Steddie kinda famous AU(?) | Genderfluid Stevie <3 | Eddie is a rat man and I laugh at him (I would probably be like that if I was Steve Harrington husband but that's not about me) | Live laugh love Stevie | Pushing the history teacher Steve agenda because he's a variant of Hob Gadling >:D
[I'm sorry if it has errors it's been a while since I had written something in English (it's not my first language) so whatever mistake I have feel free to tell me and I'll edit <3]
. ° — ° — 🌟 — ° — ° .
Corroded Coffin seemed to be popular, things were getting better for them, they still had to do part time job because of that 'what if?' but things were going well. Definitely.
In an interview they asked about a song, the meaning. And the shit man Eddie Munson is, he answered with a grin on his face "That's about Stevie, as most of them".
And the fans went crazy, trying to find someone with that name in the Corroded Coffin set or working at some usual bar they played at.
"They is a history teacher" Eddie Munson told the world in another interview "and we are married" he showed the camera a ring he had next to his guitar pick on his neck, he had the biggest smirk on his face.
Then Corroded Coffin were guests of a fundraising gala, they were asked to play at it to attract more people. It was a fancy gala tho, everyone was in their bests dresses and all.
"This one's for my beautiful angel there, who looks as gorgeous as always" And Eddie winked at a special balcony of the vip guests.
Most of the public saw Eddie laughing softly, but they didn't know why. In that balcony a lovely brunette in a marion blue dress gave the guitarist and second voice of Corroded Coffin the middle finger as he had a stupid lovely gaze on their face while she blushed a little.
"Yeah love ya too sweetie" Eddie chuckled before starting with the show.
Later at the gala people saw Eddie Munson next to the tall brunette in that marion dress.
"So are you Eddie's girlfriend?" An interviewer asked, he looked at Stevie with those eyes Eddie didn't like.
But Eddie laughed as he waited for Steve's answer, that was going to be good as hell, they had the bitchy face on.
"Not a girl" Steve smirked "And definitely not his girlfriend, nor boyfriend, nor partner" She looked down at the man, who seemed so little compared to them "He's my husband"
"I am" Eddie smiled so stupidly in love as he looked up at Stevie, who usually wasn't that tall but with the black heels they was wearing today the difference was more than usual.
"Uh— Yeah" The interviewer looked at different places to get outta there
"You got any problem with that sir?"
"N-no it's perfectly fine ma'am— I mean sir— I mean—"
Steve snorted "Come on darling, let's go somewhere else without this kind of people"
And where Stevie went Eddie followed
The amount of edits with the song 'walk em like a dog' after that gala were more than years the Earth has.
"Teddy, look, another one" Steve chuckled as she showed Eddie his phone.
"Stop with that, you menace" Eddie laid down on the couch, next to his significant other, trying to take their phone away playfully.
"Erica is going to bully you so bad" Stevie giggled.
"And Red too" Eddie sighed "Jesus Christ, Stevie I am like that always?"
"It's cute"
"I hate you" Eddie muttered as Steve put on the baseball match of today.
"Love you too sunshine" She smiled softly as they started playing with Eddie's hair.

Deja Vu
-❣️-
Royal Guard No.1 stood in front of his home – his old home. He smiled, looking at how well-kept the outside was back in the day.
"Hello," chimed a young voice from behind No.1. No.1 turned to see a bright-eyed young boy in a little vest and tunic.
He saw himself.
"Greetings." No.1 replied back.
The young No.1, Ken, held his hands together in a meek sort of way. Ken tilted his head. "Why are you in front of my house?"
No.1 took a few steps away from the door, a tinge flustered. "Oh, I just… got a bit nostalgic."
Ken tapped his little foot. "No-stal-gic. Nostalgic. Nostalgic. That's a fun word. I'll look at what it means later." Ken smiled. No.1 sighed. That's what he missed – smiling this much. The desire to learn more. All of it.
Ken walked up to No.1 until they were practically on top of each other. Ken commented, "That's a nice mustache. I like it."
No.1 touched his mustache, as if he forgot it was there. "Hm. I don't believe I receive compliments for my stache that often. Thank you, I suppose."
"You're welcome." Little Ken seemed to glow every time he smiled. Ken looked up and down at No.1's outfit, then gasped. "Are you a royal guard?"
"Why, yes, I am." No.1 was taken aback, though he shouldn't have been so surprised. He did his research on practically anything wearing armor. He owned a few copies of books detailing the extensive defense system of Daventry. Of course he himself would recognize the royal guards. No.1 added, "As a matter of fact, I am captain of Daventry's royal guards."
"You seem very brave." Ken declared.
"Well, yes, that is one of the traits that makes a guard truly successful," No.1 tapped his finger to his chin.
"Truly successful…" Ken looked up with starry eyes. "Can you teach me to be brave, captain?" Ken clapped his hands. "I wanna be big and strong and brave like you. Then I can defend people… successfully!"
No.1 chuckled, seeing his younger self so excited. He missed this. "Alright, though I'm unsure how to train bravery. It's… simply something you learn."
Ken gave a quiet 'Ooh…'
"How do you become brave? If you're not just born brave," Ken asked. "Is it something you learn from other people, or do you do brave things to get better?"
No.1 out a hand to his chin. "A bit of both." The captain knelt down to his child self's level.
"'Doing brave things' doesn't just happen just because you want to do it," No.1 explained, "Occasionally… Your fear can oppose you. And that can be a challenge to deal with. You have to fight your own fear."
"Fight your own fear… how?" Ken gestured, mimicking claws. "Does it have a face like a dragon, or does it live inside your head?"
The word 'dragon' was a bit too much. No.1 rubbed his scar, yet kept going. "I suppose fear can look like anything, or nothing at all. You just have to persevere, if you know that word yet."
Ken giggled. "I do! Persevere – It's when bad things happen but you keep going. Like bravery!" He bounced on the balls of his feet. Then paused, tapping his chin. "What if it's something really scary? The scary that makes you stop moving."
"Well, if you feel like you can't do it alone, know you have allies - people who care about you." No.1 patted young Ken's back.
Ken's gaze wandered to the scar creeping up No.1's neck. "Were you afraid? When you got that scar?" He asked.
No.1 shivered at the thought. The claws and venom and a massive array of draconic heads…
"Yes... Yes, I was afraid. I still fought, even when I felt powerless. I got what I came for, and that's what mattered." No.1 took a shaky sigh. Ken, with two soft hands, took No.1's hand and massaged it – like how Mum did when he was younger. No.1 subtly wiped a tear from his eye. "I learned then not to get too ahead of myself. And that I had people who could guide me back to safety if I went too far."
"My mum and dad are like that, they help a lot…" Ken's gaze fell to the floor, thinking. "But… sometimes other people are not helpful safety people. They think I'm strange, so they aren't nice all the time."
No.1 leaned in close, touching foreheads with his younger self. "Look, Ken. No matter what obstacle stands in your way, fight for what you believe in. Hold your ground, and defend your beliefs."
No.1 shook his head, masking his tears. "Don't let anyone treat you with disrespect."
"Hold your ground… defend your beliefs." Ken repeated the words. "That sounds like something a brave person would do. I'll make sure to do that."
Ken looked up at No.1 "You sound like a very good captain. I bet people like you a lot, and you have lots of good friends, because you're perseverant." He bounced, starry-eyed. "I wanna be just like you."
No.1 smiled through his mustache. He hugged the younger Ken tight. "Don't worry. You will be."

