- is actually a decent cook, surprising i know, but he spent a lot of his childhood watching his mother’s careful hands as she crafted various meals, and managed to pick up a lot of things.

They did the Keepers SO dirty in Seabound!!! They’ve dedicated themselves since the dawn of time to preventing Wojira’s return, and Nyad herself was evidently a Keeper, but then Seabound actually rolls around and they end up doing nothing to help. Those annoying British guys who stole the amulet from them, the reason the Keepers can’t help, get to do more to prevent Wojira’s return than they do.

Idk it just frustrates me how Clutch and the Explorers Club literally stole from the Keepers but the show still acts like the ninja are required to play by their rules, as if the ninja don’t steal all the time from other bad guys. Because even if the show is making a joke about them being stuffy British guys, it’s still kinda downplaying their colonial aspect by portraying them as goofy comedic relief who get their time in the spotlight helping out, especially with how Clutch doesn’t even get a slap on the wrist for rendering half of The Island for nothing.

This is getting into conspiracy territory but I wonder if someone higher up realized the racial implications of the Keepers, but the sets were too far into development to redo everything, so they minimized the number of episodes they dedicated to The Island to brush past it as quickly as possible, and that’s also why the Keepers do basically nothing in Seabound.

Of course, despite the attempts to minimize the issues with the Keepers’ portrayal (making them not bad guys, it’s all just a misunderstanding and they even treat their prisoners fairly well!) the show still falls into some racist traps, like making them superstitious natives who get fooled by more ‘civilized’ peoples and need other civilized people to rescue them. Timothy gets to play a role in stopping Ronin using one of their catamarans, but not the Keepers whom Ronin was exploiting in the first place (and this is coming after Master of the Mountain, which did much more to give the Munce and Geckles agency against Vangelis).

And then the show tried to subvert the trope of natives worshipping a foreigner as a god… By having then sacrifice him to appease another deity instead. When you add all this and how the narrative acts as if the Keepers can’t be entrusted to protect the storm amulet (but Shintaro can), it comes across as deeply infantilizing. It’s also just wasted potential from a basic storytelling perspective, because these guys literally have lightning powers tailored to fight aquatic beings but then never interact with the Merlopians. Mammatus would’ve soloed Kalmaar.

NINJAGO MOVIE AU

(Repost cuz my phone is being dumb)

OKAY SO NINJAGO MOVID AU W ARIN, SORA AND WLYDFYRE SO HERE WE GO! But first big thanks to my friend @imotakkun who helped me come up with some stuff for this au 🤩‼️

First off, the ninja, when we saw them in the movie they were all highschoolers. But if we'll still applying some rules from the show we can assume they're all adults by now.

Now, at first, I was gonna have them be in college, but we have to take in how the movie ended. However, I did more thinking, and ninja's identities have been revealed, so it's safe to assume college and any part of their daily aspects have been affected.

So what happens? Well, first, I'm trying to figure out something equivalent to the merge, but I'm not sure if it's gonna an actual event this au as I don't want it being exactly like the merge.

But for the ninja, I came up with an idea. However, it's quite angsty. Well, Garamadon is now good, so the ninja have no one to defend ninjago from? What if this caused them all to slowly distance themselves, but before the final blow, what if Wu went missing? Wu going missing is what can be the final straw, and the ninja go there separate ways.

Yeah, that'd be pretty painful, I think.

Now I'm thinking that right after Wu disappears, something happens that like the merge can happen and cause all these people to go missing, and can open a new book of possibilities? But I'm still thinking, so if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to share!

Anyways so after this event, that's the end of the original ninja, and years go by and no one has seen them. Like in series I'll add a timeskip, but this one will be confirmed (lol) I'll say 5 years.

Now something like the merge has happened, all these new developments in Ninjago City, all these new people, and the world has adjusted. So when this big event happened Arin and Sora could be like 10 then after the timeskip they'd be 15.

OKAY, now to Ninjago High School!!! Let's start with Arin and Sora. In the series they seemed to get along with people well in the crossroads, so I would like to apply this to this au.

