So, by popular vote, here's that little girl from "Lost"!
Brownie points if you can guess who or what she is.
She is known (currently) as 524-A, and all I can tell you right now is that she is incredibly important to the story, and to Mewtwo.
She is not Amber or an alternate version of her, as "Amber" was someone... different, in this world.
But she is looking for Mewtwo. She has to find him, no matter what.
She's very small for her age, and none of that blood is hers. She's younger than you think she is, and she smiles when she's nervous, a wobbly little Deerling. She also, inexplicably, has a connection to the Heart...
okay but HOW was Holly Black able to make a poem from Charlotte Mew, a poet from the 19th and 20th Century, work SO INCREDIBLY well in a story of faerie fiction???
Etoile: But can I ask, what is the issue with my Allie being around your daddy? :0
Mesprit: I DONT WANNA EXPLAIN IT...
Etoile: Why?
Mesprit: DON'T BE WEIRD AND MAKE ME TALK ABOUT IT....
Etoile: ooookieeeee ?
The two pokemon rapidly approach the building, Etoile shaking off their wet paw slightly after dipping it in the water
They both enter the building, the Mesprit looking around the room in anger before suddenly pointing in disgust
Following their finger you could clearly see Alaxia and the Celebi singing to one another in a drunken tone, both often stopping to whisper into each others ears the blush and giggle
The mew observes the scene, noticing the celebi and then looks back at the mesprit with a curious gaze
Etoile: Why aren't you both dressed up? Are you party crashers? or did you-GASP... did you not get the dress code memo,.,.,.,.,.
Mesprit: We aren't attending. My dad and I both work as delivery pokemon for various universes. So we travel around a lot, drop stuff off and then go to the next one.
Mesprit: We were supposed to just take a small break here for some snacks but then my dad accidentally had a few drinks, that's when HE came over and started getting freaky with him!!
Etoile: Ohhhh :0
Mesprit: BUT THAT ISN'T IMPORTANT. HURRY UP AND GET YOUR KID BEFORE HE KISSES MY DAD-
Etoile cocks their head slightly at the comment, but gives a friendly smile
Etoile: Okiee okieee I'll get him for you <3
the post in the report email above is the toonimal doc (either the original post or the archive of the doc). the blog that posted the ss is mostly empty and is likely either bait made to get a reaction out of people by some rando/dave or (least likely) someones genuine opinion. Major tw for quite literally everything you would expect there to be on such a thing if you go looking for links to archives
♪ I wasn't even ON fuck you. But you tryna make me look stupid, I'll slap the DOGSHIT outta you, stop playin' with me
ONLY FRIENDS as SZA Lyrics 3/? -> LOW
And there we have it! It's official--Akoya's expecting! I know a lot of you had that figured out, but I wanted to wrap it up neatly. Besides, Lav needed to hear it, too. :)
Now I need to turn my attention to Asks, because I've gotten quite a few!
Deep in the forest, a lab lies ruined and crumbling, stained so deeply that not even plantlife will venture inside...
There are scattered papers on the old, rusted iron desk. They're half-burnt at the edges, and dried blood has pooled and stained some of the words.
Will you read them?
-No
>Yes
Through the smudges of charcoal and red iron, you can just barely make out what was written. The words are scribbled hastily, as if whoever had written these was running out of time...
"I write this as the last survivor of the Heartbeat Research Team.
Around a decade ago, we found records that before the Darkness came, our ancestors had captured an incredible Pokémon they named 'Mew'. It held immense power, stronger than anything ever seen before. Our predecessors left us plans, and a sample that somehow survived everything.
Our boss in that long past thought to make use of it, and with its collected DNA they could make their own Mew, an army of them. They failed, but with these notes and data, we had what we needed to continue that work. Perhaps, we could even rise to greatness again. This "Mew", according to the old texts, did not seem suited for battle, so we experimented with what we could. A better clone, stronger and faster, and intelligent.
Too intelligent.
We should have known. That Mew escaped them so explosively those hundred years ago, how could we not have figured its descendant would do the same? Mewtwo and its bonded are gone. We don't know where to, as it ripped out the tracker we'd embedded just in case..."
The writing ends there, trailing off into burnt and flaking ash. The blood here flakes and coats your fingers.
...you should leave, stranger. Nothing good comes from lingering in a place choked with Shadows.