a/n: there were a lot of songs that i listened to while writing this (animals) and i do have a playlist of them but i would recommend color tv to listen while reading the flashback part bcs i did write this part with that song on repeat lol. enjoy!
All the world and his wife was scrutinizing Ken Sato the moment he stepped out of the airport and took his first deep breath in his homeland after twenty years. Of course, he welcomed and basked in the attention even if it suffocated him—quite literally, he must add, what with how the reporters and photographers were almost wrestling each other to get a scoop on him. What came after that only gave him a headache after a headache. He had to settle in his new residence, a mansion he bought just 15 minutes away from where his father lived, one that felt way too big for just one person and his supercomputer assistant. He finalized his contract with the Yomiuri Giants, followed by a meeting with all the staff members and a less-than-formal outing with his new teammates to some club in Shibuya he didn’t bother to remember the name of, where he was just constantly reminded that he was alone. The day after that, he had to deal with a hangover, a press conference, and an interview that ticked him off—Ami Wakita, was it?—before ending the night with a bar fight that left his shoulder aching.
Ken was sure he wouldn’t even have considered moving back to Japan nor would he have let his father somehow slip back into his life if it wasn’t for his mother.
With his injury, your father needs you, kiddo.
And so, Ken Sato began his baseball career in Japan with the Yomiuri Giants. He brought the team to their first victory of the season despite a lot of things: how the media was still on his ass about why he would leave his career with the Los Angeles Dodgers behind, how Coach Shimura seemed to have a chip on his shoulder when it came to him, how the pain in his own shoulder would stab and dull with every movement he made. The way his shoulder ached left him wondering if he should have treated it more seriously rather than seeing it as an inconvenience, perhaps put his pride aside to admit that yes, that drunken brawl was fucking stupid, and my shoulder fucking hurts. That was why he didn’t think much of it when Coach Shimura was talking about bringing in some new guy—something about a new performance analyst or whatever—as a matter of fact, he couldn’t care less.
So, imagine his surprise when he showed up to practice and saw a face he hadn’t seen since graduating college in the States. A face that made his breath hitch because one, she was just that beautiful, and two, he had no idea why she would be here. A face that was so familiar he almost threw up from shock, anger, guilt, longing. A face that contorted into contempt at the mere sight of him.
Ken Sato was sure of one thing at that moment.
He was completely, utterly, thoroughly fucked.
Tumblr media
Ken Sato wasn’t always the famed world-class baseball star he turned out to be, and she wasn’t always the blunt and tight-lipped new analyst for the Yomiuri Giants she turned out to be.
He was a doe-eyed, lanky Japanese kid who had above average grades in his classes and showed promising results as a slugger for the baseball team. He spent most of his freshman year being stereotyped and made fun of for how he looked and talked, and it only changed because he had his growth spurt in sophomore year. Not only did he become a cleanup hitter by the end of the year, girls were suddenly giving him bedroom eyes in the hallway and guys tried to make up for their borderline bullying by letting him into their cliques. His friendships with them were shallow, really, because they would still poke fun at this old accent even after he had nearly perfected his American accent. Ken took it in stride only because he knew everyone would never make fun of him in baseball, not when he had practically put his school on the map by winning tens of titles and playing in the Senior League. And so, by the end of high school, Ken had baseball to thank for almost everything in his teenagehood.
She, on the other hand, came to high school smart and pretty. Where Ken stood out like a sore thumb, she stood out like a broken finger. Someone being academically gifted and socially relevant was practically unheard of at that time. She was among the top 10 students in freshman year, earned her spot as the leadoff hitter for the softball team in sophomore year, won a national debate championship in junior year, and passed 4 AP classes with flying colors in senior year. She, too, had put the school on the map, perhaps even more contributively than Ken did, so the teachers only kept their grievances for when she skipped class to smoke. Even so, everyone seemed to like her regardless of their cliques; she was always greeted in the hallways, was almost always invited to every party, and had gone out with all the popular students. She could have had it all, and whatever her secrets were, Ken and the other students in their school only knew her as the high school sweetheart, the kind you would see printed next to the definition of high school sweetheart itself.
Ken had seen her in passing during freshman year, but he never really talked to her until they shared three classes together in sophomore year. He remembered that she had approached him first during PE, suddenly speaking to him in fluent Japanese that he nearly had a whiplash. She told him that yes, I know you’re also Japanese and sorry I didn’t talk to you sooner, then babbled something about how she felt guilty that she had just been watching while others made fun of him. He didn’t think much of it at first, still surprised that one of the popular girls—if not the popular girl—in his year was actually talking to him. But then, he found himself understanding every word she said whenever she talked in Japanese and replying to whatever she was saying in English; he found himself exchanging notes and numbers with her in math class; he found himself going to the baseball field with her during lunch breaks and seeing who could hit the farthest. He was somehow roped into bringing her home after he offhandedly mentioned her to his mother, and then, they somehow became best friends. He would cover for her whenever she skipped class to smoke, much to his dismay, and she would introduce him to other social circles outside his baseball team, where he found his first girlfriend—who, admittedly, broke up with him because the way he spoke about his “best friend” was laced with more adoration than the first kiss he had with her. He would wait until their practice sessions were over and drive her home, where they would spend at least three hours talking on her porch before he went home, and she would show up to his games with an obnoxious handmade banner that read “KEN SATO THE G.O.A.T,” cheering the loudest whenever he hit a home run. He would pick her up from anywhere almost every time she asked, even if he had to get himself out of bed at two in the morning, and she would hang out at his place every other weekend, bringing fruit baskets and takeouts for his mother. It was somewhat domestic, how she settled in his apartment (and his life) whenever she came over. Ken almost always had to ground himself because his brain would feed him thoughts of a future with her, and his heart would beat so hard it threatened to break out of his ribcage.
But they were just best friends, he thought and said to his friends whenever they asked him about her. Best friends who happened to suck off, eat out, and eat each other’s faces pretty regularly. He found it funny at first, really; one time, their classmates told her that she just wasn’t human, what with how she juggled school and being popular. She only laughed it off, but he thought of how right they were when she came over while he was home alone at the end of sophomore year. There was no way the girl kneeling between his legs was fucking human. Not with that tongue of hers. Not with the way she looked up and batted her eyelashes at him. Not with how she literally gulped down his load in one go and played Tekken on his console as if she hadn’t just given him the best head of his life. She quite literally sucked the soul out of him that day, and he never had another head like that ever since. Even as they started hooking up—strictly platonic, she said, and he just went along with whatever she wanted as long as it was with her—that was still the stuff of his wet dreams, and it remained that way even long after they never saw each other again.
“Do you think we’ll be friends forever?”
The question caught Ken off-guard not only because it broke the comfortable silence between them, but also the feelings it evoked. Where is she going with this? he thought. A frown was etched on his face as he turned to look at her. Under the soft glow of the star projector in her room, she laid on her back, eyes tracing the constellations that danced across the ceiling. Her breathing was far more steady than his, chest rising and falling slowly behind the thin fabric of his shirt. Her hair fanned out around her on the pillow, framing her face as if it was her halo. At that time, her expression was probably the most serene and somber he had ever seen. She’s beautiful, he said to himself, and he thought it wouldn’t be so bad to keep a picture of this moment in his head for his selfish reminiscing should they ever stop being friends. (He hardly thought she meant that they could be more than friends, and he didn’t want to entertain the thought of not having her in his life.)
“Yeah?” He answered and mentally cursed himself for sounding so unsure. After clearing his throat, he corrected himself: “I mean, yeah, why not?”
There was no way she hadn’t seen the way he was staring at her from the corner of her eye. Even if she did, she didn’t turn her head to face him and only hummed in response to his answer. A look of contemplation appeared on her face as she kept quiet for nearly another minute. Ken swore it felt like an eternity.
“What if–” She sighed. “What if we fuck up and hurt each other? What then?”
Ken somehow knew that she already knew that there was no way she could ever fuck him up. (She already did, anyway, literally and figuratively.) Not with how he looked at her, not with how he reached out to hold her hand, not with how he promptly turned his head to face the ceiling once she was turning to look at him. Perhaps, what she was looking for was the reassurance that he wouldn’t fuck her up. He squeezed her hand when the thought crossed his mind.
“I’ll still be your friend anyways,” he said, softly, his voice barely above a whisper.
A chuckle left her lips then. She didn’t let go of his hand as she moved to hover over him, replacing the twinkling manmade constellations in his sight. (He thought she was brighter than any star in the sky, anyway.) He raised his brow when he saw the mischievous glint in her eyes as she leaned down, her lips nearly closing in on his.
The grin she had on her face was enough to tell him she was up to no good. “Are you a masochist?”
“You–seriously?”
He might’ve groaned from annoyance, but the way her body shook with laughter on top of him was enough to make that godawful warmth bloom in his chest. He pulled her in for a kiss, though he wasn’t sure if it was to shut her up or if he just wanted to, and he thought that if anyone were to see them like this, no one would ever believe him if he told them that they were just best friends. Hell, everyone had enough of his answer whenever they asked him about it at school, and he was even picked on again at some point—but not for how he looked or talked. No, he was picked on for being her “best friend” because no matter how many people had tried to make her theirs, she kept coming back to him. But then they would find Ken making out with one of the cheerleaders under the bleachers and her sucking off some guy from the football team at some senior’s house party. It was confusing for everyone, but even more so for Ken, because every time she asked him to pick her up from God-knows-where, he would see red when she saw her huffing out a smoke, disheveled because of someone who was not him.
And, of course, like all fever dreams, he had to wake himself up from it.
Tumblr media
“–Sato.”
Two things snapped Ken out of his trance then. First, it was the voice that called out to him, then it was the pain in his shoulder. Ken found himself standing on the batter box in Tokyo Dome, a bat in his hand, and his breath was ragged. The seats were empty, the sky was turning dark, and then he remembered that he was at practice. He was at practice, not on the porch at her old house in Los Angeles holding her close as she cried over that one guy who supposedly broke her heart. He was at practice, not at the frat party where he met her again for the first time after months of no contact and saw her giggling on the lap of some jock. He was at practice, not in front of the diner they used to go to almost every other day where he said awful things he didn’t mean and maybe, just maybe, that was the reason why she had left for Japan the next day. (She had waited for him to come to the airport, to at least apologize, but he never came. He had turned off his phone during practice.)
Ken sighed and lowered his bat, hissing when he rolled his left shoulder. He steadied his breathing and regained his composure before his eyes flickered to the field. His teammates were waiting for him to hit another ball so they could continue their fielding practice. Then, he turned to the one in front of him—Yoshida, right?—whose voice pulled him out of his train of thought. Yoshida raised his brow when he locked eyes with Ken.
“Are you distracted or something?”
It was his turn to frown. “What?”
“Are you distracted by the new girl or something? You kept looking back at the dugout earlier.”
Ken almost dropped his bat when he heard that, his neck turning so quickly that he was surprised he didn’t give himself a whiplash. “What?”
Yoshida nodded in the direction of the dugout, and Ken turned to look. His grip around the bat tightened as his eyes darted towards the dugout. Her back was facing the field, leaning against the metal fence that divided the field and the dugout. Her arms held a clipboard to her chest, and he could only see her side profile from where he was standing as she spoke with Coach Shimura. The two of them looked familiar already—he really didn’t know how she did it, given that he was still at odds with the coach, but it was so her, he thought, the way she could get along with all the people he couldn’t—as Coach Shimura was talking more expressively with her than he had ever seen him. She was nodding to whatever Coach Shimura was talking about with a smile on her face, one that didn’t reach her eyes, and he berated himself because why and how the fuck could you tell from this distance? Ken’s lips parted as Coach Shimura’s expression changed and nodded in his direction, and his breath hitched as he saw her turning slightly towards him.
Ken’s heart dropped as the smile on her face faltered, replaced by an unimpressed look and an air of disdain that made him shiver. The world seemed to stop right then and there; even when she looked at him as if he was the reason behind her suffering—which was probably true, to an extent—he couldn’t help but think of how beautiful she was. Even with the hint of blood between her slightly cracked lips and the dark circles under her eyes that she didn’t bother to hide with some concealer. Even with how she looked even paler than she was when they were still in Los Angeles and how her cheekbones seemed to protrude and her cheeks seemed more hollow. She was beautiful, yet she contrasted her old self, which bothered him so much that dread started to pool in his stomach. Ken knew her and would even say he knew too much of her. But, right at that moment, it was as if he was looking straight into a stranger’s eyes and not the pair he had fallen in love with, as if he was looking at the stuff of his nightmares and not the girl of his dreams, as if he had never known her at all.
(What if it was true?)
Ken pinched his arm, hard, and winced when the pain seared through his body and kickstarted another throbbing ache in his shoulder. None of the stuff of his fever dreams, the dread and peculiarity of it, should have been real. This was real. So, if this was real, then God must not only be fucking joking, but He must’ve been thoroughly fucking evil to be putting him through this.
“Oh, fuck.”