Let's start with Arin, first off, he's a huge ninja fan, who doesn't like the ninja!? I would like to imagine that the school has a ninja fan club which he'd absolutely be the president of.

Also, he's extremely friendly, so I think he'd be pretty popular having a great personality, being a ninja fan, and making some pretty delicious pies.

To add on, he'd also definitely be into an elective where he can bake, he'd also most likely be a huge history nerd. (Since in the show tells Lloyd about all the types of pie crust, also ninja fan sooo)

Now, to the angsty part of Arin, in the big event, like in the show, he lost his parents. And well, I'd kinda wanna make this au a tad more realistic, so, following the disappearance of his parents, the world's all in chaos. However, after a while since school is mandatory here, perhaps one of his teachers caught onto this and he was put in foster care.

Unfortunately, his current foster parents aren't all too nice :( So he spends most of his time in school anyway. Not that he minds, it just gives him the chance to better his school record for college.

Luckily for him he has a great best friend!

Sora!!!

Let's dive into her story. So to start off, she's definitely a stem girl, loves stem, is a huggeeeee stem nerd. I'd imagine she's as popular as Arin. They're just seen as that duo in the halls. I mean, why wouldn't she be popular? She's super skillful, independent, and smart! (Perhaps trans? 👀)

She's also really easy to get along with. She reminds me of those nice popular girls you see around school who are crazy talented and in all these extracurricular activities.

Speaking of Sora most definitely loves all things cats, and is a huge music nerd you cannot convince me otherwise. Though I can also see her being a huge gamer so she'd definitely be I'm her school's esports club.

Now, as to her backstory...like in the show, she's a runaway, and she often compares how much better her new school is compared to her old one. Especially since her hometown sucked.

Now, no one really knows where she came from. She was just there for freshman orientation. Since she'd good at tech stuff (and she's a good student), she'd be able to escape getting put in the foster system. Whenever someone checks her records, she can just hack them.

Now, for where she lives, this would be kinda tricky, but I'd like to imagine her working at a library, and her boss (Mr frohicky) let's her stay in the library over night.

And it's not all bad! Sora even discovered a secret room hidden in the library, which she turns onto her own room. (think of Amitys secret room in the library from the owl house) She just really loves it, and it's definitely her safe space.

Sora often has sleepovers with Arin in the library. The two get a bunch of books and blankets and make a tiny fort.

And since the library has computers and free wifi it's the ultimate spot for sleepovers.

Arin would often geek out about the Ninja and ninjago history, showing Sora books, videos, photos, and stories of the ninja.

And in return, Sora would show Arin a bunch of video games, music, and her current experiments.

The two talked about everything! Heck Sora even offered to hack Arin out of the foster system, he denied, though, as it was too risky, plus he didn't want her getting caught and also being put in the foster system.

But it was fine, as they spent most of their time in school, the two did almost everything together. They were the it duo of the school. They were friendly, skilled, and straight A student, so it was a no-brainer when they were called into the office to show the new student around!

Wlydfyre, well, she's wild, I mean, what can you expect from a kid who grew up in the wild? She would often go to the nearest junkyard and do what she could with what she found. Sometimes, she'd get caught, but she's too slippery to actually get caught. She'd often use her powers, too, which appeared out of nowhere, but she didn't question it. How did this girl never get restraint? Who knows?

Until she found someone like her, a guy with fire powers?? Kai had found the girl and, after a bit of talking, decided, 'I'm adopting this child', and without all the paperwork! It was a win-win situation, adopt kid, no paperwork, yayy!!

So Kai being Kai... sent her to a highschool...yeah kinda questionable on his part, but eh governments have done worse.

But that's a story for another time. What Arin didn't expect was seeing his best friend gain these magical tech powers?

It even shocked her. You see, they were in a tight situation, causing them having to defend themselves, so Arin did his fanboy spinjitzu, and Sora discovered her magical tech powers. Through this baby dragon??(where had he come from?)

