I feel like Rick and Morty gets an unfair amount of hate, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's perfect, but a LOT of people hate the show. Here's some of the reasons

The overload of incest jokes and incest episodes...ok this one's fair. BUT the non-incest jokes and episode are really really good overall, yes the show does have a few bad episodes like Rickdepedence Spray, but having a few episodes doesn't make the show as a whole bad, and after 70 episodes, it's garanteered that there will be bad ones.

Overload of Meta jokes, well I can understand this criticism with the meta episodes, the meta jokes really aren't too overbearing, you'll just get Rick doing a throwaway line every few episodes.

Rick is a "Too Cool To Care" protagionist, this criticism is made by people who only saw clips of the show, yes Rick can be nilishistic, but a part of his character arc is learning that it's fine to care about others, don't believe me? Do me a favor and actually watch the show, or at least Rest and Ricklaxation.

Of course this this my opinion and it's perfectly fine if people dislike it, but I feel like Rick and Morty gets wayyyyyyyyyyy too much unfair hate.

In The Vat of Acid episode after the whole thing with the plane girl but due to Jerry Morty went back, tried to talk to the girl but she didn't remember him and pepper sprayed him, and Morty accidentally had the girl continually spray pepper spray in his eyes multiple times, realizing he missed his chance with her, he kept going back to the Zoo ape cage over and over again and died multiple times but kept going back due to the remote.
