997. 

Vidya Balan - The popular Indian actress was born on 1st January, 1978, in Palakkad, Kerala. She has played the role of a strong female protagonist in several movies. In 2005 she acted in the movie Parineeta and received the Filmfare Award for best female debut. Paa is yet another notable movie of Vidya Balan which brought her the Filmfare best actress award. Vidya Balan was honoured with the Padma Shri award in 2014 for her meticulous contributions to Indian Cinema.

And now I'm making you look at Sayaka. (Yes, she literally just calls Balan "partner" all the time like some kind of cowboy.) (I guess she'd be more likely to use "aibou" but that translates to partner anyway so here we are.)

She gets a bonus big bow because I already had to make concessions on her outfit anyway. :p

Balan wonderworld, secrets of the theater: characters #9 & #10

Emma Cole and Leo Craig

Emma: ever since Balan had been sealed away, Emma temporarily took his place as the masteno of the theater. Sure it's difficult but Emma is at least keeping it together. Balan had left her a manual on how to run the theater and manage the Wonderworld, and she does have Leo and Lance to help her out.

Her very soul is linked to Balan, the maestro of the theater.

Leo: Whilst Emma is trying her best to run the theater without the help of Balan, Leos there to help her in any way he can. Sure they are only human, but with the magic the two have been gifted with, they can both run the theater and help our 8 other heroes with finding their hearts and saving the Wonderworld.

His soul is linked to Lance, the king of the Negati.

Both: the reason why the two of them are here is because, when they were only babies they were left on the doorstep of the theater. Since they were orphans, they were taken in and raised in both the theater and the Wonderworld by Balan and Lance.

The wonderworld is basically their home, and they'll do anything to protect it.

Roots of a Blooming Lotus

(Birthday story for @sundove88)

Mei Hualing was excited beyond compare. Why you may ask? Today is the one day where she is the center of the universe, The day where she is the only thing that matters. Today was her Birthday. "Mei? Lotus? We have a surprise for you." Her mom, June Hualing called from below.

Mei raced out of her room and ran to the kitchen, where a large cake shaped like a Lotus flower sat in the center. "Happy Birthday Mei!" Her family shouted, he younger siblings blowing noise makers and her parents blowing poppers. Her grandparents also held a small envelope in their hands.

"Happy Birthday big sister!!" Her younger siblings Trey and Lexi shouted, tackling their sister in a hug. "Awwwwwwww! Thank you you two!" Mei shouts as she hugs them back. "Happy Birthday my Dear Lotus." Her father, Daniel Hualing says, joining in on the hug. "Thank you dad!" She says, reaching her arms around to hug them as well.

"Mei Mei! Check out the cake you got!" Trey said, pulling her closer to the table "Mrs Bruno brought it over, she said that she and her niece worked all week on it." Lexi said, her eyes glistening at the 3D lotus made out of cake sitting on the table. "Oh Mei? Me and your grandfather got you something special." Mei's Grandmother, Liam Hualing Said.

Mei was about to ask what it was, when a sudden knock came from the door "I'll get it." June said as she headed over to the entry way. That's when the sound of singing caught Mei's attention as she rushed towards the door as well.

"1! 2! 3! 4!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM ALL OF US TO YOU, WE WISH IT WAS OUR BIRTHDAY SO WE CAN PARTY TOO! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAY ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE, WE WISH IT WAS OUR BIRTHDAY SO WE COULD PARTY TOO HEY!!!"

Mei was almost blown back by the force of the voices as she smiled. All of her friends, both from her world, and from Wonderworld were there at her front door to wish her a happy birthday. "Happy Birthday Mei!" Rebecca said, a present in her hands.

"Thanks Rebecca!" Mei said, happy to see her best friend on her Birthday "Happy Birthday Dearest Mei!" A disguised Balan said, but not without him standing on his hands like the show off he was. A disguised Lance rolled his eyes as he handed Mei his own gift: A special lotus that seemed to be made out of jewels.

"Thank you Lance, and you too Balan!" She cheered before she turned back to her grandmother, who smiled at the happy child. "I have a special present for you dear." She says, giving her the envelope. Curious, Mei looked inside and found 6 tickets to "Shanghai?!" She shouts. "I figured that it's time for you to visit China." Liam said. Mei enveloped her grandmother in a big hug, a smile overtaking her face.