After the two got away, and the baby dragon just?? Disappeared, they were wondering if they were both collectively hallucinating. But that thought would be broken when the police appeared and ARRESTED THEM?

Welp can't do much when you're in jail. Both were in a sort of panic as Arin didn't want to deal with his foster parents, and Sora had no parents, so she'd definitely get caught.

Luckily for them, they were released by their older cousin.

EXCEPT THEY HAD NO OLDER COUSIN? It seemed to be this blonde guy? They couldn't really see his face as he wore a hood, but something about him was familiar to Arin.

After they left the station, both Arin and Sora were pretty cautious because...well, stranger danger? But he did bail them out.

That was until the guy took off his hood which made the two do a double take.

It was THE green ninja, Lloyd Garamdon?

Lloyd had gone years without seeing any of the ninjas, that was until he and Kai had recently found each other again. And when he found out Kai had found a kid from the wild? And he took it under his wing. He definitely didn't think he'd see the day where Kai was taking on a mentorship kinda role, yet here they are.

But anyways Lloyd was lonely, and to put it lightly really, really sad. He had been alone for about five years. He'd often visit his parents, but they were currently off on a vacation, so it was just him. Man he really missed his friends.

He decided to be the sneaky ninja he was and go out at night and see what's up.

Well, what he didn't expect to see two figures, one doing spinjitzu and the other had..Elemental powers? Before he could go up to the two, the police got to them first.

Good thing he was a master of disguise.

Once he got them out of jail, he did NOT expect to see just two lil teenagers. It reminded him of when he was in highschool and well.

I'm assuming you've all watched the ninjago movie.

So when asked who was doing spinjitzu and using Elemental powers during the street fight. The two younger duo were well surprised.

Especially Arin, poor boy, was about to faint. As the two explained that it was, in fact, them, Lloyd was getting confused now.

They both achieved these skills, WITHOUT training?

He silently cursed Wu in his head. Well, he thought he could take them under his wing just like his uncle had done! How hard could it be? Right? Right?

Everyone screamed when the baby dragon from earlier appeared out of NOWHERE.

Yeah, Lloyd had his work cut out for him.

I kinda wanted to add some type of realistic affect to this au this yk talking about foster system and just generally child services (as i and ppl close to me have experinced it sooo) ALSO SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT. I just came across Sarada Uchiha's newest outfit design and all I can say is it is so obvious her outfit was designed by a dude. I cannot speak for women who have titties, but as part of the Haruno titty club (I prefer that to Itty bitty titty committee ☠️) no way in hell is that top staying up and covering everything. I have long ago completely given up wearing shirts/dresses designed like that because I have nothing to prevent them from falling down and I have to pull them back up way too often for my liking. Honestly I'm not sure if these types of tops even stay up well for women who do have titties, maybe they just shouldn't exist at all. Anyways. Sarada would last exactly 10 seconds in a ninja fight before she would be flashing everyone. They need to add straps to that outfit. Spoiler alert but female character outfits can look good and be at least the tiniest bit practical at the same time. I got other criticisms too but I'm just going to stop here. It's too early in the morning.

So, I have been brainstorming on what Team Arcadia, the human version of Team Prime and the Arcadians will be like. Arcadia is a fantasy land in the human verse where the elf Kinjiru and her family and the elven Commission live. As for where the human verse Decepticons, they live in a very dark continent where demons of Ars Goetia and such dwelled, seeking to claim Arcadia as their own land called Nidhogg.

