I’ve always wanted to draw what I think the various Deltarune weapons look like, and I figure why not start with the swords!

The Twisted Sword - The Axes - The Scarfs - The Rings

would rulers turn into swords like pencils

technically it may be so because you know about Eraser turning to Bounce Blade despite not being any kind of pencil.(maybe all weapons Kris wields turn only into swords? hmm. Kris has knight-like armour, and so far pretty much most of the knights we saw [including Kris i guess] had some kind of sword resembling different items [pencils, eraser. baseball bat???]< so it may also be weapon type for knights.)

and if rulers do turn in swords too...

what type of sword it'll be?

i personally think it'll be katana.

i tried putting Jack through concepts of Deltarune's world

and he wields a Steel Ruler in Light World

what turns into Unbreakable Katana in Dark World

sounds cool for me

Imagine how cool it would be when Susi and Ralsei find out that Kris has been working on the Knight the whole time. What if we had a fight against our own friends? And Knight will be an ally we can't control during the battle

Kris, knowing that their friends in real danger have to be on Knight's side for... Whatever thing they promised. Susie realising that Kris has been lying to her the whole time... I mean chapter 4 is already depressing i would love to see such fight

I've been thinking a lot about the fact that Kris' title changes to 'Sheath' after the final sword route fight, and how this works in concert with the 'Without play, the knife grow dull' line, and the possibility that Kris' current circumstances with it was arranged for a purpose, considering Kris' hidden agendas and discussions on the phone about promises, and mumblings of needing the soul for things (likely the banishment of fountains/own life to continue as it stands).

In this metaphor. If Kris is the cage, if Kris is the sheath, if the Red Soul is the knife, a tool to reach a goal they want dearly, no matter the cost, then when that discard line for the Hot Cocoa happens in Weird Route after all of the horrible shit that happens, it-

#deltarune #asks #drawings #asgore #spade #king of spades #spade king #asgore dreemurr #spadesgore #technically #king spade #no one asked but i want to elaborate #asgore describes colours in pairs not just because it might be the only colour theory he knows #but because thats also how he generally just sees. people and their traits #as if everything needs something to compliment #hence why he feels so out of place and useless to himself when hes not married/in a relationship #the way he describes yellow and purple are a good way to describe him and toriel in undertale #royal colours that are tied to hope but they only shine when theyre constracted against the grim tragedy that shaped them #with blue and orange it kind of describes sans and papyrus especially with how their comedic timing works #like when youre alone with sans in mtt resort the tone is a LOT more somber - colder #but when papyrus is by himself hes all jumpy and shit and he hardly seems as down to earth as he does with sans around #and red and green imo are the most important in analysing asgore specifically bc his weapon is red #but his shirt colour in post pacifist and deltarune is pink - literally a softer version of the cruelty we KNOW hes capable of #he describes it as just sort of -fitting- with the greenery he surrounds himself with and i think that mostly has to do with what he WANTS #all the plants and the greenery are ALIVE but almost toxic. meanwhile someone else most prominantly associated with red is rudy #the guys whole gimmick is having a bright red nose #its like asgore surrounds himself with the colour that would compliment the person he wants #or literally wearing their colours a la him and toriel having the same shade of blue on in undertale #and spade? hes just emo. he likes black because its a lack of colour - a lack of light #the reason he works as a good parallel to asgore in this sense is because he breaks asgores dychotamy and forces his own

In the last days of March, I saw this fan game on YouTube. I was so interested in the idea, the variety of dark worlds, and the characters design that I downloaded it myself and started playing.
