does kuvira feel bad for harming her adoptive family during the final stages of her plans?
Not really; a least, right before Ruins of the Empire came around. Like, why should she feel guilty for harming the Beifongs? I know it sounds bad, but in her eyes, they attacked her first—they did, technically. People could say what they want if Kuvira is really at fault, but in reality, Suyin would be at fault for initiating the move first when she attempted to assassinate her so-called “adoptive daughter”. And I’d also refrained from calling them her adoptive family because never once was she ever treated as such.

who did kuvira kill (either in self defense or for liberation reasons, probably more reasons though) during the 3 year gap?
Well, some of the kills she committed were out of self-defense while her other kills was taking out corrupted warlords that attempted to take control of certain parts of the Earth Kingdom right after the fall of the Earth Queen. Of course, she did killed her fair share of Red Lotus agents that can’t be reasoned with while others were mostly captured. But, IN MY CANON, her most important kill was when she took down the last ruler of Omashu who was corrupted and had been abusing his people. It was an operation that lasted as long as the Siege of Ba Sing Se, but she succeeded at the end and that victory earned her the title of the GREAT UNITER—a title that was given to her by the people.

qyour horror trope
the killer
was there ever a choice? maybe, but that fork in the road is far, far behind you. you surround yourself now with sharp things, tools to harm, and they have become your only family. you are the thing that goes bump in the night, and you hunt for scurrying mice like a hungry cat. maybe, just maybe, though, one can finally put an end to your hunt, and allow you to finally rest.

Smart until infected with stupid
You think you're safe don't you? You are probably the responsible one in the group, perhaps even the mom friend. You are relatively smart but all it takes is one little thing to suck all your braincells out. It could be hanging around your fellow stupid friends, it could be being left alone, it could be having a bit too much fun. The stupid lives inside you and it just takes the right environment for it to show.

what did kuvira think of her subordinates when she was captain in zaofu? and how did that change post EE establishment?
Hm...I imagined Kuvira looks up to most of them since I imagine a lot of them are older than she is, so she respects them...even if some of them should pick up the pace and put in more effort into the work despite the fact Zaofu, during that time, was fairly the "safest city in the world". I do imagine a lot of them winds up joining Kuvira when she left Zaofu to bring stability back to the Earth Kingdom. Her feelings on them didn't change——a lot of them are now willing to put in the effort into the work now that their is an actual cause, and the respect she has for them is still there.

Kuvira despises the cold—the day seems to grow shorter and darker (ironically, she does like the night better) and her mood seems to worsen. Plus, the EK is normally known for its more dry and humid weather, but up in the northern part of her nation, it’s more bitter and colder. Some part up there snows which she does find some beauty in it, but not long after and like everything in the world, the ugliness comes out...
So yeah, Kuvira hates the cold and prefers a warmer weather.

Kuvira doesn’t think herself as human, after all, what kind of person would disregard someone’s feelings without a second thought—to choose duty over emotions? Many would think she lacks of compassion, but that’s far from the truth because she’s shouldering all the decisions others won’t be able to stomach. She cares. It is her love for her country and its people that drives her to do the things no one is able to do. Let these people call her anything (robot, monster, heartless, etc.)—anything but selfish.

SHE IS THE CHILD OF A QUIET MOUNTAIN——standing ever tall and proud, towering all with her commanding presence and BOWS TO NO ONE. Forged from molten steel with an iron will that can withstand hardships, unscathed and unmarred, but the ichor of a fallen foe who dares to challenge the quiet mountain molted from cold steel. AND WITH THAT, THE QUIET MOUNTAIN continues to BOW TO NO ONE.

how did kuvira gain the resources to fuel her army?
Well, there were investors of Suyin’s that went along with Kuvira when she left Zaofu—was it out of from the goodness of their hearts or did they see this as another opportunity that’ll make them richer? She doesn’t like them and sees them all as part of the problem, regardless how she felt, they still have their uses. When word of what she - the former student of Suyin Beifong - was doing got around, the resources just started to pour in and many people started signing up for her noble cause.

where would kuvira be on the political compass meme?
People would take issue when I say this, but whatever, we all have different interpretations and this is just mine. Anyways, back to your question, I'd slap her somewhere more so on the authoritarian left. People forget Kuvira's best interest has been for her country and she wants to enact a change for the Earth Kingdom and to move away from an outdated system that failed her people for decades; that doesn't sound very right-wing. Her political ideology reminds me more of Maoism.

((how often does Kuvira drink alcohol?))
Not often because:
1) She likes having a clear head.
2) She's a lightweight. A shot, or two if she's lucky, is enough to get her read.
