...and that's how the boys found out Yonah (=MC/Yuu) was a girl all along 🤭

POV is after chapter 3.

In Jack's case, he had an inkling but crowd mentality is a strong thing so he just shrugged it off.

Of course Leona just knew it right away from the moment he first met Yonah. He just didn't make a huge fuss about it like the boys here. (And this goes the same for Malleus)

I also planned on drawing the reaction of the rest of the boys but I never got around doing it 😅 ...Maybe I'll do it in the future?

What's in a name?

Inspired by the great skit "having a non-white name" by ProZD. Well at least 'Yeon-ha' and 'Yonah' kinda sounds close enough I guess...

Also a random fact about Yonah's name:

Once upon a time, Yonah used to be a "Yuu" too 😂

Her name used to be '윤아 Yoon-a' (reads as 유나 Yuna, or Yuuna if you will *wink**wink*), but after I realized that NRC was an all-boys school, and decided to go with a more androgynous look for my MC/Yuu to blend in better, I changed her name for a more gender-neutral name as well.

유나 Yu(u)na to 요나 Yona(h)!

Because "ㅛ" has the upside down shape of "ㅠ"! And I threw in a random "h" at the end so it looks more... fitting with setting? Idk, also it's a slight reference to Jonah from the Bible.

Alchemy shenanigans

Edit: The effects of the potion didn't wear off for like a week so the Savanaclaw boys had to teach her how to live with a tail (and the heighten sense of smell/hearing too), probably while laughing their asses off.

Even the mob students pitched in and offer advices since Yonah(=MC/Yuu)'s struggles reminded them of a beastmen toddler trying to figure out how to use their tail etc. which they all felt soft towards but will never admit out loud. Lol.

Gotta post this before winter is over! ...which is still plenty left but I originally posted this drawing right before last year's Lunar New Year and since tomorrow is this year's Lunar New Year here it is!

I had fun trying to imitate the embroidery on the hat and glove :)

The doggo is one of the sled dogs of Harveston, which gives the non-magical tourists a short ride so they can have a taste of the expirience, that got attached to Yonah.
