First and foremost, we want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support and interest in Blue Harbor! Summer is a busy season for many of us, but as we reach the tail end and fall slowly approaches, we couldn't be prouder to foster a little community where we can all get away from the craziness of everyday life. As we'd like to reiterate, we strive to keep this group as inclusive and welcoming as possible — to new and old members alike! Thus, we want to issue a few gentle reminders to everyone in light of some feedback that we've received thus far to ensure that we all remain on the same page. Please read the entire post thoroughly and like this post once you've done so in order to acknowledge that you've read it.

As per our activity guidelines, we enforce a strict no bubbling policy. Each week, we require that all members reply to three different muns in order to pass our activity check. These three muns whom you interact with per character must be switched out as often as feasibly possible from week to week in order to ensure that you are interacting with as many other writers as possible within the group. In general, if you feel as though you are struggling with this, please reach out to us and we will do our best to help! Additionally, a 'randomized groups' task / event will be rolling out within the next few weeks in order to spice things up on the dash and facilitate new connections; if this poses any issues for anybody, let us know off anon!

In a similar vein, we ask that you please attempt to prioritize threads evenly. We completely understand that sometimes you have to go where the muse takes you, or sometimes there may be plot-driven threads that take priority over others, but we want to reiterate that everyone should feel welcomed here regardless of IC / OOC connections! If there are threads in your roster that you simply aren't feeling anymore, that's perfectly okay, but please try to let your thread partner know so you can think of something new together!

In terms of OOC activity, please put your best foot forward when it comes to reacting to calls and plotting. Slide a react to someone you may have not interacted with before, offer up your best ideas and apply as much effort as possible when fleshing out character dynamics. Additionally, we understand that sometimes things get lost and it may be hard to keep up with the sheer amount of amazing writers that we have in this group, but we also ask that you try your best to stay on top of messages as a result of calls and plots. We say that it's never too late to go back to a DM and continue the conversation!

In terms of IC activity, we want to clarify that our definition of an interaction consists of a traditional written thread. We absolutely adore the increase in text / call / facetime threads on the dash, and we do not want them to stop by any means. We think they're a wonderful way of keeping muse high and furthering development for characters! We just ask that you keep in mind that they do not count towards activity check, and you will still need three different thread interactions in order to pass each week! This will be further clarified on our official guidelines page as we realized it was not previously specified.

In general, have fun! Writing on a platform like this is a truly wonderful hobby and we can’t express enough how awesome it has been getting to share it with every single one of you over the course of the past two months! We’ve been having an amazing time witnessing all of your enthusiasm and we hope you have been too!

"Solaris, I have an idea that you're going to love!" Mimosa chimes, hands excitedly gripping the papers of what half-baked plan she'd come up with now. It isn't often that she's allowed to do as she pleases, on account of her ideas being much too chaotic and uncompromising, but the curious look on her colleague's face is enough to tell her that she may have decent odds this time around.

"Fine. Tell me of this elaborate plan you have. At the very least, it ought to be interesting." Chin in hand, Solaris sets aside the paperwork that he had been filling out, and the two of them proceed to have a very enthusiastic chat about the former's plans.

The night starts as any other in Spirale City, with citizens tucking themselves into bed and bidding good night to their loved ones. Sleep takes them, some more peacefully than others, but all experience the distinct feeling of falling as they lie on the cusp between awake and asleep. It's an odd feeling, one that almost makes it hard to breathe, but it's soon replaced with the lighthearted warmth of floating gently, gently down until they're back in their bed and the familiar streaks of morning light find their way across the bedroom. Eyes open to what seemed to be yet another peaceful morning only to be met with a strange, low wail coming from outside the windows of their home.

Curious and somewhat concerned, an investigation is surely necessary and so investigate our inhabitants do; what they find surprises some of them, but for others it's business as usual. A large, astral whale makes its way across the sky, filled with stars and planets that seem much closer than usual. The sun hangs high in the sky despite the stars being in full view, a smiling face painted on its surface. The streets are lined with various trees of differing species--some even edible--along with a light stream flowing down the roads, where some citizens are in their bathing suits with cups in hand. And some may even find that their homes have also been made fantastical in varying ways.

