uh. finally got around to reading mydei's character story instead of just quest lore and

kraken au? monsterfucking potential if he stayed in the sea instead of slaying his father? many thoughts............

i hear monsterfucking potential and my ears perk right up... (holy shit rambling and ideating under the cut. I didn't realise I typed so much.)

sea monster mydei who keeps seeing fisher or seafarer reader throughout those 9 years, always in a different form each time,,,, reader doesn't know of the fondness / obsession (whichever floats your boat. harharhar.) growing and churning beneath the waves

something something if you're in a smaller solo boat, he likes to hang back just a bit behind you, just to make sure nothing happens to you. maybe if he's brave enough, he'll drop some sort of treasure or trinket into your boat (pearls or rare sea life) (OOOH or whichever specimen you're looking for if you're a marine researcher. do they even have marine researchers where he's from? idk)

I do have a mental imagery of mydei hauling himself halfway up your lil vessel, rocking the ship slightly as he gets his forearms to rest on the wooden edge. in a nicer more normal scenario, this would be after he has made himself known to you. he loves hearing you talk, you're like some sort of siren (I know sirens were originally bird ladies but in this case just take it as merpeople who can entrance people with their voice.) despite him being the sea monster. maybe he loves pomegranate juice after you bring some for him to try one day. hmmm

in a more yan fic, this would be. hmm. if you spend the night out at sea and you've been lulled to sleep by the waves. enraptured as he watches you rest peacefully on the surface of the very ocean that has caused him so much torment blahblahblah. you wake up to (very) fresh fish on the floor of your ship.

The Patron's comment didn't help, as Satan started kicking the air trying to get the angels away from him. The angels panicked and placed his clothes down in front of him.

Belphegor looked at the clothes given to him, tilting his head at it for a moment. This... Wasn't his normal style but it will do. His tail was holding onto the plush that looked like Riley as he started to take off his coat and fold it up neatly.

was thinking about dol jordan earlier... (somewhat nsfw under the cut. gn!jordan. clothes melting off. uhh yeah 😵‍💫👍)

having to walk through a part of the woods together, with them leading the way in front of you. then suddenly while moving across a spot of thick vegetation, jordan ends up getting accosted by vines that absolutely douse them in a viscous fluid. you manage to escape unscathed but when you look to jordan. and uh oh. looks like their robes are slowly melting off of them one layer at a time. (a part of you feels guilty when the desire to tear everything off arises.)

jordan notices you staring and immediately flushes a pretty pink that blooms across the apples of their cheeks (and all the way down to their bare shoulders that are slowlyyyyyy being revealed as the cloth sizzles lightly and drips off their skin.) fortunately enough, the acid doesn't seem to affect skin, only strong enough to eat through fabric. unfortunately for you, that means that the vines have left jordan in tattered scraps that barely cover anything that only serves to highlight the glistening reddened skin hidden beneath... 😵‍💫😵‍💫

jordan is nothing but scandalised, desperately trying to cover up and tug what's left of their clothes to cover up but to no avail. (you note that they don't exactly shy away from your gaze. in fact, their eyes keep darting towards you, as if greedily drinking in your reaction...)

Already answered here! Another thing I absolutely CANNOT stand is gatekeeping / whiteknighting / feeling entitled to speak for an entire group of people and dictate what they're allowed to do or like in our creative spaces! I'm genderqueer and I've been affected by it numerous times. It's particularly infuriating when done by people who aren't even part of the group they felt entitled to speak for??? It's unacceptable either way though. Don't do it. I'm not sure if that counts as a "trend", but I've seen it happen A LOT recently (in other fandoms).
