okay so you're 24, and you've kind of always lived in the shadow of your sister and how great she is. not only is she significantly older than you, she's also the smartest, and the most powerful, and most impressive, and everything everyone could want her to be. so you play the rebel. you don't take anything seriously, you fuck around, you have fun, you sneak out at night. you travel halfway across the world, cause you're young and you're powerful and you have more to learn and you might not be totally over that guy you were dating and anyway why would you bother to stay where you're always being compared to the best?
and then she dies.
she was the best and she died and suddenly you're back home, in the house that still has your teenage angst literally painted on the walls of your room. she's dead, and you're spending most of your time helping her husband raise your nephew when you were supposed to be being young and reckless while she was impressive and powerful and everything she's always been, but she's gone and you're not her.
you watch her husband fall apart. you watch everything she stood for get overturned. you watch her son grow up with a memory instead of a mother. what are you supposed to do? you can't lead a war, you can't raise a child, you can't do what she would be doing if she were here.
by the time you're 30, your brother-in-law's moved on to someone else, like you can just replace the best, and the more time passes the less anyone else around you seems to understand how much they lost. how much they are still losing by not having her here and you
can't.
be.
her.
you never could. no one could. and that was fine when she was still here, but she's gone and it took everything from you, it upturned your whole life, and now you've got to try to keep going despite that?

I've come around to it: Tara being 20 and in high school is fucking hilarious.
Do you think she was babied by the town? Do you think people knew who she was? Quiet little Tara Carpenter. Older than her peers but treated like a child. Not the healthiest of children, it's why she was held back you know, they made an exception. A lovely girl despite her... family. The father left, her mother... well we all know about Christina Carpenter, rarely here and drunk as a skunk when she is. The other daughter, Samantha, a real troublemaker, just like her mother. She ran off a few years back, the best thing she ever did for that poor girl.
And then she gets attacked and all anyone can talk about is poor little Tara Carpenter. Who would want to harm her, she's such a sweet little thing? It's to do with the family, I tell you, nothing but trouble. Then her sister returns, and she's seen sharing harsh words with Hicks just the day before her death and that's when the rumours began. Samantha Carpenter, back to drag more trouble into her little sister's life.
When everything is over, all anyone call talk about is Samantha's boyfriend, the man who attacked that darling girl and all the others. I told you, they say, it was the sister's fault. They don't talk about the best friend. And when they see Tara out on the streets, they'll watch and whisper and give their condolences while throwing her sister nasty looks and snide comments. And when Tara decides she doesn't want to go out anymore, they'll whisper about the sister keeping her locked inside, talks of welfare checks and abuse, because what else could be going on. After all, it is the Carpenter's, we all know they're trouble.
does henry know that henricus can turn into that cat or is it a secret
thats a good question. it's a secret for like, 2 years (the reason for henri keeping this a secret is a long story LOL) but henry eventually does find out and he thinks its like the most awesome thing ever. because like, henry likes the idea of animals but he is very nervous all the time and doesnt know how to interact with them and he worries that they wont understand him. which is normally true (sad) but henricus going cat mode means that he can get used to the idea of a cat in his house. and henricus trusts henry a lot so he will tenatively accept pets.
Just thinking and subject to changes. Headcanon that axolotl hybrids in game, especially the ones that are blue axolotls, they grow into one, they're not born blue unless they have two blue parents. They start looking like a regular one.
From a pink one, turning purple and then indigo or blue. Cyan axolotls start with white and can have many discolorations but usually pink and/or cyan then they turn more blue but keep some white or pink. Yellow axolotls start with gold, then turn towards orange and then teal, blue or purple creep in, yellow takes an orange hue but not necessarily.
As for what a blue axolotl looks like, orange fins and indigo skin is more common but it's possible to see mutations and discolorations. Orange turns to gold. Or pink. Even red or green but it's very rare. The skin can be teal, light blue, blue, indigo or purple.
To Edoras came few outsiders. The girl - no more than twelve - stood by the side of her uncle's throne, watching as men came to offer their news and gifts, to ask for aid or wealth or guidance. As ever, it was men of the Mark who came before him; with one exception. A man tall, like her uncle, and dark-haired, as few of the Rohirrim were. She watched him curiously as he spoke with her uncle, and then the court was dismissed, and everyone went about their tasks.
"Sir," She slipped through the crowd to meet him, "I welcome you to Edoras," Éowyn spoke with the rehearsed ease of a child raised among nobility, her Westron fluid. "Please forgive me, I did not hear your name."
After spending three and a half hours of my precious time on this shit, I present to you:
My attempt at a timeline of BOTW/AOC/TOTK because if Nintendo won’t do it, I fucking will. Hopefully it isn’t too pixelated to view 🙈🙈
Something to note about the ending of this timeline is that because I haven’t beaten TOTK yet, (I know that you fight Ganondorf and Zelda turns back but that’s all [no spoilers for everything else please and thank you 🍷🗿]) I might be missing some other details. The information I got for this timeline was from Zeltink’s YT video on BOTW’s story, looking through online wikis on Zelda (Zelda Wiki, Zelda Fandom Wiki), and playing through the story of BOTW/TOTK.
Another thing I’d like to mention is the inclusion of Age of Calamity. I understand that it may not be a canon game to the Zelda timeline since like the original Hyrule Warriors, it’s just a fun hack and slash game, but I still added it in because 1.) You can just write it off as it being in a new timeline and 2.) I like to include it since it makes a trilogy and you know how the series is with trilogies lol (Triforce, Golden Goddesses, you get the idea).
*If you want to add on more details to the timeline/clean it up a bit, you’re welcome to*
This post was actually inspire from a comment by @theluckoftheclaws since it got me thinking about the BOTW/AOC/TOTK timeline and how messy everything is lol 🫡,
