@secondhnd // phoenix, spring carnival
the allure of a carnival was enough to entice ayanna into leaving the house. there was something about funnel cakes, shoddy rides, and almost impossible games that she simply couldn't resist. they'd just finished playing some ridiculous game where they had to hit the target until it fell in order to win, and lost, swearing to themselves it had to be rigged. the next reasonable step was to treat herself to a funnel cake, strawberry topping and all. they made their way to one of the large carts in the center of the grounds and admired the lights and sounds of laughter around them. she'd have to remember to take pictures before the night died down so she could look back at them later. something of a sentimental being, she couldn't help but want to capture the essence of the community enjoying the space together.
before they made it to the cart they'd had their eye on, they spotted a familiar face in the crowd. what were the odds that she'd actually run into him again? she thought for a moment that she could pretend she hadn't seen him, but what would the fun be in that? funnel cake pushed lower on the list, they made their way over and walked up behind him, tapping his shoulder. "boo!" she called out, smile on her face and waving for phoenix to see when he turned around.

sage x ayanna ( @naturiisms ) | clearing in the woods | post-easter, early evening
with sweat sticking hair to their face, sage let out a huff and moved to sit on a rock, mumbling about "picking a spot to hang out that was too far out there" but also being so appreciative of the colorado landscape that it was followed up with a moment of beauty appreciation. pulling out her phone she snapped a few pics of the skies and trees, always making a note to save hiking memories when they happened. eventually her breathing evened out again and she pulled her hair into a messy bun -- then set back off, trying to find the spot she and ayanna agreed on. she would have been there sooner, but she got caught up at finders keepers, setting out some new finds and pricing them. before they realized it, they were thirty minutes over their shift and late to meeting their friend. an apology text had gone out, but if ayanna was as far into the woods as sage, they knew the text wasn't received.
after just a few more moments of walking through the brush, they noticed the familiar clearing just yards ahead of them, and a familiar silhouette in the distance as well. "ah! sorry for taking ten years," they yelled, picking up the pace to get over to their friend. finally they made it, collapsing into the field the moment they were able. "why did we pick a spot so far out?" with laughter filling the air in front of her, she kicked her legs gently until fully stretched out in the grass, not caring one bit about creepy crawlies inhabiting the space around her. "give me the tea -- what's going on in your world?" they hummed, buzzing with excitement from the developments she also had to pass on to her friend, but wanting to hear from her first. after a few moments of grounding themselves, they sat up and looked to the person she joined in the woods, green orbs yearning for some storytelling.

