long version will lead you to the 165 song, 10 hour and 34 minute playlist which i’ve been slowly adding to since january. short version will lead you to what you see here. youtube will lead you to the playlist you see here but... wait for it... on youtube. mostly because i know not everyone has spotify. spotify unwrapped will lead you to a mixture of the long and the short version, which is pretty bloated with austin wintory songs because those are what i listen to when i write or read usually.

the long version is much improved in length from last year, which was 261 songs and 17 hours, but that’s mostly because august through december i was pretty bad at keeping track of the music that caught my attention. whoops.

This was my absolute favorite from the Detroit: Become Human soundtrack. I tended to prefer Kara’s songs most because they were gorgeous and haunting and just plain fantastic. Sometime in January, I fell in love with eighteen wheels on an uphill climb, which was a 91k hank/connor wip by blackeyedblonde. Hank’s a trucker. Connor occasionally dabbles in sex work to keep himself alive and moving. But like, it’s so much more than that? Anyway, at some point the author linked to this song. I think it may have been on tumblr, but I fell in love with it and neko case.

Speaking of Detroit: Become Human (sensing a theme?), this fanvideo is one of my favorite things in the world. I had it and a couple other fantastic videos like it playing in the background while writing for the fandom. This video, in fact, is what finally made me go in search of the game. iv. almost (sweet music) || hozier The same kind of music haunts her bedroom I'm almost me again, she's almost you Wasteland, Baby was a thing that happened to me. Which would have already been enough to get it on this list, but I also listened to it on repeat while writing my first DBH fic. v. dancing in a room || ezi I know you notice, notice me I might be broken but it's not showing It's how I'm copin', copin' I don’t actually remember where this one came from. I know that sometime when March is still a bit cold, I listened to a playlist on spotify that I can’t find for the life of me. It had a lot of the songs that are about to come up on it, and before I started exclusively listening to audiobooks while I got ready for work in the morning, I listened to random fantastic playlists. vi. epic (pt ii) || anais mitchell & justin vernon And suddenly Hades was only a man with a taste of nectar upon his lips

Hadestown was also a thing that happened to me. This song makes me fucking weak. All of the lyrics are great, the whole song is gorgeous and haunting and so perfect it hurts, but those lyrics above are just *chefs kiss* vii. spanish sahara || foals Forget the horror here Leave it all down here It's future rust and it's future dust

Sometime during the spring, I played Life Is Strange and had a million and one feelings. I played both options for the ending and each one was gut wrenching in its own way. I think I still prefer the one where Chloe lives, but this song has literally haunted me ever since.

viii. obstacles || syd matters Someday we will foresee obstacles Through the blizzard, through the blizzard And this is the song that plays if you make the other choice. Again, SUPER TRAGIC, but also you know. You get to keep your girlfriend. ix. tom thumb || bitter ruin And I know I'll be burnt, but I can stand a flame or two to catch you

This was one of the songs that I discovered on the mysterious spotify playlist! Something I’d forgotten: I discovered Hadestown off of that playlist. Thanks, mystery playlist. You gave me all the ear worms. x. wolves of the revolution || the arcadian wild You're trapped inside of your own heart It's a spectators sport, just play your part You guessed it - from the mystery playlist. They’re all very reminiscent of the Hadestown soundtrack. Vaguely eerie, kind of haunting, a lot beautiful. Makes you feel like you’re a forest creature living on the edge of the swamp. You know: the aesthetic. xi. epic (pt iii) || anais mitchell & justin vernon Where is the treasure inside your chest? Where is your pleasure? Where is your youth? Where is the man with his hat in his hands? Who stands in the garden with nothing to lose I thought about only including this one instead of including part 2, but in the end I loved both too much to choose. Hadestown, man. I hope it comes to Ohio at some point in the near future. xii.  the spine || darren korb & ashley barrett Fingers tied themselves in knots around the heart It beats in time I see the spine of the world

I have never actually played Transistor, which is fucking tragic because I listened to basically the entire soundtrack over and over again for the entire year. There’s at least one more song from the game on this list, but it is really wonderful. Haunting vocals, perfect for writing or reading or driving.  xiii. don’t think twice || hikaru utada I'm only crying 'cause I never dreamed It'd take this long, it'd take this long Hi, I played Kingdom Hearts 3 this year. And I cried so fucking much. I had some issues with the game, namely how the ending was such a clusterfuck of boss fight after boss fight and emotional character arc resolutions so it all felt kind of rushed? But the gameplay was superb, the selfie thing was ingenious, and I did cry at least six different times while I was stressing my way through fighting boss fights with blurry eyes. xiv. face my fears || hikaru utada Oh, let me face, let me face, let me face my fears Won't be long, won't be long, I'm almost here Watch me cry all my tears