Human Verse Autobots:

Optimus Prime - Aron (He's a male descendant of the Amazons whose magic amulet turns him into a manticore. Has dragonkin blood)

Ratchet - Rustlen (A tanuki and his amulet helps hide his animal form)

Bumblebee - Beckett (A plains elf whose animal form is a jackalope and has lightning magic)

Bulkhead - Trayne (A minotaur. He avoids beef, cause he feels that its considered cannibalism since a minotaur is part bull)

Prowl - Kitsu (He's a kitsune ninja whose an expert in illusions and controls black fox fire. He can transform at will)

Jazz - Tenko (An arctic fox-type kitsune ninja who controls snow and ice)

Sentinel Prime - Cyrrus (A male descendant of the Amazons and his magic turns him into a tigon)

Ultra Magnus - Leonidas (King of Arcadia, leader of the Elite Knights and friend of Elf Kougato. He has the power of lightning and transforms into a Nemean lion)

Rodimus Prime - Akira (Male descendant of the Amazons, Aron's half-brother whom they share the same dragonkin mother, and animal form is a tiger)

Orobas' true form is an anthro demon stallion with flames for a mane and tail and Eligos' true form is an anthro unicorn stallion with two horns and glowing blue wings)

Alpha Trion - Merlin (The one and only Merlin himself. His animal form is a majestic kirin)

Perceptor - Percival (A robot-like golem made of metal but is extremely intelligent despite his robotically monotonous character)

Blurr - Hermes (A storm elf birn with lightning speed and runs as fast as The Flash. His animal form is a cheetah with spots shaped like pluses and minuses and a lightning bolt-shaped tail)

Wreck-Gar - Rumpel (He's a troll who was an old elementary school drawing but was splashed by the waters of the Holy Grail, a very friendly but nit-witted troll who enjoys eating trash which helps the environment)

6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously (i.e. this horse wasn't supposed to look like the Last Unicorn but I see it)

Tbh I focus on a lot of theoretical biology for my mer stuff, for those I'd have to say either the 'ology' books and/or the Spiderwick Chronicles. I just love to break down the creatures in a practical or scientific way, but add into it like. More based in reality biology and anatomy and stuff.

Above are some of my favorite 'ology' books, and below are some of my favorite Spiderwick monsters! (Not to mention, the entirety of the SCP wiki. I live there some nights)

Oh yeah, and not to mention I also loved the How to Train Your Dragon and Neverland Fairies books as a kid.

Otherwise, I really enjoy werewolf movies. Like super really enjoy werewolf movies, my personal fav being An American Werewolf in London. I've found myself writing a lot of essays about the psychoanalysis of lycanthropy and werewolf transformation in film, as well as trying to subvert traditional lycanthropic themes in my academic art. But! I will always love werewolves. Here's a link to my favorite part of the movie, the transformation! (Warning for nudity (David Naughton's butt) and a lot of screaming and agony and some AWESOME practical effects. No CGI here!)

Second to last, I super love tarot symbolism such as seen in Dragon Age Inquisition. I used to run an Etsy (before I realized Etsy was stealing 2k a month from me) where I made custom handpainted tarot decks, my pride and joy being my Attack on Titan deck, though I had plans to expand to other fandoms including Critical Role, my own take on the Dragon Age tarot, SCP, etc. And a lot of others people requested.

Finally, I grew up non-denominational (and still am), so I find religious symbolism to be really prevalent, especially in my more recent works. Such as but not limited to sacrifice, lambs, the innocent, community, undeath, etc etc. Probably because of the severe lack of genuinely beautiful places to worship in my home country. Tbh, that's probably why I always end up playing an aasimar bard or monk in D&D.

I think those would be my subconscious inspirations, at least those that I could think of after sitting here for a bit. Other than that, I love dark fantasy and medieval style fantasy games like D&D, Dragon Age, and so forth. And media like the X-Men, Stranger Things, Lord of the Rings, Ghibli films, and a handful of anime that I find really fun! (FALIN ART INCOMING hOLY SHI-) Other than that I really aspire to reach the lever of artwork of Alphonse Mucha and traditional early renaissance artists like the classic greats. Aka the namesakes of the Ninja Turtles. I know I won't ever get there, but it's still very fun to try and emulate!

“Leonardo Cuts Loose”

Season 5, Episode 15 First US Airdate: October 19, 1991

A group of super-powered criminal bodybuilders pose a challenge for the Turtles.

