You had no idea what it was about red carpet events that made Johnny up act but, but every time he invited you out to accompany him, it was a constant fight not to let the paparazzi see his hands all over you. Not that you minded much, but hey, one of you had to have some decency. Maybe it was the stream of complementary alcohol, maybe it was seeing you all dolled up in a pretty silk dress, maybe it was the inherent nature of red carpet events essentially being an excuse to say, “Hey, look how pretty I am, look how pretty my partner is,” or maybe, just maybe, it was a combination of all three. 

Never mind, you thought as Johnny pushed you up against the front door. It’s definitely the dress. 

Just like they had been for the past few hours, his large hands were grabbing and squeezing ever part of you he could manage like a fucking kid in the pillow section at Bed, Bath & Beyond. And the more he felt each curve, the more excited he seemed to be getting, attacking your throat and shoulders and face with his mouth.

“Hey,” you chuckled breathlessly. “Easy.”

“Don’t know–” Another kiss on your neck. “What you’re talkin’ about–” This one landed on your soft jawline. “Doll–”

You let out a soft sound as his hot sigh of breath tickled your skin when he saw you standing there just in your bra and panties. Without fail, he always acted as though he was seeing you for the first time whenever you were in any state of undress. 

“Fucking goddess,” he murmured, and then his lips were all over your front. He was hugging your thick thighs like they were the only thing that would save him. His mouth dragged all around your belly and chest, pausing on occasion to kiss more deliberately or nibble a piece of soft skin. Each pause earned a small gasp or sigh from you.

A smirk fell upon his lips and he pulled away from your tummy, admiring his work for a moment. Then, he grabbed your ass with both hands and squeezed hard, humming. 

“I can do that.” 

In a flash, he was lifting you into his arms. You couldn’t stop a smile from coming across your lips–somehow it always surprised you when he carried you, even though you knew that he was more than strong enough to support your weight. All that time spent building up his muscles wasn’t just for show.

Your bedroom was an agonizingly long way away up a whole entire flight of stairs. Clearly, Johnny couldn’t wait that long, because he brought you to the nearest couch instead (well, technically it was a fainting couch; Johnny said he needed it for dramatics, whatever that meant). 

Johnny wasted no time in unhooking your bra and discarding it on the floor. Your panties were next. The velvet sofa felt foreign against your bare skin, but not unwelcome. He took a breath as he straddled you and began to unbutton his dress shirt. The whole while, he stared down at you. His brown doe-eyes gleamed with adoration. 

“Look at you,” his voice rumbled like distant thunder.

Shikanoin Heizou isn’t a romantic person. Flirty, yes of course, he loves to tease you, make you flustered with the sweetest words, but a true romantic?

No, Heizou isn’t one for romance, yet he still loves you with all his heart. He just shows it differently and that’s fine. After all, you love Heizou exactly because of this. But you also love receiving gifts—who wouldn’t? Not that you expected gifts from your boyfriend everyday, it was already a gift to you when he came home early from his work.

Shikanoin Heizou is a busy man, his time and love are the biggest gifts to you. And still you were a bit disappointed, when he came home empty handed on one specific day in February. No flowers, no chocolate, no wrapped gift. Just a tired smile on his face, his hair a little more windswept than usual and dirt on his clothes. You don’t show your disappointment, because you knew- you knew Heizou wasn’t a romantic boyfriend and there was no need for it. He already loved you so much, and this silly day wasn’t needed for the two of you.

But then you see the couples strolling around in the city while you do the last touches on today’s meal. Watching from the window in your kitchen, your movements slow down until you stop. You don’t see it then, but there’s a wistful smile on your face, almost sad and it breaks Heizou’s heart. He curses himself. Just because he isn’t a romantic person, it doesn’t mean you aren’t one either. What if you wanted to go on a date with him? One that was an official one, with him asking you out, planning the whole date and sweeping you off your feet for the rest of the day.

You may have agreed to his opinion that this day is stupid and totally unnecessary, but maybe you wished for a Valentine’s date, with chocolate and a kiss. He watches how you sigh and then go back to putting the food on plates.

“Let me,” he says and presses a kiss on your hairline. “It’s only fair I finish this up, darling mine.” You duck your head and blush, even after all those years of being his partner.

The two of you eat in peaceful silence, as you often do after a tiring day. And then… then Heizou asks you to let him clean up the kitchen, the least thing he can do after forgetting to get you a gift, even a small one. You don’t protest, fully knowing that he’s a stubborn man and so you let him, nursing a hot cup of tea and watch how he cleans up the kitchen. It warms your heart, seeing him like this, in the home you share, simply just here.

And when he’s finally done, he turns to you with a soft smile, eyes full with love and takes both of your hands in his. Pressing kisses on them, he kneels in front of you, all while you watch him with wide eyes.