So like, if you care at all you’ve probably already seen it, but the opening cutscene of KH3 was to Face My Fears, and I’m gonna be real honest here - I didn’t like it at first. I moaned and groaned about Skrillex and how it was nothing like Simple and Clean or Passion/Sanctuary. But it grew on me to the point that it was actually my most listened to song this year. Watch me cry all my tears, indeed. xv. waves || chloe moriondo Make me into more than a goner Perhaps a little bit stronger Thicker skin, less needy, And maybe to not bruise so damn easily, but you can't

I don’t remember where I found this song either? Maybe mystery playlist but probably not. Either way, it’s pretty and uh, I too want to slow the world down. xvi. ashes || bear mccreary -instrumental- Man, oh man, let’s talk about how good of a game God of War was. It was so good, guys. The game play was excellent, the world was gorgeous, and the storyline was interesting. And the music went so, so hard. Between Horizon Zero Dawn and the new God of War, I have basically been ruined for all other games. Also, dad protagonists, am I right? xvii. wake up, moving on || kevin penkin -instrumental-

Did not actually realize this was part of a soundtrack to a game? But it’s very lilty. Has that French quirky romcom vibe to it and I listened to the crap out of it in early summer. xviii. paper boats || darren korb & ashley barrett The river always finds the sea So helplessly Like you find me

Another Transistor song. I really love Ashley Barrett’s voice. I should probably at some point play the game. xix. call off your ghost || dessa I hope she makes you happy It's just a lot to ask to watch your future walking past me

This song played during one of the weather segments of Welcome to Night Vale and made me remember how much I absolutely adore Dessa. Her voice is fantastic and I love the way that her songs flow. Also, this song gives me personal feels. xx. power over me || dermot kennedy I wanna be king in your story I wanna know who you are I want your heart to beat for me I have absolutely no idea where I heard this one. It might have been playing on the radio while I was driving somewhere? I played it a lot during the summer.  xxi. a future for the krogan || christopher lennertz -instrumental- It’s been a while since I played Mass Effect, but this song came up on a writing playlist and I have been listening to it ever since.

Also shrug emoji? Most of the time when I’m doing these there’s fandom connatations to half the songs, but these year I wasn’t heavily invested in a whole lot of fandoms so these are mostly just songs I listened to while I was a) driving, b) in the shower, or c) while reading.

I think there’s been an Imagine Dragons song on here every year since they came out with Radioactive. This is the only song of theirs I heard this year, but pairing their voice with Elisa’s was fucking genius because this song makes me feel the chorus in my soul. xxvi. crazy || patsy cline You'd love me as long as you wanted And then some day You'd leave me for somebody new I was at a bar, and my friend has just announced that he was getting married to his girlfriend of ten years in Vegas, on a ferris wheel, by an Elvis impersonator. We started listening to Elvis songs to figure out what he’d play, and then we got distracted listening to a bunch of old love songs. This one is more heartbreak than love, but I’ve always loved Patsy’s voice. xxvii. bury a friend || billie eilish Bury a friend, try to wake up

I was really slow to the Billie Eilish train. One of my friends recommended her music and it’s just so chaotic and fantastic that I can’t believe I didn’t fall for it earlier. This song in particular was a Billy Hargrove song for a while.

Back in 2011, when I was still watching Doctor Who, someone made this video which blew my little heart away. I rediscovered this song while we were driving back to Ohio from our annual beach trip and managed to get everyone in the car hooked on it for weeks afterwards.