The fifth season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rolls on with “Leonardo Cuts Loose”. David Wise is again on writing duty for this story, which aired back-to-back with “The Ice Creature Cometh”.

We kick things off today not with the Turtles, but with a montage in which different pairs of enormous men perform feats of strength while carrying out a series of robberies, in one case ripping an entire bank vault out of a building and walking off with it. Later, April reports on these events, and her broadcast is watched by the Turtles in the Lair. While the other members of the team are impressed by these displays of power, Leonardo assures them that their own intelligence and ninja skills will be enough to handle the crooks.

“TV Vision” isn’t among the most well-known TMNT locales, but it actually appears a lot in the show, typically whenever a character is on the street and needs to be provided with new information to move the story along. Watching April’s report there today is the vigilante Casey Jones, returning to the show almost two full years after his last appearance. Upon learning of the strongman crime wave facing the city, he announces to no-one in particular that he intends to strike back.

The Turtles monitor an upmarket health club, the “No Sweat Gym”, figuring that its clientele may be connected to the robberies. This turns out to be a dead end, but the neighbouring “Airhead’s House of Pecs” is a different story. Our heroes watch as two large men are given their marching orders by an even bigger guy, and track the duo to a factory. The burly robbers knock down the wall with a single punch, and the Turtles are ready to confront them until Donatello suggests this might be a bad idea: “If they could do that to a wall, imagine what they could do to our heads!”

While the team debate the best course of action, Casey Jones emerges to attack them, apparently not recognising the Turtles from their previous team-ups. The green teens explain that they weren’t the ones breaking in, and were actually trying to confront the crooks themselves. Casey pretty much declares his intention to murder the robbers, which is enough to convince the Turtles that they need to de-escalate the situation. They point Casey in the direction of a nearby jaywalker and head inside to tackle the raiders themselves.

In the factory, the robbers are in the process of obtaining supplies of steel until the Turtles intervene. A battle follows in which our heroes are barely able to put up a fight against their formidable opponents. After the strongmen rip out the building’s supporting girders, the Turtles are left buried under the resulting rubble and defeated.

Upon finding their bearings and emerging from the factory, the Turtles try and figure out a way to strike back. Donatello suggests he could come up with some kind of invention to increase their strength, but Michaelangelo is convinced that if he “thinks positive”, something will turn up. Right on cue, the team are greeted by April on her Turtlecom, who informs them that a gift has been delivered to Channel 6 that’s addressed to them.

Our heroes head to the station offices, where they find a multi-gym with a bow attached, as well as a note: “To the city’s number one crime-fighters, compliments of Wally Airhead.” April points out that as well as being the owner of the Airhead’s House of Pecs gym, Wally has his own exercise show on Channel 6. Leonardo is suspicious, particularly given that the two crooks who they faced at the factory came from there, but the other Turtles are keen to put the gift to good use. He continues to be wary later as he watches his team-mates work out with the equipment in the Lair, insisting that they don’t need more muscle, and should strike back using their ninja skills. Splinter adds his two cents, agreeing with his star pupil and warning the other Turtles that they might find out the dangers of their own approach “the hard way”.

While Leonardo leaves to practice ninjitsu in the training room, and Splinter heads off to... somewhere, the other members of the team all continue using Airhead’s gym machine. Unexpectedly, it seems to take on a life of its own, trapping Mikey, Donnie and Raph and wheeling itself out of the Lair.

Act two opens with Leonardo returning to find the other Turtles missing. The gym machine bursts out of the sewers, hurtling down the street and creating some entertainingly chaotic scenes as on-lookers run for cover. Eventually it winds up outside the House of Pecs, where Wally Airhead emerges to greet them.

Leonardo and Splinter attempt to get to the bottom of the disappearance of the other Turtles, and spot the tracks from the wheels of the gym machine leading out of the Lair. As he did with Mikey in “What’s Michelangelo Good For?”, Splinter doesn’t offer to help Leonardo rescue the others, instead insisting that the team leader needs to handle this himself. The team’s sensei does, however, suggest that Casey Jones might be able to infiltrate the gym on Leo’s behalf.

