New Mysterious Stones Chapter (A Fateful Reunion) coming on May 1, 2024! You'll need to have collected a total of 600 Mysterious Stones to unlock this story's area. Volo and Rei finally meet face-to-face on Pasio. What will Rei do in response to Volo's intentions?

In addition, they've made improvements that will allow you to easily check successful teams when you are unable to win a battle, and also revamped each 5⭐-Guaranteed Sync Pair Scout found in the General tab of the Ticket Scout menu so that you can scout either x5 or x10. (It sounds to me like you would need to have collected 150 to 300 5⭐ Scout Tickets.)

Rika will star in Story Event Good Ol' Rika Here beginning on Apr26, and by teaming up with Rika & Clodsire from their Poké Fair Scout that will be available at the same time as the event, you'll be able to invite Rika as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge! You can also get a Clodsire photo frame for the Photo Creator by teaming up with them. Rika can be invited as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge starting May1.

Rika & Clodsire are a Ground-type Support Sync Pair. Their EX Role is Field. Their Rampant Mud Slap Buddy Move can lower all opponents' accuracy by two stat ranks and leave them poisoned. It can also create a Ground Zone and increase all allies' Physical Moves ↑ Next and Special Moves ↑ Next effects by two ranks each. They can also use their Think Fast! Would have been cool to see some actual villains getting in on the fun, add that sense of urgency/seriousness, but was thinking it might be too much of an ask lol)

The next High Score Event "Water and Fairy Conqueror" will begin on May 7, 2024. This High Score Event will have two recommended types. Taking into account the difference in battle difficulty based on the available Sync Pairs of the recommended types for this High Score Event, the maximum number of points needed to obtain the featured reward will be changed from 180,000 to 200,000. They plan to make more adjustments to this point total based on the difficulty of future events as well.

Also scheduled are returns of Solo Event Pasio Gold Rush, Daily Battle The Golden Magikarp, and Story Event A Golden Future, as well as the addition of an Ultimate Battle and a new Trainer Files.

there’s a lot of talk about missed potential in jjk, and I agree, while culling games onward was a good ol fight shonen, shibuya incident was something special, dark and painful but built on a core foundation of hope and positivity that drives yuji as a character, but it kinda peaked there, never hitting the same emotional depth after, with the exception of maki and the zenin assassination arc.

But from the many things I’ve seen brought up, one of the things I haven’t seen is just the core premise of cursed energy not being used like it could be from the getgo. Instead of just being Ki, it was something developed *through* the negative emotions that pool and spawn curses. This is just gonna be me spitballing but listen listen.

Yuta’s the best way to segue into this. A sensitive kid loses his best friend and spirals into grief, unknowingly channeling his cursed technique (instead of just being able to copy, him being able to replicate/leech soul ‘data’ in general) as he hangs on to every memory and memento of her, acting as almost ritual and binding her soul to his, resulting in the vengeful spirit we know of rika, his raw cursed energy output resulting from the feedback loop of negativity that comes from the mass guilt of the horrors rika enacts in his defense, as well as the guilt of trapping her with him in the first place when he learns it’s his fault. His power is the direct result of the weight he carries with him.

And in the same way, other characters bear their trauma in their power. Maki’s frustration and spite at the circumstances of her birth placing her under every disadvantage with the system as it is. Sukuna’s raw hatred and disdain for his fellow man. Gojo’s isolation from his own humanity as The Strongest, growing up both closer to everyone than anyone could ever know, as the six eyes’ ability to see the flow of cursed energy allows him to practically read people’s minds emotionally, and yet expectations and power have placed him on a pedestal so far away from humanity, pressured and forced into sorcery, not a single other interest permitted, from the moment of his birth. Yuji, being a newcomer, predominantly working off fear and the still fresh grief of his grandpa, along with the pressure he now feels as someone capable of sorcery to protect those who are not, one bornout of love but no less harsh, and after shibuya, like yuta, he gains a burning core of guilt for what his life has allowed to happen. Stretching more now but instead of becoming racist and getting skilljacked, geto breaking at the end of hidden inventory is where his character launches off from, instead of how it dooms itself to end; I would need to put more thought into it to make it make concrete sense but his want to rid the world of nonsorcerers and “evolve humanity” is not out of hatred for the weak but his love for humanity as a whole, he wants a humanity that can defend itself against the natural consequence of its existence that is cursed energy, and sorcerers are basically the only ones who can do that, so non-sorcerers are simply liabilities and sources of cursed energy that don’t pull their own weight, and kenjaku is maybe more like a symbiote to him, his patron that just so happens to have the same practical goals as him, albeit a different motive of pure scientific curiosity (assuming they still want the tengen merger or if they’re still in the story at all, they don’t fit into this brainbaby idea quite as well as everything else, but I digress).

And this isn’t just a story thing, it also affects the battle system too. Desperation while losing a fight actively makes you more powerful - also means consequently that like people who keep their cool like gojo (ignoring the minor insanity (and him seeing his ex-boyfriend)) have an inherent power limiter; he may be the strongest but he doesn’t get the same power buffs that everyone else can. Maybe positive energy actually like exists aside from mahoraga and rct. it’s harder to use because well people latch onto negative emotion easier than positive emotion and if you’re fighting obviously things are not sunshine and rainbows, but it is more effective against pure curses and can heal (also then if you can only rct off positive emotion, that power swing from negativity kinda shifts you into a glass canon with more damage but less ability to heal).

Do I turn this into fanfic. Do I do that thing where you make fanfic but break it so far from anything canon it’s basically just original content. or do I just keep it all locked in my head because I’m lazy. Decisions decisions.