And somewhere far, far away sit two scientists. One looks bored whilst the other can hardly manage to stay in her seat. At Solaris's discontentment, Mimosa is intent on getting his approval, so another idea is born. "And what if they can affect the dream, too!? That'd be interesting, wouldn't it?" Her idea is met with a wave of a hand as if saying to do what she pleases. With the flip of a switch, the city's inhabitants would now find that their imaginative thoughts were made manifest but hard to control at first.

"Now, let's see how it all plays out, hm? I promise it'll be worth it. Just watch it all unfold!" Mimosa's hand slaps the top of the haphazard giant cube of a machine that now sat in front of her and Solaris. It vibrates intensely as though it's fit to burst from the seams at any moment. Truly a delicate masterpiece that holds the current dream environment all together. "Don't worry, it'll be fine…maybe!" One look at Solaris can tell anyone though that he has his reservations.

-- Welcome to our 2024 summer event, Phantasm Amalgam! As a recap, we'd like to thank our members for sticking by us this long, and here's to another anniversary event for the books! So what's going on? In short, you're all in a shared dream of fantastical and untold proportion!

Secondly, what's the TLDR read of the situation? Well, here's a couple of bullet points to catch you up to speed!

Upon going to sleep, everyone in the city was transported into a replica of Spirale, only it's entirely made up from the shared memory of it that everyone has! So, there are bound to be a few differences here and there but not anything too large.

Essentially if you can dream it, then it can happen. Anything is fair game. Whatever thoughts your characters have can become reality, all they need to do is think it into existence and it'll become real! It can even be changed by other characters as well. You can also change other characters with mun permission, of course!

Powers will be uncapped within the dream world, but someone else could simply dream themselves invulnerable to them too.

Please keep in mind that if you're interfering with what is being dreamed by another character, you'll need mun permission first!

There is no limit as to what a character can create or change. Whether it be a singular object (a lamp post, a tree, a car, and other objects large or small), an NPC, or even changes to player characters themselves. You can even change entire wards if you want to, but someone else can change it just as quickly! Take the chance to do something exciting and unexpected, the scientists are waiting for some interesting results!

a/n this turned out longer than I expected it to be but anyways, a love letter for our all-rounder and master of variety, hope you all enjoy! Trying my best to do more bp trainee fics before zb1 starts activities since I’ll probably do more fics about the members!

It’s a perfectly peaceful morning at the Boys Planet dorm. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping-

“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-”

-and Kum Junhyeon is yelling.

“-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-”

He’s always yelling.

Except for when he’s sleeping, eating or seriously practicing,

It’s quite normal for him to exceed maximum volume capacity.

Only Seunghwan had gotten approximately 3 hours of sleep and he’d like to get a few more before they actually have to get up for a long day of practice.

Times like this is when he wished that any other team had been open when Sung Hanbin had moved him out of Tomboy.

“-AAAAAAAAAAA!!”

Literally any other team.

And just when he goes back to dreaming about making the Top 9 or maybe even going home for the break and getting to sleep in his own, blessedly quiet bedroom…

“YA! YOU BRATS COME BACK HERE OR I”LL-”

A series of expletives follows, too colorful for Seunghwan to even wonder how Junhyeon at his young age knows. Ggang’s tired leader sits up, staring daggers at Chen Jianyu who, in all this chaos, manages to stay dead asleep. If only he could. 

And since Seunghwan’s day can only get better, the door flies open and slams shut, Jianyu stirring a little in his sleep before settling back into slow, even breathing. Seunghwan wants to strangle them all, seriously and it isn’t even Jianyu’s fault.