So like, that scene, right? The one that had everyone losing their collective shit? I saw gifs before I watched the movie, and goddamn, it lived up to every single expectation I ever had. I made Nick watch it with me, and he groaned a lot because honestly he is not the biggest fan of super hero movies, but even he admitted that it was the best damn Spiderman movie we’d ever seen. It was powerful and clever and heartwarming and funny and the music and animation were both fan-freaking-tastic.

xxxii. bad guy || billie eilish I'm the bad guy, duh Can you believe that I actually didn’t know about this video until @nijuukoo did art? I mean, I’d definitely heard it and liked it before hand, but the fucking video, man. That pic of Vanitas showering Ven in hearts is still the background of my desktop.(It would have been the one of him sitting on Ansem while he’s doing push ups, but it didn’t work with my screen)

There was a Harringrove fic that I read during the summer that made the connection between this song and modern AU Billy and Steve. I thought it was @lymricks but maybe not. Either way - I listened to this for like three weeks straight while reading about Billy and Steve flirting at the pool. Ha! Found it - you, through half-shut eyes by @brawlite.

This one was another that I found on a random playlist while I was reading and I just love the rhythm of the song. I sat right up and favorited that sucker before I lost it.

xxxvii. dancing on my own — robyn I'm just gonna dance all night I'm all messed up, I'm so outta line Stilettos on broken bottles I'm spinning around in circles Okay. Okay, okay, okay. So there was that tumblr post that went around a while back where a bunch of subway riders who just got back from a Robyn concert started singing while waiting for the train and I just. It makes me so fucking happy. Like, I remember the night I clicked on that video. I’d never heard the song before, but I didn’t need to because the level of fucking joy and unity in that video literally brought tears to my eyes. Sometimes, humans are fucking beautiful.

xxxviii. hungover in the city of dust || autoheart We’re hungover in the city of dust So let our minds run round in circles While we figure it all out

I really adore autoheart. They did Sailor Song, which was on my Top Songs post last year and honestly, according to the plays on spotify, probably should have still been on my list this year, but alas - this is the abridged version. Every song I’ve heard from them I’ve loved. The entire bridge makes me shiver, it’s just so wonderfully executed.

xxxix. season of the witch || lana del rey You've got to pick up every stitch, The rabbits running in the ditch, Oh no, must be the season of the witch In October I watched Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and it was super spooky and really great and probably one of the best movies I saw this year? But like, also this cover by Lana del Rey was the best damn thing about it. I really like Juniper Vale. I found them last year when I stumbled across their cover of Singing In The Rain, and they churn out some really quality music.

This song reminds me a lot of Muse back in their early days. I was half-napping on the couch listening to, you guessed it, a random playlist on spotify, and I liked this song enough to surface from the edges of slumber to favorite it so I could find it again.

There was a fanvid. It was good and basically caught me up on Preacher. The song is also really catchy.

xlv. it’s quiet uptown || kelly clarkson Look at where we are Look at where we started Last year, this was on my list because of an EOS 10 playlist. This year it’s on my list because I still fucking love it. Also I saw Hamilton this year and it was really phenomenal. I cannot get over how good it was.

xlvi. pas de deux || michael abels -instrumental- I watched Us in late October/early November and this entire sequence was really lovely and eerie and just all around fantastic. I loved the mirroring throughout the movie, and it all came together in this stunning confrontation.

About a month ago I got to see Les Mis in theater and I cried like six or seven times. That is not an exaggeration I was a fucking mess. As much as I’ve adored every musical I have seen up until this point, I have never had a musical affect me the way this one did. It was incredibly powerful and the experience was worth every damn cent.

Messing with the camera a little, Mark waited for Youtube to confirm that he was live before grabbing his phone and tweeting out that he had just gone live on Youtube.

“Hello everybody, my name is Markiplier and welcome to another ‘World’s Quietest Let’s Play’ in a livestream this time. I know you’re probably wondering ‘Mark, why are you doing such a Let’s Play when it’s not really late at night?’ Well-.” Mark glanced over his shoulder, where a slumped figure could just be seen on camera, shoulders rising and falling calmly in sleep, dark hair covering his entire face. “As you can, Dark is sleeping, so I need to be quiet. And so, we’re doing to enjoy this Let’s Play while he sleeps.”

As the chat began to go crazy, Mark grinned and watched the messages fly, catching only a few as they shot by.

“Oh no, he’s fine, just a little sick. And since he doesn’t get sick very often, when he does, it hits him hard.” He replied, seeing several messages about why Dark was sleeping. “Livestreaming is easier when he’s like this. Okay, let’s get the game underway.”

Dark slept most of the time Mark was streaming the quiet part of the Let’s Play, snuffling into him every so often, which made Mark slip and lose his place. It was nearly impossible for him to keep quiet, and the chat was full of jokes about how Dark wasn’t asleep, and he was just fucking with Mark.

