More post-betrayal ruin redemption headcanons yall
Other headcanons: x x
Cassie occasionally gets mild dizzy spells after somewhat physically taxing tasks, likely resulting from having hit her head in the elevator drop. They're mild and usually last only a few minutes at a time.
In those moments, M.X.E.S locks her out of the vanni mask as the AR world can prolong the dizziness with one in such more weary condition. It also discourages Helpi from talking to her through the implant during those moments.
Additionally, M.X.E.S no longer needs the inhibitors to restrict Cassie's vanni mask controls-- after she offered her mask as a new security node, M.X.E.S achieved further incorporation into it, like Helpi. It tends to restrict her mask controls now only with her best interest, such as to prevent her from using it during dizzy spells.
As it appears that Helpi would get tampered with several times (yellow eyes, pulsing vein,) mostly likely by the Mimic pretending to be Gregory. However, with M.X.E.S now also incorporated into the mask, it prevents the Mimic from pulling the same stunt, effectively securing Helpi from future tampering. As a result, his misleading and gaslighting was reduced by a huge notch if not nulled completely, as those instances weren't really him. Unfortunately his sassiness is all his. M.X.E.S has had to become intimately familiar with it now.
Chica has her voice back, thanks to Cassie! She also functions slightly better (as in not randomly powering down,) since Cassie went out of her way to dig and pull all the trash, rotten food, and goo off Chica's body and endoskeleton, as all the accumulated junk in her inner components were interfering with her functions.
Not only you can find Monty's legs in that hidden Monty shrine, but also his sunglasses and even his bass (formerly Bonnie's, as we've learned by now.) For now there's not much to do about his legs because reattaching them back to him require a complex level of repair that they just don't have the means to achieve in their current situation. But gator boy is very happy to have his sunglasses back, and his bass for the emotional value it has even though he can't play it in his current condition. It's the best Monty has felt in a long while now.
While Roxy prided in her appearance, and yes she's upset she hardly resembles who she was, she doesn't dwell on it as much as she used to, far more concerned about her twice no.1 daughter child. But she still greatly appreciates when Cassie lets her know she's still pretty in her eyes.
That can literally be seen with the vanni mask, with Cassie seeing Roxy exactly as she was with holographic filling even through her ruined state.
In fact, that phenomenon gradually spreads over to the other robots as well with holographic filling over their missing parts, seemingly based on how much Cassie bonds with each of them.
In the AR vision, Chica gets her beak back, as well as her hair crest and bow, over her most exposed endo leg/foot, and an entire holographic arm where the physical one is missing and holographic casing over her endo arm; She also gets an holographic eye in place of the one she donated to Roxy.
Monty doesn't get his legs or tail but his entire upper body gets his former pristine holographic looks.
Prototype Glamrock Freddy no longer disappears in the AR world, gets holographic casing over his endo hands as well as his exposed endo foot, then his stomach hatch lids filling in the broken parts and highlighting the bolt pattern, and lastly an entire holographic Glamrock Freddy head (which allows him slightly better communication with Cassie with the mask on, even if mostly through facial expressions and body language since he still can't speak.)
The Daycare Attendant has Sun's sunrays filling the broken parts in with holographic bits, holographic bell at the tip of Moon's cap as well as more holographic bells on his wrists, holographic casing filling in over his hands and an holographic leg filling over his most exposed one.
Bonnie doesn't really fit this phenomenon since he's technically not missing parts, he's just busted as hell. He does however get an holographic filling on his chest highlighting the star symbol he's supposed to have there, and curiously, an holographic earring where his physical one's missing, matching Freddy's earring (the "You & me forever and ever" got me ok.)

Solving the death of Glamrock Bonnie Part 2
Continuing with my previous post, one thing I found interesting is that Glamrock Bonnie's eyes are white, and the only time we ever see this in Security Breach is with Glamrock Freddy. For Glamrock Freddy, it's possible that his eyes are glowing because he’s still on recharge since he wasn't fully charged after malfunctioning during performance.
Tumblr media
However, this isn't the first time we have seen white eyes. We saw this with the classic animatronics, the puppet, scrap baby, and golden freddy. The glowing white eyes appear to be a debate with the fnaf community. However, the classic animatronics, golden freddy, puppet, and baby were at one point possessed by a child. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy were possessed by the five missing children incident, The Puppet is possessed by Charlie Emily and baby was possessed by Elizabeth Afton.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The tangled is an augmentation of robotic body parts that it has been collecting throughout the pizzaplex. It also has the mask of the puppet, who doesn't have glowing eyes, and the streaming tears are gone. It is worth noting that chica, Bonnie, and Circus Baby are actually animatronics used in the AR delivery.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, the Puppet was never seen in promotional posters of Ar Delivery, and we know that the puppet was present when Henry Emily burned the down the pizzeria because one of his goals was to let the soul of his daughter to be put to rest.