Wally Airhead chains the Turtles to a wall in his gym before using a giant ray gun to give himself a boost of “Strongium-90”, restoring him to optimum power levels. He explains to the Turtles that he developed this process through the synthesis of multiple strength-giving elements, and as a result is now able to command a unit of superhuman men. In capturing our heroes, he hopes to add their “turtle powers” to his formula, further enhancing his strength with the benefits of their “super hard shells and ninja discipline”. I’m not sure how he can transfer ninja skills, and it doesn’t seem like he’s planning to grow an actual shell himself so this all seems nonsensical, to put it mildly. In order to test the limits of their abilities, Airhead has his men bring in exercise equipment and forces the Turtles to begin working out.

Heading outside, Airhead orders two of his men to steal oil supplies in order to carry out the next stage of his plan. Leonardo witnesses this and tracks the duo to an oil refinery. While there, Leo runs into Casey Jones and prevents him from staging his own attack, pointing out that charging in won’t work and a different approach is required.

Leo and Casey head to Channel 6, where they engage in a research operation by watching tapes of Wally Airhead’s exercise show “Pump Yourself Up”. April helps out by bringing in file materials about the bodybuilder, which reveal that only six months earlier he was a fairly scrawny guy. (He also had blonde hair and grey skin for some reason, but that’s never brought up.) We learn that he was once a brilliant biologist specialising in the studies of human strength. Now convinced of what we as viewers already know – that Airhead’s size and strength came about through artificial means – Leo becomes determined that Casey will need to bring down the gym from inside.

After being reminded not to lose his temper by Leonardo, Casey heads into the gym and goes through the signup process, trying his best not to be goaded by Fitz, the obnoxious underling working at the reception desk. Elsewhere on the premises, Wally continues to berate the Turtles, who have been forced to exercise for three hours. Our heroes watch as the enormous man suddenly seems to weaken, stumbling back to his machine to top up his levels of Strongium-90.

Once Wally leaves, the Turtles try to figure out a way to foil his plan, with Michaelangelo again trying out the power of positive thinking. Moments later Casey arrives, freeing his allies with a hacksaw. Donatello begins working on a plan to sabotage Airhead’s machine, asking Raphael to find a flashlight, but a search of the gym’s facilities instead reveals what the bodybuilder has been plotting this entire time: a giant motorised metal boxing glove called The Blockbuster.

Donatello swaps out the light on Wally’s strength-giving machine for the flashlight provided by Raph, insisting that this will be an integral part of the plan. Casey, however, has never been one to listen to reason, and instead charges in to confront the gang of bodybuilders while the Turtles are mid-conversation. Now alerted to the presence of our heroes, Wally’s henchmen again tear down the building’s supporting girders (in the backroom of their own gym?!) to bury our heroes for a second time.

Unaware of the sabotage perpetrated by Donnie, Wally and his men recharge using his Strongium-90 ray machine. He then provides Fitz with a VHS tape as part of the next phase of their operation. Later, Leonardo sees the men wheeling the Blockbuster out the back of the gym. Sneaking inside, he helps free the other Turtles and Casey from the rubble they were buried in. The reunited team head out to find Wally testing out the Blockbuster, which decimates an old building.

Fitz barges into the control area at Channel 6 and orders Vernon to broadcast the VHS cassette he was given earlier, threatening to turn the reporter “into a pretzel” if he doesn’t comply. The Turtles and Casey just happen to be passing TV Vision when they see Wally’s message to the city, in which he demands five hundred million dollars be provided to him within the next fifteen minutes. If the folks in charge don’t comply, every building in New York will be demolished, beginning with the Supreme Court.

The Turtles confront Wally and his men, who expect this to be a re-run of their previous encounters. Things take a different turn when the villains become so weak that they’re brought to their knees, their previous boosts of Strongium-90 being nothing more than a flashlight shone at them thanks to Donatello’s sabotage. The Turtles easily defeat the strongmen while Casey uses his hockey stick to destroy the Blockbuster.

