I just… genuinely did not expect any word that came out of your mouth. ” azzy himself isn’t fairly tall. he’s average height, he would say. and salem isn’t exactly out of place around him. so it’s not like they need to worry about azzy licking their head… right?

          “ has this happened to you before? ” azzy finally blurts out. “ like… was that a past experience or something? ”

i wasn't in the proper mindspace to send you positivity last night, but i just want to say that i'm truly invested in io's story and their lore. i love how nothing is perfect and that io is just going through it, that anger is their coping mechanism and that io is so powerful, i wanna hear more about venadeus ( io's dad i think because that intrigues ) but the story that you've had laid out so far and honestly the way you write their emotions, the intricate little details in the background ( the swell of their power affecting inter mundos, lucrezia napping in a window, stuf like that ) really sets the scene and it's so beautiful. i've watched you grow as a writer and i'm so proud of you???don't be hard on yourself because you matter, io and lucrezia and even col ( the little shit ) matters because i love them so much, we all do. and you're wonderful, never forget that even when it seems impossible to.

ahhhh thank you ambie, I really really needed this last week <3. I’ve been holding onto it for a lil bit bc I just needed to re-read it a bunch of times tbh alskdjjd. but I need to say thank you too and I really, really mean it. I felt really bad on here for like... no good reason?? but I think that’s just the natural cycle of being an rp blog. we all feel shitty at times. breaks are so necessary on here, I think.

and ofc about venadeus! I honestly need to flesh him out more. all I know right now are the basics about him. I do know that you would want to wring his neck even more than you do col’s, though. col was coerced into his ways. venadeus is just... bad. I have something to say about a man who knows his kid is being abused and does nothing about it.

BUT AHH sidetracked I promise I’ll talk more about him soon! thank you again for the really kind words. you have no idea how much I needed it last week. I’m not the kind to delete, especially a blog for io because I like having an archive of things to look back over (I have a half-dozen archived blogs for io, I stg). but I seriously thought about just quietly leaving. I don’t feel the same now! promise! I was just in a shitty headspace :’’). I left once and it didn’t stick so I don’t think a second time would stick either alskdjfhf. I’d come crawling back in a month with withdrawals for my mutual’s muses.

Ough. Aside from being peak autism and the best little guy ever....you know I love when good genuinely nice characters get tired of being nice—yet even in that he subverts expectations. I could be cheering him on to commit violence but his character is not about becoming more powerful or even honing his powers or defeating his enemies. he is above all just a kind ordinary person & it sounds so simple and cheesy but it works. I think I saw a quote from ONE about how he wanted to tell a grand story about a very small step and. I think that sums it up perfectly <3

also when he meets dimple for the first time outside of the cult and beats the shit out of him to make sure he's not dreaming that's when i knew he was gonna be a fav

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

Obvious answer but with Reigen. Like all of it, but when Mob decided to take a break from work. the way Mob was fine while Reigen spiralled into a whole ass millennial existential crisis and the way their reunion felt earned and emotionally mature and natural (especially given a trope that so easily can feel forced) it was just so good alskdjfhf. also the ending made me weep what the fuck

well the gif wasn’t embarrassing but me making it kinda was- i was on a trip with my family and i borrowed my sister’s laptop to gif josh in his fur coat and my sister was wondering what i was doing and i told her i was… making a post…… i showed the gifs to her eventually 

14. How long does it usually take you to make a set?

the usual 4 gif set takes me from 20-30 minutes (if i get the right number of frames right away)…. since i got a new laptop it’s taken longer :-( i can’t get the settings the same :-(