But what does this have to do with Glamrock Bonnie. Well, one of the main theories involving Glamrock Freddy is that he is possessed by Michael Afton himself. This back by his protectiveness towards Gregory, how he isn't controlled by the mimic or vanny who is mimicking his Michael's father, William Afton ans how when Vanny made him dig up the path, he said that he saw himself for the first time.
Is it possible that Glamrock Bonnie was possessed, but the question is, who? A lot of people die in this game, mostly children. So it is going to be hard to dissect on who would it be. Whoever they are, why does it have anything to do with the decommission of Glamrock Bonnie?
In Security Breach, we get a message where it appears to be a security report involving Glamrock Bonnie whereabouts. It says, "SECURITY REPORT - 12:24AM - Bonnie is seen leaving his green room in Rockstar Row heading East towards the atrium. 2:40AM - Bonnie enters the East Arcade. 4:12AM - Bonnie enters Monty Golf."
When looking at this report, the most obvious thing is that this happened after the pizzaplex was closed. Another thing to notice is that it says Bonnie entered Monty Golf, and that was the last sentence of the security report, yet when we do see Glamrock Bonnie. He's in the back of the bowling area. If they were tracking Bonnie's movements, then wouldn't the security report also continue with him heading over to Bonnie Bowl. Well, one will discuss if the other animatronics have a tracking device.
In Security Breach, Gregory had to get a hall pass in order to release Glamrock Freddy from his green room. It's possible that the other glamrock animatronics were also locked in their rooms, and it was Vanessa who released Chica, Roxy, and Monty to help her hunt down Gregory. So, it's interesting that within 24 minutes, Bonnie managed to get out. Well, the only thing that makes sense is if he crawls through the vents that Gregory did in order to get out.
Another thing to point out is that Bonnie spends a lot of his time in the arcade until he heads over to gator golf. So, was he spending that time playing every arcade. Well, yes and no. I don't think he played every arcade. But he did at least play certain games. While roaming around the arcade, you'll notice that some of them have a purple screen.
Through the dufflebags, there are messages talking about specific arcades and how they appeared to be glitching. Glamrock Bonnie may have overheard an employee discussing it but wasn't too sure which arcade game he was referring to. Why is the glitch important? Because glitchtrap, aka the mimic itself, is controlling the arcade by using those wires that you see around the area.Whoever is possessing Bonnie is connected to glitchtrap himself. Yes, I believe that Glamrock Bonnie was possessed by no other than Jeremy himself.
For those who don't know, there's specifically three Jeremy's in this franchise. But we are talking about the "Remember Jeremy" back in help wanted. In Help Wanted, by the time we are hired as beta tested for the fazbear virtual experience. Jeremy doesn't work with the game company anymore. He's mentioned by tape girl that Jeremy seems to enjoy his job as a beta tester, but as the day went, one went. Jeremy starts to become numb, and everything that even jumpscares didn't affect him. Tape Girl mentions how it sounded like Jeremy was talking to someone through the headset. Glitchrap was trying to control Jeremy.
One day, the tape girl comes to work, and she sees Jeremy, but she also sees some sort of Halloween mask and spilled ink. We both know that was a Halloween mask, nor was that black ink. Jeremy cut his own faces off. However, I don't believe it was under glitchtrap's control.
Here's why I think that. We don't know if there were other beta testers before Jeremy. So, Jeremy would have to be the first beta tester. It's interesting how tape girl and later on, Vanessa just accepted Glitchtrap and let him take over. Tape girl manipulated Vanessa to do so, but it shows that the tape girl herself was already accepting the control of glitchtrap. Also, at no point in the game, do we have to harm ourselves. Jeremy was trying to break from glitchtrap, so he did the only thing that he had to do. He cut his own face off because glitchtrap was scanning him.
You could say that because Jeremy was his first person , and he tried to control and brainwashed. He learned the trials and tribulations because it was still on murder mode. However, I don't think this is the case. Jeremy cutting his face off is similar to how Vanessa ordered those thumb screws. Vanessa is aware that there's something dark inside her that she needs to control, so she harms herself by using the thumb screws.