Lee Jeonghyeon and Mun Junghyun stare up at him sheepishly from where they’re crouched on the floor, one of them holding what looks like Junhyeon’s practice clothes. Which means-

Seunghwan resists the urge to commit murder which has been a thought on his mind more than what should be usual. While they are three years apart, the other Wakeonez called them the demon twins and now Seunghwan was acutely aware of why. Before they can say anything, Seunghwan shushes them. At this rate, he figures that he either kicks them out to the hall and Junhyeon starts yelling at them or Junhyeon finds them and starts yelling. All scenarios end with Junhyeon yelling, he thinks, there’s no scenario where Seunghwan wins and gets a few more hours of sleep. Unless-

Reaching for his phone, Seunghwan dials the number that the Back Door team advised he call for Junhyeon volume control.

You’re jolted awake by your phone, vibrating quietly beside you. Without looking at the contact, you answer it, sneaking a glance at your two roommates, both fast asleep.

“Yes it is” 

You confirm when the caller asks for your name.

“Ah, this is Lee Seunghwan from the Gang team. Listen, I’m really sorry to disturb you but Junhyeon is-”

Seunghwan hangs up from the call and sends a silent prayer to the universe for strength to deal with his demons team.

As if on cue, the door swings open and there he is, in all his glory, Kum Junhyeon, with his hair still damp from the shower, a towel wrapped around his waist and his nostrils flaring with a fury. The offenders shriek, scramble off the floor and conveniently find themselves on top of Junhyeon’s bed. Seunghwan braces himself.

“YA! HOW DARE YOU-”

Three things happen simultaneously. The door shuts, Junhyeon freezes and Jianyu finally wakes up. 

You survey the scene before you and sigh, turning to your boyfriend. Trying your best to remain composed, you fix him with a dead eyed stare, pointedly ignoring the droplets of water beading down his flat stomach. While it’s not Kim Jiwoong’s abs, it’s still doing things to you.

“Ah Hyeoni, what’s this I hear about you yelling so early in the morning? And walking around like this? Ya, you know there are kids here.”

You see the gears in his head turning before he drops his posture and says your name, laying the aegyo thick the way he does whenever you scold him. While you’re unfazed, the rest of the room’s occupants visibly cringe.

“Junhyeonie was showering and those meanies took Junhyeonie’s clothes so Junhyeonie chased them and told them to give back-”

You decide to stop him before Seunghwan actually commits murder.

“Mhmm well get your clothes back and come to my room. It’s early, let’s sleep a bit more before breakfast.”

So after extracting his clothes from Junghyun, who’s still in shock from the aegyo overload they had all borne witness to, Junhyeon trails after you, clutching them close to his chest with one hand and letting you drag him by the other.

As soon as the door closes behind the two of you, Seunghwan heaves the biggest sigh of relief. With one look at his teammates all dozing off as well, he finally closes his eyes and gets the sleep he needs.

You love Junhyeon morning cuddles. Well, you love any kind of Junhyeon cuddles.

But there’s something about mornings and trying your best to burrow yourself into the blanket as he wraps his arms around you and tangles your feet together. Your roommates are still fast asleep and unbothered though you know they’re going to tease you later when they wake up and find Junhyeon in your bed.

You look up and he’s looking at you, your bodies so close that it’s almost impossible to tell where you end and he begins. You’re still a little distressed from witnessing his post-shower glory and so you tug him forward into a lingering kiss. He chases your lips, hands sliding to hold yours.

His breath goes a little shaky as you trail soft kisses across his cheeks and down his neck before returning to his lips. He wishes it could last longer but soon the fatigue from weeks of grueling practice and lost sleep sets in. You rest your head against the back of his neck, spooning him as he holds your hand, pressing kisses to your knuckles.

“Love you Hyeoni.”

You say, voice muffled as you bury your face into him.

“Love you too.”

He says so softly that you almost don’t hear it as you doze off. But you do because even when he whispers, Junhyeon’s love for you yells for the whole universe to hear. And you heard him.

The feeling that courses through my veins as I lay on My Bed with So Mun kissing my neck feeling butterflies in my stomach, could not be described as Lust , but as passionate and intimate.

I run my hands through his hair starting from the nape of his neck and going into the back middle,Only able to do this because I am in between his arms as he leans down carefully not to put to much pressure on me.