“It wouldn’t surprise me.” Mark laughed quietly, “Fuck.” He cursed as he died again. Rolling his eyes, Mark stretched as much as he could with Dark slumped over him, but the jostle was enough and Dark coughed himself awake.

“Mm…what are you doing?” He asked, voice so raspy it was hard to hear.

“World’s Quietest Let’s Play.” Mark whispered, “Livestreaming, say hello.”

The only response the livestream got was Dark flipping them off, refusing to lift his head from Mark’s shoulder due to the stuffy feeling in his head. Mark reached up and gently stroked his hair with a sympathetic smile shot to the camera.

“Everyone is hoping you get well soon.” He murmured.

Dark grunted and waved at the camera, already falling asleep again.

“Keep talking, I like your voice.” He demanded softly.

Shaking his head and smiling fondly, Mark leant his head back against Dark’s and gestured to the game. “How about we do a Q&A? That way, I can get Darkieboo to sleep and we can have a little conversation. Send question on Twitter, through the chat, and I’ll make a post on Facebook and Tumblr as well.”

The chat went crazy again, and Mark had to bite back a loud laugh. Questions were flying past and he could barely catch them, so eventually he told everyone to send them via other social media, because the chat was almost impossible to read.

“So, for everyone asking, Dark is sick but he’s going to be fine, he��s just melodramatic.” Mark chuckled. “But that does mean he won’t be answering any questions for now.”

That didn’t seem to stop people asking him questions, or asking questions about him. Mark talked for over two hours, with Dark slumbering peacefully against his back, and it was only when his throat started to get sore that he had to call an end to the Q&A.

“Thank you guys so much for coming to the stream, and for the well-wishes, don’t worry I’ll keep you updated about him.” Mark grinned, “And I will see you all in the next video. Buh-bye! Bye, bye, bye.”

With a final wave, he stopped the livestream and shifted in the chair. Dark was in such a position that he could lift him up piggyback style and carry him to bed.

“You and your obsessing with Youtube.” Dark grumbled, waking again now Mark had moved him.

“Stop judging me.” Mark replied, “Just get some proper sleep okay?”

Dark grabbed Mark’s shirt and refused to let him leave, mumbling he wanted his ‘personal heater’ to stay. Rolling his eyes, Mark climbed into the bed beside him and allowed Dark to wrap around him again. He always sweltered when they were like this, but he knew being cold was the worst thing for Dark and his already broken bones, so he swallowed down any discomfort and allowed it whenever he needed to.

“Goodnight,” He murmured, kissing the top of Dark’s head.

Dark snored in response.

"Hello everyone and welcome back to my YouTube channel. Today I was supposed to be met with a dear friend of mine, who've you met plenty of times before; Jason Todd, however he's bailed-" I was cut off by my phone, I raised an eyebrow as I looked at the Caller ID, 'Bruce', "Hello?" I answered,

"(Y/N), it's Jason" he said,

"What about him? What've you done?" I questioned as I stood up and began pacing,

"The Joker-"

"No! You're lying Bruce! Don't you dare say it!" I snapped cutting him off as tears appeared in my eyes,

"He's dead" He stated making the tears fall, I dropped my phone and fell to my knees letting out a painful scream and sobbed.

"Hello everyone and welcome back to my YouTube channel. After my 5 year break from it. As some of you may be wondering why I practically fell off the face of the Earth it's because someone extremely close to me died and I didn't feel like I could give you all my best when I definitely wasn't and I didn't want to put a facade for you. But I'm back and ready to get back to my schedule. I love you all so dearly. Until next time" I say into the camera before switching it off, I sighed as I quickly edited it and uploaded it to my channel, my phone began ringing, I glanced at the caller ID and growled, "What do you want Bruce?" I snapped,

"I need your help taking down Red Hood" he stated, I rolled my eyes

"And what made you think that I wanted to help?" I asked,

"Because he almost killed Tim" He retorted,

"Fine but I'm doing it so another Robin doesn't end up like Jason" I agreed reluctantly before hanging up, I left my recording room and headed into my bedroom, I glanced at my old Bat-girl suit scoffing in disgust before changing into a plain black top with a leather jacket and jeans, I tied my hair up and placed a simple black eye mask on before leaving through my window, I met up with Bruce and Dick,

"(Y/N)" Dick greeted with a smile, engulfing me into a hug, I rolled my eyes as he pulled away,

"Let's get this over with. I don't want to spend another second wasting my time with you" I sneered towards Bruce, he grunted in response before we searched the city for this 'Red Hood'.

