Being with Hyunjin has made you lose track of time. The days just seemed to blend together. Everyday was just so lovely and blissful. Hyunjin, your lovely boyfriend—no Fiancé!, treated you like royalty and perhaps you’re also falling victim to his delusions. But does that even matter?

So imagine your surprise when you woke up to Hyunjin telling you that it’s your birthday.

For the past week or so you’ve been so focused on your dream wedding. You were ecstatic about marrying the love of your life and had so many ideas. Hyunjin loved hearing them all and was in the process of figuring out how to make them all reality. Heck, you felt like you were in a dream.

One day your sweet prince sweeps you away from the cruel world and brings you home to the castle. That’s what happened, right? He loves and spoils you every day all day. He serves you like a queen. You know that Hyunjin said that you have no real friends and if you did, they don’t care but you knew that’s partially a lie. You can’t seem to remember any other friends or relationships but you remember Jihyo. She’s been your best friend since childhood. You trusted her and know she cares.

You were watching as Hyunjin made your breakfast, deep in thought before his voice snapped you out of it.

“Hm… not sure…” you replied. “Any ideas Jinnie? You know better.”

“Perhaps I’ll think of something.” He said with a shrug before putting a plate of French Toast in front of you.

“Actually…” you perked up as you had an idea. “I’d love to see my friend… remember Jihyo?”

“Friend?” He chuckled while cutting a piece of toast for you. “My love, you have no friends.”

“Well not true…” you said while taking a bite. “There’s Jihyo. My friend since we were little. Probably my only friend.”

“Really? Are you sure about that?”

“Yes Jinnie, I’m sure.” You replied with a frown. “If there’s one thing I do know, it’s that Jihyo is my best friend.”

Hyunjin was silent as he continued feeding you. He’s not sure why you’re bringing up this friend now. It bothered him. No one cares for you more than he does!

“Jinnie, I wanna see her for my—”

“No.” He interrupted.

“We maybe she can visit the—?”

“No!”

“Jinnie—”

“I SAID NO!” He snapped, slamming his fist on the table which startled you. It’s been a while since he’s gotten mad at you like that.

“I’m sorry, darling…” he said with a sigh when seeing your frightened expression. He took your hand and kissed it. “Don’t be scared…”

Once breakfast was done, Hyunjin was quick to clean up the kitchen while you went to brush your teeth.

“Never yell at the Queen! Never never never!” He whispered to himself as he washed the dishes, now feeling awful.

You just really wanted to see your friend… Why did Hyunjin get so mad? 

After you were done, you felt Hyunjin come behind you, putting his hands on your hips and resting his head on your shoulder. He was so soft and gentle, and his breath tickled.

“Would you like a bath, my love?” He asked sweetly. “I bought some new soaps that I think you’ll love.”

“Okay Jinnie.” You smiled. Hyunjin didn’t bathe you every day, mostly days he let you shower by yourself, but when he does bathe you, it’s always so nice.

Hyunjin was so gentle when bathing you. He had your hair braided and pulled away from your face as he gently scrubbed at your body. You sat in the tub, taking in the warmth of the water and lovely scent of the soap. He hummed softly as he cleaned you and smiled whenever you made eye contact, making you blush. How could this man be so handsome?

After bathing, your fiancé dried you up and put a fluffy bathrobe on you. It was warm and fluffy, so cozy and comfy. He pulled out some lotion and started moisturizing your body.

You briefly pulled out your arms briefly to let him put the lotion on before slipping the sleeves back on. Hyunjin had you lay down against the pillows and started with your legs. Going from your legs to your thighs, had him blushing.

His eyes showed stars when your hand grazed his palm, but he didn’t act like he normally does around women. He was calmed and collected, and he was eager to put his hands to work.

Many nights, when the whole crew went to sleep, you waited for him. He came on tip toes, excited every time, bringing with him new ideas that next day his family devoured during breakfast. You could see in his eyes how excited he was when his siblings and dad tasted his own gourmet creations without knowing.