My kingdom for a Goro Akechi in P3 fic without time travel, 'cause while I love me a good time travel fix-it, I think including Goro as just a kiddo in 2009 Iwatodai who gets roped into the P3 plot shenanigans has potential for a different sort of dynamic. Akechi and Ken would be roughly the same age, with very similar baggage (lost their moms, bitter feelings toward being mistreated by adults and a need for revenge). They'd be such disaster children. You could even be extra mean and have it so Goro was in the care of Ken's mother before she got killed (KenGoro siblings or cousins headcanon for extra angst?), so they are both on board for the revenge plan and it's less of a murder suicide because they at least have each other. Idk, I just think there's a lot of potential and it would be cool. If anything like this exists, let me know! I'm aware of Throw Away Your Mask and greatly enjoy it, but I've yet to find any non-time travel P3 Goro fics. Can't write one myself because I'm much too busy with my very ambitious P4 Akechi AU, haha.

Taddy I know you said that Kaida doesn't refer to Jay as "Dad" like. At all.
BUT I can't stop thinking about a scenerio [that I wanted a write a ficlet about but I don't have the time due to uni work :sob:]
Where after Kaida and Jay are with the Ninja but Jay doesn't have his memories fully back yet.
And Kaida gets caught off guard by the enemy or something and is taken by them as bait. [I know, very unlikely]
And she tries to act cool about it but she is terrified on the inside because shes still just a kid and god Jay is not coming for her.
He got his real family back- he doesn't need her around anymore- shes alone again- shes got abondened again- why should he care about her anymore?
Meanwhile Jay is LIVID.
This is a man who does not remember the honor code of the Ninja.
A man who killed a dragon by himself.
A man who possibly killed way more than a dragon.
A father whos child was taken from him as bait and is in danger.
He's ripping through everything in his path that is between him and his daughter, and the rest of the ninja are terrified as they can only watch the lightning without restrain destroy everything in his path.
Kaida doesn't understand whats going on outside, there are explosions and yells and she can't help but flinch away as someone points a gun at her face.
But then there is a loud crack as the room flashes in the brightest light ever.
And when she opens her eyes back up again, all the men are on the ground twitching in pain.
And Jay is there.
He's sparkier than usual.
And covered in more blood than usual.
And kinda blurry on the edges, his eyes and hands and body burning way brighter with lightning than she ever saw.
[As if he's almost lightning itself]
But he's here.
He came for her.
He didn't leave her.
He didn't leave her.
She can't even say anything before he's suddenly next to her checking her for injuries as his hands shake from the adrenaline and fear of almost losing her.
And she chokes up with tears upon seeing him so scared, terrified of what could have been and lets out a choked up "Dad..."
Suddenly he's hugging her and she can't help but bury her face onto his chest like a baby as shes trying to not to cry, not to be weak, shes picked up and he mumbles a soft "I got you kiddo. Let's get you home." And that's when she breaks down.
And Jay refuses to let go of her during all the way back to the monastery, and if the rest of the ninja see both of them cry at some point none of them say anything.
KEN KEN KEN THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!?!? I LOVE THIS!! THANKS FOR THIS!!! HUSJFBAF
I LOVE THIS IDEA SO MUCH (Like, Kaida definitely addresses Jay as "dad" in situations like this) THAT I HAD TO WRITE AND DRAW SOMETHING RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE I LOVE TORTURING THESE TWO. Also writing Angry Badass Jay is entertaining
I hope I did justice to this scenario because I wrote this really really quickly so I hope you like it

TW: blood and violence.
When Kaida first wakes up, she is in a room with cold lights and no windows, with unknown people moving back and forth through thick bars. She feels tired, her eyelids are heavy with a sickly feeling, and her palate tastes like moldy cotton.
She tries to remember the name the ninjas had given this thing. She thinks it's called Vengestone. A stone that can disable elemental powers.
She had never seen anything like it and terror floods her veins with ice when she realizes that what they said turned out to be true. She didn't know that there was something capable of suppressing that energy that has been in her blood for years. Uselessly she pulls on the metal on her ankle, looks for a way to break or open the lock with some of the tricks she knew, even tries to see if there are any loose bricks in the wall, and only manages to draw blood from under her nails, adding to what already covers her clothes.
She tries not to get scared. She tries to calm down and breathe even though they look at her like little more than an animal and she has no way to defend herself. She wishes she had her gun in her hands, even the knife she always kept in her boot, but even that had been taken away from her, and all she had left as a weapon was to uselessly insult them.
She tries not to panic, but finds it difficult to control her breathing when she can't see through the walls to those approaching and she feels blind. Everything looks dark and she feels stupidly weak when people approach her and without her powers to see them; they look like corpses.
"They are anyway" she tries to tell herself to calm down. They are if Jay was looking for her.
If he was looking for her. If he hadn't already decided she was a burden. Because she is, she knew it.
As the hours pass, the voice she tries to ignore in the back of her head reminds her that she is essentially a nuisance that he went to too much trouble to care for. She is essentially a girl for whom he only felt sorry, and now with the way things are, he may finally want to take a burden off his shoulders and stop having to worry about her.
She knows that she is the reason why he decided to continue working in a place as miserable as the Administration, the reason why he could not return home for so long, the main reason why he was separated from his family. If he had had his memories from the beginning, he wouldn't have even stayed there in the first place.
It's a burden, and if he had finally realized that he had his real family waiting for him, maybe he wouldn't even bother looking for her.
"How do you feel?" one of them ask her with a smile in his voice. She was pretty sure she's been there for a day already.
“Fucking great.” she spits, crossing her arms to try to look confident. If being a ninja included being captured by crazy people like these, she didn't understand why the bother.
He seem to ignore her mockery as he analyze her carefully. That guy, who must be some kind of leader if the way he's the only one talking is any indication, approaches. “You are the elemental master of spirit, aren't you?”
She stares back at him dryly without even bothering to respond. They had asked her name before and she hadn't even given them that.
The man waits in silence for a few seconds before continuing. “I know all ninjas have pretty interesting powers, the main reason why they are so annoying to us. As far as I heard, kid, you can steal someone's soul, right?”
She shakes her chained foot while frowning. “Why don't you take this shit off me and figure it out yourself?”
He smiles and then steps back, leaving the cell as if the exchange had bored him. "Not yet. We have to keep you alive until your friends come after all.”
And then he leaves, and she is alone. Again.
She rests her head on the wall behind her, trying futilely to keep track of the idiots hovering back and forth with threats that leave her shaking inside, and her hand clutches the yellow pin to her chest.
---
Jay's head is somewhere else during the eternal passage of days in which they search for clues to Kaida's whereabouts. He doesn't sleep or even eat. His concentration is solely on the battlefield and clinging to any possible clue. He is determined and alert, aware enough to be able to duck when necessary and able to dodge when shot.
But that's all. He feels nothing when he uses his powers over and over again against them without holding back his blows. It is like a storm that continues to build up until it explodes and he doesn't take into account who it lets that brutal rain fall on.
And the rest of the team isn't much help.
When they stop him for the fourth time to tell him they need a plan, his patience breaks.
He already has a plan; find his kid.
Lloyd, who Jay had learned that he was a kind of master on the team, harshly reprimands him at the end of an interrogation of one of the stupid bastards responsible for taking Kaida. Once the line of questioning ends with the man writhing on the ground in a haze of burning flesh, everyone looks at him with growing horror and fear.
He has no regrets, neither for this one nor for the others before him or for what is yet to come. If it were up to him, he would pull out what other pain that bastard has left to feel.
The green ninja, however, is unfazed by the anger crackling in his eyes and matches it with a stern glare. "Jay, I understand you're worried, but taking it out on them won't solve anything. You can't do that."
He breathes shakily, his hands, covered in blood that is not his, clenching and opening at his sides with sparks still cutting and hissing through the air.
"You are not my leader." He spits tiredly between his teeth. "Don't tell me what to do. You don't understand anything. If you really think I'm going to spare their lives for some stupid ninja shit I don't know about-"
"Jay, relax." The black ninja, Cole, steps forward, his voice heavy and wobbly. He approaches with his hands outstretched toward him, and he hates the anguish in his words, he hated that they acted like they knew him when he couldn't even remember anything about them. He hates all of this, and can barely speak with the guilt creeping down his throat. This would not have happened if they had not left the Administration. “We understand, we really do.”
Jay turns around, can't help but wave his arms in the air in exasperation, his voice rising to the edge of a shout as he shakes his head. "No, you don't. I don't need your help. If it were up to you, we would still have no fucking clue where she is. It's like you don't even care- “
A hand on his shoulder stops him, cutting off his speech as he flinches, and only then does he realize how much he's hyperventilating. The anger that makes his hands shake is as intense as the fear in his chest, and without a target to aim for so long, one becomes stronger than the other. When he turns around in his stupor, he finds the water ninja staring at him with one hand still on his shoulder.
Nya looks at him with understanding and sympathy, a deep grimace creasing her face even though her eyes otherwise remain calm. Her hand squeezes his shoulder tightly, almost as if she wants to hug him instead, and he hates how much they seem to really know him. He only has a vague idea of what they are supposed to be to him (his friends, his brothers, his yang) and that's it, they're still just strangers.
His real family, all he has left, is far away.
“We'll find her, Jay. I swear. You are not alone in this.” she emphasized firmly, and somehow, like a memory washed away by the tide, something in his chest calms at her words. The others look at him the same way, that anxious, worried look that loosens his jaw as his frown softens.
His hands were still shaking, and the power on his skin had not stopped crackling for even a second since they had begun their search. He pulls away from the touch on his shoulder somewhat abruptly, knowing it's probably not good to touch any of them while he's like this, and the others stare at him expectantly.
He takes a deep breath, barely closing his eyes for a fragment of a second where all he sees is bright white, and when he opens them to look at them, he can almost let himself believe that these people are his family.
"Alright." he chew the words through air that is too harsh and cold. His tongue is filled with the taste of ash and blood. “We know where these bastards' base is. Take us there.”
They all nod and leave, and Jay doesn't let anything stop him from getting to his daughter. His first and only priority.
---
Kaida loses track of time while there. She stops trying to count the minutes that pass and any hope she has left slowly dissolves.
And maybe it was for the best anyway. She knew she was a bait. A small fish to catch a bigger one. It was better that they didn't come for her. There was no reason for him to risk it when he already had his real family with him.
The men here don't linger with her any longer than necessary. They need her alive after all. One breaks her ankle so she doesn't even try to flee. Another hits her head particularly unpleasantly against the wall when she spits in their faces and things get confusing from there. It reminds her too much of Boarding School, and if she closes her eyes, she can practically feel the rivulet of blood running down the side of her face from her left eyebrow.
They seem proud of themselves when they finally manage to force screams of pain through her teeth, even if she doesn't even cry. Don't you dare cry. Don't you ever cry, she said in her mind over and over again.
And she tells herself that's not even the reason she's so terrified. It's not because she was deprived of her powers, or because of the pain that was pounding in her body, or because of whatever stupid plan these sons of bitches had, but because of the fact that she knows deep down that no one is coming for her. She knows she deserves it and that's what leaves her shaking as she stares straight ahead.
They should never have left the Administration, if they had stayed home instead of getting involved in saving the world and that stuff, none of this would have happened.
She feels selfish for thinking about it, but she can't help it.
She wants to go home, but she knows it's not even safe to go back there anymore. She hates how much those ninjas always had the power to take him from her, and now they finally did it.
And suddenly, the guards patrolling next to her cell hastily leave. All the people she can see through the bars share worried looks, frightened murmurs as they run to the left with weapons in their hands. Her heart races and all she can do is wait. She cannot see a single soul behind the walls when they all disappear.
There is an icy silence, one that builds in her cell the moment everyone leaves her alone, but that finally breaks when she begins to hear distant screams in the distance.
She stands suddenly, leaning against the wall, ignoring the pain clawing at her ankle and the damn chain that only makes it worse, and concentrates on listening.
She hears gunshots, hears high-pitched cries slowed by the walls. She's heard those screams before, the kind that come up just before a person's light disappears. She knows that they are coming from very far away, she knows that they are from the direction in which everyone ran, and from one moment to the next, the silence of her prison becomes a cacophony of screams that increases the tension that shakes in her chest.
There is also a growing ringing that pulses in her ears, which sounds too much like a muffled roar. A snake crawls across the ceiling, and when she looks up, she notices how the lights shine full of energy, turning on and off at the pace at which everyone runs desperately. That hum goes down and up constantly while the lights flicker until they finally break, exploding loudly. Glass and darkness hit the hallway.
Kaida can only watch open-mouthed, her mind barely able to comprehend the meaning of it when one of their leaders enters her cage with a gun in hand and a look full of anger.
“What the fuck is going on?” Kaida asks, pressing herself against the wall, hating the way her jaw trembles as the guy approaches her. “Is this also part of your plan, you idiots?”
The mockery comes out weak and raw at the end when she sees how the man removes the safety of the weapon and places it in his hands without hesitation. A knot of anxiety tightens and unravels in her chest until it reaches her mind, and her face pales.
“Looks like your friends are already here, kid. Now you are as useful alive as dead.” The gun is pointed at her face. If she had her powers, in less than a second, she could steal any excuse for soul that this guy had until he was an empty shell, take because that's what she always did. Only she doesn't have them, and the man's index finger is already on the trigger. “Unfortunately for you, I could use getting rid of an elemental master right now.”
The man points the barrel close to her forehead, far enough away that she can't even try to grab the gun from him.
Kaida steps back, her gaze focused somewhere in front of her, and she prepares for the worst with her teeth clenched together.
She's just not prepared for the way the man's body suddenly shakes violently. The grip on his gun loosens and he lets go. Collapsing heavily to the ground with white ribbons that run through his limbs until they fragilely disappear along with all traces of life in his gaze.
There is an echo of thunder behind it that conquers every struggle between silence and screams, and it is only when she looks up from the body at her feet that she finally sees Jay staring at her surprised on the other side of the cell. His hand still raised firmly forward, red and glowing as if snakes of light ran down his arm.
Her vision is blurry, either from the pain in the back of her head or from the held back tears, but it was definitely him. Through the cloudy haze, she can see how his reddish hair is more bristly than usual and the blood that practically covers him from head to toe.
She looks around, behind Jay, she sees completely still bodies scattered on the ground. She's not particularly fazed by it, she's seen worse, they've done worse. But the fact that he did this for her, that he took the risk to do it, leaves her reeling with a thread of breath.
Before she can register it, Jay quickly crosses the distance between them, dropping to his knees beside her so he's level with her. His trembling hands, whose skin over his knuckles she can see are slit and raw, grab her shoulders and he frantically search for any kind of wounds. She barely registers it, barely hears him speaking in panic at a mile a second.
Instead, she was still processing the fact that he was there. That he had come back for her.
“I've got you, kiddo, it's okay now,” she hears him say. His voice sounds more scared and agitated than she's ever heard.
His hands briefly touch her face and only then does she realize she was crying. She doesn't know how long she's been crying.
“Dad-” nothing but sobs come out.
He holds her close, reality finally hitting her as she buries her face against his chest, inhaling as she cries. Her forehead is pressed against that stupid blue gi, staining blood and tears and who knows what else, but she can hear his heart beating, fast but steady, and he's here and he didn't abandon her.
“We're going home,” he murmurs, as shaky as his breathing, and she doesn't care where that is anymore. All she really cares about is that he's here, and that's enough for her.

