Irida "We're not dating – but Becca's so nice, I'm sure she wouldn't mind if we did. You don't like her, then?"

Alison "Oh, she's lovely. I'm sure her superiors appreciate her too for the loyal dog she is."

Irida "That's what soldiers are trained to be, no?"

Alison "Eh. Says something about people who make that career choice to begin with."

Irida "Me? I wouldn't cut out to be a soldier. Standing in line ain't my strongest suit... or standing, in general."

Alison "That's a virtue in this case. Although you could confuse the opponent by appearing in front line naked and singing."

Irida *hums* "I see you've read about mersim defense tactics!"

I just had a thought while thinking about your possession au.

So I know you posted some joke art about Ingo confronting a Zoroark acting as his (possessed) brother, but what if the Zoroark WAS trying this time.

So imagine ; Ingo with maybe Lady Sneasler and Irida walking through the Alabaster Icelands, and they get confronted with a Zoroark. It takes Emmet's form and starts terrorizing Ingo, taunting him with "You'd never hurt me!" and everything F!Emmet said before.

And Irida watches as Ingo, her cool and collected if a tad lost warden just... shrink back in fear.

Now just about any sane person would be afraid of a Zoroark, but she can tell that this is MUCH more than just that. This is *personal*. He normally never hesitates fighting Zoroarks when they take the forms of others, but this time he is terrified of hurting the man behind the illusion, and of the man himself.

Judging from everything the illusion of Emmet is shouting (even illusions and how they behave have *some* truth to them), and the way Ingo is terrified, she deduces that maybe the place or family Ingo originally came from wasn't ideal, to say the least. Ingo frantically telling Irida that he loves his supposed abuser only reaffirms her concerns.

Eventually, this becomes somewhat of an open secret among both clans that Ingo's 'man in white' is, to say the least, not good. And how is Ingo supposed to dispute that? He loves this person, and he vaguely feels protective of him, but he also feels afraid whenever he think of him.

Cue Emmet somehow getting into Hisui.

For some extra angst, he took care of his F!Emmet situation, somehow. (Maybe when they both went to Dialga to go to Hisui, he went 'wait a moment, you're not supposed to be there' and separated them)

Naturally, when Irida finds out that the man in white is actually here, she panics. Everyone tries to a. Keep Emmet from finding out Ingo is even here (which doesn't work, he came here KNOWING Ingo is here so he can tell everyones lying to him), b. Know Emmet's location at all times, so that c. They can steer Ingo in the opposite direction of where Emmet is, for his own safety until they can either get Emmet to go back to where he came from, or do some (incredibly biased) investigation.

Cause Sinnoh help them if Emmet IS actually as bad as they suspect, cause if he is even half as good as Ingo, then the amount of people who could potentially stop him can he counted on one hand.

Sure, he SEEMS nice if a tad intense, worrying about his brother, but who's to say he's not just a good actor?

I dunno, maybe the climax is Emmet finding Ingo but the Ingo protection squad (consisting of Irida, Sneasler, etc.) is keeping him back and throwing the not completely baseless accusations at Emmet, him saying "hey I was possessed by a future alternate version of myself, but hes gone now I swear" ("well that's awfully convenient"), and Ingo has NO IDEA what do to (cause he said that once, didn't he? He said that the thing was gone, but then it wasn't, so he has no idea if he can fully trust him or not).

OR, F!Emmet arrives still in Emmet's body and just starts tearing through everything to find Ingo. He's an unstoppable force that will not stop until he finds his brother. And he is nearly everything that Zoroark showed Irida. They are desperately trying to keep Ingo away from him, to no avail.

What're your thoughts on this? Do with all this what you want, and thanks for reading my rant.

OK SO THIS WOULDN'T BE CANON PER SAY (more like an offshoot au?) BUT SOME INTROSPECTION ->

so i might have explored this very idea in a couple of discord dms! but for the most part, yes, ingo would be very much scared of the man in white/the zoroark since his last days with emmet were very much tainted with future emmet's influence, but i wouldn't say f!emmet went so far as to abuse him - emotionally torment for sure tho. still, ingo would very much react, even with amnesia, with a sense of fear and apprehension to seeing him. mixed and very confusing feelings

when emmet does finally get to ingo in hisui in the actual au, him and his future self has actually teamed up (as the last installation suggests). that isn't to say emmet is angry at his future self (bc he is FURIOUS even now at how his future self treated ingo and made the last few weeks he had with his sibling so miserable for everyone) but they have a sort of ceasefire since they want the same thing rn

but similar to your ask, ingo doesn't react positively. he still doesn't remember much but he knows that: 1) he knows this figure and that he is someone important to him 2) does not want any harm to come to him 3) he, for the life of him, is scared of him. the clan is rightfully ultra suspicious of them and maybe puts him on watch (and maybe subjecting him to various interrogative talks to get him to explain everything) that the emmets accept without much fight -> f!emmet feeling extremely guilty for what he has done and believes he deserves the treatment/deserves to not be forgiven + emmet knows that the clan is protecting his brother and can't fault them for handling the way they do

f!emmet and emmet both have a lot of work to do if they want things to go back to the way they were, if they even can

ADAMAN DESCENDANT! PERRIN IS ADAMANS DESCENDANT! WOOOO!!! We have some PLA representation. (also a little glimpse of Adaman and Irida in the masters trailer too)

YES!!!! This was the one thing that seemed to be speculated wrong ahead of time. It had been speculated that we’d get an Adaman descendent, but they were said to be in the Blueberry Academy in part 2, not part 1.

REGARDLESS this clearly seems to be an Adaman descendent by Pokémon’s design patterns between ancestors and descendents!! I’m so happy we finally have a design for them!!