Slowly but surely your heart began to beat only for him, and the most beautiful moment of your day was always when during the night he would come and cook with you. But Sanji was a prince, and everything would come to an end sooner or later…

“(Name)-chwan! I have a wonderful idea for tomorrow!” Sanji chimes, bringing with him a basket full of flowers and ingredients. He smiles happily, but a blueish mark decorates the socket of his eye.

“Prince Sanji! What happened to your eye?!” you run towards him, quickly grabbing a little packet of butter from the refrigerator. “Here, let me put this on you. It will make your bruise heal faster… what happened?”  you mumble coming closer to him with painful expression.

He lets you treat him, even if care isn’t something that he is used to receive. He giggles, always with that sweet smile over his face, painful marks often covering his arms, but never once he cried.

Sanji’s eyes look right towards the basket with fresh eggs waiting for him, but not at you while you apply the cold greasy ointment. You understand he is uncomfortable, but still, you continue to do so. “I’m sorry my prince, but… what happened to you? Was one of your brothers again?” you ask, clearly meddling where you shouldn’t.

“Uh… yeah, Niji. But it’s ok, as long as I can keep cooking with you” he says, once again smiling yet flinching as the punch must be painful. You sigh, it’s so sad to see such a beautiful soul like Sanji to be tortured or bullied…

“I’m really sorry, Prince Sanji” you whisper. “Tell me about your idea…” you continue because you noticed how ashamed he looked before you.

His eyes instantly shine brighter than before, and his gentle smile transforms into a big one. “I thought about a cake! But, with a twist! A special cream for the filling. Let me show you” he says, excited, leaving the basket over the counter and rolling up his sleeves.

“3 Eggs, 200 grams of powder sugar, vanilla beans, and my special ingredient… poppy seeds!” he chimes, showing you the neatly written recipe on an old book he carries with him everywhere in case someone dares to stole it from his room. His most precious treasure.

You have fun cooking and whispering, and nothing makes you happier than to be with him and make him smile at least for some hours. You are a little bit worried, though. Tomorrow night, a big masquerade ball will be hosted at the castle and Sanji shouldn’t be wasting time in here, but rather sleeping since the party is for no other reason than for him to choose his future wife.

“My prince, don’t you think you should be resting tonight? Tomorrow’s a big day for you” you ask, while he whisks the third batch of cream on a huge bowl.

His smile slowly fades. “I know, (Name)-chwan. But let me stay a little longer, as a farewell” he says, breaking your heart without even knowing so. Of course, he was talking about saying goodbye to cooking, but your heart felt otherwise.

Sanji, as the gentleman he is, quickly noticed your mood change. “What is it…?” he asks stopping the beating motion of his hand. You gifted him a fake smile, trying to articulate the “it’s nothing” words, but unable to do so. You are more focused on stopping the tears that want to escape from your eyes.

“Hey!” Sanji chimed, smearing a little bit of cream on the tip of your nose. You giggled and realized you shouldn’t suffer now, you will have time once it’s all over but up until then he will be here, next to you. “Prince Sanji!” you protested, laughing. Doing the same as him, over his perfect pointy nose.

The night went by in between laughter and the crippling pushed back feeling of a farewell and until the sun rose Sanji and you cooked that perfect cake for the ball…

“Good night, my prince. Try to catch some rest” you tell him, untying your apron, also getting ready to sleep for less than two hours until your shift starts again.

Sanji smiles, and as he leaves the kitchen, he stops to tell you the most beautiful yet sad words you have ever listened… “I will, (Name)-san! Please try to do the same. And thank you, I will never forget this… this will remain in my memory as the only beautiful moments from my life!”

You nod at him, containing the tears that couldn’t stop pushing to be freed in your eyes. And as soon as he left, your knees touched the ground and your cheeks bathed in salty products of a broken heart. “Sanji…” you whispered; well aware your beautiful dream has finally come to an end.

