i'd heard about this way back and thought it seemed really ambitious. from the mod page

Mind Games is an upcoming quest mod for Fallout 4. i've only skimmed the video since i want to play it myself, but i went checking to see if there was any ai used for the voices (in which case i would not be playing it)

It's brazilian valentine's day (yesterday) and we're here to say: I wanna be them.

It's Valentines Day season (first of February) so I whipped together some of the classic; Soulmate, Red String of Fate AU doodles of my dumbass boys.

And it's going well, just as you'd expect from Poor Edward and Sawyer.

And the funniest part of this that I've thought of, was the idea of their first "Business meeting" just them electing to IGNORE the entire red string thing because that just makes things So much more awkward, right? You're just trying to threaten a thief to leave your bosses work alone, and it's just So hard to explain you're gonna bury him alive if he continues. What a hassle. So consider it a relief on Ed's part when Sawyer Wholeheartedly Agrees to ignore that teeny tiny problem.

And then the moon-milk happens. And now Edward went Back on that little arrangement and went "Actually No < 3" and Sawyer is. Doing fine.

Loved the idea of the threat of fate bleeding when you try and remove/damage it as it is neigh indestructible. Like that scene from Hercules with the fates trying to cut the thread, "THE SCISSORS WONT CUT"

ummm actually i know i said i was going to bed in the tags of my last post but. i think my approach to religion (specifically catholicism and the way it exists in my head) will always be in the aspect of like. was going to call it a story but i think the better term is a text. obviously there are rules and tenets and expectations set out by the religion but all of this is done by extrapolating that information through analysis of the literature. and taking greater meanings and examining authorial intent is only part of it, because if it's a story, that means that it has characters, that it has a narrative, that it exists in the context of how we tell stories and it has a universe within it that operates on the rules established by the story. so the figures in the bible are both figureheads for the concepts that they represent and also characters of their own right, ones that you can examine the motives of. and none of this necessarily means that you believe in satan as like. an Actual Guy who is out there doing things. but you can engage both with the theological concept of him as a representation of all the evils presented by the church and also with the character that is present within the story. multiple aspects of the text. literary analysis from multiple perspectives. i don't even know what i'm saying anymore this made more sense in my head tbh

Nick Valentine had taken it in stride as he did most things. Unsavory folks were common as weeds in his line of work: more important at the moment were results.

The detective was on a time crunch. He couldn't afford to be picky about an escort for his client-- so Dregs was suggested, and Dregs it would be.

The Atomic Wrangler was really the best place for a merc to get business-- so that was where Nick went. His was an odd face to see skulking about the tables, though it was well obscured under the brim of his fedora and over the lapel of his trench coat.

Skin of plastic and polymer, eyes like neon lights, a gash in the synthetic flesh of his face advertising steel bones and wire veins. At least he paid up front for the one whiskey he'd have. It was little more than a prop to a mechanical man, held in a skeletal hand de-gloved and exposed with steel knuckles. That drink came to rest on the bar next to the man he'd been pointed to.

"Dregs?" He asked in a low rumble. "Can I get you a drink? I've got a proposal."