Bratty | Paige Bueckers x Female Reader
Based on this request
Summary: Y/n goes out with Paige and her team but catches an attitude and gets jealous when she sees paige engaging with another woman.
Warnings: Language, drinking, strap
A/n: bro idk what this title is so 😭😣. also BARE w MEEE, i am not good at smut so like pls, bare w me 😭. Had to rewrite this 38372 times cause tumblr kept deleting it 😣.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
“Y/n pleaseee” Aubrey pleads as we walk out of their practice. I came to Paige’s practice today since I had nothing better to do. Aubrey and Jana were currently begging me to go out with them.
“It’ll be so much funn” Jana says. “I don’t know guys. I have homework” I reply. “Y/n, you haven’t gone out with us in like.. forever. cmon. please? you need a break” Nika butts in.
I bite the inside of my cheek, thinking about Nika’s comment. She is right. The last time I had been out with them was for Paige’s birthday. It’s June.
“you still owe me from when you didn’t come with us on my birthday” KK says, wiggling her eyebrows. Fuck, she is right.
“Pleasee” Jana pleads. “Fine” I say, cracking. The team erupts into cheers and laughter. “we’re gonna have so much fun” Jana says, throwing her arm over my shoulder.
“yeah I guess, but get off me your sweaty” I say, throwing her arm over me. “can’t believe your coming out tonight” Paige says, putting her arm over my shoulder and laughing quietly.
I watch as Jana’s jaw drops. “Wow. So i cant do it, but Paige can? Fake” She says, putting her hand over her chest.
“Yeah, she can.” I say, nodding as we walk into the parking lot. “The favoritism goes crazy” Jana says, putting her hand up.
“she likes me more than you” Paige says, unlocking the car door. “That is so not true”.
“Oh whatever” Jana rolls her eyes, getting in her car.
☆☆☆☆☆
The music blares through the cluttered and humid club. Me, Jana, Caroline, and Ayanna are at the bar. KK, Aubrey, Aaliyah, Nika, and Azzi are dancing. Paige and Ice are interacting with fans as always. And Ashlynn, Qadence, and Amari are somewhere keeping the team alive with their soberness cause lord knows they won’t drink for shit.
“I’ll be right back” I say as I see Paige wrap her arm around this girl. “okay” Yanna nods.
“Who’s this?” I ask, walking up to Paige.
“Hey baby. Uh- this is Ari. we used to go to high school together. This is my girlfriend, Y/n” Paige nods, introducing us.
I nod, looking the girl up and down. Paige’s arm was around her shoulder, Ari’s hand was around her hand. The shit made me furious to say the least.
I roll my eyes, “Well i’ma go back to the bar”.
“Alright” Paige furrows her brows. I can notice the girl looking at me weirdly.
I walk back to the bar, hopping on the bar stool. “Who’s that” Jana asks.
I shrug, “Some girl Paige used to go to school with.”
“Mm” They nod. “You good?” Caroline asks, noticing my demeanor. “i’m good” I purse my lips together.
“What’s up with you?” Paige jogs to me.
“Nothing” I shake my head. “Bull shit” Paige sighs. “Uhm- cmon guys let’s go with KK” Jana says, grabbing Caroline and Ayanna.
“Why’re you over here anyway? go talk to Ari” I roll my eyes. “Oh so that’s what this is about?” Paige raises her eyebrows.
I look up at her, “What do you mean”
“This attitude shit you’ve got going on. It’s cause of Ari, hm?” Paige motions to Ari.
“I don’t have an attitude.” I scoff, my tone sassy. “Watch that tone” Paige hops on the stool next to me.
I roll my eyes in response, turning my head the other way. “You never answered my question. This attitude you’ve got is cause of Ari, huh?” She repeats.
“Again, I don’t have and attitude”
“You better watch that tone and attitude before I fuck it out of you.” Paige whispers in my ear.
“I don’t have a fucking attitude, paige.” I remark.
The next thing I know i’m bent over our bed getting absolutely destroyed by her strap.
“told you to watch that damn attitude.” Paige groans. All I can do is moan in response.
“Fuck.” is all i can manage to get out.
“feel good, hm?” Paige coos.
“mhm” I moan out.
“Use your words” Paige spits out.
“Fuck. yes, feel so good” I moan, gripping the sheets whilst Paige shamelessly thrusts into me.
Paige grabs a hold of my waist, speeding her thrusts up. “Paige. fuck, feels so good” I moan out.
“told you to watch that bratty attitude of yours. Now look at yourself. fucked out on my cock” She groans. She was right- i was so fucked out.
“Fuck- don’t stop. so close” I moan, gripping the sheets hard enough for my knuckles to turn white.
“Let go, baby. cum all over my cock.” Paige spews out, speeding her thrusts up more.
Her words combined with the speed of her deep thrusts causes me to let go. The knot in my stomach breaks. “Oh, fuck.” A string of pornographic moans leave my mouth as I cum.
Paige rides me through my high, “that’s good.”
She eventually slows down and pulls out. “God dammit, paige.” I catch my breath, turning over.
“Can’t say I didn’t warn you.” Paige says, a cocky smirk growing in her face.
“Oh, shut up.” I groan.

