“No. I don’t want anyone else in this restaurant.” The waitress blinked slowly, her expression smoothing into that vacant, cheerful obedience he’d seen so many times before. She smiled, of course she did, and turned on her heel without a word, vanishing behind the kitchen wall.

This place was one of his favorites in the city; it was quiet, tucked away, and entirely too charming to be spoiled by the noise of strangers and their whiny offspring. The idea of enduring chatter, clinking cutlery, or the smell of someone else's regrettable menu choice was offensive. Thankfully, he didn’t have to. He already had the only person he wanted across the table.

“I ordered for both of us,” he said smoothly, resting back with a smug kind of satisfaction. “Trust me, I know what’s best here.” He gestured idly with a hand, eyes fixed on her. “Now... you were telling me about your latest case?”

Behind the wall, the rest of the staff stood silent, lined up neatly, backs brushing plaster, eyes glued to the door. Should anyone try to enter, they would be stopped before their first step. Otherwise, they would remain exactly where they were. Still. Quiet. Out of sight. Just the way he liked it.

He leaned in, slow and deliberate, fingers brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. His thumb lingered just a moment too long on her cheek, light, possessive, like he was straightening something that already belonged to him.

“There. Much better.”

She looked perfect, of course she did. He'd chosen the suit himself, after all. The cut was impeccable, and the color was just right. Hair swept up the way he liked it, even if a few defiant strands had slipped loose to frame her face. He didn’t mind. It added a touch of softness.

It was a beautiful morning, really. And he sincerely hoped nothing ruined it. “I’d hate to be… irritated.” The way he said it was light. Polite, even. But underneath, it pulsed with quiet threat, like the edge of a knife hidden behind a silk ribbon.

Something I always wonder when I watch Jessica Jones: What happens if someone misinterprets Killgrave's demands?

Specifically, when he meets Luke, he tells him to "Get in the sodding van." Obviously, Luke understands his meaning and gets in the van, but what if there was a language barrier? Someone with limited English, who only uses it conversing with Americans, may assume he meant a van used for grass sodding.

And if by wild coincidence there happened to be a landscaping team nearby, they might hop in the landscapers' vehicle and be off to the next job before Killgrave realized what was happening.

I remember not too long ago I saw a post on here about the show and it said something along the lines of if you just sit back, relax and enjoy the show for what it is and like get out of the hate space of wanting to complain about everything and looking at other people complain about everything you will actually really enjoy the show for what it is. It's true. Born Again does have a different feel from the Netflix show but at the same time it does have a familiar feeling as well. Yeah the Netflix show was better but the fact that they even listened to the fans while they were filming and did an entire overhaul on the show is something I can commend. Yes I wish they would have done more with white tiger but I understand that the unfortunate passing of Kamar affected that. Yes I do wish they would have dealt more with muse and he had a full storyline and it was the biggest ball drop of the season.. No I didn't like them killing Foggy episode one but based on rumor and set photos, he comes back in season 2 adapting a comic storyline. Fingers crossed. I enjoyed the season and I enjoyed the finale (Frank tore that shit up) and I'm just happy to see characters that I love come back and they can easily expand and grow with season 2. I just really hope that they bring back the rest of the gang either for season 2 or for their own respective shows like Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, give or take with iron fist but they need to make sure they bring back Misty Knight.

Resumo:

Lipnía é, como todas as filhas de Circe, um produto de suas atribuições mágicas. Cresceu dentro do C.C Spa & Resort, desfrutando de uma criação completamente direcionada às artes da magia e usufruindo do rico material da biblioteca da mãe. Tornou-se devota das magias obscuras com o objetivo de atrair a atenção da mãe para si, mas não obteve o êxito que esperava.

Seu nome foi escolhido pela semideusa quando ainda era criança. Surgiu da junção do nome de duas Algea, sendo Ania a daemone que trazia dor psicológica aos homens e Lipe a daemone que trazia a dor emocional. O nome de Lipnia diz muito sobre ela, gosta de praticar uma misandria que chega a dar dor de cabeça.

Foi sequestrada pelos piratas com a derrubada do Resort, conseguiu escapar do barco com uma irmã e juntas passaram a sobreviver em Tristan Da Cunha, na cidade de Edimburgo dos Sete Mares, uma ilha no meio do nada. Acontece que, quando os poderes de Lip e sua irmã se manifestaram, um pescador concluiu que ambas eram criaturas divinas, dignas de um culto. Dessa forma, o homem mobilizou a comunidade e cerca de um ano depois, quase todos os moradores da ilha já cultuavam as garotas como divindades, e elas, perante todos os benefícios daquele culto, mantinham-se no personagem, aguardando o possível resgate de Circe para retornarem para a ilha.

Sua irmã morreu durante um dos ataques de sereias que costumavam receber na ilha, situação em que buscavam proteger os habitantes daquele local em troca da cega devoção. Lip, a deusa remanescente, manteve o culto a si mesma, adotando a métodos não convencionais vinculados à magia obscura.

Mas a festa chegou ao fim quando um barco se aproximou da costa e estava ocupado por um grupo de semideuses que, não somente identificaram Lip como uma das filhas perdidas de Circe, como a levaram para o acampamento em um resgate indesejado usando a desculpa que devolveriam a semideusa ao Resort.

Lip permaneceu no acampamento por achar tudo muito interessante e após os alertas, ainda que desejando fugir vez ou outra, ela não quis mais ir embora. Seu culto permanece vivo na pequena ilha e o seu algoz ainda a procura.

PODERES: Retrocognição - Ao tocar um objeto de grande relevância emocional/mágica, Lip acessa uma visão do passado relacionada ao objeto ou ao seu detentor. Normalmente, durante a visão, seus olhos adquirem uma colocarão amarela iluminada, sendo perceptível aos demais sua manifestação (mas pouquíssimas pessoas sabem disso, como Quíron, Dionísio e alguns poucos semideuses).

HABILIDADES: Velocidade sobre-humana e previsão.

ARMA: Possui um cetro feito de bronze celestial o qual usa como uma maça frequentemente (já que não faz ideia de como se defender usando ele). O cetro tende a retornar para ela, mesmo ela tentando se livrar dele por achá-lo inútil. EXTRA:

Faz parte da equipe dos filhos da magia, da equipe azul de canoagem e do clube de artesanato.

Possui interesse por pedras e cristais curativos, tal como pratica "magia obscura" através de práticas sexuais peculiares.

É grande fã de Fleetwood Mac.
