Realized how often the Narrator anthropomorphizes things in the Ultra Deluxe in order to encourage or bait Stanley. Which is so much different than how he was in the past endings, specifically the apartment ending. The way he now refers to all the different quotable and memorable objects in the game as Stanley’s friends.

There’s just something about the way the Narrator does at least deeply try to relate to Stanley’s need as a human, understanding more that we are sociable creatures. Giving us the bucket as something to cherish and playing along with the notion (despite getting very obviously upset when Stanley gets too attached to the bucket and then tries to break down that narrative). The attempt made to actually reach out to Stanley in a human-like way.

I don’t know where I’m going with this but the attempt at connection through the similar actions of a person or something like that. Acknowledgement of human needs, even if it's more or less the bare minimum effort.

Ok something’s I hate anime art styles (even tho I basically have one) because they always give characters the same proportions No Matter What. Like I see someone who’s supposedly a strong boxer who can beat up like 5 people at one, and their arms are as thin as mine, a dumbass transfem who is purposefully weak because muscles give me dysphoria. Like ??? How does that work just from like a logistical standpoint?? (Yesss I am vagueposting about yurim from her pet but shut up)

I feel like the issue lies in the definition of ”hating on”

Most of the ”hate” that I see is upset and anger at qPhils particular actions (is it sometimes an overreaction? yes, but still) and perhaps one or two people who take it too far

But to push the narrative that it is all tubblings ”hating” when most is just being expressing upset or angry at a certain behaviour or words is crazy to me

Maybe it’s the fact that crows aren’t used to seeing so much crit of their fav that they immediatley label it as just hate? Idk

Tbh i think both parties here are being dramatic, it's not like tubbo is a big lore head who takes everything seriously so i dont see why tubblings would criticise phil for being the same

Like last time phil had his big lore was the birdhouse, where tubbo was trying to find him while still joking around and occasionally even being insensitive with chay and lula about the situation, now tubbo has his big lore and phil is trying to get him back while still joking around so it's nearly the exact same situation

But also crows taking it as a direct attack or hating on phil is also so unnecessary dramatic, especially because i know that doozers used to frequently criticise phil before tubbo even was announced (or was that labeled as hate too? I wasn't very active in the fandom back then)

Anyway i think the biggest reason for conflict is their different rp styles, phil is very obvious when he gets into lore mode and doesn't consider the rest exactly canon to his character while tubbo does subtle roleplay where everything he does on the server is technically in character even when he's just messing around. Because of this tubblings think that phil is purposely trying to hurt sunny or whatever while crows think that tubbo just doesn't do rp and thus everything he says and does is about him as a person rather than his character (i still can't believe some crows genuinely thought he's homophobic despite being a gay man)

That was a lot of yapping, tldr: both crows and tubblings are dramatic and used to their streamers rp styles so they don't understand how the other operates, resulting in honestly quite ridiculous drama