"What brought this on?" I question him promptly after his head comes up from my neck

"Nothing it’s just…I have’nt kissed you in awhile or even be that close to you since in school we have different schedules , except for that one class So I take every moment I can." His lips tell me but his eyes and head elsewhere, showing me his Nervousness as he talks.

His eyes suprise when I take his chin softly between my index and thumb , and turn his head softly making him look at me.

"There is nothing is wrong with that , I was just asking there is no need to be nervous I thought you were stressing or something or if you wanted to talk about something but resorted to affection instead." I Begin as I look in eyes finding his endearing and one of the many things I’m fond of in him.

He smiles and Nods with this look in his eyes only he can distinguish the emotion too.

"Can I continue?"He questions innocently and readily.

"Come here baby" I voice back confirming his question.

He leans in and kisses me softly and slowly giving me a sensation I never felt before. I feel his other hand softly but firmly grab my waist kissing me deeper cause a soft hum out of me.

He continues to slowly kiss me keeping it Romantic and Intimate. Grabbing my left thigh and bringing it to sit up, slightly leaning on his body.He then does something that has my heart already beating faster than it already was, also creating goosebumps on my arms and legs.

He slowly glides his finger on my skin starting at my ankle and slowly going up to my thigh as we still kiss. Our lips molding together like the sun and moon, they can’t go without eachother.

His finger tips reach my thigh and he being to rub there, causing me pull back away from him slowly, my breath out of control and the intesity to much for me to handle.

He pulls back to see the reason for the sudden halt in the moment

Before the phone call ends he lets out an dejected sigh and says "Okay"

"What?" I question seeing him put the phone back where it was and put his attention back on me.

"I have to go baby" He speaks with slight sadness in his tone, but you know he is happy to do what he does he is just sad to leave you.

"Hero things?" I tease him trying to put that beautiful smile back on him.

"Yea" He chuckles softly and rubs my check , then going to my lips.

"I’ll see u later" He says closing the distance a bit and kisses me after finishing his statement.

I hold his cheeks to deepen it a bit, only pulling back after a few seconds because I know he has to go.

"Ok"I respond back but wanting nothing more than to keep kissing him, but I know he has to save the world and I love that about him, because he is genuine about it.

He gets up and puts his jacket on and grabbing his phone. "If your tired don’t wait for me just go to sleep, ok?" He says looking down at me with a soft look.

“Mhm” I say smiling at him sleepily.since I’m filled with food and the love of my boyfriend it made me tired.

He kisses my forehead one more time and starts walking to the door , turning of the lights and closing my door on the way. I then start to drift to sleep as I hear my front door shut and my lock locking by itself making me smile to myself

allie's moving to @enchaentd! i've had this blog for three years <3 and it is the longest i've ever kept a single blog active for. at this point, i feel completely overwhelmed here, with drafts, likes, inbox count, post count, and followers despite clearing them out quite a few times across the years. i really hate dropping things, and i feel like i have done so much more progression here and character building with allie, that i hate to move myself over. my stuff is here >:/ and it's true that i could move things over, but part of the reason i'm moving is just the clutter of everything. i'd like to keep a sideblog of rbs of hcs, threads, or other posts that i want to keep a little easier than just searching up things here. i have no intention of deleting this blog, you will never ever catch me doing that. also, my tags have been broken for, i think, almost one year, so i'm excited to be able to get to use some that work. (also, the new url helps with a new vibe. i've never been completely in love with this one.) i am dropping a lot of threads and memes. it is very, very likely that i have dropped ours, (i kept about 10 threads, and memes that i had plans to respond to privately or involved making edits) and i'm truly am sorry for it. i always want to start new things, and i plan to post a permanent starter/plotting call on my new blog soon to be able to get those new things going. whether or not i dropped a thread has no reflection on how i feel about our dynamics or even our relationship as friends/muns, it was very ruthless marie kondo style decision making, so i did not feel overwhelmed and could write something. like i said, i want to start new things!!! it's also likely that i won't be following first, as per usual with new blogs, but please feel free to follow me there! if we're mutuals, i want to keep/start writing with you! 💖💖💖💖💕💕✨✨💕💕💖💖

Typically I'm more of a fan of ships that are roughly the same age since they'd understand each other better thanks to no generational gaps, but again, this depends entirely on the muse and dynamic we're talking about, and I'm always down to try something else if the romantic interest is there between our muses!