Finally we found him, disposing of some drug dealers,

"It's about time you showed up. And you brought a new friend. Another replacement no doubt" Red spat,

"Replacement? I think not. How about I show you how much of a real deal I am" I threatened as I went to go for him but Bruce stopped me making me glare at him,

"This isn't your fight, (Y/N)" he whispered, I growled

"Then why the fuck did you ask for my help?!" I snapped slapping his arm away from me,

"Back up" he answered, which pissed me off even more,

"Back up?! Screw you!" I yelled and I punched him across the face, "Think twice before calling me for back-up again" I spat before going to walk away,

"It's Jason, (Y/N)" Bruce called over making me freeze momentarily as tears made their way to my eyes,

"So you finally figured it out" Red said as he removed his helmet, I slowly turned to see Jason stood there in the flesh, I sighed as I turned back around and headed home.

"It's worked. It actually worked" I mumbled as I paced my living room,

"Indeed. Now for you to hold up your end" A deep voice rumbled,

"Fine" I sighed stopping in place, I shiver crawled up my spine making me shake,

"We're now one" The voice announced within my head, I hummed in acknowledgement before turning to my window as Jason climb through it,

"And what can I do to help you?" I asked resting a hand on my hip,

"You look well" he commented, I rolled my eyes and folded my arms,

"What do you want?" I demanded,

"Ouch, that's the treatment your Bestie gets when you find out he's alive? I'm Hurt" he mused,

"Ex-bestie" I corrected,

"Wow...what happened to the happy YouTubing Bat-girl I knew?" He asked,

"She took your death hard, and as a warning that if she continued to wear that symbol on her chest she too would end up 6-feet-under" I answered, he hummed,

"You also stopped YouTube. Until recently" he stated,

"Your point? You were supposed to do a video with me before I got the news. I didn't want the memories to remind me of what I lost" I replied dropping my arms, he sighed,

"Do you still give the best hugs?" He asked, opening his arms awkwardly, a small smile pulled at my lips as I opened my own arms and he stepped into them and I wrapped them around his large frame and squeezed, "I missed you, so much" he whispered,

"I missed you too" I replied.

"Hello everyone and welcome back to my YouTube channel. Today, I'm joined by the one and only; Jason Todd!" I exclaimed as he sat in the chair next to me,

"Remind me again how I agreed to this?" He asked, I rolled my eyes

"Because you owe me. Plus, I'm your bestie" I beamed making him chuckle,

"Anyway, today I-we will be look at some of your fan-work; this includes art stuff, video edits and dare-I-say stories/imagines/head cannons" I explained,

"You're going to regret that last category" Jason commented making me slap his arm,

"Shush. Let's start with Tumblr art" I say as I searched my name and brought up several art pieces made by people,

"Hold up, is that us?" Jason said as he pointed to an artwork, it was of him and I younger, I was smiling/laughing and Jason had a bright smile on his face as he looked at me,

"Where did this come from?" I questioned as I looked through the progression shots then finally the source, "Oh my god. That was the second video we did together. It was a reading your comments" I stated.

I groaned as I made my way to my door, I opened it revealing Bruce,

"Nope" I say as I closed it but he stopped it with his hand,

"(Y/N), I need your help" He stated as he invited himself inside,

"The last time you needed my help I was only back-up" I retort, he sigh

"I know and it was wrong of me to do that to you but I really need you this time" He replied,

"You have plenty of other people to help you. Go get them. You can show yourself out" I snap as I began to head towards the kitchen

"Joker has them; Dick, Tim, Damian, Jason" He stated making me stop, "(Y/N) I'm begging you. Put on your cowl one last time for me. For Jason" he pleaded, I changed my course to my bedroom and pulled my batgirl costume out, I put it on and held the cowl in my hands as I exited my room,

"Still fits" I comment, a small smile appeared on his face as he nodded

"Thank you" He said before we headed out to his car.