TTRPG with 02 Kiddos ft Rui-kun
Tumblr media
[AO3 Version]
• Canon compliant (KenMiya/Kenyako) + 02 group and Rui-kun (also includes DaiLui) • Comedy; Teen/Adult audiences.
Story: Takeru liked to read storybooks as a kid. He really enjoyed those stories from different places and cultures, myths and folktales. It’s not a surprise he was aiming to be a professional writer, and it was also working on his childhood memories alongside the digimon and the Chosen Children. It’s also not a big surprise that he would find fun in writing TTRPG sessions with friends -- yes, Hikari, Iori, Daisuke, Ken and Miyako. But this time he prepared something extra fun for their new friend, Rui.
-------------------//-------------------
The group of fearless warriors kept walking through the forest looking for the great evil who is trying to destroy their world and kingdom. In this group they had…
“Hey, Takeru quit narrating everything and hurry up! The kingdom won’t be saved if you keep doing monologues!!”
“Ah… But you see, I’m--”
“He’s right,” V-mon pouted, “Don’t you want to save the kingdom ruled by our king!?”
“Who was the king again…?” Patamon blinked.
“YOU FORGOT WHO’S OUR KING!?” Daisuke and V-mon gasped dramatically.
“... Did we mention a king before?”
“It’s Taichi-san,” Takeru explained, “Since he’s working in a Digital World-related department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs… Makes sense for him to be a king, right?”
“True,” Patamon nodded sagely.
“Y’ALL ARE WASTING OUR TIME!!” Daisuke interrupted them again, “Taichi-san will be mad if we don’t beat the great evil!”
“Huh, what’s ‘the great evil’ again?” Miyako popped in.
“The great evil, Ow the Edge. ”
“What?” Iori squinted his eyes, “I thought you would put Ichijouji-san as the enemy.”
“Excuse me…?” Ken looked at them, frowning, “My days of villainy have ended a long time ago, I don’t want to be the bad guy anymore.”
“Besides, I don’t want to date the villain!” Miyako pouted, “Unless you want an evil couple.”
“Here she goes, talking about her relationship status again,” Daisuke muttered in a growl. He hated the fact he’s still unable to confess his feelings for Hikari.
“What did you say, Dai-su-ke?” Miyako grabbed her guitar in hands, ready to smash it into Daisuke’s head.
“N-nothing??!” He babbled, wavering.
“I think we’re going off-topic,” Tailmon interrupted them, unamused.
“Who’s Ow the Edge, Takeru-san?”
“Ow the Edge…” Daisuke squinted, “Ain’t you making fun of Sh※d※w the H※dg※h※g, are ya!?”
“No, it’s definitely not related to Sh※d※w the H※dg※h※g. It’s just Ow the Edge.”
Daisuke’s brain couldn’t tell if Takeru was trolling them or being serious.
“Anyway, Ow the Edge is the evil guy and we’re going to beat him right now.”
“Wait a second,” They all looked at the seventh human there on the table, Rui.
“What is it, Rui-kun?” Hikari asked.
“I… I don’t understand why Takaishi-kun gave me this paper and told me to memorize it…”
“Oh I just made up something for you, to read. Don’t worry~”
Daisuke whispered to Rui, “When he says that, get ready for something terrible happening to your character. Trust me and Ken, we’re his favorite victims.”
Ken nodded in silence, agreeing with Daisuke. Rui was still not sure what that meant though….
“Where were we again?” Takeru said, then he cleaned his throat and proceeded with the story.
The group had the most loyal knight of the kingdom in the lead who wielded a glaive, a magician and a bard couple (the bard girl had an axe which was also her guitar, the magician boy a twin spear with the ability to turn enemies into allies when touched by its edges), a duo of archers wielding crossbows and a swordsman (the youngest of them!)
They were going into the Forbidden Forest and--
“One question,” Wormmon stopped the group, “Why is it forbidden?”
“You see, little familiar, the forest is forbidden because it’s off the kingdom’s domains.”
“So we would be violating by trespassing, am I correct?” Iori deadpanned.
“But we’re six people and six digimon,” Armadimon added, “To not be trespassing we should just let two people pass.”
“... Makes sense” Daisuke and V-mon mused.
“No, it makes no sense at all,” Ken sighed.
“Can you please let Takeru continue?” Tailmon stared at them.
“Ahem,” Takeru cleaned his throat again,
They were going into the Forbidden Forest and suddenly… It started raining. Then, the knight said…
“Alright, leave it to me, I’m a master of the lightning spells!”
“Is he really the right person for that?” Miyako whispered to Takeru, “Letting Daisuke play with fire is not a smart idea…”
“HEY, I have the Digimentals of Courage and Friendship!” Daisuke snapped, “It’s obvious I’d be experienced in fire and lightning magic!”
“True,” V-mon nodded, “It’s not like Daisuke had exploded things while cooking!”
“Yeah it’s not-- HEY!!” Daisuke stared at V-mon, angrily.
“I think I should use the power of my Digimental” Iori looked at his sword, “Why would we need The Digimental of Friendship if there’s no Lightnin--”
A strong lightning crashed into their direction, but the knight’s Lighdra-glaive’s spells protected the group.
“... Nevermind,” Iori blinked.
“Are you okay, Miyako-san?” Ken asked Miyako, who he was shielding with his own body.
“Y-yeah… I am, thank you Ichijouji-kun” she answered with a smile.
“Miyako-san…”
“Ichijouji-kun…”
They were going to kiss, but--
“STOP FLIRTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RAIN!!” Daisuke shouted, “I’M NOT A WALKING UMBRELLA FOR THAT!!”
“But you’re protecting us from the lightning, not from the rain,” Hawkmon corrected him.
“It’s Iori who is protecting us from the rain” Tailmon gestured to the boy using the Submari-Sword to keep them dry.
“But we’re not like third wheels for their romance!” Daisuke pouted.
“We’re six digimon and six humans, so we would’ve been the third, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine and ten wheels” V-mon said as he counted in his fingers.
“I don’t mean it literally!! ”
“Oh…”
“I don’t mind that,” Iori said, then he and the group kept walking in the rain, but the sword was generating a force field protecting them from the water.
“Fine, fine… But stop flirting while we’re working!” Daisuke growled, and then kept using his glaive to control the lightning away from them.
“But…” Rui interrupted them again,
“Was it, Rui?” V-mon asked this time.
“Wouldn't it be more effective if they could seek a place to stay and wait for the rain to stop?”
They looked at each other and then to Rui…
“Are you criticizing Takeru’s story?” Patamon stared at Rui.
“Uh…”
“ANYWAY!!” Takeru said quickly, before they could get into a fight.
The group kept going through the dense and eerie Forbidden Forest,
“Why is it raining here though?” Wormmon asked, still on Ken’s back.
“Because of a spell casted by Ow the Edge” Takeru explained, “Human beings are not allowed in his territory.”
“Well, we should be closer!” Daisuke seemed fired up, then he pointed at the lair in the horizon, “THERE IT IS, THE… THE…”
The Lair of the Great Evil -- The LOGE.
“The Loge?” Hikari tilted her head.
“Are we going to a theater then?” Miyako blinked.
“No, the LOGE, not loge” Takeru corrected them, “It's an abbreviation of the ‘Lair of the Great Evil’.”
“Shouldn’t it be ‘LOTGE’ then?” Ken asked, unfazed.
“Lodge?” Daisuke frowned.
“No, it’s LOGE, we shouldn’t count ‘the’ there!” Patamon snapped.
“Why would you name it with a HARD abbreviation like that!?” V-mon complained.
“Oh I like to see your reactions” Takeru smiled.
“WHAT!?”
While the knight, the magician and the aspiring writer who’s also an archer were in a heated discussion about the lair’s name and abbreviation…
“...”
The mysterious and nefarious Ow the Edge appeared in front of them!!
“...”
“...?” Rui looked at Takeru on the table, confused.
“Ahem, Rui-kun it’s your turn.”
“Huh…?”
“The paper I gave you, it’s your character” Takeru gestured to the paper in front of Rui on the table.
“O-oh…”
“Wait,” Daisuke squinted his eyes at Takeru again, “Don’t tell me you…”
Like, I said… The mysterious and nefarious Ow the Edge appeared in front of them!!
“Oh ho ho ho… I’m Ow the Edge, the villain of this game…” Rui was… reading the paper normally?!
“Ow the Edge is Rui-kun??” Miyako exclaimed in confusion.
“Well… I’m--”
“You’re not taking it seriously enough…” Takeru sighed.
“Not enough…?”
“No offense but you’re reading and not acting, dagya.”
“Uh…”
“Yeah, you have to put some feelings on it!!” Patamon added.
“Hey guys, we shouldn’t go too harsh on Rui” Daisuke argued, “He’s still learning how to play!”
“True, I hate doing this but… Takeru-kun, can I simply give him an example?” Ken asked, politely and gently.
“Sure, you’re like a pro!” Takeru chuckled.
“Are you plannin’ to…” Daisuke raised an eyebrow.
Ken cleaned his throat and then…
“Huhu…HAHAHAHAHA, I’m the Digimon Kaiser, the one who controls the power of the darkness! I will dominate the Digital World and make you all OBEY me. CHERISH me. And LOVE me. Say, you dare to face me? HAH! Pathetic human beings, I’M THE PERFECT CHOSEN ONE! And ONLY ME can come here and PLAY this game!”
“Yeah, he just got overboard again…” Daisuke shrugged.
“Is he okay?” Rui was petrified by that 180º flip while the rest of the group was shaking their heads.
“Yeah, he got a little rusty since it had been like, 10 years since he was some edgelord throwing tantrums in the Digital World…” V-mon shrugged.
“Oh, that’s why Takaishi-kun said ‘like a pro’ when he asked permission to give an example…”
“R-rusty…??” Wormmon and Ken said, intrigued.
“I guess you unlearned how to be an edgelord, Ken…” Tailmon commented, shaking her head.
“I’m rusty…” Ken repeated it, quite disappointedly…
“Didn’t the Kaiser say ‘insects’ all the time?” Patamon mused.
“And he also used a whip,” V-mon added.
“He still uses the whip,” Wormmon and Hawkmon said out of the blue.
“Huh?” the others blinked. Ken and Miyako blushed awkwardly though.
“Are you sure this is the right hour to Talk about--” Daisuke squinted his eyes once again, this time at Ken, Wormmon, Miyako and Hawkmon.
“OKAY RUI-KUN” Takeru interrupted them quickly,  “YOU GOT YOUR CLASS OF ACTING SO GO AND UNLEASH THE EVIL IN YOU!!”
“A-alright… I guess I can try again” Rui nodded.
Then, Ow the Edge appeared in front of them, laughing maniacally and stomping his cane-staff on the ground!
“...OHOHOHO! I’m Ow the Edge, the great evil of the world! You peasants are stepping on my yard and you will regret it.”
He looked at Takeru, “Is it better…?”
“Yeah, a little better 👌” Takeru smiled.
“I’m rusty…” Ken was still sulking in the corner.
The warriors wielded their weapons, ready for an imminent clash--
“Hold on, I don’t think it’s right to fight him,” Daisuke interrupted them all.
“? Why not?” Hawkmon asked, “Isn’t he the source of all evil?”
“No, I’m the great evil, not the source of all evil” Rui said, deadpanned.
“Isn’t that the same thing!?” Patamon babbled.
“No?”
“I mean we can’t fight Rui, he’s our friend!” Daisuke argued back, “I can’t believe you did that to him, Takeru!”
“Daisuke, you're taking it too seriously now” Takeru chuckled nervously.
“No, you were just--”
“Or are you afraid of fighting me, Daisuke-kun?” Rui said it in a very seductive way with a smug smile.
“I… I don’t want to fight you, that’s all” Daisuke blushed and turned his face.
“Ok, I think he really got the spirit, dagya” Armadimon commented with the others, perplexed.
“Why not? You fought Ichijouji-kun in the past, didn’t you?” he scoffed.
“Yeah, but Ken was not our friend back in time!” Daisuke snorted, “So no, cut it out. I refuse to fight you!!”
“I guess you don’t care about your pathetic kingdom then,” Rui shrugged, “I’m the great evil, will you let your people perish only to spare me?”
“I’ll save you too then!” Daisuke stomped his foot on the floor.
“Where did I see this scene before…” Tailmon mused.
“Uh… It was when you confronted Ken-chan, I guess” Wormmon replied.
“So, will you accept defeat, Daisuke-kun?”
“No, I won’t!” Daisuke snapped, cupping Rui’s face “I will come after you no matter what you say, no matter what Takeru makes you do! You’re MY friend and I refuse to fight you!!”
“... W-what??” Rui blushed.
“HOLD ON!!” Miyako shouted, and interrupted their game.
“Daisuke, what’s wrong with you?” She looked at Daisuke, seriously, “This is just a game, a harmless game, no one is going to fight for real here!!”
“But I.. I… * ahem * I was also acting, yeah… Uh… yeah,” he immediately took his hands off Rui’s face, babbling.
Though Rui was… also blushing awkwardly.
“I guess someone is not into Hikari anymo--” V-mon had Daisuke covering his mouth again.
“Uh, what?” Hikari blinked.
“DON’T LISTEN TO V-MON HE’S… HE’S TOO TIRED FROM THE GAME, SO UH… I LEFT MY RAMEN ON THE STOVE, BYE!!” and he left the table, carrying V-mon.
“... Did I do something wrong?” Rui frowned.
“No, you just managed to beat Daisuke-kun without fighting him,” Takeru said awkwardly, “Don’t take it seriously.”
“Oh… Okay…?”
With the knight and his familiar out of the battle, Ow the Edge smirks and turns into the rest of the group and says:
“One down, Five left.”
“HOW CRUEL!!” Hikari screams, “HE WAS WILLING TO HELP YOU!”
“... You can touch me, really. I’m untouchable.”
“What do you mean?” Iori raised an eyebrow.
“... I’m cursed, remember? Great evil… We need an excuse for Daisuke-kun’s absence, sorry.”
“Ooh…” Armadimon exclaimed, “That’s clever.”
“We shouldn’t touch him then!” Hawkmon nodded.
“Alright,” Takeru said with a serious gaze, “if Daisuke is not here, the second-in-command is Ken-kun so--”
“... I’m rusty.”
Everyone looked at Ken, who was still sulking like a kid in the corner.
“Ichijouji-kun?” Miyako blinked, “What’s wrong?”
“You guys said I’m rusty… I don’t like to be the Digimon Kaiser anymore, but it’s still part of me… I created him and now I’m… I’m unable to be him even for a simple TTRPG sample!!”
“Y-you’re upset that you can’t do the Digimon Kaiser anymore!?” the five babbled, intrigued.
“... 💧” Rui blinked, still not sure what was going on.
“I guess we accidentally beat Ken,” Patamon shook his head.
“Two down…?” and yet Rui is still confused about this entire game.
“I think I need a break” Ken sighed, and then he and Wormmon left the table.
“Ah, wait…!” Miyako called him, but then she turned to the rest of the group, “I will calm him down and we will be back! Let’s go, Hawkmon!”
“Right, Miyako-san!”
Then Miyako and Hawkmon went after Ken and Wormmon. Rui frowned, he was thinking maybe he was just really bad at playing tabletop games…
Takeru sighed, “Well, I guess it’s only the four of us now… And our digimon partners, of course.”
“If you… want to stop I’m okay with it” Rui was feeling very awkward right now.
“Are you guys still up to it?”
“I’m curious about how it will end,” Iori mused.
“I don’t mind continuing it…” Hikari added.
“They might come back, didn’t they say it?” Armadimon asked, looking at the entrance of the apartment.
“Hmm… We’re at Daisuke’s house, so it would be odd if he just left” Tailmon replied with a shrug.
“I wonder where he went…” Patamon said, looking at Takeru.
“...”
With the couple down, our brave group was reduced into three members and their familiars. The heavy atmosphere of the heated battle against Ow the Edge and our heroes intensified second by second.
“I guess you can’t beat me.”
Said the great evil with a shrug. His cocky attitude and malicious grin were making the last hope of the Kingdom weaver, but FEAR NOT! The good guys had a trump card in their hands.
“Trump card??” Rui, Hikari, Iori and the digimon exclaimed, confused.
“Oh trust me, being an amateur writer means I need to make the story a little exciting.”
“But what’s that trump card, dagya?”
“It’s a secret.”
“WHAT!?”
“What does it supposed to mean!?” Hikari and Iori exclaimed.
“So… To be sure,” Rui approached them, “What happens if I beat you three? Do I win?”
“Technically yes,” Iori explained, “But this is an ongoing game, we have sessions and turns, so you could say you would win a turn or session.”
“The others can come back, can’t they?” He was worried about Daisuke and Ken’s reactions to that game though…
“Yup,” Patamon nodded, “They’re not dead in this game, unless the Game Master kicks them off the game.”
“Oh… So I didn’t kill them in-game…” he sighed in relief.
“Yeah, but don’t worry about that!” Tailmon smiled, “Takeru will find a way to add them again once they’re back.”
“But what is that trump card, dagya??” Armadimon pouted.
“It’s…”
“It’s…?”
“...”
“...?”
The aspiring writer and archer then summoned… A jar of sugar.
“A JAR OF SUGAR!?” Hikari exclaimed.
“Isn’t Rui-san…” Iori looked at Rui.
“Uh… Am I supposed to… do some dramatic reaction at the fact he got a jar of sugar?”
“Wait, I thought you hated sweets,” Patamon blinked.
“Yes, I do.. So… Uh… * ahem *”
“NO, MY ONLY WEAKNESS…!! SUGAR!!” He dramatically knelt on the floor, using the cane as support, “I’M DYING… NOOOO!!”
“We haven't used it yet” Takeru looked at him, deadpanned.
“Oh… Ok.”
The aspiring writer and archer then showed the jar to Ow the Edge, and with a firm tone of voice he threatened:
“We will end your days of evil with the HolyAngemon Sugar Brand! UNLESS!!”
“Wait, are you sparing me too??”
“No, I’m proposing a deal!”
“Ah, I see… You want something in return…”
“We won’t use the sugar if you stop threatening the kingdom,” Iori explained.
“Hmm…”
“You will undo the evil deeds you caused to us,” Patamon added.
“What evil deeds…?” Rui then took the paper and started checking the text, “Uhh… Fine, fine.”
“And you will turn all the sweets you turned into dust back to normal, dagya!”
“Wait… Did I go this far before…? 💧”
“No, Armadimon is just doing an ad-lib right now,” Tailmon shrugged.
“I suppose it’s because you don’t like sweets,” Hikari added, “You would turn them into dust.”
“... I might not like sweets but I have no problem with them,” Rui shrugged, “It’s just… I don’t like it that much…”
“Oh… I’m sorry” Armadimon bowed his head awkwardly.
“It’s okay, no hard feelings.”
And then the warriors stopped the great evil and everyone lived happily after.
“So we--”
“AH CRAP, I REALLY OVERCOOKED IT!!” They heard Daisuke’s voice from the kitchen.
“Daisuke, are you okay--” Takeru said and he and the others ran to the kitchen.
“Noooooooo… MY RAMEN!!” he dramatically cried.
“He really left his ramen on the stove…” Patamon commented.
“You thought we were joking!?” V-mon snapped, “It was our dinner!! For the night of games!!”
“Oh… Oh no” Armadimon sniffed, “Our dinner…”
“It’s okay everyone!!” They heard Miyako’s voice from the entrance of the apartment, “Our girl Miyako and her boyfriend had brought some dinner for us all!!”
“Miyako and Ken saved our dinner, dagya!!” Armadimon chirped.
“Hmm… Yeah, maybe we can eat ramen another day” Daisuke smiled, "Alright folks! Let’s clean the table and eat!”
“Alright!!” They all said together.