It's very rare for me to dwell on canon ships and I never ship my muse with more than a single portrayal so I never end up seeing them romantically inclined for anyone else other than their singleship partner. At best, I could maybe list two people overall for a few select muses, but more often than not that's already a stretch.

𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐀𝐒𝐊 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐘𝐎𝐔? — If our muses are just flirting with each other and there's no intention to get properly romantically involved with one another, then no. But if our muses are in love with each other after regularly writing together and you're willing to ship with me seriously (which, again, I know is a big decision to take bc I expect the both of us to be singleship for them!) then you can 100% ask me and chances are I'll say yes in a heartbeat! I myself don't usually ask people to ship bc I don't want to mess with their flow and potentially make them uncomfortable (<-especially if I know they're multiship and I'm unsure whether they'd be willing to become singleship with me) so unfortunately the other person will always have to be the one doing the asking, but rest assured I'm harmless so there's nothing to fear! MEANING, I like to ship whenever chance wills it that my muse meets a chara they're really interested in and my + that mun's portrayals mesh well together! Whether that happens weekly or once in 5 irl years is not up to me though.

𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏? — No. ADHGADSAJDJH I might sound #quirky but I simply don't have the energy to keep several ships going considering how many muses I have. If I had 2+ ships per muse I would simply turn to dust on day two of writing them! That, and my muses tend to love so deeply when they fall in love that it's literally a mission impossible for them to even look at someone else after they've fallen in love with a chara. I used to try to be multiship a few years ago but frankly neither my nor my muse's soul was in the 2nd/3rd/etc ships bc my muse didn't feel it as much as they felt the 1st one, so I simply stopped forcing my muse & myself into writing ships just for the sake of shipping. This is why I'm not multiship and since I don't want to feel like ship fodder, this is also why I won't ship with multiship blogs. [Romance lead vc] If we ship you're the only one for me 🌹

hellos. dusting off my old sideblog to throw up this request bc that feels like a good idea. i've responded to a couple other searches, so i'm realistically not looking to take on too many more. little bit about me, i'm a 29 man, live in the central timezone [ i think technically it's cdt bc it's currently july... but don't quote me on that ], used to consider myself a reader reader but me and the books have been beefing these past few months so that isn't occurring as frequently. maybe because i've been giving rp more attention. i've been rping since at least 2009, but most of that has was on forums like proboards/invisionfree/jcink. i have only recently really been a discord rp girlie

really only looking for m/m plots at this time. mayhaps one day i will go back to doing hetero ships, but for the time being that's not really something that interests me. i don't have a robust collection of muses that i pull out of rotation, that's just never been how i rp... if you see a guy on my main blog [ blakegallo ] the odds are that i would use them as a face. because i cut my teeth on forums i do typically only use actors, musicians, and the occasional model as faces; i typically steer clear of people who social media people. it's really just a matter of personal preference. i am willing to consider a fandom based rp, but would prefer something that is more oc x oc.

as far as preferences go i do write in the third person past tense. i don't really have any interest in breaking the discord message character limit for replies. i would never do a one liner, but a nice well developed paragraph or two is usually good enough for me. i like there to be something to respond to and get a nice back and forth going. i've seen a lot in my decade plus in the rp community and i've definitely done responses that are what the girlies call novella length now and that's just not something i'm super invested in returning to at this time. i don't have any interest in rping in dms, i think that things are just more organized in a private server. i also prefer for new threads to be individual channels just because i find that easier to scroll back through than one general channel, but that's me. i am a tupperbox girlie... and so i do have a slight preference for using them. it's not a requirement by any means, i have more 1x1s that don't use them currently than do, but just throwing that out there. i also find that doing something mumu is just easier for me with the tupperbot, but we can make it work if you aren't for it.