We arrived at the Cave and was greeted by Alfred, Barbara, Kate, Stephanie and Cassandra,

"(Y/N)?" Barbara asked in disbelief,

"Yeah don't get too excited this is a one off" I replied folding my arms,

"The second batgirl was (Y/N) (L/N)! The famous YouTuber?!" Stephanie exclaimed,

"Yeah. Fan?" I asked, she nodded

"Only one of the biggest!" She answered making me chuckle before turning to Bruce who was now in his Batman suit, I put on my cowl,

"We work as a team. Our objective is to get the boys out" Bruce said, I rolled my eyes but nodded as did Kate, Stephanie and Cassandra,

"Shall we?" I asked as I headed over to the motorbikes.

We arrived at an abandoned toy factory,

"Stay alert. I don't want any corpses to drag out" I demanded before we entered the building,

"Do you really think this is a smart idea girl?" The demonic voice asked within my head, I hummed

"Spilt up, we'll cover more ground" I ordered,

"We'll be at a larger risk" Bruce retorted as he grabbed my arm,

"Do you want your sons or not?" I growled pulling my arm from his grip and squared up to him, he gave me his famous bat-glare which I didn't budge under, I only returned it,

"Fine we'll go in small groups, myself and Batgirl, and Batwoman, Spoiler and Black-bat" he ordered, I rolled my eyes and we separated down different corridors,

"Don't ignore me girl" the demonic voice snapped, I heard the psychotic clowns laughter making me spilt from Bruce, I looked through a window and saw each of the boys restrained to a metal chair and beaten, as Kate, Cassandra and Stephanie stood in the middle back to back, Bruce entered the room,

"Yey! Now the really fun can begin now Batsy's here!" Joker exclaimed before a swarm of his henchmen came out from any entrance possible, I sighed and climbed through the window on to the beams above, the four of them were easily overpowered and the Clown prince revealed himself, "I must say Batsy, I'm a little disappointed. Wait...where's Batgirl?" He questioned making me smirk,

"Who?" Bruce asked,

"You know Batgirl! She arrived here with you! I saw her!" Joker exclaimed,

"You must've been hallucinating Joker. No Batgirl arrived with us" Stephanie commented,

"She's right you know" I called out setting them all to look around, I wriggled out of the Batgirl suit revealing my pure black skin-tight bodysuit, I removed my cowl dropping it down below and moving from my position and placed on a simple black eye mask, "Batgirl never arrived with them, it was only little old..." I trailed off as I dropped from the beams on to a henchmen and snapped his neck, "...Me" I smirked before Bruce, Kate, Cassandra and Stephanie broke free and we began to take down the henchmen, Joker ran out of an exit making me growl, as I sliced a throat of one henchmen and drove my knife into a neck of another,

"(Y/N)! We don't kill! I thought you knew that!" Bruce scolded, I rolled my eyes and did a backward handspring avoiding the swings of a henchman before kicking the crowbar out of his hands and catching it before swinging it around his face,

"Get the boys out of here! I'll handle the rest!" I demanded,

"What So you can kill them all?" Bruce growled as he approached me as the last henchman fell, I glared at him

"No, so they can be treated. Now go!" I snapped as another swarm entered the room.

I groaned as I came conscious, one of the clowns managed to catch me by surprise with a crowbar to the back of the head,

"Ah finally, now how do you start a live stream Miss (L/N)?" A clown asked, I raised an eyebrow

"And why do you want to start a livestream?" I questioned earning a punch in the face, sending my head to the side,

"I don't. Joker does. Now tell me!" he snapped as he came to hit me but a gunshot echoed though the room and he fell backwards,

"Honestly, you can't find the men these days. I do apologise Miss (L/N) for his awful hospitality. Perhaps I'll be better. Now, let's start a livestream" Joker said as he approached a laptop that was hooked up to a camera, my eyes widened as it was on my channel, "Oh I hope you don't mind. Your channel does reach to a lot of people" he said before beginning the livestream, "See! We've only just started and we're closing up on 1million viewers. Our fans!" He cheered coming over to me,

"Go to hell!" I spat trying to get to him, he smacked me around the face with a crowbar making me yelp,

"Oh no we can't be having that. And to make sure that you don't die no one can cancel the stream or leave it" He chuckled before connecting the crowbar with my ribs causing another yelp,

"You can leave your streams on just leave your phone or computer or whatever you're watching this on" I demanded before getting another hit,

"So batsy, I know you're watching me along with all your bat-brats now you can either come save her or you could leave her in my hands. I promise I'll take the best care with her" Joker bargained making me chuckle,

"Of course you will" I commented earning another couple of hits, "B I know I've been off with you but if you or any of you other bats come save me I'll kick your ass myself. We all know I've been through worse. Since I was Batgirl" I smirked,

"What?! You were Batgirl?!" Joker exclaimed as he bent over in front of me, I narrowed my eyes at him

"Yes!" I growled as I kicked him in the manhood then head butted him.

