uhm i do not remember if it was like explicitly said or not but benny, ethan, rory, and reader are childhood friends.

you were just walking through the halls with your friends, you three girls were just giggling and laughing with each other like always as people stared. it was no secret you guys were popular. though you didn't know why and how you had gotten popular. i mean you're looks were okay, you had some bad mood swings with random people sometimes, and you're friends with weird people?

well you were wrong. you are not ugly or even just okay looking to anyone else. in everyone else's eyes you were gorgeous. yet, it was february 4th and you still had no valentine?! ughhhhh.

minutes passed by and those minutes turned to hours. hours he had spent thinking about how you're just a platonic valentine and he shouldn't get himself excited. but he was [reader's first and last name insert] valentine! how can he not get himself excited about that?!

you've gone on with your day. thinking about it some, every time you do though your cheeks flush and your friends know exactly who you're thinking about immediately. Rory. you've had a crush on him since the first day you met him... so like for a while now. you two are childhood bestfriends. sure, you met Ethan and Benny first but you met Rory and you got butterflies immediately. he piqued your interest already at 8 years old.

and you've had a crush on him since. you tell this to your super duper close (girl) friends who you know wouldn't tell them one night to spite you.

Benny and Ethan don't know, simply because you just don't trust them not to make fun of you or to not tell them.

but of course Rory assumes that you just wanted him as a friend in a completely platonic way even though he felt the same about you! he's had a crush since the 2nd minute you met, he was confused the 1st minute...

sure, i mean, he's had girlfriends since but if you asked him out while he was with them he would've dumped them for you and said yes immediately.

but. he thought he was completely friendzoned. finally the dismissal bell rings from school and shockingly enough there's been talk going around the school about you and Rory! people come up to you and ask you about it and you just smile and confirm the rumours. why should you be embarrassed of the truth?

you find Rory and tell him, he embarrassedly admits he knows. he admits someone was picking on him and then he bragged that he was your date. thats why? oh well. it was to get some assholes to leave him alone, that's fine!

you brush it off, "Rory, it's fine. i don't care."

he tilts his head, slightly confused why you don't care. but whatever. you're not mad so a win is a win for him i guess. he shrugs and you guys go to talking about whatever. you two made plans to hang out all day.

the plan was to simply go to the park and you two will pick up fast food or something like that together! not that much different than your guys's normal hangouts. fast food and the park is about how it goes.

you guys were hanging out and talking. your legs placed over his lap as he digs into his food from mcdonalds. you were talking as he ate.

he had ketchup on his bottom lip so you went to help him.

you grabbed one of the napkins and got close to his face, "hold on, shut up."

he pretended to act offended but let you, seeing as how he couldn't speak a protest right now with how full his mouth was.

Personally, mine is OjiToru (Ojiro x Hagakure).

Hmm. Good question. I don't think I have a particular favourite. I'm a multishipper, so I enjoy seeing him with different characters for different reasons.

(These are in no particular order):

Ojiro x Hagakure

Arguably the closest thing to a canon relationship in MHA, it's clear they have a strong bond and are close enough to share their worries with each other. Wholesome and supportive, plus Ojiro nearly lost his mind when he thought Hagakure kissed him during that one mission, and she ran straight into his arms when she was upset after discovering the UA traitor; they're adorable.

Ojiro x Kaminari

It's a ship where I see Shinsou having lots of guilt/insecurity and needing reassurance that he's forgiven, with Ojiro being the endlessly reassuring boyfriend, happy to squash any of Shinsou's issues immediately.

Honestly, I would love to see Ojiro with anyone. He gets so much shtick, when in reality he would make an excellent down-to-earth partner.

I also once made an OC specifically to pair with Ojiro, called Mahoro Mimi.

Ojiro usually doesn't like being seen as ordinary, so Mahoro was made to be the opposite. She's a girl with a transformation quirk that turns her into a terrifying, demonic monster when she gets too emotional.

It's a pairing that focuses on each wanting what the other has; a way to stand out, and a way to blend in.

Hi Anon! Yep, the SH and SH info being together in the Canary Islands was dropped into my Inbox before anything was public. To this day, I don't know who sent it to me.