as a sidenote, i also do really love text threads. in my time perusing the the tags i'm not sure if this common because so many of the requests i see are for the novella level girlies. but sometimes i might have time for some quick banter between our characters. i also find that characters texting leads to where a next thread should go. as a vibes girlie i just like letting the characters sort things out sometimes than us as muns going back and forth figuring out where the plot should take them next.

plotting for me tends to be more organic. i really don't like to get too far ahead of ourselves. to me it's like writing a romance novel, we know these characters are eventually going to get together, but the journey to that destination can be whatever we make for it. so the ups and downs and angst along the way is what makes it fun. obviously i'm all for tossing ideas back and forth about how we think we should handle something or where we should go next, but i don't really have any interest in outlining the whole journey and then just hitting the beats.

so please be 21+, 25+ honestly would be even better and like this if you're interested. i might read the occasional high fantasy book, but that's not a thing i am all that interested in. i might be up for something vaguely paranormal, but i'm really more a regular person writer. give me the lives and the rich and famous or mess happening in suburbia... i'll reach out from my main blog in tumblr dms and we can go from there if we think it could be a good fit.

As we’ve said before, and we’ll continue to say a million times over, the both of us want Blue Harbor to be as welcoming as it possibly can be. Inclusion is a very serious goal of ours that we strive for every single time that we log onto the dash each day, both as admins and players. At the same time, we understand that a lot of the heavy lifting in that department comes down to you guys, our members — which is why we want to first and foremost thank every single one of you for all of the work you’ve put into helping this goal of ours come to fruition, giving us the opportunity to house your beautiful muses in the process. We wouldn’t be going two months strong (and counting!) without you guys!

That being said, we want to make sure that each and every one of you has fun, feels appreciated, and is heard most of all. Which is why we’d like to put out a few reminders in light of some feedback that we’ve already received re: inclusivity, for old and new members alike to ensure that we're all on the same page!

In terms of on-dash activity, we enforce a strict no bubbling policy. Per our guidelines, we require that all members each week reply to three different muns in order to pass our activity check, and ideally the three muns whom you interact with per character will be switched out whenever possible! We feel fortunate in that we do not see an issue with this actively occurring here, however, it's always good to interact with a wider range of members than usual. For your next threads, try and switch things up! 

As a continuation, please continue to utilize our STARTER BLOG and reply to any opens that need a little more love if you have the time / thread space! In general, a good habit to keep is replying to two open starters before posting your own so that nobody feels ignored.

In terms of OOC activity, we want to remind everyone to continue to put your best foot forward when it comes to reacting to calls and plotting. Branch out and react to somebody you may not have interacted with before, offer up your best ideas and apply as much effort as you can when fleshing out character dynamics, etc etc! If anybody feels as though they are struggling in this aspect, as we’re no strangers to struggling sometimes ourselves, we’ve found two lovely guides on plotting written by fellow RPC members that may be of some help! Found HERE and HERE. 

In general, have fun! Writing on a platform like this is a truly wonderful hobby and we can't express enough how awesome it has been getting to share it with every single one of you over the course of the past two months! We've been having an amazing time witnessing all of your enthusiasm and we hope you have been too!

We connected instantly, and our writing relationship is a lot of fun because we work together and give instead of take. It’s a very mutual, very balanced relationship and it is so very satisfying and rewarding. Some of my best and favorite work is with them. Nothing so far compares for me. ❤️💛

@guardian-rocket - I’ll be honest, the very first time I watched GotG, I couldn’t decide if I liked Rocket or just wanted to punt him like a football because he got on my nerves. Most of the time, I’d answer with the latter. However! Because of Rocket Mun and then later because of GotG3 I have found a new appreciation for and understanding of Rocket. Rocket Mun is a wildly creative and knowledgeable writer. I’m blown away by their skill. I can hear the guardians’ voices perfectly in their writing. I love it and I love the thread we’ve got going. Plus they have incredible drawing skills too!

@thegrandharveyspecter - I know like 5 things about the show Suits. I watched a few episodes with my parents back in the day, but it had been ages ago. I never expected to be RPing with a Harvey Specter yet here we are, and it’s been fun! This dynamic is fun to explore, and that’s because of how the Grand Mun brings Harvey to life. And to think I helped inspire the Grand Mun to start this blog? I’m flattered. And look how far we’ve come.