Later, the Turtles thank Casey for his help, with Leonardo pointing out that he hopes the vigilante has learned not to act in such a rash fashion in the future. Casey declares that he has indeed changed, and that the Turtles are looking at “The new Casey Jones”, before chasing a man down the street for discarding a milk carton (the same person, in fact, that he was accosting for jaywalking earlier).

Michaelangelo insists that unlike Casey, he has changed, and from now on will make a point of using his head – right before unwittingly hitting it against a nearby lamppost. There’s a definite sense of “we need a joke to end on, this’ll have to do” here.

“Leonardo Cuts Loose” is a perfectly serviceable non-Shredder adventure, which benefits greatly from featuring the return of Casey Jones. Seventy-five episodes have passed since we last saw him in “Corporate Raiders from Dimension X”, and his role here is much the same as it was then, acting as the man on the ground for the Turtles and getting into places otherwise out of bounds for them. It’ll be another two years before he pops up again in “Night of the Rogues”, his penultimate appearance.

One of the challenges with introducing new villains to the show is that if they’re regular humans, it tends to not present the Turtles with much of a challenge: “Raphael Versus the Volcano” was a recent example where this was taken to an extreme with Wilhelm Vanilli, a horticulturalist who was such a non-factor that he was actually defeated after having no direct interaction with the Turtles at all. What’s interesting about this episode is the team find themselves underpowered versus their opponents early on, and have to face the challenge of working around this. Wally Airhead isn’t a particularly complex or deep villain, he’s just a guy who felt compelled to become bigger and now wants to use his strength to shake down the city, but he poses enough of a threat to our heroes that it just about works. As lower midcard villains go I would be perfectly fine seeing him return for another go-around in the future, but as it turns out this will be his only appearance.

While covering last season, where the solo turtle spotlight episodes really started to become a fixture, I brought up how this format often has one member of the team break off to do their own thing, while the others tend to get stuck puttering around in the Lair until the end when everyone reunites for a big finish. This adventure is almost the reverse of that, with most of the attention focused on the other Turtles being captured; although Leonardo does get to do a bit of work trying to rescue his friends, the presence of Casey Jones also changes the dynamic. The title of this one is also somewhat misleading: In the figurative sense, Leonardo isn’t cutting loose at all, he’s advocating for the Turtles sticking with what they know and focusing on defeating the bad guys with their ninja skills throughout.

This is the last David Wise show of the season, but he’ll be back beginning with “Rock Around the Block” in 1992. Until then, the rest of the show’s rotation of regular writers will be handling things, beginning with the subject of our next Turtlethon entry, “Pirate Radio”.

Shadow of the Ninja Reborn delayed to summer, ‘Comparison’ trailer

Publishers Natsume Atari and ININ Games, and developer Tengo Project have delayed Shadow of the Ninja Reborn from its previously planned spring release window to summer, the companies announced. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam with English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language support.

In the west, Shadow of the Ninja Reborn will be available both physically and digitally for PlayStation 5 and Switch, and digitally for all other platforms. The console versions will retail for $29.99 / €29.99, and the PC version for $19.99 / €19.99. Retailer listings will soon be available on ININ Games’ website.

In Japan, Shadow of the Ninja Reborn will be available both physically and digitally for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch, and digitally for all other platforms. It will be priced at 4,440 yen.

Keep getting your eco up to 3000+, then add 2 4-2 cannon and save up for monkey temple. Get it to 3-2, then get 2 2-3 cannon around your super monkey (2-4 cannon is fine if you have 2000 eco before round 25). After get the +700 boost, keep buying +70 and + 700 boost and go buy a super monkey. Main while build 2 more 2-3 dark monkey and 2 more 4-2 dart monkey. After get your income to 750, save for +700 boost. keep buying +70 boost, and in the same time make 3 2-3 dart monkey and 1 4-2 dark monkey, place it in a stright line to make it deals tons of damage. Start the game with all 10 spikes, buy +70 boost, then get a 2-3 dart monkey. Use dart monkey, cannon, and super monkey. Anyways here is my way of passing round 85 in some defensive map. I don't get a point for why both ninja and wizard.

