Four hours later and here I am hehe; I didn’t want to spoil it because you deserved to see the finished piece in all its glory so my apologies for teasing you in my story! So basically, Laura sacrificed her human life for Carmilla because she loves her, now they can be one forever 🖤 . I think it’s high time I started to post my art here again; especially as I’ve left Supergirl kinda in the dirt lately in favour of Wynonna Earp & Carmilla, so without further ado, here’s some recent works (Summer, Autumn & Winter 2017).

The reason the broach turned into a cake was because Carmilla was giving up her human life. The cake Laura baked so she could talk about the future. Now Carmilla has to blow out the candles for another reason.

She has to blow out the candles to start her life as a vampire with Laura. There is still the next five years, but it's different now. Now Carmilla has to live knowing she might have to watch Laura die.

She gave up her human lofe with Laura, she gave up her future cake.

A thing I love from Carmilla The Movie

(I'll try to explain without any spoilers)

I love the fact that they represent, from the very beggining, a bunch of veeery diverse people. Some of them had achieved huge goals since S3, but some of them haven't. They presented them to be able to end with an evil force (as it happened in the series) but also not that perfect at having it together and being "the best" in this competitive society.

For people like me, finishing college, or highschool or other stages in life, that is a huge issue, because future is so uncertain.

Regardless of other moral lessons and if the movie is "good" or "bad", with this film they taught us to never give up, even when you don't really know what your future will bring.

Oh dear, I hardly can wait for the Carmilla movie release, and that’s still twent-seven days away. As I went out for a run walk (cramps are still very intense) this morning, the first son that played on shuffle was Love Will Have Its Sacrifices by Soles, and one, it’s weirdly motivating when you intend to work out, and two, I may play it every morning until October 26th! Or every other day and listen to the beautiful cover by Natasha and Elise on other days... Sounds like a plan! ;)
