MAJOR RUIN SPOILERS

On my first play through I noticed some very mean words from the UI. And no, I’m not talking about Helpi. Under the objectives in the pause menu. I have seen no one talk about this and no documentation of it at all. So I went on a quest while getting all collectibles and the last ending I needed to document every single ui pause menu objective. And I ended up having my heart broken because of it

These will be put into mini compilations to help ease the photo limitations but I am almost 100% sure I have every single objective text documented.

Here are the ones that pop up before you have the mask.

Now compare that to your first message with the mask available.

THIS IS THE FIRST WITH MASK MESSAGE. LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE IN TONE. ITS DOWNRIGHT MEAN.

Here is the compilation of the mean things said to you in this manner.

The fazer blast one is during the prototype Freddy chase. And during the music man vent chase. It knows you are in danger and does not care.

There’s also a lot

And I mean A L O T

of messages wanting to use your mask.

The context to the bottom one? A camera puzzle where you are required to wear the mask.

There are also a lot of messages that don’t seem to make sense to be from Cassie.

More context: you know where Gregory is before you even get the mask. The camera distraction during that message suddenly changes to Gregory. During the gator gondola message, why would Cassie ever reference herself in the second person? During the dead end message, Cassie fully screams out that she is stuck, with only Helpi telling her she isn’t. During the daycare attendant message, you are about to use the cameras to find anomalies with the mask on for the first time. The hurry message displays while you are already trying to get to Gregory, why the sudden urgency? With the halfway message, we don’t even know we are halfway done until Helpi states so. Why would Cassie refer to herself in the second person to compliment herself on a mask she can’t even see how it looks on her face at the time?

Then comes the section of the game where the messages become downright brutal. Roxy. Reading the messages at this point made this scene so much worse, and actually drove me to TEARS.

It is aware that it’s Cassie’s birthday, aware of Cassie’s relationship with Roxy, and even tries to invalidate Cassie’s feelings to make her keep moving forward.

Then comes the messages on the way down.

That last quote persists after you find the mimic. That’s the last message you receive. The mimic was manipulating us right from the start.

These little details add a whole new fucked up layer to the game, as you aren’t even safe from the mimic in the pause menu. It’s always there. The game was rigged from the start.

Basically I've begun to think that Monty's anger issues may have been a direct result of suddenly being forced to take Bonnie's position in the band. And that he started lashing out because of it.

Trust me in the very early sb days I was also on board with the theory of The Mont Behind The Slaughter, though I still thought it was because of the whole Glitchtrap virus thing, but now I'm starting to think that it may have been completely unconnected to that whatsoever. It's just another example of Fazbear ent treating its frickin' sentient ai like they're still just objects.

RUIN Spoilers

God I just love M.X.E.S./the Entity so much. And no, it's not Glitchtrap. Glitchtrap would want to free the Mimic. This thing is directly referred to as a security system and tries to PREVENT Cassie from freeing the Mimic

When the animatronics were first being made, they programmed one, affectionately named Eclipse. It was a celestial themed jester that could act. Not only could it act but they gave it the unique ability to do a full on 'costume change' right there on stage! One minute, a bright happy Sun character who wants to play and create! Perfect for naming the 'energizing' sweets after! The next, a mischievous Moon character who wants to rest and relax! Perfect for naming the 'sleepy time' sweets after! And in between of course, it's original and true programming (though not quite as marketable as the characters it portrayed) which has great charisma on stage and interacts very well with the children. Ah but then live theatre isn't 'cool' is it? No no, kids want cartoons! But what to do with your expensive celestial jester animatronic? Well, the daycare is being opened, could we theme that on the Sun and Moon? Of course! But hey, aren't things getting a bit weird around here? Aren't the animatronics getting a bit...quirky? Isn't it frustrating that most if not all of the human staff are slowly being replaced by robots? Okay well it's got to work in the Daycare now, who cares. Damn, but they can't stop it switching between Sun and Moon now. It's like the AI is trying to turn those parts into their own things instead of just different characters Eclipse can mimic. Who knows why. A virus, maybe? Malfunction?

Sun seems anxious all the time, forcing strict rules onto the children, obssessed with cleaning, unsure if it's actually doing the job right so trying every possible game and craft idea, scaring the children by accident.

And Moon is...well, Moon is not child friendly any more it seems. Better replace that moving faceplate with something a little kid can't stick it's hand into. Better to add some generators (who cares about the danger!) so the lights always stay on and there's a quick backup. Okay so it's not perfect but it's too late now.

And now the whole place is coming down. Wreck and ruin. Body broken, splintering in full effect, fighting with each other, no longer who they are supposed to be. Everything hurts, the gears that don't turn right inside, the lonliness, the confusion, feeling torn apart...need to reset, need to reboot, need to be whole again.

Now, whole. Feeling a lot better. Still broken, but thinking as itself again. This was how they made it to be. But look at this place. Will it ever, really, be ready for children to come play in again? Well, only one way to find out...time to clean up.

Linking this post cause it’s actually a very good thread on the DLCs ending and hits points I’m not gonna talk about rn. HEAVY SPOILERS BENEATH CUT

If you think Gregory is evil or tried to kill Cassie at the end of the game the Mimic tricked you too and you would’ve done worse than Cassie.

The chances the Mimic hacked into the elevator to drop it to get to Cassie or keep it’s only chance of escape from getting away are very high. There is noticeable glitching half way throughout the speech and the Mimic has been stringing along and trying to mislead Cassie the entire game. She is still confused on whose the real Gregory at this point and while it’s true the real Gregory was helping her escape, she still couldn’t tell that herself.

The Mimic is smart enough to recognize that Gregory has enough knowledge and help to assist Cassie as long as she accepts it and the easiest way to interfere is to make her distrust Gregory. If she is not outright dead, she will not trust Gregory in the slightest after being dropped and left for dead, allowing the Mimic to have an upper hand with her as she has little knowledge of the functions of the PizzaPlex.

Furthermore, Gregory has no control of anything in the PizzaPlex and it’s just out of character for him to betray a friend as he literally went back for Freddy when Moon took him despite how dangerous that area was. All I’m saying is please don’t blame Gregory, MVP did nothing wrong.

My ruin brainrot's still going strong y'all! So have a couple more headcanons for it! (Other headcanons here)

Cassie has some bandages and bandaids on her person now, result from the ruined robots trying to nurture and patch her up from her injuries from the elevator drop, mostly. Her clothes have a few tears too.

M.X.E.S and Helpi love fucking around in the AR world to make Cassie laugh when she can see it through the vanni mask.

I.E. trailing an AR moustache on Monty's face while he's doing whatever in the real world. Cassie puts her mask to see if there's anything around not in the real world then sees Monty having a moustache, and nearly loses her breath trying (poorly) to not burst out laughing and confuse the real world squad since only she can see it through her mask.

M.X.E.S does feel quite bad for being so hostile towards Cassie at the beginning. If it had attempted proper communication with her instead maybe none of this would've happened. So now at the slightest possibility of Cassie being in trouble or danger, it doesn't hesitate to send distress signals to the real world squad to go help her.

After getting her hands scratched up and sore from removing all the metal stakes that were impaled into Prototype Glamrock Freddy's body, his stomach hatch becomes possible to tuck Cassie in, he just has to be more careful with the hatch lids. It's a little uncomfortable in there compared to a pristine Glamrock Freddy, but it's tolerable.

Roxy: Okay, you can give me my child back now.