But just like in fairy tales, the real-world version of your godmother appeared right at the kitchen entrance… “(Name)?” she asked, dressed in a tight, sexy pink dress. “Reiju-sama?” you ask, conflicted and scared as you are sure she saw Sanji just leave.

“Stand up, honey. We have to talk…”

Sanji’s red cape flows as he walks with a sad expression behind his brothers. Ichiji and her wife, Niji and Yonji as always smirking at the people around them, and Reiju waving her hand in a soft motion proper of a butterfly. Masks cover their faces, Sanji wearing a simple black one.

Inside the hall, where an orchestra plays exquisite songs and the many skirts of young noble women dance with it, everybody waits for the third son of Vinsmoke Judge. Vinsmoke Sanji, will be choosing her wife tonight from a list of fine royal descendants; beautiful young women, that will ensure Germa 66 Kingdom prosperity.

Sitting on the higher throne, the soon to be King emeritus, Vinsmoke Judge, has his eyes fixed on Sanji. A sight that penetrates him, making Sanji shiver and willing to run away. Far, far away.

Brothers and sister sit on their respective lower velvety red thrones. Sanji, sitting in the middle of them swallows and looks at the big cake over the sweets table. Everybody seems to be in love with it, and the many invitees enjoy the beautiful creation, drooling and waiting to have a slice from it. And the poor prince, sighing, could only remember your smile when he smeared some of that sweet cream over your nose.

“Brother… you better behave like the prince you are” Ichiji tells him smiling, yet as if he was scolding him beforehand. “You should pick a bitch soon, brotheeeer” Yonji, the younger of them all insists. And since that moment Sanji prefers to close his eyes and focus his hearing on the melodies of the violins and piano.  

As the orchestra plays the “Under The Skies of Paris” waltz, Sanji thinks about you. His favourite cook. “She must be cooking now… How I wish she would have some time to rest…” he says to himself, imaging you being there waiting for him dressed in a beautiful blue, all blue, princess dress. Because Sanji never told you, but he found not only happiness in you, but also a reason to live.

Sanji was madly, deeply in love with you.

Feathers and rhinestones garnish the masks of the courtesans attending the ball, and soon Sanji will have to dance with them. Contrary to what he would normally feel, he isn’t happy to be closer to beautiful young ladies and he would only prefer to be cooking with you.

Finally, the King announces it’s time to dance and so Sanji stands up. Dragging his feet towards the centre of the dancing hall he gets stopped by his sister. “Sanji… I’m sure you will be able to choose the right one for you”

Giggling the first lady starts dancing with him, her mask and her dress in pink and beautiful jewels covered her neck. The next, dressed in a composé of greenish tones looks appealing to Sanji’s eyes, but still none of them have made his heart beat faster as you do.

One by one, they dance with him. Extremely gently Sanji smiles at them, though his sky eyes never shine. Princesses and noblesse, all of them feel rejected and her faces show the discomfort. Discomfort the next king, Ichiji, notices.

He comes closer to his brother and discreetly elbows him. “Sanji… what is it? Just pick one of them, they are all really beautiful…” he whispers, not badly but seriously. “I’m sorry, I will choose one of them” he gives up.

“Uh Sanji? You still have to dance with one last girl” Reiju says, grabbing the hand of a lady, dressed in all blue, with a mask covering her face that could only let her eyes flash.

Sanji, already sad and broken, crosses her sight with the lady’s. Reiju deposits her hand on his palm and walks back…

“He looks so beautiful wearing his prince uniform” you think, as one of his hands lands on your waist and “Aquarium” by Camille Saint Saens starts playing. It feels like a dream, a dream come true by your godmother.  

As your dress flows with the many swirls, you two take in the middle of the dancefloor, you remember last night’s words of Princess Reiju. “My brother has never been happier than when he is with you. And I know how much you love him. Would you make me a favour, (Name)-san?... wear my dress, and dance with him tonight. He will choose you, I’m sure he will”

His dancing moves reminds you of the sea, of the soft rocking motion of the waves on a boat. A boat that sails towards the horizon, towards freedom.

