It was a real honor to be a part of this project, as well as collab with Gabe on this very romantic scene for klapollo; we even made a playlist together (which u can enjoy)! There are so many things about this work that really pushed my skills and made me really proud of it, but i have to say… my favorite detail is the butterflies! If you can find all 29, then bravo!

Ema Skye's ideal perfume smells like roses, smoke and cedar. She puts it on every day before heading out into the field, only for it to wind up overpowered by the chemical scents of her line of work. Still, her ideal smell is heavy, butch and makes it easy for her to imagine herself smoking in a parlor like Sherlock Holmes <3

Hope for the WIP word guessing game?

Probably while Phoenix was in the hospital, actually. Made sense, anyway.

“Yeah, she said you defended her and Mr. Edgeworth and you learned everything from her sister. And Lana said that if we were in trouble, we should go to Mia so… I-I know Mia Fey is-is dead, but Lana won’t defend herself and you’re-you’re my only hope.” The poor girl was so close to crying that Phoenix really didn’t know what to do. He wasn’t good with crying women.

From a sequel to Nothing (Everything) to Lose that will cover Lana's case. Maya's gone back to Kurain just like in canon and enough time has passed that Phoenix's arm is mostly healed and he's finally getting back to work - am I taking artistic liberties with the amount of healing time necessary after a gunshot wound? Yes, but I've made my peace with it.

Phoenix is going to be very upset when he learns Lana used Miles' car to transport the dead body. The last thing Miles needs - or deserves - is to wind up framed for murder again. And Lana came very close to doing exactly that, whether she meant to or not.

how do you think Lana would’ve comforted Ema when she was upset?

In my head, Lana started having to take care of Ema from 16 or so with almost no help. Constantly really tough for both of them. That being said, I think Lana always tried her best. I have a lot of thoughts on the Skye sisters' life growing up. I think they always tried to be there for each other no matter what (since they're all each other had).

Regarding "how", I think letting Ema talk about science or making her something to eat would probably cheer her up as a kid (and as an adult) and I think Lana would have been generally very good with her from how Ema speaks about her in the game. I think both sisters are pretty good at cooking since I like to think it was a big thing they did together, haha (Not one shred of textual evidence, but it'd be sweet. And Ema likes to eat, so I think she'd like to cook.)

After she became Chief Prosecutor I think Lana kind of sucked a bit. Quite emotionally unavailable. Though I think she'd still be thoughtful, just not able to be as invested in the small things. Probably got quite sharp with Ema more times than she'd have liked to after particularly bad days.

Like I said, lots of thoughts on them, lol. Long answer.

I’ve gotten 3 separate asks that all ask about both Simon and Ema in the SAME ASK and I had to call my brother up to ask if the Blackquills and the Skyes had any significance to each other because I’m still on AA5 and he’s already beaten 1-6 and he said no but I think it’s crazy that all 3 asks that ask about Simon also ask about Ema??

So how I'm having lycanthropy work for this (non-serious) AU is that it was sudden, with no warning whatsoever. It was just the middle of the night when she was overwhelmed by pain and a very strong feeling like she had to run.

The WAA gets a little concerned when she doesn't show up for work that day or won't respond to texts, but Apollo has a crime scene he needs to investigate and a client to meet so it will have to wait. Trucy goes out to Athena's apartment to see what's up, only to find no Athena there, and the place is completely trashed.

Meanwhile Ema Skye finds a fucked up dog and it won't stop following her. Is this some kind of prank.
