yeah!! when someone makes a mistake and owns up to it, the most beneficial thing is to let them grow and change. this internet habit of wanting to browbeat people forever for their sins will get us no where. i get sometimes people have hurt you. and you don't have to forgive them. it's not about forgiveness, really, it's about allowing them to move forward. you can hold people accountable and still be kind and let them grow and change. that's very different from using their past sins as a weapon against them.

Tbh the best thing that succession figured out is that the Roy kids all have to love each other. They have to be fundamentally there for each other no matter what weird backstabbing they do on the face of it. This show would be NOTHING if they didn’t love each other. Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.
