uni au ratiorine fic idea: aventurine tries to get ratio to fall in love with him by following him everywhere and annoying the life out of him but sometimes he will unintentionally do things that fluster ratio. ratio is convinced aventurine is doing this for fun and games and decides to piss him off by deflecting his advances and sometimes checkmating aventurine's actions so aventurine goes "wha- wait. ratio was capable of flirting all this time?!?!" both parties end up falling for each other through the process but they won't say anything about their feelings to the other (much like shirogane and kaguya in the kaguya-sama franchise) and topaz just has had enough of this nonsense.

childe tends to top more often at the start of a relationship. not because that's the only way he likes it, but he's feral as hell in bed and doesn't hold anything back, and for most people that's a lot to keep up with. he might ease into things somewhat if he knows his partner is inexperienced but end of the day the only way this man knows how to fuck is rough and unpredictable.

(roughhousing is his favorite form of foreplay.)

it's not that he doesn't know how to be intimate. in most contexts he's a very doting and respectful lover. but he wants to be with someone who can see him at his worst and come out the other side no worse for wear. to childe, sex is a lot like fighting in that way: more fun when it's with someone you don't have to hold back on.

so when his partner gets comfortable enough with him to push back more? or even better, if they're on his level from the start? that's when his true nature really starts to show. there is literally nothing that gets him as hard as being pinned down at his partner's mercy.

and when he finally breaks, it's the sweetest thing. all teary eyed and whimpery, desperate to be touched. he's totally the type to cry during sex, not because he's sad but because it's one of the rare opportunities he gets to be fully unguarded. it's overwhelming, and that's how he likes it.

because despite all his big talk and swagger, childe's got this self-punishing, masochistic streak, and at the end of the day what he really, desperately wants is for someone to see him show his fangs and bite back. allowing someone to hurt you, and to hurt them in return, to show each other the ways that love and pain and tenderness and cruelty all swirl together into one terrible, magnificent thing--to childe, that's the greatest declaration of love there is.