Slow Burn Tendou x f!reader
Chapter 2 - Lunch Date
WC: 1734
OC’s below:
Daiki, Ho-sook, Jules, Sofia - Readers high-school friends
Jazmin - Daichi’s girlfriend
Lysette - Ushijima’s girlfriend
Ayanna - Kuroo's girlfriend
I have tried to keep any identifying information out (body type, skin tone, hair color, etc.) but there may be some instances where it alludes to a curvier y/n.
Thank you so so much to all my beta readers so far, especially @hispipsqueak, @lemonadencran and @anime-nymph
Once again, you found yourself closely following Tendou as he walked through campus. And once again, your mind was telling you that it was a bad idea but your body did not care to listen. Following around an upperclassman on your first day of orientation? You were pretty sure you had heard horror stories like this on the internet before. You slowed down, looking around to see less people and more nature. Tendou looked back at you as you stopped in your tracks, looking around at the trees and flowers that surrounded you.
“Are we even on campus anymore?” You asked, taking in the beauty around you but still trying to remain vigilant.
“Well technically, no. But also kind of. This is a park that the school owns, but it’s not considered part of the campus. It’s right here though so a lot of people come here to study, eat lunch, and sometimes they even come here on dates…” He said, wiggling his eyebrows in a cheesy way. That brought a smile to your face. You guessed that he could sense the tension that was radiating off you because he added, “Hey you know, I’m not trying to make you uncomfortable or like, do anything weird. I just noticed that you were stuck to yourself for most of the day and thought you might need someone to help bring you out of your shell.” He said, his voice no longer holding the sarcasm or teasing tone from earlier.
“Sooo, you started talking to me because you felt sorry for me?” You asked, your eyes narrowing slightly as you looked at him.
“Well no. I mean yeah, but no. I didn’t feel sorry for you! I just thought you might like someone to talk to, that’s all. Friends are hard. Ah-. No, what I meant is making friends can be hard and mayb-”
You cut him off as you erupted with laughter. It was now his turn for him to narrow his eyes at you. “Sorry, I had to,” you said in between giggles. “You’ve been teasing me since you started talking to me and I had to get back at you somehow.”
It was now Tendou’s turn to blush, the tips of his ears almost blending in with his hair. “Yeah yeah yeah. Do you want to come eat with me or not?”
You nodded your head, quickly walking to catch up to him. You smiled up at him, reaching around to grab your lunch from your backpack as well. The two of you continued to walk in silence, Tendou peeking at you every now and then. As if he could read your mind, he turned down a side path that led to a small concrete table with stumps for chairs. He smiled as he ushered you to the table, pretending to dust away the dirt and leaves as he sat down and looked at you, expecting you to follow suit. You smiled, sitting down across from him and unpacking your lunch. Tendou smirked as you pulled out a pb and j sandwich along with a small bag of blueberries. “A simple meal for a simple girl I’m guessing?” He said, his cheeks morphing into a soft pink as you smiled at him.
“Simple meal, yes. Simple girl? Probably not.”
He laughed, his eyes lingering on you a moment longer than necessary before pulling out his lunch.
For some reason, you expected his lunch to be over the top, much like his personality seemed to be. But of course, going against what you thought you knew about him, he pulled out a container with white rice and steamed veggies. Tendou watched your face as you eyed his lunch, trying to gauge your reaction. “Not what you were expecting?” he said, the tone of his voice teetering between sarcasm and teasing.
“As a matter of fact, no.” You said, smiling and unwrapping your sandwich. “I just assumed that you would have something much more complicated, much like your personality.” You glanced at him through your eyelashes, trying to read his face while he stared off into the trees deep in thought.
“I guess it’s a simple meal for a complex guy…” He said, his voice almost a whisper. You looked up at him, no longer hiding the fact you were trying to read him. He was there physically, but the look in his eyes said that he was anywhere but.
Like a snap of the fingers, his eyes were focused back on you and his guard back up. Even if just for a moment, you could see what you thought was the real Tendou. Not the mask he put on for other people to see, but the real, raw emotions that were Tendou Satori. He smiled, waving his hand in front of your face. “Hellooo. Earth to y/n...Anyone in there?” He said, laughing softly as you shook your head and brought yourself back to reality.
“Sorry...I get lost in my head sometimes…” You said, trailing off as you took a bite of your sandwich.
“Nope nope...I get it.” he mumbled as he pulled the top off his lunch.
You two ate peacefully, conversation flowing naturally between the comfortable moments of silence. You and Tendou both jumped slightly when his phone rang, Tendou fumbling with his bag to get it out. He got up to take the call, walking past you towards the main pathway. You looked back at him, popping a blueberry into your mouth. Before you can turn back around he locked eyes with you, a silly smile spreading across his face. In return, of course, you couldn’t help but smile back, dramatically rolling your eyes before turning back around.
The butterflies in your stomach felt like they were going to lift you into the air. You had known this man for a few hours and yet he was creating emotions that you were unfamiliar with. It wasn’t that you never had a crush before now, more so that you had never felt so comfortable being yourself around another person. In theory you could be open with your friends, but it wasn’t necessarily the most authentic you. Most of the time, you had to put on a mask of some kind whenever you interacted with anyone. You felt as though you always had to be “on” around them, always ready for any joke or jab they threw your way..
But around Tendou, for some reason, you felt relaxed. You could enjoy the silence around you, observing your surroundings as a temporary part of the scenery. It was almost like he could sense when you wanted to joke around and when you wanted to just exist; but nothing more. And this was after only a few hours of being acquainted with each other.
You were once again lost in thought as Tendou walked back toward the table, his hand lightly squeezing your shoulder before sitting down across from you. “Kuroo just called and let me know that the groups are going to be meeting back up in about twenty minutes so we should head back in ten.”
Tendou smiled softly before looking down at his lunch, the look of disappointment that swept across your face for a brief second caused his stomach to flutter.
“Not going to lie...I am actually enjoying it out here. The orientation is just a bit much for me, especially since I don’t really have that much in common with my group.” You said, taking the last bite of your sandwich before balling up the trash and shoving it into your bag. Tendou nodded his head, slowly chewing the veggies as he thought over your statement.
“Yeah I could see that. This group seems to have a lot of people who already know each other. I’m guessing from high school since a lot of them are commuters. It’ll be easier to get to know people in your dorm and the café.”
“Well maybe if someone didn’t steal me away to each lunch by ourselves on my first day I would have met plenty of people…” You mumbled, finishing off your blueberries with a smirk.
Tendou closed his container, slipping it back into his bag. “Or maybe I just needed to make sure I got to leave a good impression on you before you met anyone else on campus…” He murmured before quickly standing up and tossing his bag over his shoulder. “Alrighty then. Ready to head back?” He said, almost a little too loud for the setting you were in.
You smiled, standing and dusting off your butt before slipping your bag on. “Yes yes. Let’s hurry back before we miss any of the ‘super fun-tastic activities’ they have planned for us.”
Tendou reached his hand out, looking back at you as he waited. Grabbing his hand without much thought behind it, you began walking back to the main path. You both stayed quiet for a moment, walking slowly towards campus. “You know...Suga would be so hurt to hear you say that...He and Kuroo planned all this out just so you all could have a ‘super fun-tastic time’.” He said, sarcasm dripping from his voice. You rolled your eyes, nudging him with your shoulder.
The comfortable silence once again fell over you two, your mind wandering while Tendou led you both back to the group. Before you knew it, the two of you were surrounded by freshmen in bright orange tee shirts that matched your own. It wasn’t until you heard hushed whispers and giggles that you realized you and Tendou’s hands were still locked together. You slowly let go of his hand, intertwining your fingers together in front of you as you looked up at him. He smiled, dropping his guard slightly as you two locked eyes. It was just for a brief moment, but you saw it.
Daichi blew his whistle, signaling for everyone to quiet down. Kuroo texted Tendou, telling him to get his ass up to the front with the rest of the leaders. Before jogging away, he patted your head, causing a few people around you to laugh and your cheeks to instantly turn to fire. You pushed at him as he turned around. “Eww go away.” You laughed, already missing the feeling of him standing beside you. He turned back around and winked, causing even more people around you to whisper and chuckle.

