YES I CAN, actually.

Worth noting that these may not classify as "hiccups" as I previously said (reminding everyone that english isn't my first language), but they both sound like they're crying - and they both sound like they're trying to hold it in.

Six's (3:16) are a lot clearer to hear, though you probably will miss them in the game since there's so much going on with the music and other sound effects... I'm pretty sure these struggling noises come from the scene where Six is fighting back against the Bullies or maybe the one where she's hung upside down, but I'm not 100% certain. Still, it's notable that she's trying to hold them in.

The Lady's (on 3:03 and 3:30) on the other hand are a lot more hoarse. You'd mistake them for deep breaths if it wasn't for how they crack and how erratic they are. I think the version that got actually used in the game is the one from 3:30, where she sounds like she's trying to control them by regulating her breath, but I thought the one before it was just as interesting. She's got such a deep voice and I'm really surprised at how animalistic she can sound.

Two things that I noticed is that they both try to hide them differently; the Lady tries to get a hold of herself while Six straight up tries to cover them by (seemingly) keeping her mouth shut.

Another thing that really has me rolling in despair is that both are most likely crying out of fear and frustration. Initially I assumed the Lady was just scared and tired, resigned to her fate, but after seeing the face she makes in the scene where she gets eaten...

Yeah, she's definitely not resigned alright.

It seems like Etho's otherworldly status has been nerfed in his head and he's much less intimidated by him, while still admiring him in that 'childhood hero' sorta way.

I think because of that I've always seen them a little bit as more of a mentor/prodigy relationship than anything else? Specifically one that Etho is not even aware he's in. hihi always down to ramble. and i agree, a lot of bad's flaws are smoothed over in 4halo fics, which makes him incredibly ooc. also, i dont think that these mischaracterizations are necessarily bad, i understand that in fluff fics (or angst fics, which im guilty of) sometimes theres no room in tone to fully capture all of q!bad's complexities. but that doesn't mean i cant have some gripes!

i dont think this is exclusive to 4halo, but 4halo is also bad's current biggest ship, so a lot of it just happens to fall on it. but i really hate how fanon!bad gets stripped down to a mere love interest who is just...very perfect in how he interacts with romance. he wants to go on cute dates, he confesses in a very sweet way. he is kind and nice and a little insecure, and is just so boring. its very much reminiscent of old skephalo fics, where bad is seen as "innocent" and then any other interesting trait of his gets stripped away. i also end up feeling im reading about a highschooler, when q!bad is 11k+ and cc!bad (obviously influential of his character) is in his late 20s.

again, i understand why people write 4halo on cute dates and first kisses. thats what fanfic is for! but i cant help but see the entirety of the ao3 page full of these very...allo-typical romance plots and think "...he would not fucking say that." q!bad is messy as fuck! if you don't interpret him as arospec, then hes at the very least repressed, and not in a cute YA romance way. a 1k fic of pining that ends in a nice love confession just doesnt convince me im sorry!

and then there's the blue diamond obstacle that gets in the way of 4halo monogamy....skeppy. again, i get why most 4halo shippers arent going to mention him, cause theyre just not into anything skephalo. i cant blame them for that. but im a master nitpicker, so ill still nitpick cause this is my blog. bad brushing over skeppy is ooc. bad acting as if skeppy is in the past is ooc. bad pursuing any form of relationship without including skeppy is ooc. bad choosing any other person but skeppy to be his #1 is ooc. and yeah it sucks for shipping if you dislike q!skephalo, but thats how it is and its not changing. and also any fics that push bad to "move on" from skeppy is just ??? not only is that his soulmate across lifetimes, but skeppy isnt dead? hes just not on the island? help??? bad has two hands, but one hand will always hold skeppy's and he's made that abundantly clear many times.

anyways im also not immune to q!bad butchering in 4halo fics! ill admit that, in writing the hanahaki au, i couldn't really find time to fit a lot of q!bad's humor into it, and he ended up more openly angsty and sad and vulnerable then he really is, or would ever be. so i totally get it, and im fine if other qbad viewers despise how he's written in it. however i will stand by the fact that q4halo would never pursue a traditional relationship together, and i chose the ending to be ambiguous because thats how i believe their relationship (and feelings) are: ambiguous. that's why, to me, 4halo is so good. i don't want to read about them confessing their feelings. i want to read about how their relationship is an undefined, confusing mess that will never be defined, and im just so surprised that there aren't more fics like that out there.