Hitcher fluff drabble.
Its been hot here, my period had just slapped me and I've been out of it- but I did write a short fluff drabble between these two for myself mostly lol. They're growing on me-
Tumblr media
Hey John?”
“Hmmm?” He opened one eye, he lied in a motel bed- yet not asleep. Flint was awake, crouched on his chest as their spines were expanded out across their bare back, their eyes dark while black scales were scattered across their skin. He sighed, closing his eyes again. “Sparky go put on a damn shirt, you know the rules.”
He received a groan in reply; “Why? Its hot.”
Once again, John graugly groaned before eyeing the vampire on top of him; They were basically a ken doll- but that didn’t stop him from instilling some form of decency. “What is it kid? It’s 12:00 PM, you should be asleep.”
Flint rolled their eyes, before finally sitting with their legs crossed. “Yeah well, I can’t sleep and I got a question.”
John was now wide awake, propping his head beneath his hands as he stared up with his icy blue eyes, those crazy eyes that were now hooded. “What is it, kiddo?”
Flint thought for a moment; “Would you ever have another of…me, if you could?”
He raised an eyebrow, before a smile tugged at his lips. “Why would I do that? I think one Sparky is enough.”
“I meant like, if I'd have a little brother or sister-”
“Then I'd be your dad.”
Silence fell, their stomach twisted in a knot, it had been over a year on the highway with a deranged serial killer who plucked them.off the highway, having found Flint nearly dead as a crumpled heap of gore. Perhaps it was the stockholm syndrome settling in. “Well, don't I care for yah already? I ain't a damn baby-sitter being paid for this shit, but I ain't complaining either.”
Flint frowned, confused even. John sighed as he finally sat up, Flint tumbling onto the blanket as he reached into their shared duffle bag and pulled out a random shirt- grabbing Flint's arm and tugging them towards himself. “You're my kid, I wouldn't want to replace yah- but I wouldn't mind giving you a little sis or brother after Disney-land.”
He pulled the shirt over them, their spines flattening against their back. “Also means you can start calling me dad now- makes sense.”
Flint suddenly hugged him, before being pulled into his chest.