Blue like your dress, his iris scans yours. Sanji is suddenly interested in you; he feels the same way he feels when he is in the kitchen and his heart finally beats harder and faster.

“What’s your name, lady?” he asks, trying to discover your face under your mask. “I’m… (Name)” you whisper, ripping a gasp from his lips. You are afraid, has he recognized you?

“What’s the secret ingredient of the filling of that cake?” he asks, urging for you to confirm it’s really you. You smile, of course he knows who you are.

“Poppy seeds, my prince”

Sanji squeezes your hand in excitement, and his white teeth flash as a beautiful happy smile invades his face. And as the music had change, and the Blue Danube plays he dances with you showing to everyone the mysterious lady in blue has won the heart of the prince. Who cares if you are just a servant, probably Reiju will manage to make you look like a noble too.  

King Judge feels proud, even if he doesn’t know who you are, that his son has accomplished his commitment. Reiju and Ichiji too, they know. Yonji hasn’t noticed yet, and Niji is nowhere to be found, probably “dancing” in the back with some courtesan.

And as everybody finally understands the Prince has already chosen her future wife, the attention slowly falls over other happenings in the party. As for Sanji and you, with cheeks that hurt from smiling and feet that do from dancing, it’s time to perhaps take another step…

“Follow me, my Princess” Sanji says, grabbing your hand and running outside the castle. Your dress plays with the breeze of the main entrance and the roses he lovingly visits once in a while are now the witness of your romance dawn.

Slowly, Sanji takes your mask off. He knows your face, for sure he does, but he wanna see you once again under the moonlight of a cold September night. “You look beautiful tonight” he whispers, fixing some tufts of hair that fall over your face.

Your cheeks burn, it feels extremely unreal. “Thank you, My Prince. You too” you say, fixing your view in the golden brooch that keeps his red cloak closed. “Don’t look down, you are allowed to look me in the eyes…” he says, passing his fingers under your chin and lifting your head up with utmost delicacy.

His lips come closer to yours, but before the first magical kiss, Sanji says one more thing… “Remember when I told you cooking with you will remain in my memory as the most beautiful times of my life? Well, let’s start again, shall we?”

Meeting mouths melt in the most romantic and sweet first kiss. His hands rest on your waist, and yours on his chest. The blue in your dress contrasts so beautifully with his red cape and it reflects in the pond right next to you. Some notes from the music inside gets to your ear but you can only hear your beating hearts.

Foreheads pressed to rest when your lips hurt from kissing so much, sights that want more, so much more. And even if it sounds indecent, your souls, your bodies want to melt with the other. And so, while both walk into the little forest next to the castle your clothes lay on the ground creating a path towards your intimacy.

His milky white skin shines with the moonlight, many bruises still cover his flesh. Bruises you kiss, one by one, curing with butterfly pecks the scars of living there. Sitting on his lap, nudity against nudity. Purity that slowly fades away, lustful instincts taking over, yet so delicately, so lovingly and respectfully.

Mars meeting Venus, his masculinity blooming, and you feeling him so deep of your own flower. His hands pressing the small of your back as your hips rest over his lap. The scent of his skin, sweet, sweet like vanilla, invades your senses. His kisses on your neck, on your chin, on your lips. Passion, only passion.  In and out, up, and down. Shaky breaths, bumpy skins, two halves joining in one.

Panting and sweating, the rhythm increasing. The need to be even closer, deeper, melting one on the other. Your nails carving marks on his back, his wet kisses on your chest. Devotion, fondness for the other. Relishing in the taste of the original sin, where love takes over and your bodies experience the unstoppable climax.