“I don’t have a physical gift for you today, love, I can only show you how much I love you. You are a gift to me, the only one who owns my heart,” he murmurs and presses one last, long kiss on your fingertips. “And with this kiss, I pledge my love and life to you, be it in hard or easy times, when we’re alone or together. Will you accept my gift, darling mine?”

A question from my math homework except I actually write MacGyver blurbs instead because I'm fucking autistic- (pspspsps gav)

So far, every time Mac has reached for the thermometer, it hasn’t been with intention to destroy it. The opposite, actually, so Jack should be proud of him for doing so.

This particular thermometer will not meet its untimely demise and find itself in one of Mac’s strange builds. Instead, Mac has been using it for its exact intended purpose. Like every hour for the past six hours before now, Mac puts the probe underneath his tongue and angles the stick so he can just barely make out the numbers. 

He has to cross his eyes a little to manage it, and sure it gives him a slight headache doing so, but it’s for a short enough time that it’s always worth it.

Pen in one hand, Mac starts a timer with his other.

After the first minute has passed, he scratches down the number that the thermometer reads. He waits for the timer to go off for the next minute, and does the same. Repeats the process one more time until the full three minutes have passed.

Mac grimaces when he pulls the thermometer out of his mouth, allowing his tongue to move and roam around his gums to get rid of the feeling that always seems to linger when he has to put the metal tip under his tongue. While he fixes the feeling in his mouth, Mac sketches another small graph on the scratch piece of paper that he’s been using since this morning, comparing it back to the previous ones from other hours.

The Tylenol that Jack’s been incessantly reminding Mac to take has been good, keeping his temperature down. Not enough to be considered healthy, but plenty to avoid having to go to Phoenix Med. Or back to Phoenix Med.

As if Jack’s reading his mind—which at this point Mac would hardy argue with—his phone begins to buzz, Jack’s name and picture taking up the lockscreen. As soon as Mac accepts the call, he puts it on speaker and turns the volume all of the way down. 

“Hi, Jack.” His voice sounds raspier than it ordinarily would, but Mac thinks he’s otherwise doing well.

“Hey kiddo. How’re you feelin’?”

“Good.” Maybe not completely normal, but not as bad as yesterday. “Bored.”

“Yeah, I don’t doubt it. When I’m done here I’ll bring back some knicknacks from the lab to keep you occupied.”

“Or I could just come into the lab myself.”

Mac can practically hear his partner roll his eyes on the other end. “Not so fast. How’s that fever of yours brewin’? You take your temperature anytime recently?”

“Just a minute ago,” Mac reports.

“And?”

“After three minutes, the temperature had a positive first derivative but a negative second derivative.” Could be better. Could be worse, though.

There’s a long pause of silence, before Jack replies, “...I’m not even gonna ask.”

Hello Yuna! Thanks for the ask, and I definitely had fun! After all, writing for these characters is already plenty of fun! Also, I'm not a cat, I'm a bird-

It takes a while for Mafuyu to warm up to anyone, but if you're related to the music industry, you have a better chance of becoming her friend than most others!

The honor student isn't interested in many things, but the music world actually catches her eye! So when she was suddenly offered a chance to collaborate with another soloist on the internet, she was interested!

Even before the offer appeared, you've been in contact with her, trading tips for songwriting and how to interact with fans! At first, she didn't think much of it, but when the offer appeared, she understood that you definitely wanted to become closer...

She spoke about the offer with the others of the group, and they tended to react positively, but cautiously. After all, you had only written to her, and the rest knew little about you! So, she sends screenshots about your conversations. Let's just say, no one expected them.

Mafuyu, talking about music with someone else!? That was certainly unusual! Maybe she unconsciously though that she could trust you enough? The rest would encourage a collaboration, but only if it remained online for privacy reasons!

Before the call even starts though, you tell her that she doesn't have to worry about putting up an image! You've worked with asshole producers and marketers, so you can take whatever she throws at you! This puts up her guard, but she seems to be intrigued even more...

The call starts, and she does put up the act... At first. She never takes it fully off, but as the call progresses and your casual, relaxed tone makes the atmosphere more comfortable, she starts to lower the mask a bit... The fake expressions slowly become less forced, and her tone as well.

That's only the first one though. She's still hesitant to show you her real stoic self, but she still shows you more than anyone else! She also seems quite invested in the song you're creating together, and even learning a bit about your style...

Not just your style though! She learns about your goals, motivations, song preferences, even just random events of your life you mentioned while you two brainstormed some ideas! It lets her mind rest and not focus too much on the end result...

Sometimes, she randomly DMs you to start a casual conversation, only for her to just listen to you, saying anything that comes to your mind! After that, you two write a bit more, and then log off!

