Blue and gold eyes shifted towards the shore as the little noirette spoke, excitement clear in her words. And then, as sudden as she spoke, she gasped. “Oh!!”

Quickly, she snatched another shell in the sea, storing it safely in the bag in her arms. “That’s seven. I think I need…hm…ten, maybe?” She turned fully now.

“How are you doing over there?”

A mischievous little giggle filled the air around Odessa, flicks of light resembling pestering bugs buzzed about her head. Finally a face appeared in a puff of sparkles.

"A lil duckling, how cute! At least you're a pretty duckling instead of an ugly one." a dismembered arm laid across Odessa's shoulder until finally the whole body materialized, suspended in the air by it's shimmering wings.

"What's got you out and about? I know I'm not one to talk but isn't this place a bit dangerous? The beasts'll wreck your pretty self if you're not careful."

SHE FEELS HER EYES widening at the sight of him. She knows that voice. She knows it all too well. He looked different. He looks he had changed. But he still had that cocky smirk he always had, even when they were kids.

He was alive.

Oh god, he was alive.

She felt the tears fighting to well in her eyes. It didn’t matter if he was different. He was here. She could see him again. In the flesh.

She wasn’t dreaming this time. She hadn’t.

“….You’re alive…” she walks closer to him, looking up at him.

She was hoping he and Isa were still alive. Was he still here too? Was Isa alive too? He had to be of Lea was still alive. She had hoped for so long that they were both okay.

“…I’m so glad…” the tears finally fall from her eyes. She didn’t know what exactly had happened but she was grateful. She clung onto his sleeve.

“Is Isa alive, too? Is he okay?” The words come out before she even thinks about speaking about it.

When he had first asked the question, he was really going to ask about Roxas. Even though Roxas was Sora's nobody, Sora knew nearly nothing about him. All he had were feelings that would appear from nowhere that he didn't notice until some else points out that he was–most of the time–crying.

But it really didn't seem like Lea was in the mood to talk about that right now, given the response he got from the question. That was alright! There were always other burning questions to get around to! And one that was very important knowledge to have!

❝ So.... um... why sea salt ice cream? There's other flavors, right? Don't get me wrong, its really tasty... but there's so much more to choose from, and I've only ever seen you with the one! ❞ He asked, a brightness in the tone. The question really had been plaguing him for a while now!

SHE JUST GIVES A smile to the woman before her, rubbing the back of her head. She hasn't really given herself a moment's reprieve since being separated from Sora and the others.

She just sighs, nodding as she stares at Lucy, "I know...I just can't do it yet." She gives a nod, "Not when everything is still chaotic." She was trying to carry some optimism in her in this situation. She still needed to find Yumi after all and she should've known better than to let her anger get the better of her earlier back in Hollow Bastion.

She knows its hard, but she still needs to keep moving.

"I need to find the others and figure out where Yumi is...." There was still a lot to do...

Her hand clenched at her chest, feeling her heart pounding through her ears. It couldn’t be… Ten years have passed since Kira last saw those eyes. Enough time for her to grieve and bury those she lost all those years ago. Lea, Isa, Aurora… Her friends and family were all gone. Kira mourned for years, only recently starting to heal from losing everything that mattered to her. And now that she was healing, now that she accepted he was gone… He was standing before her.

Kira swallowed thickly and smiled, forced and tense and dripping with cynical distrust. " …What is this? " she whispered out as her gaze narrowed. Of course she would be skeptical, or even suspicious. Lea was dead. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been gone for so long. He would have looked for her, because she would have looked for him and never would have let him feel the same loneliness and heartache she experienced—

Her lower lip trembled as she darkened her smile. " Who would do this… " Who would be sick enough to play such a horrible prank? Bring someone back from the dead, make him look all grown up... Was it a spell? Was it a joke? Kira’s stomach twisted as she felt tears collect in her eyes, so she tightly wrapped her arms around her chest to keep herself from falling apart. She took a step back. He looked so real, a perfect grown version of the person she once knew… But those eyes, once fun and familiar, seemed darker somehow. Colder…but with a burning intensity that rivaled the sun.

No, this wasn’t him. It couldn’t be him. Because Lea wouldn’t hurt her like this. He wouldn’t leave for a decade, making her think he was gone…only to reappear in her life once she was finally healing. And yet…it looked so real�� " ...Lea? "