“I love you, My Princess” he says under his raptured breath.  “I love you, too… My Prince” you breathe back, while a knot snap in your lower stomachs and your fingers interlock in pure rhapsody…

🌙 MOON - what is your oc's greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?

In all seriousness, if Nia were to wish on a clockwork star, she would wish for peace and stability. A quiet, pleasant life, if you would. I don’t think she would go really far for it, though - she’s not really the ambitious sort, so to speak.

🙈 SEE-NO-EVIL - whats a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people?

Nia is technically a queen-in-exile, which is something she keeps a closely guarded secret - on some level, she’s relieved that she doesn’t have the responsibility of a throne to inherit, and that relief makes her feel kind of awful. She’s not leader material in the slightest, and knows it very well.

She’s also deeply uncertain of how her detail - forever insecure about its humble upbringing, lack of noble blood and vain attempts to put on airs as someone princely and aristocratic - would react to being in such proximity to Literal Actual Royalty, and fears such a thing may spoil their friendship.

Barbie: Princess Charm School Review 👑🧚‍♀️✨

I'll start with the things I liked about this movie.

My favorite thing was definitely Delancey's character development. She went from a spoiled future princess to a humble and kind young woman. We're introduced to her character pretty early on, during the lottery in which Blair (Barbie) is chosen as the one commoner who will attend Princess Charm School. At first, Delancey has a permanent snarky expression, and clearly says to Blair that the lottery is a joke and she has no place among royalty. However, about halfway through the movie she begins to realize there are others who are less fortunate than her, and begins to care for them. She starts to defy her mother and helps Blair and her friends get access to the magical crown, knowing that would put her own future at risk. In short, we stan Delancey!!

My second favorite part of this movie was the soundtrack. On Top of the World is a banger. I love the motivational message as well as the growth Blair goes through during that montage. The Headmistress is an icon for believing in Blair and tutoring her so she can reach her "princess potential". She could've easily been a secondary villain and made it more difficult for Blair to attend classes. So I liked the decision to make her a positive role model and mentor for Blair.

On to the things I didn't like so much.

The opening song, You Can Tell She's a Princess, establishes that you don't need a crown to be a princess, and that it's something that shines from inside, and shows from your actions and character. Blair is shown working in a coffee shop, and soon after we are introduced to her family, which lives in a run-down, poorer part of town. She is kind, caring, gentle, patient and everything a real princess should be. As her younger sister said, "every girl is a princess, some of them just have fancier crowns".

Yet as the movie reaches its climax, it is revealed that Blair was the lost princess all along. This completely opposes the message of the entire movie and all of Blair's hard work. I know it would be scandalous to have Blair/Barbie be a lady royal instead of a princess, and essentially be "less than" Delancey, a supporting character, but the decision to reveal she had royal blood all along undermines the message that any girl can be a princess, as long as they work hard and stay true to themselves (and are lucky enough to win the lottery).

On a lighter note, I enjoyed the ridiculousness of Barbie magic turning the pink and blue school uniforms into sparkly, turquoise, purple and gold DIY outfits. Another goof is the age of the royal family's golden retriever, who is probably pushing 16 or 17 during the events of the movie.

There's also Dame Devin, who is one of the few Barbie villains to have a confirmed kill count. She (kinda) confesses this at the end of the movie, where she says she had the King and Queen "eliminated" so her daughter could ascend to the throne. Big Yikes. The confession is caught on camera and she is immediately arrested.

All in all, I always enjoyed this movie. I don't consider it part of the classic Barbie lineup, as it was released pretty late (2011), but it's a great bridge from the older classics that were exclusively set in other centuries and the newer movies that are set in the present day.

So this is something that I am definitely into. I always loved imagery of obese royalty, of indulging on a scale that regular people couldn't imagine. If I were to win the lottery I love to think of myself spending that wealth on the most spoiled, pampered little piglet. Washing down fried chicken with champagne, gorging on triple cheeseburgers made of wagyu beef, their O2 nosepiece encrusted with diamonds 👑👑