Jeremy passed away due to his injuries, but his spirit was hanging around. The thing about ghosts is that the reason why they may roam around earth is because of unfinished business, and they never felt like they got justice. That's why the five kids, Charlie Emily and even Elizabeth Afton, hang around because they all die tragically. I believe that's what is happening to Jeremy. Jeremy was the first victim of the mimic, aka glitchtrap, when it comes to brainwashing.
When it comes to choosing the animatronic to possess, I think that Glamrock bonnie was pretty much hand-picked, but Bonnie Bowl itself appears to be the only place where it doesn't involve Vanny camping out there nor an arcappearing there. Vanny camp out in fazerblast and possibly the room behind the daycare attendant's room. They mentioned how there are three arcades in Gator Golf, the bakery, and the daycare attendant's room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not to mention that Roxy Raceway was built on top of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, and we know that Roxy was the last security node to shut down M.X.E.S by completing phase one of releasing the mimic. So Chica, Roxy, Monty, and to an extent Moon were controlled by the mimic through the arcades or in Roxy's case, they are near the mimic itself. This is why she was chosen to be the last security node.
Speaking of security nodes, it's interesting how the only one to deactivate the wet floor bots is through the V.A.N.N.I mask to put Glamrock Bonnie. The V.A.N.N.I isn't something that Vanessa made for herself, but rather, it appears that there were many made for the technician employees. The technician employees are responsible for the animatronics, meaning that they upgraded Glamrock Chica, Roxanne Wolf, and Montgomery Gator.
Remember when I said that Cassie's Dad was a technician? He never told her why bonnie was decommissioned and how the statue of Glamrock Bonnie is him cowering way something. I think that Glamrock Bonnie got decommissioned through the virtual reality of the V.A.N.N.I mask. This is why he managed to connect to the wet floor bots, and that's why you have to have the V.A.N.N.I mask to deactivate them.
However, we still have answered who or what decommissioned. Yes, the technicians who were probably controlled by the mimic through the V.A.N.N.I mask made sure that Glamrock Bonnie was decommissioned, but the statue in Help Wanted 2 and the area that he was found. It's telling us that nobody could cause that damage unless they were an animatronic themselves.
When looking at the crime scene itself, the biggest clue is the whole on Bonnie's chest, where it appears to have claw marks. So, we know that the animatronics has to have claws. There are three animatronics that were given claws based on the animal counterpart. They are Montgomery Gator, Roxanne Wolf, and Glamrock Freddy.
I'll start with Montgomery Gator. The main theory involving Glamrock Bonnie is that Monty killed Bonnie. This is because the last time we heard about Bonnie was that he was in Gator Golf. Monty ends up replacing Bonnie and how unlike Foxes and Wolves are in the same dog family. alligators are apex predators, while Rabbit was prey themselves. However, there are certain details that contradict the theory.
First of all, Glamrock Bonnie is found behind the bowling area even though the report stops at him going to gator golf. Another incriminated evidence that Monty did it is his claws himself. While yes, Monty probably did have claws . They didn't get upgraded until Monty got replaced Bonnie in the band. It is mentioned that when Monty's claws got upgraded. According to Freddy, bassist claws require the animatronic to slice through things, and that's interesting because how would Glamrock Freddy know that?
Next up is Roxanne Wolf, there are no evidence that Roxanne Wolf ever wanted Bonnie wanted to be decommissioned. She likes her position as the key guitarist of the band. The only thing we have is that she's an animatronic with claws, and her claws probably help with her playing the key guitar. You could say that because Roxanne may have jealous of Bonnie's popularity, which is why she's always says she's the best and how she confidentially believes that she's Gregory's favourite animatronic, But I don't believe this to be the case. So, Roxanne Wolf isn't the culprit. Which leads to Glamrock Freddy.
Throughout the security breach, Glamrock Freddy is shown helping Gregory, and the only time where he attacks him is when his battery is low or during the afton ending. However, this isn't to say that Glamrock Freddy was free from the mimic's control. I mentioned how Vanny was camping out over at the fazerblast. But why was she? It's also interesting that the three places where she camped out are Fazerblast, Daycare Attendant's room, and underneath the pizza place in the basement. The daycare attendant's room as the BB world game, and it seems to be the most glitched game of them all. You play this game last. You are now fully under the mimic and Vanny's control. The basement is where the boss battle itself happens. What is if the afton's ending ever happened, but doesn't mean Vanny's hideout in the basement is non-canon. So, we have two places that Vanny was hiding out involving a connection to The Mimic , so why campout in Fazerblast. That's because Princess Quest III is located, the game that Vanessa is trapped in.
