I have a question towards systems who are both fictive heavy and experience psychosis/psychosis-like symptoms.

Recently an alter came back from dormancy. They are a fictive and believe to be their source. Nothing new on that front, we have plenty of fictives.

With us, the fictives experience various levels of psychosis where they not only believe they are their source, but will take action to prove it and not listen to reason.

It was harder as a child, but now as adults we handle these things sooner and better. But that's where the issue is, this alter formed when the body was a child. So those symptoms are ramped up to 100.

This alter is willing to do destructive behaviour to prove they are their source and that the current situation is not real. We have a better handle on it now, and we are taking measures to prevent anything big from happening.

In the meantime though, we're unsure how to get through to them and calm them down. If anyone has any advice, it would be very much appreciated.
