Sorry, for the delay in responding!

I went camping with my family for Easter and had no service out in the mountains. I had to climb upwards towards the bathroom to get some bars, which was a bit of a hike.

I just got back, so I'll be looking through all the messages and asks.

Matthew was certain that Robert Crawley was not going to be happy.

Maybe he could get away with insisting on the fact that the man was of his--their--same class, that him having a job certainly didn't take away from that. Maybe he could do that, and maybe it would work, but even if it did, he did not imagine he would take too kindly to the fact that Matthew had invited a man to stay at his home without telling him. It may one day be his home, and not Robert's, but, well, it wasn't yet, was it?

But that was perfectly fine. He would take his heat, because he had been asked for a favor, to give board to a nephew, and Matthew would never deny a request, not if it was within his power to help.

So, as he heard the car approach, he went outside to meet it, smiling as he did, as the man exited the vehicle. "You must be Mycroft," he greeted pleasantly. "Welcome."

On a forced but very needed hiatus.

I don’t like to go on hiatus but I have no choice. I will be back on July 26th, the doctor says I should feel way better this Wednesday but I can’t use my thumb for two weeks and, I need to use the little I can type for work.

I hate this but I must recover, yesterday morning not only my wrist was swollen but my entire hand and the doctor needed to make a procedure to stop the swelling. I hope this is the beginning of a full recovery otherwise I’ll have to get surgery.

How many asks do you have?

As of 1/13/25, I have 155 asks. I'm so sorry for the delay on them. I'm going to go through them and try to answer ones that aren't prompt/request related, so if a bunch about muns or mun speaks pop up, it's me cleaning it out.

I'll try to work on the prompt/requests ones this week, but I am also trying to work on my two HP fics. I've been a bit slow with all three projects taking up my attention.

Yet the wolf clearly wasn't intimidated as she continued to lay there in the dying grass. The seasons were changing, the weather getting colder, but it never effected her as much as other creatures.

In fact, it was the time of year few creatures came out of their warm homes. So this was odd.

Is it alright? As one arm slips around Manny's back, the other resting on his thigh--not too high, but certainly higher than decent--he can't imagine why it would possibly not be. Maybe it's a little soft, a little delicate for his tastes, but the man on his lap, warm and close, certainly feels good either way. He hums softly, looking up at him with something very nearly, dangerously close to affection. Or maybe it is, and he's just fooling himself thinking it's not.

"Sure it is." He shifts slightly, not out of discomfort, but to press a little closer him in effort to make a point of some kind. "This is just where I like you."