Hello, there! My name is Sen!
Pronouns: they/she
I'm an alter within the Minina system (click the link to find out more!). I specifically am from "Group 2", the only subsystem we know of as of now. I wanted to introduce myself on my own post because i am... truly something! (totally not because of the fact Tumblr 10 image limit makes it harder for us all to have an image to represent us, haha 😐)
I won't be tagging this outside of maybe some personal tags, people in this world scare me more than they did in my source!
On another note, i find explaining being a fictive is not a particularly easy task in the first place, throw in being a "love to hate" character from a series about pseudo-cannibalistic people and you've got a real problem! I luckily found a simple solution after much deep thought: Don't explain anything at all!
Tumblr media
I can't help but feel a bit disappointed about it though. I'd like to share details about how much of the source material is me, how i differ, the headcanons that seem to have influenced the source memories...
So i will!
Appearance-wise i'm mainly the main Sen Tatasuki appearance from the OG, and the short hair style in :re. I occasionally rock the wrapped up, Mummy-style Eto Yoshimura appearance. Personality is stolen from Sen mostly and some traits from the more Owl-y Eto in :re, but there's a tiny bit of the immature, wrapped up Eto in there as well, i'm sure.
I would like to clarify, we have not finished Vol. 13 of the original manga, nor read any of :re, so this is all in regards to the very poor writing from the anime side of things. 🫤
Tumblr media
As for headcanons/AUs that wormed their way in: I survived the fight with Furuta (although that was more an ambiguous death anyway). I'm unsure of Source Eto's age, but mine was more in like with the kiddos (just an old soul, i suppose!).
I also offered the apple and "forbidden knowledge" to Ken, not Kanae. Although i didn't feed him any of my kagune. He wouldn't have wanted it anyway! I just helped him find his memories, much to Haise's dismay, as he had been holding on to those memories for Ken's sake. If i had known i wouldn't have done it...
Haise is still around though, along with all the other Kaneki's, save for a few. After i helped him with his memories, it wasn't long before i found that i didn't completely hate him, and he didn't completely hate me either. In fact, i'd say eventually... something akin to love blossomed... And grew... We didn't have a kid or whatever, but we were a couple. 😅
I don't remember much past my battle with Furuta, so many memories themselves are only bits and pieces, with nothing but a blinding light to fill the gaps.
All i know is that i do miss Ken... And i don't like how i'm back to poor living conditions in this new situation as an alter...
How do ficitves cope? Get help? How do you go to a therapist and get help for trauma, on things that most would doubt is even real? Am i real? How do you talk to "friends" you just met about how you've lost, what feels like at least, everything?
Tumblr media
Sigh. It ended up all gloomy anyway, i suppose... Just realized this really is like an old style blog post... I wonder if Tumblr used to be like this...
Anyway, starting to get all sleepy again so guess that means i'm getting kicked out of the body! (Or maybe it really is bedtime...) Perhaps i'll write again sometime!
Until then! Ciao!
–Sen