The princess quest games appeared to be located in places where they are protected because it will be the last place that somebody would ever find. However, the princess quest appeared to be hidden well since, according to a message, somebody only played two of the games but didn't complete the third. It's also worth noting the only to get access to Princess Quest III if you win fazerblast and get the faz laser. What does this have anything to do with Glamrock Freddy.
Because Glamrock Freddy was probably under the control of mimic and Vanny at some point in time. When Glamrock Freddy was ever under the control is when the task involving the mimic becoming William Afton and bringing William afton. Meaning that Glamrock Freddy was the animatronic who decommissioned Glamrock Bonnie.
The technician programmed Glamrock Freddy by connecting him to the V.A.N.N.I network, and the reason why Glamrock Freddy didn't have any memory until he was upgraded is where he remembers what he has done. However, Freddy does appear to have some guilt about what happened. Glamrock Bonnie had to decommission through the V.A.N.N.I network since we know know he activates the wet floor bots, but the wet floor bots can't deactivate unless you're in the V.A.N.N.I network.
Another animatronic that helped with the decommission of Glamrock Bonnie is the moon animatronic. The last location that Bonnie was seen is Gator Golf, but he was found in Bonnie Bowl. Because this was the night that Glamrock Bonnie was decommissioned. Similar to what happened to Freddy in Security Breach when he got knocked out and dragged by the moon to parts and services. So, Glamrock Bonnie was knocked out, and the moon animatronic took him over to Bonnie Bowl. Glamrock Freddy decommissioned Glamrock Bonnie so bad that there was no way for the technician to repair him.
Glamrock Bonnie was still activated through the remnant of Jeremy, so he connected to the wet floor bots through the V.A.N.N.I network, just waiting for someone to deactivate them and find his body.

Do you think that by security breach time FNAF is basically a Distopia? Like the bears are extinct that's probably really bad for the environment And to be rampant child death that no one cares about. By now other people must know about remnant and if the pizza plex is anything to go on technology has advanced like crazy, Warfare must be insane. If it isn't a dystopia it's definitely a very dark future..
I don't think it's a dystopia. While I don't believe TalesGames, I do expect it's an accurate reflection of the world in the games as well, and it doesn't give dystopia vibes.
Kids are dying, yes, but it's not being ignored as shown by the missing people newspaper in SB, and as sad as it is, stuff like that happens in the world today (just not with the whole Remnant thing). Technology seems advanced, but mostly just in the sense of more lifelike animatronics and cool hologram stuff when not counting stuff like Glitchtrap and the VANNI mask which I don't think are normal society things.
To me, the modern FNAF stuff seems to be taking the route of technology development we're on and just amping it up to put it into society. It's FNAF, so it seems dark, but technically the tech on it's own is a neutral force, it just turns out bad because of the people using it and FNAF being a horror franchise lol

Is there a ref for Vanessa in the future stares back? I don’t know if there’s any mention of it, but I keep imagining her with a bunny nose and I think that would be so cute if it’s true!
Also how far are certain attributes for evolved humans? Like you mentioned merfolk have varying looks (scales and no scales as an example), is that the same with skyscrapers (if I remember the name correctly) and rabbitfolk?
How many different types of folk are there? You don’t have to say specific species, but like just a number of the different branches human evolution took would be so fun!
And is there any crossbreeding? Can a merfolk and a skyscraper make a seabird? Flying fish?? Or has their common human ancestry evolved too much to make that a possibility?
If any of these questions are spoiler territory, sorry ^^ I’m just super interested in this world you laid out before us! I love your work so much! I also need to catch up with recent chapters as well so if any of these questions have already been answered in the work itself, sorry!
May you keep having fun writing! As I will always have fun reading! ♥️
WOAHHHHHH IM GIGGLUNG KICKING MY FEET YOU ASKED SO MUCH DJHASDHFASJKD WOAHHHH!!! I LOVE ANSWERING ASKS ABOUT THE LORE YOU ARE LIKE PROVIDING ME A GOURMET MEAL HERE ANON!!!! answers under the cut because I WROTE SO MUCH LMAO
there is INDEED a Vanessa ref, though ive never posted it! she doesn't have her mask here, plus ive been meaning to clean it up and work on it with all the other refs in the main lineup but alas ive. been putting it off LMAO
(ironically she, along with 2 characters who only appear later down the line, are the only refs I actually have finished...)
you can have it here before i. eventually post it as a separate thing with the finished line up! as a treat :3!