"Oh thank you thank you thank you!!" She cheered, jumping with joy. The inhabitants smiled as Balan used his magic to make fireworks burst in the sky. The rest of the day was filled with magic and wonder as Mei's birthday became a full blown party. Mei's gifts from the other inhabitants were incredible as well, from Cal giving her a custom chess board filled with Lotus flowers and Negati, to Lucy's portrait of her fighting against Beast Lance

The next week flew by as the Hualings were preparing to leave for their trip. When the day came, everyone from Wonderworld, the inhabitants, and the Wonder Stars came to give a fond farewell to Mei as she boarded the plane "Have fun Mei!" Aria says giving her a thumbs up "See lots of sights!" Rebecca adds before Kaylo tackles her in a hug "Send lots of pictures!" She shouts, helping her back up.

Mei waved one last goodbye to her friends before it was time to board the plane. The flight to Shanghai lasted all night, but by the time that Mei had landed, she and her family had awoken to the to the sights and sounds of China. Mei gave a smile as she finally arrived in China, so much to see! So much to do!

A few days later, in Timeville, Rebecca received a letter from Mei. She brought it over to the Inhabitants, Maestro, and Wonder Stars and she read the letter aloud for them to hear:

To everyone back in Timeville,

Hey Guys! How are you? And how are things in back Home? Me and my family are having a great time in Shanghai! So far we have seen lots of places out here, and learned a lot of history! My favorite places out there are The Shanghai Museum, and the Jade Temple. Trey and Lexi really enjoy the aquarium, and this cool interactive fun house.

I miss you all, but I'm gonna bring back something special! Everything here is so cool! Best Birthday present EVER!

The group smiled as Rebecca finished the letter. Truly a present befitting their Blooming Lotus.

My OC Sarah West

I've decided that my OC Sarah West is an Inhabitant, so here are some facts about what would happen in her Chapter.

Her chapter title is called The Princess Who Is Afraid To Become Queen. The outside of it would have a stained-glass window with the number 16 on it. It would have a lavender background with a gigantic replica of Sarah's tiara in front of it.

The inside of the Chapter takes place in a kingdom set in medieval times mostly colored in shades of purples and whites. There are small farms here and there but most of stage will consist of some houses and a huge palace.

You can actually go inside the houses to find some collectibles, the first two costumes, and also the six lock pieces needed to open the palace's gates.

Inside the palace there are four floors, the first consisting of a bunch of smaller Negati you would need to fight until the timer runs out. The second floor is like a rest stop that lets you find the other two costumes and allows you to look at some stained-glass portraits of Sarah's mother growing up into the person she had become. The third floor has a huge Negati mini boss that you need to defeat. Once the battle is done, you can see some stained-glass portraits of Lance becoming the Negati King. The fourth floor is where the Heartree is and when the Chapter ends with the Nega Boss fight.

Sarah's illusions will either say, "Welcome!", giggle, or hum.

Her Nega Boss is named Tyrannica, which represents the tyrannical rule her mother had when she was a child and Sarah's fears that she may end up becoming or even be worse than she was if she became Queen.

She is consisted of Lovely Princess, Prince Charm, Diamond Dragon, and Marching Soldier.

In the novel, Sarah is sometimes seen taking her tiara off and holding it in one of her hands like it is a large ring.

After she is brought back to normal, Sarah wakes up in her bedroom the week after her mother's funeral. She looks up and sees her father with a look of relief. When she asks what happened to her, the king of Stelux explains that Sarah had fallen into a coma due to the sudden stress she gained when she realized she was the only heir left. Sarah apologizes and asks if anything has happened while she was unconscious. Her father explains with a smile that the kingdom had found a mine that had a surplus of amethysts, and it was no longer poor. Sarah smiles as she knows that before her mother passed, she ended up making Stelux go broke with her unsatiable greed for gold. Sarah then tells her father that she is afraid of becoming just like her. Her father pats her head as he says with confidence that Sarah is better than her mother ever was. Sarah smiles and shakily gets out of her bed. She hugs her father and he returns the embrace. She looks past him and sees Balan. He waves at her and says,

"Be honest with your heart."

Sarah nods as she lets go of her father. She then asks for a favor as the screen fades to black.