"... Oh, why am I not saying anything? Sorry, I just enjoy listening. Yeah, I was talking a lot the first time, but I prefer it this way. Hm?... Yes, it was acting. I never show my true side to anyone on a first meeting. That includes you, of course."

She could technically just finish writing the lyrics herself in a flash, but she waits for you, for your opinions and participations! She has never worked on lyrics alongside someone else, so it does feel a little strange.

Once you're done though, she feels as if her chest was not just warm, but light. As if there was a weight there she didn't even notice before, and now it was gone... She shows the lyrics to the group so that they combine it with the rest as always!

However, they're surprised to hear Mafuyu speaking so much about the process. It wasn't fast like usual, but by the amount she was talking, they could tell that she really got into it... They will silently agree to partner you two up again soon.

"... Why are you all silent all of a sudden? Hm, was I really speaking that much? You were the ones who asked though. Is it really that out of the ordinary... Hm, now that i think about it..."

She too will notice how she doesn't mind your presence, and voila! You have yourself a stoic girl who enjoys randomly messaging you to hear you speak whatever's on your mind!

Sure, she stays silent most of the time, but you can see that her smile slowly changes as you talk... Maybe, just maybe you're becoming special to her? Maybe you could be able to do more things together? Only time will tell...

How I feel about this character

oh, where do I even begin … Dorothy is my second favourite character from the show (shocker I know. With how much I talk about her I wouldn’t blame anyone for thinking otherwise! Rose holds the number one spot but I’ll hold off on that ramble for now). Her earlier story & the affects of it that we see in current canon hits incredibly close to home for me. I’ve been obsessed with trying to piece her life together since I rewatched! I also remember her face and voice most vividly from childhood, it was always her and Blanche 😂.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

obviously Blanche and Rose. Those three are married your honour !!!!!!! But I like to pass her around between them both as isolated ships occasionally too. I’m a big Blanche/Dorothy fan & even bigger Rose/Dorothy fan because they have some seriously untapped potential!!!!!! (pspspsps tgg fandom get into Rose & Dorothy!!!!!!!!). I don’t know if this counts as something separate but I’ve also created an au where young!blanche/young!dorothy exist and are together, before Blanche finds George and where Dorothy never has the displeasure of meeting stanley. I didn’t have the heart to separate Rose and Charlie :’) so they meet at the same time as they do in canon!! Otherwise, I have had a few college!dorothy & Jean brainworms in the past … I just think that. well …. you know ……. 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️. I’m very selective with my Dorothy ships because I’m like fiercely protective of her so I don’t have much else to say here unfortunately <\3 no men though. You’ll never catch me shipping her with men they’ve disappointed her enough!!!! No men!!!!!!!!! Just the fact that That One ended up with Dorothy in the final made me hate his character completely. Like violently, I can’t even explain I probably sound insane rn it’s fine (when the autism I guess 😭)

My non-romantic OTP for this character

JEAN!!! Also Ted before The Thing happened. I have a few sweet thoughts about them being close while Dorothy was struggling through her marriage. hhhmmmmm this one’s gonna be short … I headcanon her being a major recluse by choice (she’d much rather sit in and write/read/dance alone in the kitchen/sit with Sophia/etc) - not to say that she doesn’t have best friends but I think that she becomes content with being kind of a loser and I say that VERY affectionately. I promise to expand on this sometime! She’s my favourite loser!! She enjoys going out with the girls and mingling with their friends lots though. I would put the girls here but I don’t think I can see them being platonic atp honestly 😭😭 OH and of course Sophia. Obviously. Do I even need to explain? I think that one goes without saying.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I think I only have one unpopular opinion about her, & I won’t get too into it because I’m supposed to be keeping this account sfw 🤞🏻 (however I do plan to make an in-depth character study sort of post on why I headcanon this, on my side account) - I’ve noticed that lots of people headcanon her being this dominant masculine type in a relationship, and I personally believe she’s the exact opposite once she’s comfortable!! (let me be clear though: she’s only this way with women, Stanley was a different story but I also headcanon her being a lesbian, so?!!) Whether that’s with a partner in the way that’s kind of implied here, (trying to watch my wording 💀) or in every aspect of that relationship in general. She feels the need to be in control of everything around her so often that I think letting someone else do the decision making & guiding her for once is a need for her. Not one she’d necessarily know about at first of course, but something that her partner(s - Blanche and rose) would experiment with and pick up on. Maybe Dorothy needs to feel protected sometimes too, you know? To have someone stand up in front of her and let her sit back, instead of always feeling the need to do that for others based on the way she presents herself or comes across. Can you imagine how draining it must be to put up that front all the time? She needs a space to let everything go!! Anyway - for the record this isn’t to bash anyone’s headcanons because I know the opposite is a popular one, just my personal thought that I have yet to see in fics & things :)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

obviously …. marrying the right hollingsworth. I’ve made a post on this before so I won’t go crazy again but dorothyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy 😭😭😭 DOROTHYYYYYY 😭!!!!! I’m surprised this isn’t essay length like my last responses but I really don’t have much to say here other than that I think!!! (One other thing, that’s just as short but I’ll add it in here anyways - I really liked the way she developed into a much more confident person, but I wish she had leaned more into that softer side we see sometimes as well. Felt like she had her walks up more than ever at the end of the show imo. Maybe I’m nuts 😭)

How do you obtain this essence, you ask? Guess. 😉

So anyway, his boss, Kangwoo, offers him a proposition after Dooyun accidentally sends him a message about finding a new sex partner. The message was supposed to go to someone else.