Now I wait for Irida’s descendent. I joke that her descendent is Paulo from Pokémon Masters, but I know that doesn’t realistically hold up lol.

And yeah!! We got Irida and Adaman in the pokemon Masters Trailer! (I saw like one frame of them cause my stream was really struggling lol). I was hoping to see some anniversary sync pairs and see if we’d get any more Hisui Rep (Volo or Cogita?), but I was happy enough seeing Irida and Adaman in there, standing with Dawn!

Good morning, my dearest fellas! 👋😘 Get ready for a fresh chapter of my "Ghostboy in Hisui" AU. Let's go!

Chapter 3: Ghostly Encounter In The Alabaster Icelands

It was a sunny morning in Hisui. Today was Allister's test. He was now with Akari in the Galaxy Hall. Cyllene gave the ghostboy a bag and about 20 pokeballs. And to his surprise, she also had a Pokemon for him. It was a freshly hatched Misdreavius. She was excited to meet Allister. She was floating in front of him and made happy noises. Cyllene couldn't believe her eyes! The little boy started to talk to the Pokemon, and to her surprise, he apparently could understand what she was saying!

"Can you really understand the Pokemon?" Cyllene asked. "Yes. At the age of four, I had a terrible accident that left me at Death's door. But ghost Pokemon brought me back to the living. I can since then understand their language." The little boy paused for a moment. "I can also see the spirits of deceased Pokemon." Allister explained shyly. To say that Cyllene was surprised and impressed would be a huge understatement.

Cyllene cleared her throat. "Alright, listen up. Your test is going to take place in the Alabaster Icelands. There is your best chance for finding many ghost type Pokemon! Akari and Rei will come with you." She said. "Understood!" Akari and Rei spoke up. "Oh, and Allister?" The child turned around. "Good luck!" He heard the woman say. He gave her a shy smile. "Thank you." He said.

The Alabaster Icelands were extremly cold. Thankfully, Irida gave him a warm coat. She and Adaman were there too. Both of them hoped that the boy would succeed. "Ok Allister, you can do it!" Adaman said with a bright smile. The ghostboy spotted a Haunter. He slowly approached the Pokemon. He spoke up now. "Hello." The Haunter turned around. Normally he was not very fond of humans, but this boy was different. He practically felt drawn to the child. "Haunter! Haunt?" The Pokemon said. For Allister's ears it sounded like "Who are you, Little One?" "I'm Allister. Do you want to be my friend?" The little boy asked. The Haunter smiled and let himself to be caught with the pokeball.

Adaman was impressed. "That was amazing! Now you have only two Pokemon left!" He gave the child a thumbs up. The next one impressed Adaman, Irida, Akari and Rei even more! A fully grown Dusknoir! The Pokemon looked very happy and he even gave Allister's head a gentle pat. "Incredible!" Irida said. The last Pokemon was the most unexpected. A Zorua! She was curious about the human boy. She sensed that he was something special. She walked carefully up to him. Allister was surprised that hisuian Zorua, and apparently Zoroark were ghost type Pokemon.

"Hey there." Allister said softly. He picked her up and she immediately nuzzled up to him. Allister touched Zorua gently with a pokeball. "How is that possible?" Irida asked wide eyed. "Zorua and Zoroark are normally very hostile towards humans!" She continued. "I told you he is an expert!" Akari grinned. "Good job, Allister!" Rei and Adaman said. "Let's go back now." Akari said.

Back in Jubilife Village, Cyllene waited for the child. "We are back!" Akari said happily. Cyllene noticed the Zorua in Allister's arms. "I see that you were successful. Can you show me the two other Pokemon, please?" She said. Allister showed her Haunter and Dusknoir. "Very impressive! Allister, you are now part of the Survey Corps, also known as Galaxy Team. Congratulations!" She gave him a uniform. "Put on the uniform and go to the upper floor. Kamado can't wait to meet you." Cyllene said.

A few minutes later, Allister was dressed in the Galaxy Team uniform. "You look amazing!" Akari smiled. Both were on their way to Kamado. As they arrived, Allister was greeted by a very tall man with a beard. "You are our newest member! My name is Kamado, nice to meet you, little guy! And now, let's wrestle!" Allister was very uneasy. "W-what?" He asked with a timid voice. The man laughed. "I was just joking, don't worry. I'm very impressed that you befriended a Zorua! You will be a fine addition to the Galaxy Team. Welcome, Allister!" Kamado smiled.

In the present day, Bea hadn't slept for two days. Raihan was worried about her. But he also understood that she was concerned about her little brother. Raihan loved Allister too. The shy little boy was always like a brother to him, and he hoped that he was safe wherever he was right now. Even Bede was worried. Everyone knew that the fairy type gym leader had a soft spot for Allister. The entire league loved the small ghostboy.

Yeonjun reminds me of @whoodz both very likeable and hilarious!! Immy writes the funniest comments and tags and gives off Yeonjun energy. They are also both very caring of others and make sure others are well and happy. Like they would both fight you for the ones they love???

Beomgyu reminds me of @woojong because hear me out, they are both witty and like to joke but have boundless energy and care really deeply about others. Irida has that kind of likes-to-clown-but-also-spread-love energy.

Taehyun reminds me of @takatamashi both very wise and full of knowledgeable but also wonderfully kind and will do so much for their loved ones!! They both have caring auras and Rachel is there for others, just like Taehyun is.

Huening Kai reminds me of @dongkwan because they are both sweethearts and impossible to dislike. Talking to Mary is like talking to a lifelong friend even though I have only known her a little while and she is very easygoing and takes things in her stride, like Hyuka!