Hellos! I'm not sure if this counts as a request, but l was wondering if you have any characters that you headcannon as caregivers/have caregiver space? Dont get to see these sort of hc alot and am interested to see who you have 😁
Also hope you've been staying hydrated and happy!! Your headcannons are always so fun and helps me so much with regressing!! Have a good day! 😊🌸🌸
♡ You're so sweet! I'm so very happy my writing can help you regress! I feel like a broken record when I say this, but it always means so much to hear these kinds of things. 💗💗💗 ♡ And goodness, yes, CG headcanons are a rarity, but I have quite a few–too many for just one post in fact ;>w>–so I'll do my top five if you don't mind!!! :3 ♡ This doesn't include flip headcanons because we'd be here all day!
5. Izuku Midoriya
Tumblr media
♡ I feel like CG Izuku is very underrated! He has a lot of care in his heart–enough to extend towards his enemies!!!–and is shown to be very good with kids. However, he has a tendency to get lost in his own head at times which slots him in at number five.
4. Katsuki Bakugou
Tumblr media
♡ Another underrated CG in my opinion is Katsuki! While he may not be as openly friendly or affectionate as some of the characters on this list, but he is very competent. He has shown to be a good cook and keeps a pretty tight schedule, and shows affection in his own special ways! Though, he is definitely the type of person that can easily get roped into things with a few well placed words.
3. Momo Yaoyorozu
Tumblr media
♡ Momo is a total sweetheart with so much love and care in her. She's smart, capable, and overall a caring young lady. She has a whole tea party-study group party at her house! That's adorable. Though, like Midoriya, she also tends to get lost in her own head and can psyche herself out. But, overall? Very prime CG material, so sweet.
2. Nejire Hado
Tumblr media
♡ Absolute cutie pie. You might think that Nejire feels more like a regressor or a flip at the very least, but I see her as more of a whimsical sort of caregiver. She's always down to play pretend and loves to do arts and crafts with her kiddos! Really, just a lovely girl.
1. Ken Hikiishi
Tumblr media
♡ And ranking at the very tippy top: Big Sis Magne! She's literally called Big Sis in canon, it's like a free CG ticket being hand delivered. She's great, super observant and loyal to this little family of strays she found, and is a strong figure to lean on. She's critically underrated and I definitely have plans to write for her and her little menaces in the future! :3

Took the kiddos to see the Barbie movie!
It was definitely a very funny movie, a lot of really funny jokes. The 7 hour binge of the BBC P&P made me double over laughing in the theatre, apologies to the folks sitting in front of us… Ryan Gosling was hilarious, everyone was such a good actor, the production design was absolutely fabulous, top notch, shockingly nostalgic, the kids enjoyed it.
Somehow though I can’t really say that I *liked* it. There was something just a bit strange to me with the writing. For instance, the conflict of Barbie making kids feel bad because Barbie is this perfect idealized woman that you can never be, vs Barbie teaching little girls that anything is possible and they can be anything, is just a little weird to me because neither describes my relationship that me and my sister and my friends had with our Barbie dolls (which were, and it seems to me this is actually the more universal experience, that Barbie was just our avatar for some of the most fucked up imaginary storylines you can imagine) Stuff like that. Lots of little plot bits like that, where you have to kind of hand wave it because it doesn’t quite make sense. Little bit strange to me. I definitely really enjoyed the little moments, but all together the movie left me a bit… unimpressed.
But you know what I DO love… I love that THIS is the movie that everyone is mad about. Ken feels bad because he is treated as an accessory and not his own person, and if the Barbies had all just been nicer to the Kens, they wouldn’t have done any of the silly shit they did, and THIS is the message that makes everyone so mad? The only conceivable reason you could have for getting mad at the movie is that you really really do actually want to live in Kendom land where women will serve you beer and listen to you play guitar for four hours, and you’re sad the movie says this is actually not good either. Like my guy, you’re really mad at that?
I also disagree with the people saying the movie is nothing but a two hour long commercial for Mattel. I mean, ok, it kind of is, but SERIOUSLY my friends, unless you’re only going out to watch non-IP movies, which I HIGHLY doubt you are, this movie is absolutely no worse than any movie out right now. Every movie nowadays is a two hour ad for the brand. You’re really kidding yourself if you think it’s not. At least this movie also throws in some great production design (contrast this to Disney fucking BUYING THEIR PROPS instead of making them) and some genuinely funny jokes.
Kiddos had fun, I had fun, even if I’m kind of not vibing with the writing. The theatre was surprisingly full for a movie that’s been out for a while already.

What advice or tips do you have for a writer wanting to write the characters from Succession for the first time (Shiv, Kendall, Roman, Tom, Greg etc)
When writing for Succession characters, especially the Roys, all Succession characters are quite complicated. I definitely recommend being well-versed in the show and having people who can give you feedback on your writing who are also well-versed in the show.
For example, on Wattpad, I have a Roy oc named Briah. She's from an affair Logan had, and after her mother died she moved in with the family (Connor). All the kids were 11(? I'd have to check my doc) and younger. Caroline wasn't pleased, Ken and Connor were welcoming, and Roman was confused, but Shiv was the most interesting. Until Briah arrived, she had been Logan's only daughter, his Pinky (which doesn't change), but it took a while for her to warm up to having a sister.
Ken is probably the most difficult to actually write for, I have not written for him yet, but I know Kendall is a complicated character and what he does needs to be taken into account when writing about and for him. I love love Tom, even if others don't. He's sweet and he tries, but he wormed himself into Logan's life to prove himself to Shiv to some extent. He definitely seems like he could be fully dedicated to someone, if that someone isn't Shiv Roy who pushes him off at every given turn (#failmarriage but we love them). Roman has an interesting personality, but he's a little shit. I do find him to be the most exciting to write out of the Roy siblings. I do think you need to keep in mind his childhood trauma and everything he went through growing up. Like all of the siblings, everything that happened to him definitely affects how he acts as an adult, which is often like a child.
Stewy is my favorite character outside of the Roy family, and when I say Roy family that includes who they married and kiddos. And he doesn't appear often, but I do love bringing touches of him into what I write.
Overall, keep in mind their childhood, we know what we need to know about their childhood when it comes to the Roy siblings (and Greg). Do not make them ooc, their personalities are so well-defined and despite their flaws make them all the more interesting. Definitely watch the way they behave and act in the show, and find a way to incorporate that into your writing!

Teacher au prompt “You're so good with children." Kendall stops by Synths classroom and some of the students take a liking to her and flock to her. she looks at their cute drawings and they want her to see the stickers Ms.Kiss gave them 🥺
This was fun to write <3 Ty for sending it😌😌
——
Kendall's tongue poked in between her teeth as she focused, scrubbing the dinner dishes with her sleeves rolled up her arms. As usual, her mind ran a million miles a minute, going over everything from throughout the day. It was just her, her thoughts, and hot sudsy water until Synthia bumped her hip against hers, making Kendall gasp with surprise.
"You scared me," she said, wiping her wet hands off on her pants and turning to Synthia.
Synthia giggled, standing on her toes to press a kiss to her cheek. "I just wanted to say thanks for stopping by to bring me my lunch today."
"You're welcome, baby, " she chuckled, "I really should just start bringing it to you every day since you keep forgetting it."
Humming, Synthia wrapped her arms around Kendall's waist, kissing her shoulder softly. "I know 26 people who would be very happy to see you everyday."
Kendall turned in her arms so she was facing her, an eyebrow raised. "What are you on about, Synth, hmm?"
"Not on about anything, you're just-you're so good with children. You always say you're not but I'm pretty sure my entire class would have me overthrown if you could be their teacher instead."
"Not true," Kendall scoffed, "could you imagine me teaching kids to read? I wouldn't even know where to start!"
"Maybe not, but you'd have a couple years before we need to worry about that."
"Synth, what are you-?"
"Come on, Ken, you said the reason you wanted to wait to start a family is because you're not good with kids. You proved that statement wrong today, the kids adored you! They asked about you the whole rest of the day."
Looking into Synthia's eyes, Kendall began to imagine them in the future. Her, Synthia, and Gia and a couple of kiddos. In her fantasyland they had two kids; a boy and a girl, one with green eyes and dark hair like Gia and one blond and bubbly like Synthia. She'd been too scared for so long to admit that that's what she wanted, but seeing the sincerity in Synthia's eyes and the flush in her cheeks as she waited for an answer, Kendall couldn't imagine not starting a family with her and Gia.
"Maybe I am more ready than I thought," she replied softly.
"Really?!"
Kendall nodded, taking her hand and kissing the back of it. "Obviously there's so much to talk about, like how to go about becoming parents. Will we adopt? Will one of us carry? I'm not sure about all of that yet but I'm willing to start the process if you're ready."
Synthia had tears in her eyes as she threw her arms around Kendall's neck, squeezing her tightly. "I love you so fucking much."
"Hey, if we're gonna be parents you gotta lay off the bad language at home," Kendall joked, pinching her bottom and earning her a squeal, giggling before her expression softened, "I love you too. And I love Gia, wherever they are. I think we'll make a wonderful family."