The only problem? Kangwoo's essence isn't strong enough to keep Dooyun alive.

As the two fall for each other, how will Dooyun survive???

The smut is A fucking PLUS.

The art isn't very good in the beginning, but it gets SO beautiful by the end.

The reason it has a bad rep has a lot to do with two important characters that were very poorly executed. It's only 65 chapters, but the author could have stretched it to over 100 so easily. As an author myself, I can overlook poorly executed characters in favor of a good storyline.

Doesn’t believe in the cult-like level of loyalty some frats expect and so will 1000% report any of his fellow brothers who try to be shady/scummy/gross. No one would dare get mad at him for it so it’s actually helped the frat stay a healthy environment, 10/10 could trust the guys there with your drinks

Honestly at this point the frat is pretty much just Kaeya’s Followers(tm) and by his senior year the juniors get worried about it because “uhhh who becomes Kaeya when Kaeya graduates” and when they try to ask Kaeya this question he just winks and gives an answer that is entirely unhelpful and sounds like it’s at least 80% bullshit

Never seems to go to class and yet somehow always has amazing grades

In a relationship acts very flirty and is constantly teasing you in public, but stops short of anything above mild pda and in private gets really soft and sweet he’ll deny it if you try to point this out in front of others though

Is in the literal douchiest frat on campus fuck the Fatui like you’re constantly trying to get him to de-brother but he’s got a misplaced loyalty to them that keeps him in the organization

First time you met him you wanted to punch him in the face but he also quickly becomes the only thing stopping you from failing out of a class the two of you share and over the course of that time he manages to win you over at least a little bit

It’s all fun and games until someone pisses him off. He’s another one that you have to try and drag away from physical altercations on a semi-regular basis

Once he notices that you care enough to try and drag him away or worry about him if he’s injured in a fight, he starts picking more of them just to see your reaction

Even if y’all’s relationship is entirely platonic he flirts with you. He thinks it’s funny when he can manage to fluster you so he tries to make a game out of it even if he doesn’t actually mean any of the things he’s saying

If you guys are in a relationship he definitely packs on the PDA, partially to fluster you, partially because he’s possessive and he doesn’t like the way some of his frat brothers look at you sometimes so he wants everyone to be totally clear on who exactly you belong to

Still rich, still never has any fucking money on him. The number of times you’ve had to cover for this man because he’s forgotten his wallet in his dorm or straight up lost it is honestly ridiculous at this point but you can’t even be mad at it because he invites you to his family’s beach house and shit to compensate

He’s the kind of rich where his family has had money forever so he genuinely doesn’t even realize that some things aren’t normal experiences like not everyone grew up with a butler and all designer clothes, etc.

Definitely an Econ major because his parents want him to take over the family corporation but on the low has 0 intentions of doing so and actually intends to create his own start up after graduation and do something he wants to do without having to answer to anyone

He’s so pretty and for what? Mans is oblivious as fuck. Literally half the people on campus that are into dudes have a crush on him but he has no idea and if you try to point it out to him he’ll wave you off

In a relationship he’s either taking you to the shitty Mexican restaurant on campus that’s open until like 3am on weekends or five star restaurants, no in between. You’re either eating like royalty because he knows you deserve it, or eating like broke college kids because he wants the ✨experience✨

Not only is this man not in a frat, he probably actively campaigns against their existence and isn’t quiet about hating them

Always goes to class and thus always has amazing grades

Won’t get into physical fights the way Childe and Xiao do even though he could hold his own in one if he wanted to, but regularly gets into debates with people and is not afraid to drag you into the middle of it even if it has nothing to do with you

Doesn’t drink which frequently means him playing caretaker/mom friend when y’all go to parties together and while he might complain about it he secretly loves that you trust him to take care of you if you get sloppy drunk/high/crossed

Flusters easily but good at hiding it. If you flirt with this man in public his expression won’t change while he’s telling you to stop fucking around but his face will be going as red as his hair

In a relationship he’s not a fan of PDA but is a fan of you, so while he probably keeps the affection to a minimum while you’re out and about he still is maintaining some sort of physical contact with you most of the time or at the very least is keeping you close