@arandomnerdsrp358 - I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited whenever I saw my Cassie in my notifications. Such a beautiful dynamic between Scott and Cassie and exploring this relationship has been a great privilege for me. Without a Cassie, who is Scott Lang? Good thing we don’t have to worry about finding out because we have this sweet mun.

I have been blessed with not one but 3 Lokis. @benevolentgodloki @loki-notazombie and @askthesecondgenerationavengers (teen) and my goodness! Certainly keeping Scott on his toes. But what I love is the same character is being fleshed out in 3 different ways, and that’s so fun and exciting to me. Everything is different and new, and it keeps the creative juices flowing. And all 3 are so fun to write with because who knows what kind of Loki I’ll get today. I’ve become more of a Loki fan thanks to them.

Lastly but certainly never least @inz-lokisdottir . I love Inz, Baby Inz, and Inz Mun very very much! Every thread we’ve done so far has been so much fun and I love how we seemed to click too. Scott is so good with kids, and he really gets to show that off with her. And the fact people have reached out and said how they love our threads just proves how great a team we are.

Life Update & Changes

So much has changed in the last few months, but years really. A lot of things happened in just under a year that it's been hard to keep up with. When I first made the decision to shelve Kane, I was in a very vulnerable position.

I'll be real with the followers that remain here. But my mom suffered a heart attack last January and most of my time and brain power revolved around caring for her. She had a double bypass and she was weak, so fucking weak that getting out of bed, bathing and even sitting upright was a struggle for her. I never in a million years thought I'd have to care for my own mother that way, but I did. Even though I was mentally exhausted and even suffered physical exhaustion, I wouldn't change it. She's here, she's still here with us making new memories.

That same year, I got married on the Disney Wish to my longtime boyfriend/fiance of 13 years last November. It was a dream come true, and we've made so many memories with each other as a couple and our friends and family.

And, just this last two weeks my mom was hospitalized again with a bad kidney infection. She's still here recovering but it was another health scare that we thought we'd lose her again. We're grateful and happy that she's here with us and able to create memories not just with us, but with her grandson, my nephew.

I know this is just skimming through everything that's happened. But I want to reiterate that there was so much going on in my personal life that trying to fix or change Kane was making me feel more exhausted and like a failure. I didn't feel good enough to do the things I wanted to do with him.

So I'm planning on redoing some of his backstory stuff in regards to his involvement with the Council. Whether I remake it or just remove it entirely, I'm not entirely certain yet. The leader of the Council and I had a falling out years ago and I never really knew what to do with Kane in regards to that. So that's just something I'll have to think of and see what I can do with it, or just remove it. We'll see how it goes, but I'm planning on bringing Kane back out, giving him some fresh air and strawberry buttercream cupcakes, because let's face it. He's not Kane without his cupcakes.

I've lost friends when my mom first got sick and some more afterwards. But I've gained so many more. I'm currently in a place where I'm not so worried, but still thinking of my mom's health. But I'm happier. I've mentioned this before, but I'm happier. So much has happened, both good and bad. But I'm in a better spot.

I just want to say that I love the name for your newest au "Sense of Faith, Self & Valor" because those are qualities that are all visible differently in each character and yet also something that they desperately want to embody more of, Kallus with being Faithful and full of Valor yet having no true sense of self, Tua with Faith & Self but having no Valor, and He with Self and Valor but having to Faith because of how far he has fallen from what He used to be.

Much thanks to @mystical-salamander for helping us in naming this au because I was very much kicking myself in the ass for not having changed the label of Defectors AU early on when I realized 1- I was indeed going to add and expand upon the au more and 2-the og concept was definitely changing. Because this au is much more accurately defectors than the other one, but it's too far developed for me to detach it now. It's not getting a name change until the story is finished and I start posting the first chapter.

Salamander helped us with a large chunk of the name, and after the conversation I felt it was still missing one more crucial piece, so I added it.

And your reading about it is very correct.