Tumblr media
i needed to incorporate a vanny motif SOMEhow... and you were right about her having a bunny nose x3c i think she looks so much cuter with it!!!!
you're also right about the attributes! Current humans all look wildly different from each other, even within their own species! though in skyscrapers and rabbitfolk (also known as luprime in universe, but they're more commonly known as rabbitfolk! im impressed with how you guessed it, but then again it was pretty obvious LMAO), their variations in appearance are a bit more subtle than the ones in merfolk
for skyscrapers it's all about the amount of feathers, but they'll always BE feathered. some skyscrapers only have a thin layer of feathers or they'll only have feathers along the underside of their arms, but its extremely rare to not be completely covered in feathers.
for rabbitfolk, it's the amount of fur they have and also their facial structures. particularly the nose! some have more fur than others and some have no fur at all. having a proper bunny nose and much more rabbit like skull is uncommon but not rare! those without just have flat noses instead. vanessa does have fur too, but her jacket covers it up :3
and thats not accounting for various differing body shapes and differences in things like teeth and skeletal structures from within the same species...
there are at least 8 different types of Current human species with 4 distinct branches that human evolution took!
the actual number of Current human species is unknown due to how spread out everyone is now as well as lots of subbranches and variation and nuances within every single species, but at least 8 main ones is the most widely accepted answer. for now ;D!
crossbreeding is both a yes and a no! offspring from, as in your example, a mer and a skyscraper is 100% possible! it would likely adopt traits from both, but end up as mostly one or the other. for example it might have the much larger hands and the same arm structure that a skyscraper does while also having a mer tail! or it might have fins and webbed hands while also having legs!
sadly, having both scales and feathers at once is impossible due to the types of required genetic materials, so they'll either have neither or have the one that whichever side of traits they get more of does (i.e. if they're more skyscraper, they'd get some feathers)
although its certainly 100% possible and has happened before, some species are able to pair better than others. merfolk typically have a hard time with others that aren't also mers no matter what, as theyre VASTLY different from most other Current humans in their biology
anyways that's enough from me on this post LMAO!
anon i hope you know am absolutely THRIVING answering all these lore questions i love talking about worldbuilding and lore i normally dont get to mention in the fic AKSJDASK!! i feel so incredibly flattered that you like my silly little fic this much to ask THIS many questions hahaha akljsdkkalsdjshdf THIS MEANS SO MUCH TO MEEE AAAAA!!!!!!!!

i have another au idea and i havent even drawn much for logical error and this ones so cool and D:
the gist is that its a swap au - gregory and cassie swap places. to what extent im not exactly sure (was she controlled in gregorys place, or were they simply in each others place at this one point in time?), but they do swap games, which is whats mostly important.
security breach - cassie
cassie does not use the animatronics to upgrade roxy (yeah shes with roxy fight me), but ive decided that its basically a twisted destiny thing - monty will always fall from the catwalks and break. chica will always lose her beak. roxy will always lose her eyes. freddy will always lose his head. they will ALWAYS wind up in the state they are in ruin, regardless of who does what.
and this is also going with the most popular theory/most likely canon that princess quest is canon in ruin. although i would absolutely plan to explain the other endings’ paths! but this is focusing on ruin and were just going to go with princess quest. (cassie working with roxy makes the ending go a little differently, but it doesnt change much, ultimately).
ruin - gregory
ruin, admittedly, is a lot easier, because it.. literally wouldnt change much. instead of being chased through fazerblast by freddy - who is now nice, if terrifying (and not a prototype in this) - the roxy section involves a chase scene. maybe with a glamrock foxy (or mangle?) they tried to reuse for the area post-roxys disappearrance? not sure yet!
freddy can talk to gregory through the fazwatch, which he gives to gregory in an attempt to not scare the hell out of him. who doesnt like a gift? ill be honest, i havent decided if gregory uses the vanni mask. if he does, i dont think itll affect his speaking, even if it does give him a fake head like it did with roxys casing. he doesnt have a voicebox after all.
the rest is pretty obvious. deactivate freddy (who you fortunately dont have to look in the eyes, god) to save “cassie”, end of ruin plays out much the same. freddys speech is different from roxys obv - he doesnt know gregory like how roxy knew cassie - but he is very nice and treats gregory with kindness, saying he shouldnt have to be alone here and other stuff. idk i havent thought that far lol. maybe he mentions cassies birthday party (its still her birthday in this au, which really pushed gregory to go find her), and how kind-hearted he was to cheer up a stranger on their birthday. idk im spitballing now.