Hope all of you can use it to it’s full potential, or even alter it to make it even better. Use all four towers in their optimal spots, and wait to either win the game, or after about round 60 you should start lagging, intensely. Make sure to have enough MOAB as well as Bloon popping power. Keep expanding the constant development of your defenses. A good strategy is to get 3 or 4 and use them continuously for just awesome results! Don't forget to do economy whenever you get the chance. Don't use more than one at the same time, or else it might cancel the previous. You might be able to get more than one just to be safe. This ability will be a lifesaver throughout the rest of the game. Collect $8000 and then buy the Super Monkey Fan Club Ability. Getting an economy of 1500 should be just enough to get past round 30. Defeating them required a lot of Dart Monkeys and a 4-2 Ninja. Most players will be defeated on this level, weather Noob or Expert, the MOABs are just too strong. There is no easy-way-out-rushing, so you're gonna have to outlast. Sometimes, you just won't be able to do what you want, so make sure you don't make any mistakes. Your economy should be somewhere between 600-1500, depending on the game. Getting past round 24 and onto round 25? At this point you should have one Ninja and Magic Monkey, as well as 10-15 Dart Monkeys. Make sure it's in a good position, so you can get as many hits as possible on the MOABs! Playing Against Expert Level Players While on round 23 start building up a Monkey Ninja into a 4-2 build. The 15 Dart Monkeys should be able to handle the earlier MOABs, but that's not all that's coming out. Once you get to a $750 economy you can start saving up for the $700 economy boost.Īfter you buy that, you need to get some massive upgrades to be able to survive the later rounds. This is good when getting other towers to use their special abilities.Īll the while, keep buying the $70 economy boosts, and while those are recharging you can buy more and more Dart Monkeys. They have an ability that slows down bloons that come out by 50% for 15 seconds. Ninja's are also good for very late game. A fully upgraded Ninja can take out a MOAB if it has enough hit space. The massive advantage that a ninja allows you to have is amazing black and pink bloon popping power. Has it's limits, but they are really high. Destroys everything and anything passing by. In 12 seconds, or 18, a round of bloons can be halfway through the map. This doesn't seem like much, but $130 can be around 18 seconds of wait time, and if you bought the $70 economy increase at the beginning the wait time is still at 12 seconds. This is about $130 more than the Dart Monkey.

While it's first left side upgrade is really nice, allowing the tower to create mini sentry guns, it costs 450, and the upgrade costs 500. With the very cheap and insanely good upgrades, the Dart Monkey has to be in every loadout you make up.

if you're talking about season order, it goes Legacy of the Green Ninja, Rebooted, Tournament of Elements, Possession, Skybound, Hands of Time, Sons of Garmadon, Hunted, March of the Oni, Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu (? i can't remember the actual season title for this one), Prime Empire, Master of the Mountain, The Island, and then Seabound!

Specifically, if you’re using netflix to watch, then watch the “Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu” series first and then “Ninjago”!  They have all the eps in order, though the seasons are funkily divided in the “Ninjago” series.

if you're talking about fandom stuff, well, there’s no right way to go about it!!! a couple of super cool artists are @kraniumverse @ice-emperor-zane @art-i-chokedd, @spinbitchzu @weekend-whip, @httydbooks-doodler, and @lloydskywalkers fics and @northpen ‘s are often heralded as fandom classics (spoilers for different seasons ofc!) I’ve got my own writing buds in @fangirltakesall @precious-cosmos @only-lonely-stars @rosiehunterwolf and @starlightaxolotl (last fren is on a sb kick nowadays lol)  

there’s a little bit of fandom drama like any fandom has (right now the current one seems to be over various ninja parents i think?? idk i don’t keep up with it that much XD) but overall it’s v chill!