Kallus has such a lack of Self, that his senses of Faith and Valor were increased to cover that but ultimately led to him allowing himself to make a line of the worst mistakes he can't take back or repair. He dedicated himself so much and so intensely that he allowed himself to be comfortable in blind faith.

Tua knows herself well and is very self aware. Her dedicating her faith and self was how she covered her lack of valor, but she couldn't hide that when things got intense, and in so, her faith wavered. Her sense of self didn't and that was how she ends up still continuing with faith, but her lack of valor still haunts her.

And for Him, he knows large portions of his self, and his valor is even greater. But his faith continuously has not been whole. His faith had wavered and weakened frequently in the jedi order, and he left at something after the Trials of Ahsoka Tano. He was always willing to step forth his valor for his sense of self, but his lack of faith still limits him. To the point now that it affects his self.

I'm very much looking forward to this au. I'm having it start around the time Kallus's loyalty to the empire has disintegrated, which in this au is maybe a few weeks or so after Bahryn, and a few more weeks before he starts trials to pick up the Fulcrum role&code name.

I very much look forward to not shutting the fuck up about this. I will drop more information after I've posted the first concept dump on ao3. In the meantime, I will answer any questions about this au. I'll be bouncing between this in our other WIPs&AUs frequently. Atm, this is just the one demanding our attention and getting our mental&emotional stability through working two jobs.

POLICY UPDATE (04/27/24)

Hello everyone!

It's that time again! Time for a P O L I C Y U P D A T E or "MFRP PATCH NOTES" if you'd prefer! We have a few things to touch on this time including some policy changes, reminders, and even a new tag!

CHANGES

Starting on a positive note: we've recently made some changes to our Discord server to reduce the clutter and take advantage of the recently added forum channels. If you haven't dropped in yet now might be a good time! You can find a link to it here!

Going forward there will no longer be a rank requirement for a character to have internet access! This was a carryover system from the previous group but we have decided this stipulation is pretty unnecessary so every character will have proper internet access upon acceptance.

We've moved links to past policy updates onto their own page instead of listing all of them on the "important links" page. Only the most recent policy update will be featured alongside a link to this page on important links going forward!

REMINDERS

At the end of last month we made a post about communicating within the group. If you haven't read it yet please make sure you do! You can find it here!

If you are writing a muse that is under 18 years of age please do not engage with any dash commentary or replies on these characters that are adult in nature! While we understand that all of our members are adults we still expect that characters that are canonically minors to steer clear from these subjects because engaging in them may make others uncomfortable. Minor characters are explicitly forbidden from engaging with any form of sexual or suggestive content in any form, whether it be as simple as commenting on it.

For those that wish to reserve newly released gacha characters we'd like to reiterate the policy we've had for some time now. These characters cannot be reserved or applied until a full week has passed since their release! So if they were released at any time between 12:00am and 11:59:59pm EST on the 1st of the month they cannot be reserved or applied until 12:00am EST on the 9th! We do this so that there is a one time fits all policy, as different games release characters at different times. There was an inconsistency with this on the rules page but we've gone and corrected it!

When ranking up your character to Subgiant or Giant we request a certain number of interactions with "individuals". We'd like to clarify that these individuals refer to different characters and not different muns. However when submitting your rank up requests please keep in mind that we won't be accepting using more than three characters from the same mun going forward.

NEW

Going forward you must have your character's canon age listed either on the application itself or your stats page to be accepted. We understand that in many cases canon ages aren't given for characters but we ask that you make your best guess. If we feel that you may be over or underrepresenting their age we may ask you to change it! In the case of immortal or unaging characters please list their physical age (ie how old they look) along with their chronological age.

We also ask that all existing members make sure to include their character's ages on their blogs somewhere to coincide with the change above! There's no rush to do this immediately but we may start reaching out if we notice accounts without it in a few months!

To keep things a little more organized we'd like to add a new tag! Going forward if you'd like to post a permanent plotter call, or if you'd like to search for one to like, please use the "#isola perm call" tag! We hope this makes it easier to find these posts so that they're easier to utilize!