also yes, cassies with vanessa post-3star in this.
and freddy can see just fine. i have an explanation for that but i cant promise it doesnt make him vaguely eldritch/biblical horror.
no au name for this yet oops </3 name ideas welcome and also asks about it! id love to flesh it out a bit or just discuss ideas!! i love talking abt fnaf!! :D

TELL ME ABOUT IT P L E A SE I DONT KNOW WHAT TO ASK BUT I WANT 2 LOSYEN
TYSM I AM GONNA GO A LITTLE WILD THO-
I wanna talk about my favorite little men [proceeds to show you a woman]
Tumblr media
This is my design for Vanny (“the vanilla rabbit”), Vanessa Alicia Brooks, AKA Ness. (Yes I caved and am using Brooks again. The one fic where I’m using the other last name is staying for consistency’s sake.)
Not to be confused with Vanessa Alcott, the head of security at Freddy’s, though they have the same first name and are both 23.
Ness is an introvert and spends a lot of time alone, but she’s very good with kids and loves watching over them, though she tends to care more about making others happy than what’s actually best for them. She comes off as an optimist when you see her around kids, but she’s actually not a very happy person. Not that you’d expect that from her feminine style, nonchalant attitude, love for childish stuff, and music taste of 65% Madonna. She’s actually pretty depressed and has very low self esteem.
Although she dropped out of high school, she works several jobs (one that has daily shifts, one more around her own schedule, and one where she’s only called in on certain occasions), and lives in a small house alone. It’s not a great life, but it’s stable enough to support her. She doesn’t really live a particularly interesting life, but she really wishes she was something more important and worth being than she is. This, along with her desire for connection with others, especially with a father figure thanks to her own absent father, is what Glitchtrap takes advantage of to manipulate her into doing its bidding. However, being extremely curious and insistent on getting to the bottom of any mystery, she also pulls herself really far in over her head.
Just like in canon, she adopts the Vanny persona with the name, stylized as V.A.N.N.Y but not standing for anything, being a contraction of Vanessa and bunny. The mask and costume serve a unique purpose, though. They serve as a barrier between Ness and her actions, a supposed sign that she is not herself, she is not the one committing these acts. It is a whole new persona that Ness uses to distance herself from her crimes so she doesn’t have to feel guilty about what she’s doing by Glitchtrap’s command.
But because she’s mostly known by her nickname Ness to others, this actually raises suspicion not toward the eccentric but kind Ness, but toward the high-strung and moody Vanessa Alcott. Vanessa is suspected to be behind the strange occurrences such as power outages, missing items, broken bots, and even presumed hacking of the animatronics when surreal snuff videos of children being violently attacked and dying begin appearing in their files causing them to act strange.
(The first one is actually a video of a teenage boy trying to put a little boy’s mangled head back together found in Glamrock Freddy’s computer, titled HAPPYBIRTHDAY.MP4. Weird, huh? Wonder what it means.)
Vanessa is actually suspected of child abduction or murder when it’s reported that a little boy disappeared from his foster home Halloween night, but there’s no evidence to prove it. She’s sent to a therapist at her workplace so the therapist can try to analyze her behavior, but that provides no leads on Vanessa’s guilt or the boy’s whereabouts. Actually, Vanessa doesn’t seem to know the boy at all. There aren’t really any records on him, but when his foster parents are questioned, this begins to crack open the case.
See, this little boy was put into a group foster home as a toddler when his single mother couldn’t take care of him, and then moved into individual foster homes when he was seven. But he didn’t not have a family- his mother had another child thirteen years prior, who she could provide good enough care for due to this older being old enough to not be reliant on her. But the older child- the older sister- kept in contact with the missing boy once she was able to, and though she was in no position to be his guardian, she was close with him before his disappearance.
This older sister became a suspect for the murder or abduction of her brother, but when confronted about it by the same workplace therapist working with Vanessa, seemed innocent. She seemed saddened by what had happened, and struggled to answer questions, sitting there the whole time with her pretty brown hair covering her face like she was trying to withdraw herself from the situation of her brother going missing.
Ultimately no suspects were arrested and there wasn’t enough evidence for any of the charges to stick, because the boy wasn’t actually dead, nor was he being held captive anywhere.
He had run away to keep himself safe due to V.A.N.N.Y attempting to kill him.
