Because I thought they had to grow those extra millimeters overnight

BUT scenes like this helped me figure it out!

It’s like some freak photosynthesis reaction that forms a crust OVER them. Fuck the clothes and jewelry and weapons though, there ain’t reason for that unless it’s made from them but that’s gold and metal, honey, and they seem to have a culture of no messing with hair for the ones that have it so no material there anyway lol.

No seriously it bothers me though. I’m positive this bothered me as a “dumb kid” too. And they shouldn’t be wearing clothes because there shouldn’t be need for clothes! Like I’ve ranted before: why eggs but mammary glands!? Why human reproductive and feeding organs when lay hard shelled egg? Why not at least streamline like reptiles or even just hippos? Why not-them turn stone too? Why eggs so fuckin big!? Why wings no functional?

And if related to Wyvern… WHY MAMMAL TRAITS SO STRONG!? That’s one HELL of a length of time between them and the common ancestor.

silly little thing, but exactly one year ago today i drew arthur for the first time and told my friends about the idea i had for an oc story. that story looks very different today, but they're still the same guys at heart, and i'm proud of how far things have come.

here's to the story taking less than another year to actually get off the ground, ha.

When working with Living Dead Dolls' Grace of the Grave, a medieval plague victim, I simply had to make her a medieval-styled illustration piece, and the best way for me to do that was with physical media. I didn’t feel like coloring them completely so I just slapped on their signature colors, this isn’t how their clothes would actually look. Plus I should probably research the time periods more before I settle on stuff. Either way, they’d mostly wear modern clothes but sometimes they’d be dressed from the time period they came from.

V is a priestess in training from the Aztec Empire and Lily is an onmyoji from Heian Japan. And due to getting-trapped-in-a-Crystal shenanigans they’re now in a magical girl team in modern day America

I’m all for fucking around and finding out but in this situation (trump & the billionaires trying to drag america into tech bro fascist hell) too many people are being hurt and too many more WILL die if things do not change. you do not need to forgive those who voted for him, you do not need to find the sympathy to feel bad for them now that they’re being affected by his policies. but we cannot turn them away once they turn on trump— and they are. too little too late, maybe. studying for the test after they failed, sure. but I’m so serious when I say this is not the time for perfectionism. this is the time to push a dictator & his cronies out with any hands that are willing to shove