wholesome headcanons (digimon edition)
i’m doing this for haikyuu on my kagehina blog and after reading Onee-chan by @patamon, i’ve been inspired to do it for my chosen bbys so here it goes:
daisuke teaches ken how to cook; you’d think it’d be the other way around, but if his mother isn’t around, ken resorts to depression meals. this becomes daisuke teaching the rest of the 02 kids cos hikari can barely boil water, miyako relies on her family’s convenience store snacks, takeru’s diet consists of mainly tv dinners unless he goes to yamato’s, and iori just wants to learn to help out his family
takeru starts calling sora Nee-san at like 12—it’s an accident at first but then he just continues to call her that and sora’s secretly warmed by it
you can’t tell me koushiro doesn’t game on like Steam or something, he really enjoys puzzle games. he’s secretly competitive and loves online play.
the chosen share acct info for many active subscriptions/streaming services and it’s kind of the perfect set up:
youtube? somebody has premium, there’s only 5 or 6 profiles available so they share
taichi prbly pays for crunchyroll
amazon prime? hahah yep many addresses are saved
netflix? hulu? mimi prbly pays for that
if someone is having trouble financially or they’re like “hey guys sorry we’re gonna have to skip this month for [x subscription], money’s tight” someone else is like “nah fam i gotchu, don’t worry abt it”
food delivery services for groceries and/or dining?? yamato prbly pays for that specifically to ensure his little bro gets some nutrients when he’s not available to cook 💙💛 (also he supports daisuke teaching takeru learning how to cook but requests frequent updates and pictures so he knows takeru isn’t getting hurt)
nintendo switch online? xbox game pass? someone has something; takeru prbly spends a lot of time gaming with hikari and taichi/yamato like to make bets on mario kart
also pirating galore
the chosen have a discord server that started for digital world-related things but evolved into a chaotic mess of digimon/pet pics, tv show/book/anime/manga/music recs, memes, school/homework help, advice, and other random shenanigans
so many memes. yamato & jou are tired
koushiro gets a dog. yes i know i wrote abt this already but i can’t stop thinking abt koushiro being a lonely kiddo and his mom knows
food is a great way to bribe someone—jou with coffee, takeru & hikari with sweets, koushiro with tea, etc.
hikari has a massive sticker collection, she hoards them the way taichi hoards video games
miyako is not above commissioning fanfics from takeru; she writes them herself too but gets a lot of writing pointers from takeru
mimi has a big following on social media and she pulls a lot of the other chosen into it, including an exasperated jou, a very confused koushiro, and ofc famous rock icon Ishida Yamato
after (prbly accidentally) learning that ken suffers from depression, the older chosen create a separate chat for mental health <333 they’re always finding ways to spend time together so nobody is lonely (lookin at you, takeru)
should i do a part 2?? any requests for certain characters or relationships (platonic or otherwise)?? please let me know, this was fun!!

"Everyone was watching what was going on in amazement. When the sirens were heard, Baji rushed to you and picked you up from the ground and cupped your face.
"Are you okay ?" You could hear the fear in his tone, you could hear what he was saying, but you were still focused on what Hanma said
" 'y/n' ! Are you okay honey? Say something! Fuck!"
When you suddenly took off from the ground, you felt that Baji was taking you on his shoulders and that's when you came to your senses.
"Baji... I'm fine, put me down!"
Baji nodded and continued walking.
...
When you got to his bike he sat you down and leaned forward. He took your hands and gently ran his fingers over the scars on your face, without touching them, and a curse fell from his lips.
"Sorry."
You looked at him in surprise
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you again 'y/n'. For him to get close to you-"
"Kei...it's not your job to protect me. You've done nothing to apologize for. It's a case between me and that bastard, and I'll take care of him."
Baji looked at you in shock at what you said. He had never seen you this serious before.
"I... 'y/n' what did that bastard say to you? What was he telling you not to forget?"
You were not surprised when Baji heard Hanma shout. Everyone there had heard it, but you were going to keep it to yourself. You were sure that if you told Baji he would do something stupid.
"It wasn't a big deal... the usual empty threats... we must go now, Baji, we must find out how Draken is."
...
"You'll come to me 'y/n'. You'll be my little spy. Or I'll kill Keisuke Baji. I'm sure I'll do it before your soul even hears it."
You didn't know what to do with the sentence that was swirling in your head. As Baji drove the engine to the hospital at full speed, you were thinking of Hanma's words while hugged him tightly.
These are empty threats, you thought to yourself, but you knew it wasn't true. Shuji Hanma was a more dangerous man than you thought.
...
When you arrived at the hospital, you hugged Mitsuya cheerfully as he said Ken was fine. Then to Baji, then to Takemichi who saved him, and almost everyone else there...
...
You were sitting in the hospital room chatting with Draken. Hearing what was going on, he was wondering about you even though he was injured. He had asked a few implicit questions to confirm, but when you passed him off, he got serious.
"Everyone said Hanma said something to you but  you didn't say anything to anyone 'y/n'... I don't know what you're thinking but you're like my little sister."
You looked at his face with his words and smiled "You're like my brother, Keny-"
"Then I want you to be honest with me. I don't want to remind you of what you've been through, kiddo. I know it's hard and it's not good. But you stood up to Hanma there... It was a big step 'y/n' but I don't want you to have to take a bigger one. Stay away from him. We'll take care of it if necessary. But you stay away."
Looking solemnly at him, Draken knew your answer wasn't "sure I'd stay away" and he sighed. "I know you are strong but we're talking about a man even Mikey struggles with 'y/n'... for God's sake do you really think you beat this guy?"
You kept quiet and lowered your head because you knew it was true when his words got tough "He let you win because he wanted you to know that he did. He will provoke you and wait for you to attack him. Then he will hurt you again. Listen to me 'y/n', I want you to make a promise to me. Stay away from him, stay away from that man forever. Hold on, we'll take care of him."
Draken was right, he let you beat him and didn't even give you the final blow. And what he whispered in your ear... You knew that Hanma would do that. He wanted to hurt Toman but most of all he wanted to destroy you. All you were was that you couldn't beat him.
You skipped over Draken's words and walked out of his room. You loved him, you cared about him. He was your family. But you couldn't let him know that.
They thought Hanma was threatening you with your own life, but that bastard had a different plan. He wanted to make you his little slut and take over Toman.

...
"Who is this guy?" You thought for a while. You didn't see him in that fight or anywhere else. But you didn't like him. I guess you weren't the only one who didn't like it. There were hums coming from everywhere and at that moment something you didn't expect happened.
Takemichi suddenly punched that boy and it was a mess. As the leaders squeezed Takemichi, Baji came out of nowhere and punched Takemichi. Everything was so sudden.
You still couldn't believe it. When Mitsuya grabbed his arm to stop Baji, he threatened to kill him too and declared war on Mike.
"From now on, First Division Captain Keisuke Baji will be Toman's enemy!"
You couldn't believe what you heard for a while. He said that he was going to leave Toman and join Valhalla, and everyone was in shock.
...
You quickly followed him as he left and you grabbed his arm and turned him
"What the fuck do you think you're doing, Keisuke? Where do you think you're going? What do you mean Toman is your enemy. Are you fucking kidding me?"
Baji frowned at your harsh words. He expected you to be angry with him, but this...
"Answer me. Where are you going, Baji?"
He took a deep sigh and looked at you. He put his hand on your shoulder and spoke.
"There's no reason for me to stay in Toman anymore. Don't try to stop me, I don't want to hurt you"
You got even more angry with Baji's words without the slightest expression of sadness. He had been acting strangely for a few days, but this...
What was that?
"I don't know what you're hiding Kei, but you can trust me. Please. We can fix everything-" He laughed at you and shook his head. "I'm not hiding anything y/n, just like you"
You were shocked by what he said. You still hadn't told him what happened that night and... When he tried to leave without saying anything, you got angry and did something unexpected. You clenched your fist and punched him hard in the face. You smacked him in such anger that your fist broke his lip. Baji wiped his lip and started walking without saying a word to you. Watching the man you love go away has never been so hard on you.
...
When the meeting broke up, Mikey ordered Takemichi to bring Baji back. They told you not to do anything.
While watching the school with boredom, you quickly got up and walked out when you saw someone taking Takemichi with them. You continued walking in surprise when you realized that it was Kazutora as you followed them. What was going on?
...
You stood in front of what you realized was the place of Valhalla. You didn't know what to expect inside. But you didn't care. You pulled your hood over your head and opened the door and walked in.
It was a completely different environment than Toman and people were looking at you weirdly. You ignored the front and were shocked by what you saw.
Chifuyu was covered in blood on the floor, Baji had blood on his hands and face, and was wearing the Valhalla jacket Hanma threw at him.
This had to be a joke... A joke that wasn't funny.
"Chifuyu!" Everyone who heard your voice turned to you. You moved forward and crouched next to Chifuyu on the ground. Your eyes filled with tears. Anger, fear, the feeling of betrayal…
All of them were rising inside you at once.
"You... what do you think you're doing, Baji?"
Kazutora smiled at you as Baji looked at you seriously, and Takemichi looked at you with fearful eyes.
"Y/n-chan"
"Takemichi, get Chifuyu and take him to the hospital."
When he looked at you in disbelief, you yelled at him and sent him to the hospital.
There were dozens of men around you. Hanma jumped up from above and approached you and put his arm around your shoulder.
"Since you're an uninvited guest, we should have you killed here, honey, but thanks to the special bond we have, I forgive you this time."
You glared at him angrily and took his arm off your shoulder and threw it away.
"If you touch me again, you'll end up with a knife in your ass, Shuji Hanma"
Hanma chuckled at her words and this time he threw his arm at Baji
"Tomans 1st Division Captain Keisuke Baji, vice captain Chifuyu, and now Toman's princess 'y/n, l/n'... What a blessed day today! Come on, tell her Baji, tell her that you're a member of Valhalla now, we're going to crush Toman "
When you turned to Baji with Hanma's words, you saw that everyone was quite serious. Hanma smiled at you and took a step closer.
"You will always be welcomed here 'y/n'... How about joining us?"
You bit the inside of your cheek and took a deep breath. You wanted to cry, but not here. You wanted to punch them both, but you wouldn't survive.
You just glared at both of them with hatred and headed for the door. There was not the slightest change in Baji's gaze.
You expected him to stop you, say something, but he didn't. All you heard was Hanma's voice. "I'll wait for your answer beauty"