Anduin x Ayanna
Is it alright if I make a part 2
They have Hearthstones linked to Anduin’s bedroom and Ayanna’s apartment. It makes it easy for them to see each other without detection.
If Anduin is reading or going through paperwork, Ayanna likes to crawl into his lap and lay her head on his shoulder. She may not understand, but when he talks about a book he’s currently on, she’ll listen to him.
Their relationship is known by very little. They had agreed on keeping it a secret, which didn’t fit well with Anduin. But remembering Onyxia’s manipulations on Varaian, Ayanna could be killed, even though she doesn’t have cruel intentions.
There’s times where Anduin has to literally drag Ayanna out of bed in the morning because she’s a heavy sleeper and hates waking up early.
Ayanna doesn’t like to use pet names. She prefers to call Anduin by his name. But there’s times where she’ll call him “Eyebrows” “Little Lion” “Blondie” “Holy Man” “Jerek”
Ayanna will bump her horns on Anduin’s forehead if he starts to doubt himself or does it as a playful gesture.
Ayanna can get jealous when Anduin interacts with another woman. She knows she has to restrain herself, but when they’re alone, she’ll act more affectionate than normal. She’ll say she loves him multiple times or ask about said person.
On most cold nights, Ayanna will sometimes sneak into Anduin’s room where she likes to squish against him in a blanket.

