So yeah, I finished the drawing of Asha's redesign from Wish :D, maybe I'll make some changes in the future, but I'm happy to have finished it, it should be noted that I haven't seen the movie. , so I can't give my opinion on it yet, but I found it very interesting that their fandom is mainly made up of people who rewrote or made their own version of the movie, they are all very creative and it got me out of an artistic block. that I had a few months ago, but above all I found the rewriting of @annymation which is the one I have been most hooked on, so I wanted to do some redesigns of the characters coming out of its rewriting, that's why everything that has to do with the story of this version of Asha, as well as her personality and her world on which I base my drawing are the ideas and work of this account: @annymation
I'm just making a drawing of her character and how I would design her as well as sharing part of the process I had to do to draw her because, why not?
BOARD:
The first thing I had to do was put together a table full of references that reminded me of the character and things that I would like to add to her design, so I used milanote to do it:
Tumblr media
-Looked for some Asha's concept art and save the ones I liked the most, and add the main colors that I used in the design. -I also created notes to write down the personality of the character and some of his data to have a better guide, I did a little research and found publications that talked a lot about Asha's discarded designs and how Disney workers had put that she had tribe ancestry Amazigh on his mother's side and since his father was from the Iberian Peninsula, that's why the next thing I wanted to do is research more about their culture. -I am not an expert on this topic, nor do I belong to the cultures from which Asha has ancestry, so you can comment on any correction regarding this topic, I wanted to implement details of this culture to her design and I would really like to give a correct representation :)
HAIRSTYLE
Continuing with the theme, I saw that the hairstyles in the Amazigh culture mostly had this type of colorful decorations on their braids and dreadlocks, that's why I also posted these reference photos for Asha's hairstyle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-Finally I decided that Asha would not have all her hair full of braids or dreadlocks, but only a few accompanied by these decorations with a great variation of colors, although it was fun to sketch the many hairstyle options that I had in mind based on these concept art and other photos that I had saved
Tumblr media Tumblr media
TATTOOS:
-Another detail that I liked was giving Asha some tattoos with designs from the Amazigh culture, because I saw that it was quite common for women to get them, the tattoo on her forehead is a symbol of protection against bad influences, that's why the The middle symbol is responsible for deflecting it in the 4 directions, I also added a similar one in Asha's right hand.
Tumblr media
ASTROLOGY AND THE SPACE:
-An important part of Asha's rewrite is her knowledge of astronomy inherited from her father, especially with the stars for obvious reasons xd, so in addition to adding constellations to her dresses, research the meaning (or something like that) of the planets. Only 3 really reminded me of the character, which were: -Mars: Symbolization of the internal conquering function of moving forward, independent, self-determined, enduring failures with new energy, courage and energy to fight for your desires. -Saturn: Maturity, effort to solidly build realistic criteria, frustrations are transformed into objectives to continue growing, critical and realistic, far from getting frustrated when an objective does not work, you strive to move forward and obtain even more resistant and solid achievements, perseverance , and tenacity (I feel like yhis it the most similar to Asha :D) -Moon: protective role, feeling very vulnerable outside your known areas, feeling of security with your ties, importance of family ties. The one that reminded me the most of Asha was Saturn, that's why I drew those Saturn-shaped earrings :).
Tumblr media
SUITS:
I looked for references and placed some on milanote, I noticed that the concept art was mainly divided into whether the dresses have lilac colors or warm colors, I decided to draw 2 models based on the discarded designs, although at first I thought of using only one color palette lilac and bluish, I realized that the reddish colors of her dress reminded me of Mars which has certain meanings that in my opinion coincide with Asha's personality. In the end I didn't decide what wardrobe she would primarily have 😅, but I like to think that in this version of Wish, Asha would have wardrobe and hairstyle changes like in some older Disney movies.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-These are some of the concepts that I mainly used for my version of the dresses
FINAL COMMENTS:
I am satisfied with the result, it was fun to make all this, although what I researched mostly seems little, it actually cost me several hours and I did it at night, so as a funny fact the next day I was explaining all this information to my mother and I felt like I looked like that:
Tumblr media
(Make this drawing was so funny LMAO)
(Apologies if there are errors in my writing, English is not my first language and my writing is very basic)

To the Stars and Back
Pairing- Zane Truesdale x Reader
Word count- about 800
Summary- Zane takes the reader on a stargazing date
The night was clear, the sky adorned with countless twinkling stars as Zane Truesdale stood waiting by your doorstep. The cool breeze carried the promise of a magical evening as he greeted you with a charming smile, his eyes reflecting the vastness of the starry canvas above.
"Are you ready?" Zane asked, a hint of excitement in his voice. He held out a hand, and you gladly took it, feeling a pleasant warmth spread through you at his touch.
The journey to the stargazing spot was filled with comfortable silence. The rhythmic sound of your footsteps echoed in harmony with the night, and occasional glances exchanged between you and Zane spoke volumes. As you reached the chosen spot, a secluded hill overlooking the city, Zane spread out a soft blanket.
"This place has the best view of the night sky," Zane explained, his eyes lighting up with enthusiasm. "You'll love it."
You settled onto the blanket, the grass beneath feeling cool against your skin. Zane produced a small picnic basket, revealing an assortment of snacks and a thermos of hot chocolate. The thoughtful gesture made you smile, and you couldn't help but appreciate the effort he had put into planning the perfect stargazing date.