That is an interesting question. How come Mion never snaps and commits a murder? Why is she the only one who is able to resist the siren song of homicide and just skate through these events? I partly wonder if there’s some sort of mystical cosmic reasoning behind it, or if it’s simply because she’s too much of a good girl to ever commit the dastardly crime of murder? Too much of a good girl, this mob leader.

I know how this is going to sound, but lines like the ones on the white screens here about Hanyuu makes it sound like she’s going to be a much more interesting character than she winds up being. The feeling I got while reading most of her interactions with Rika throughout the chapter kept making me think about how since she’s an older being than Rika she must be aware of a lot more events of significance than she lets on. I kept thinking this was part of the reason for her utterly defeatist attitude she takes on during the course of the chapter. It’s probably unfair of me, but I kept expecting her to act like a character like the witches from Umineko, instead of a much more passive character. I still like her, Hanyuu is definitely one of the more intriguing characters to exist in the series, but I just expected her to contribute more than she does.

I never really expected her to be a purely malevolent force working against Rika, even with all of her dialogue about how Rika can’t fight fate, etc. But I expected her to have some more significant friction with her and the group considering she knows more about Rika’s imprisonment than she lets on. If you’ve read Umineko I was expecting her to be more like Featherine, and not just dog girl who au aus her way through the chapter.

I wonder if anyone read this chapter and didn’t just automatically figure out that the T stood for Takano?

Author Note— We need more Rika, I got us covered. This ain't my first rodeo with making fics/hcs on tumblr for the underloved ones, lets goooo

1. The first few times Rika saw the two of you together she didn't mind all that much, you had plenty of friends around and she was used to the chaos by now. Being pretty adaptable she fit well into the circle although much preferring to be by your side she hardly gave the others attention if you weren't by her side. She was fine with this... For a while.

2. Nemona was a pretty handsy type from what they could tell, the throw an arm around you randomly and aggressively shake some sense into you type. It shouldn't have come as a surprise when Nemona had gotten overly excited for a battle again; no surprise there- and had grabbed your hands, pleading for you to fight her. Rika shouldn't have cared about the small touch, barely able to be called affection at best and she could see you had no interest in Nemona, at least not in the way the two of you shared for so long now. But they did care, and a hell of a lot too.

3. Rika had little to no hesitance when it came to outsmarting Nemona, the next time the hyped up girl went for your hands, maybe out of reflex at this point. Rika was faster by miles; swooping an arm right around your waist and giving your body a nice gentle tug to redirect you away from the grabby annoyance. Nemona seemed a little stunned by the reaction but both of them had been sure you barely noticed what had happened, the sweet actions from your lover was nothing new and you had contently just leant into her; neither said anything that time.

4. The subtle acts continued for a while longer just like that, slipping you into her own grasp instead of letting Nemona get her hands on you again even if there was nothing romantic behind it. Rika didn't care, it was too much for her to see. She was fast and careful how she treated you, letting you have your battle if you chose to actually want it; Nemona had to learn rather quickly to find other ways to get your attention on her however. Rika may not be able to beat her in a battle, but the glare they held that shot a terrified shiver down Nemona's spine was plenty enough reason to back away.

5. It took a rather long time for her to crack, each time Nemona tried to touch you it got on her nerves more and more until she itched to do something about it already. Instead of aiming to hurt anyone for it though she was much more passive aggressive about dealing with the unwanted attention on you. Having lived with you her plans were easy to pull off, even more so with how often you sat by her or even better; right in her lap.

6. Rika patiently waited until you seated yourself comfortably on her lap before she finally struck, her arms wrapping around your waist the instant you got yourself settled down. One of her hands resting against your hips with a firm grip encouraging you not to move at all. Before even letting you question what she was doing her lips found themselves against your shoulder, gentle and deeply loving complete opposite to the demanding hands holding you down.

7. Of course she would have let go and found other ways to deal with this if you protested it, but she found herself being indulged all over again when your head tilted to the side and exposed your neck to her use. Rika immediately took her chance and trailed her soft lips from your shoulderblade all the way up to your neck, keeping soft and sweet with no warning of what she was about to do to you; although you already had a pretty good idea. The sudden bite into your sensitive skin despite being a bit expected, sent a wonderful shudder through your body she absolutely felt against her own body.

8. Just one bite wasn't enough though, for either of you. Rika wasn't particularly rough with her teeth making sure not to hit any sore spots and focusing on all the places you loved it most, having plenty experience mapping out all the sweet spots on your body something like this was easy. Barely lasting a few minutes before she felt you squirming on her lap, breathing hitching ever so slightly when she dug into a rather nice spot.

9. Small heated moments like this were never anything new for either of you, half expecting her to randomly stop and leave you whining for attention again. Rika didn't plan to stop for a while, finding a rather visible spot higher up on your neck she wasted not a second longer and pressed a harder bite right over that area. Digging in deep and grazing your skin faintly, sucking over the small wound as much as you could handle, a soft almost apologetic lick over the slowly bruising mark quickly following when she was finished with the bite just barely short of making you bleed.

10. She wasn't sorry though, that much was easy to tell when you felt her lips curl into what you could only describe as a possessive grin. She had murmured something against your new lightly sore mark before she bit you again in a different place but you didn't manage to hear what she said fully; far too focused on the sudden rushes of pleasure you were being offered. Rika, however; finally content, eager for more and completely ready to see the results of her plan, the realisation on that clingy girls face playing on her mind and kept the smile lingering.
