This serves as a metaphor about the importance of chronicling history. “I think learning about people from the past to determine how we see each other and present ourselves as living here now is one of the [important] themes,” Yuasa said.

You know that moment in Mind Game where their running out the whales mouth and that one guy broke his leg running up the water and thought "Damn, should have drunk more milk" then it cut's to his mom putting more milk in his food so his leg snaps back to place
Yeah, that Ginro joke was like the inverse of that
That sort of shit from Mind Game always kills me when it happens. Like, something will just go completely awry and then a memory will kick in where it's like "Wait; that shouldn't happen" and reality goes "Oh yeah, that's right" and just undoes itself no questions asked.
"I can't believe I lost my keys. WAIT A MINUTE; I'd NEVER lose my keys! Here they are right here!" after already checking everywhere and finding nothing.
Today Ginro learned he does not have the ability to fake that power.

All that you see of the bodily pleasure is nothing but purely a mind game. It is quite worth the observation that a sight or sound though at first may have made you feel some demonic pleasure would soon turn out to be some dead matter that doesn't evoke a thing. Mind is forever excited and aroused at newness. The trick is to forever fool the mind, offer the same drink another night, but with a different label or in a different glass. There is no shortage when it comes to creativity in making love. Just like Rumi once said: There are a thousand ways to kneel and kiss the ground...

The Game (you just lost it)
In the 2000's, shouting the phrase "I just lost the game!" in a crowded room would garner cries of dismay. In the 2020's, it's more likely to be met with looks of confusion.
The Game is a mind game in which players try to avoid thinking about The Game. If a player thinks about the Game, they lose, and must announce it in some manner, furthering the ripple effect of losses.
The Game's origins are still unknown. Its first online mention occurred in a blog post in 2002. Some believe its roots stem from another game called Finchley Central which has similar gameplay mechanics.
What's the point of the Game if you can't win? And why did people play it? One reason for its popularity may be that it encouraged players to creatively prank each other using hidden notes, graffiti, or unexpected mentions of the Game in media or online spaces.
Reportedly an Ohio high school banned the Game and threatened its students with suspension due disruptions and an inundation of notes littering the campus.
While there is no official way to win the Game, some players have stated it will end when the Prime Minister officially states "the Game is up."
On March 3rd 2008, webcomic artist xkcd posted "Anti-Mindvirus", releasing players from the Game, which may explain the decline of the Game's players thereafter.