@chqstarter // open ʚ🍓ɞ strawberry festival
participating in community events was number two on ayanna's big list of making friends in denver. they had been looking forward to the strawberry festival since they'd seen the flyer hung on the bulletin board in the cafe lobby. a whole weekend dedicated to strawberries, art, and music. as a lover of all things delicate and pretty, it was an absolute dream for them, finding themselves immersed in the activities the event planners had set up all around the grounds. they'd started at the jam booths, planning on stocking up for future charcuterie boards and bought as much as they could ( reasonably ) carry in the picnic basket they'd brought. as they made their way to the strawberry fields to pick fresh ones to take home, they noticed an area set up near the stage with games. the inner competitor in them couldn't resist and they found themselves walking over to observe what their options were.
cornhole. ayanna was an absolute cornhole master. taking this as the perfect moment to meet new people, she walked up to the area and looked around, seeing if there was anyone in charge of the game. after noticing that it was play as you please, they went to one of the stations and set their basket down. "hey," they called out to the person walking by and hoped to catch their attention. "do you wanna play cornhole?"

@secondhnd // phoenix, his apartment
the path hadn't been as familiar or straightforward as it had been in their mind. in fact, they were sure they'd ended up going in circles at least a few times. after what felt like ages, the buildings began to look familiar and as she took in her surroundings, she could've sworn she'd left the house well before the sun was due to set. still, the colors swirled in the horizon as the target apartment building came into view, a breath of relief escaping as they picked up their pace and bounded toward it. approaching what ayanna thought was the right door, she gave it a good few knocks, before calling out. "phoenix? are you in there? i'm super thirsty and super bored and i might have taken a treacherous trek to get here so you have to let me in! and if not, i know you don't lock your door!"

@xallmywolvesx // melissa, l'arte district art walk
the month of may in denver had easily been filed away in ayanna's favorites, much due to the art walk hosted each weekend. the rich art culture was among her biggest deciding factors when packing up and getting to the next town, and so far, it hadn't disappointed. walking up to a particularly large arrangement of paintings, ayanna stopped and hummed in admiration to themselves. looking over their shoulder, they noticed the presence of another, flashing a smile before returning their focus to the paintings in front of them. "i love how they're connected through the frames. like the artist is telling an amassment of small stories that all collect into one big one."

@banksrainicr // their apartment
the new living arrangements hadn't taken long for them to get used to. banks had become just as integral to her day to day as erin, and most days it felt like banks had been here as long as ayanna had. she often had to remind herself it had been his apartment before it was hers. bounding into the living room with a wide grin on her face, ayanna flopped herself down onto the couch next to him and leaned over to rest her head on his shoulder. "hi banks, it's me, your favorite roomie, here to bug you before bed." they both knew erin was his true favorite, but ayanna liked to take her wins where she could. besides, if he argued it, that was an open door for them to poke fun at the obvious tension between the two. "what did you get up to today? do you want some hot coco?" they asked, raising their head off of his shoulder to look at him quizzically.

@owenrobinson // murder mystery fundraiser, denver public library
brown hues wandered around the room for a familiar face instinctually, a bit of disappointment washing over ayanna as they remembered that their friend no longer worked at the library. it should have dawned on them before coming to this event in hopes of seeing them, she realized, continuing on into the room. the disappointment was quickly replaced with excitement as they spotted owen, remembering him from the strawberry festival. walking over, she tapped his shoulder and waited to get his attention, grin plastered on her features.

@musesoface // kyro, swolemates
"are you sure we can't just pretend that we did it again?" they pleaded, sweat rolling down their forehead. they never would've imagined that so much work went into a proper uppercut, ( or that the power came from their legs ), but their lessons with kyro had proved them wrong entirely. wiping at the sweat with their long forgotten tshirt, she did her best attempt at puppy eyes. "even if i ask really nicely?"