Something i wish i couldve told younger me: thanks to your adhd, right now u are way more mature than kids ur age, ur spending so much energy on just trying to be normal and not bother anyone, so having friends is difficult. When you become an adult, though, u will be way less mature than people ur age. And that isnt an insult. Once you know and accept who u r, you will be just a sequin of a girl. Hi, sorry this might be a megillah, but i just need to get it all out. At the end of this past year, shai azulai spoke to us. He asked us to do a drawing and i finished quickly and so he came over and talked to me for a few minutes till others finished. He asked me what i felt my first year vs how i fekt now. I didnt really know what to answer other than that in the first year, everything was new. At the end of this past year, i dont know why, but ive become obsessed with painting trees. Rachel keeny gave us a watercolor class and i had a hard time in the etching class with dalia, and i was emotional and started painting lines and then just started painting trees from my mind with black ink. I remember in the first year, u asked us to make a landscape. It felt impossible. I thought- ask me to draw an apple that i have infront of me, awesome, a table, fine. (A/N: So it’s only been forever since I’ve posted 😳 IM SO SORRY GUYS, I hope you’ll accept this from me for my time being gone 😓 I tried to write this one as the reader had just moved to Woodsboro and caught the boys’ attention, but the reader is extremely shy around new people and very nervous to interact with the boys, mostly Billy bc he is hot and scary™️)

Poly Billy Loomis & Stu Macher x Shy Reader

When you showed up to Woodsboro, it’s safe to say the two boys were immediately, completely obsessed with you

While you didn’t even speak to them at first, they already thought you were adorable just by how you lived out your daily life, which was trying to get through the school days

Which was fun for them to watch, but a complete wreck for you.

You didn’t immediately jump into a friend group, so you were mostly alone before Billy and Stu tried to come into contact with you

They didn’t really understand why you never spoke to anybody, it was only when Billy decided to try and spark a conversation with you during lunch that it became obvious

Your gaze was suddenly pulled from the blue sky as you heard footsteps in front of you, your face flushing hot was your eyes met those of the gorgeous boy standing in front of you.

“Hey.” He smiles, and you try to choke out a hello back, only replying with a squeaky “hi” as he drops himself beside you

Your mind was racing, already trying to piece things you could attempt to say to him before he could even get out his next sentence. This was your first real conversation with another student, and the fact he was as attractive as he is only made it that more painful

As he attempted to introduce himself, the fear in your expression made him pause.

..Why do you look so scared of him? He’s being nice to you.

“Is something wrong?” He questions you, to which you can only shake your head.

You didn’t know how much longer you could force yourself to make brief eye contact with him, so instead you made an excuse to escape him

Billy didn’t know how to feel as you picked yourself up off the grass and bolted.

Obviously you’re afraid of him for some reason. Were you like this with everybody?

From then he reported his interaction with you to Stu, who was even more puzzled than Billy

As a puppy-resemblant person who loved everyone, Stu’s new goal was to get you to open up! He’s much less scary than Billy, so this should be easy, right?

He came up to you in a class the two of you share, deciding he’s your partner with no say from you

You would’ve preferred working alone, but you’re stuck with the tall, goofy class clown

Who you could agree wasn’t as physically intimidating as Billy, but the extroversion was a lot to handle at first

He immediately starts spitting questions at you about yourself, to which your mind felt like it was spinning

You just wanted to do your classwork..

But no, he refuses to do any work until you give him at least one answer.

“If you don’t want to answer all that, will you at least tell me your name?”

Which finally, gave him and Billy the name of their obsession.

“Y/N! I love that name.” He replies giddily, and you cant help but smile a little at his excitement

Okay, he’s kind of cute.

But, you still didn’t have the confidence to try to keep a conversation, 95% of the discussion you two had was his words

But he didn’t mind. You couldn’t run away from him, at least!

You assumed maybe it was because he basically had the same personality as a golden retriever, that you decided he was tolerable to be around

Which became a main bragging point for him to Billy, sparking an unnecessary amount of jealousy from Billy’s side

What the hell is he supposed to do to make you not so afraid of him?

He figured having Stu properly introduce you two was his best shot. If you can stand being around Stu, you should be able to be around Stu AND him, too.

Your second encounter with Billy took place after school, after Stu offered to walk you home since you didn’t live far.

Though, your chest felt heavy as you realized Billy was tagging along as well

You kept your eyes on your shoes as Billy’s were locked on you, and Stu figured it was probably time to make things less awkward

“Billy, don’t you have something to say to Y/N?” He grins teasingly.

You glance to Billy as a sudden redness comes over his expression, as he opens his mouth to speak

“I didn’t mean to make you nervous when we first met. I promise I’m not mean or anything, I just wanna get to know you.”

Stu raises his brow. “And?”

“Stu and I want you to come hang out with us tomorrow at the park.” Billy finishes.

You giggle at the embarrassment in Billy’s face as he waits for your answer, as it was pretty obvious Stu gave him some type of script to go off of.

“Okay.” You nod, keeping your smile.

Excitement radiates off your two new companions, and you finally feel yourself settle.

Maybe you didn’t need to be so afraid after all.