"And we've hit the 72hours mark. Wow you can endure a lot" Joker stated,

"Come on girl. Kill him" The demonic voice commented,

"No" I grumbled,

"He's a monster" It continued,

"No" I repeated,

"Just like you" It stated,

"No!" I yelled gaining Jokers attention,

"No? No to what? Finally lost your mind?" Joker chuckled before skipping around the room,

"No. She didn't want to give up this fragile body to me" The demon spoke from me as I was locked into my mind.

Jason's POV

"No. She didn't want to give up this fragile body to me" (Y/N) said in a deeper, broken voice,

"Huh?" Joker asked as he stopped in his tracks, (Y/N) snapped free of the restraints kicking the Joker backwards into the camera, knocking it over,

"She fought so hard against me taking control and killing your pathetic self" (Y/N) spoke before the Joker let out multiple grunts, the camera was picked up revealing a bloody, bruised and beaten (Y/N) but her eyes were completely black, "I'm in control now. The girl you all once loved is gone and there's nothing you or she can do to stop me!" (Y/N) snapped before chuckling, dropping the camera that was aiming towards the Joker who was unconscious, "I must thank you 'Joker' if it wasn't for you, I would've never taken control of this body. Bye-bye now" (Y/N) cooed.

(Y/N)'s POV

"(Y/N)!" Jason yelled, I turned to face him,

"Oh it's you. The dead boy wonder. The reason she's in this predicament" The demon spoke,

"Shut up! He doesn't need to know this!" I snapped, the demon chuckled

"Oh but he does girl. You see Jason, (Y/N) was so torn up over your death that she went all over the world to find a way to bring you back. She eventually came across me and bargained her body as a host if I brought you back" The demon explained, I sighed

"But you didn't bring me back. Talia Al Ghul did" Jason retorted, 

"True but she doesn't know that. Or didn't" The demon chuckled,

"You lied to me!?" I exclaimed,

"You lied to her. Give her back!" Jason yelled as he came to attack, he was easily beaten and thrown on to his back,

"You want to know why she desperately wanted you back. Why she was so willing to give herself up?" The demon questioned as I circled Jason,

"You're probably going to tell me anyway" Jason grunted as I kicked him in the gut,

"She loved you. She still does. I know that her watching this is torture" the demon tainted as I withdrew a sword from thin air, "So why not let her watch you die" The demon said as I went to impale him,

"No!" I screamed and the sword stopped mid-way, 

"What the-?" The demon asked,

"You're not hurting anyone else" I growled making my eyes widened as I regained control over my body,

"No!" The demon yelled from inside my head, I smirked and threw the sword away,

"Didn't hurt you too bad did I?" I asked Jason as I helped him up, he engulfed me in hug,

"Not at all. I've missed you" He replied making me smile as I returned the hug,

"Me too. You best get me back to the Cave and locked up until Constantine arrives and removes this thing from me" I stated as I pulled away, he nodded,

"Just one last thing" He said before crashing his lips on to mine making my eyes widen in shock before easing into and returning it, we pulled apart and smiled at each other,

"I love you too. Since we were Robin and Batgirl, if I'm honest" He confessed, I chuckled giving him a quick peck,

"And I've loved you since then as well, Jason Peter Todd" I smiled.

Inside Vivian’s World

           Hi. Welcome to Vivian’s World. I’ve been inspired. Let me start from the beginning. I’m 24 years old and I live in Dallas, Texas in a Lakeside one bed room apartment with my boyfriend, Thant, and my husky, Bella. I’ve been working at a Dental Lab for over a year now and I promise it isn’t what you’re thinking it is. Usually when I tell people that I work as a Dental Lab Technician, they think that I work in a Dental Clinic cleaning patients’ teeth or what not. I work at a Dental Lab and we specialize in making crowns, implants, partials and things like that for patients. So in the department that I specialize in, I have a lot of alone time. For 8 hours a day, I’m doing my work in a secluded room in the back of the lab and for the most part, I don’t normally interact with my co-workers much, unless they need something from me. So to keep me from going stir crazy, I like to have something to listen to all day. My best friend, Tuan, for Christmas, gifted me some very nice wireless head phones that are supposed to be useful during work-outs and hikes, but let’s be honest, I haven’t ran a tread mill in years. But that’s a whole other story. 

           To make things simple, I decided that I was going to use Netflix to have something to listen to all day, because Netflix has a feature that allows you to download certain shows and episodes to be able to watch it offline, so you don’t need wireless internet to watch it. Which is important for me, because for some unknown reason, the Internet at my work place sucks so badly. To put things into perspective, I wouldn’t even be able to stream a 2-minute YouTube video. And also Netflix allows me to listen to the content without having to have my screen on for 8 hours like how YouTube is. So anyways, I would download about 10-15 episodes of Forensic Files the night before to have it ready and good to go for the next morning. I love Forensic Files. I love true crime, spooky stories, supernatural stories and things of that nature. So I was pretty content with my whole Forensic Files routine, because I would be working and simultaneously, I would be hearing these cold cases and true crime stories. I enjoyed every minute of it. Unfortunately, after a couple of months, I ran out of content. I had listened to every single episode of Forensic Files and I wasn’t entertained anymore by re-watching episodes because I had already heard this story. So I found other shows to try to listen to. I was very familiar with The Office so I was able to enjoy listening to episodes of The Office without physically watching the episodes. The Office held me over for a little while, but I kept losing interest and it was difficult for me to find another series to listen to because I had to be completely familiar with the series to be able to enjoy the episodes with only the sounds of the episode.

           By this time, my boss had upgraded the Internet service and I was now able to stream YouTube videos. So right off the bat, I was getting through the day listening to Shane and Ryan’s voices and screams on Buzz Feed Unsolved episodes. I love Buzz Feed Unsolved. I love Shane. I love Ryan. I thoroughly enjoy all of their videos. My favorite episodes are the Supernatural ones, just because I like spooks and I like hearing Ryan freak out when he hears noises in spooky places. I went from listening to Buzz Feed Unsolved to venturing into horror channels. So for a little while there, I was listening to YouTubers such as, ReignBot, Nightmare Expo, Night Mind, and Scare Theater. These guys did a lot of content on ARG’s and that’s mostly what I was interested in. If you don’t know what ARG’s are, it’s Alternate Reality Game, and it’s quite literally just very creative people or teams of people that deliver stories on YouTube, Twitter, or Tumblr, based in alternate realities. They’re usually horror stories and that’s probably why I’m so captivated by them.

           Eventually, I came across a YouTube video called, “Dybbuk Box CURSED Post Malone”, by Hailey Reese. Don’t ask me why it popped up in my suggestions. I have no idea. But I watched it and I LOVED IT. I love Hailey Reese so much; I went through and watched all of her videos. I truly believe that she has the sweetest and most pure heart on the planet. I fell in love with her story time videos and I fell in love with her soul. She is such a beam of light and love. She has a great friend, Loey Lane, and Loey Lane does a lot of story time videos also, and she speaks about her horror stories, stalker stories, and ghost stories. I just love the both of them so much. I wish I were their friends. The things I would give to have friends like them. 

           Anyway, while I’m listening to Hailey Reese and Loey Lane telling their life stories, I realized that I have very relatable stories and events that have happened to ME. For a couple of days now, I’ve been contemplating whether or not I want to start a YouTube channel to make story time videos where I can pretty much, just tell my stories. God knows I have a ton of stories and my boyfriend isn’t patient enough to listen to my stories. I moved away from friends and family, so I’m alone. I want to tell my stories. I want someone to hear my stories.

           I don’t want to be famous, I don’t want to get paid for my videos, I have a good job and I am in school working on my career that I love, so it’s not for financial gain. I simply just want to tell my stories. So I’ll be working on getting that together but for the mean time, just to have a place to document my stories, I’m writing them here, on Tumblr. Because quite honestly, I have so many stories and details to keep track of, so it would be nice to have a place to jot things down that I remember as I’m remembering them.

           So hopefully, someone out there will enjoy my stories for what they are. Hopefully, they’ll like seeing a little bit inside Vivian’s world.