As darkness settled in, the stars emerged one by one, creating a breathtaking display overhead. Zane pointed out constellations, sharing stories and myths associated with each, his voice a gentle murmur in the quiet night.
"See that cluster of stars there?" Zane asked, tracing a pattern with his finger. "That's Orion's Belt. In ancient mythology, Orion was a great hunter."
You listened intently, captivated by the way Zane spoke about the celestial wonders. The night seemed to stretch endlessly, time slowing down as you lost yourself in the beauty of the cosmos.
Zane reached into his pocket and pulled out a telescope, a gleam of excitement in his eyes. "I brought this. It'll give us an even closer look at the stars."
You took turns peering through the telescope, marveling at the intricate details of distant galaxies and planets. Zane's explanations made the cosmos feel like an enchanting story unfolding right before your eyes.
Amidst the celestial exploration, Zane turned to you with a soft smile. "You know, they say that everyone has their own star in the sky. A unique light that shines just for them."
Your heart skipped a beat at his words, the romantic notion sinking in. Zane's gaze lingered on you, the intensity of his eyes mirroring the starlight above.
"Maybe," he continued, "if you make a wish tonight, your star will hear it."
A comfortable silence settled between you two, the only sounds being the rustle of leaves and the occasional distant chirping of crickets. The world felt suspended, and in that moment, it was just you and Zane under the vast expanse of the universe.
Zane reached into his pocket once again, this time pulling out a small, intricately designed box. He opened it to reveal a delicate silver necklace with a star-shaped pendant.
"I wanted to give you something special," Zane said, his voice soft yet sincere. "A reminder of tonight."
You accepted the gift with gratitude, feeling the weight of the moment and the significance of the gesture. The star pendant caught the ambient starlight, shimmering in the night like a miniature constellation.
As you admired the necklace, Zane scooted closer, his hand finding yours. The closeness brought a gentle warmth, like the gravitational pull of two celestial bodies drawn together.
"Thank you for tonight," you whispered, your voice carrying a depth of emotion.
Zane looked into your eyes, his expression sincere. "No, thank you. Tonight wouldn't have been the same without you."
The night wore on, the two of you lost in quiet conversations and shared glances. The stars continued their timeless dance overhead, bearing witness to a love story unfolding on the hill.
Eventually, as the night began to fade into the early hours of dawn, Zane packed up the telescope and gathered the remnants of the picnic. The journey back down the hill was filled with a comfortable silence, the echoes of the night lingering in the air.
As you reached your doorstep, Zane hesitated for a moment, his eyes searching yours. "I had a wonderful time tonight. Can we do it again sometime?"
A smile tugged at your lips. "I'd like that."
Zane's expression brightened, and he pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead. "Until next time, then."
And with that, he walked away into the early morning light, leaving you standing on your doorstep, the star pendant around your neck a tangible reminder of a night filled with stargazing and the quiet blossoming of something beautiful.

A few days had passed since his initial excursion to the now-defunct Stonehenge base.  A seemingly short stretch of time, but one which he had utilized quite efficiently to make good progress on dismantling it.  All that is left to do now is to get rid of some last few embedded structures and fill up the twisting, bending, and turning cavernous hole made beneath the grounds of Stonehenge, before then eliminating the entrance point entirely.  To that end, he has a few machines up to the task and ready to perform the last few steps needed and altogether, along the Psion himself, it should take very little time to finish up the work.  Time is of the essence in this particular quest; after all, the less time the scraps and landmarks of his invasions stay, the less opportunities there will be for other life-forms to potentially get hurt by things that really shouldn’t otherwise be on Earth at this point in time.  And better yet, the odd sensation he had experienced during his original trip–the very one which had sparked thoughts over the likes of Ancient Ones and stories about them–had quickly subsided after about the third trip or so.  At this juncture, it was more akin to a distant memory; far from the forefront of his mind, but certainly not forgotten.
At this moment however, Gregory is not focusing on continuing his efforts with Stonehenge exactly, but with what he had retrieved from it over the course of several days.  Within the rocky and cavernous formations of Mt. Itoi, the small alien sat at a cube-like table–smooth, pale grey, and shaped exactly like an enormous cube; an apparent slab of refined rock embedded in similarly-designed floors–atop a similar cube-like ‘chair’, with various metallic bits and pieces strewn out before him in an ordered, labeled, and neatly organized configuration.  Truth be told, the primary reason why they were all out as opposed to a particular subset, is because he had gotten a bit too… – ‘enthusiastic’ about the prospect of putting them to use and just inventing!  But, as it stands now, they were not his main project as could be discerned from the way they were shuffled off to the edges of the table.  Rather, the very thing that took priority at this moment and held the highest level of intrigue for the Psion would be that of a broken-down Starman Super, planted firmly in the very centre of the table and right in the crosshairs of his exceedingly concentrated and unblinking gaze.
While this model of Starman could hardly be regarded as the ‘best’ or most ‘powerful’, they generally had a more reliable and lengthier record of consistent performances as opposed to the newer models that ended up being produced later on.  That is precisely why the fact that he had to recover one at all is of special interest.  Due to built-in security functions, it is quite rare for Starmen to remain after becoming damaged enough that they can no longer fight or otherwise perform assigned duties.  Typically, the Starman will either teleport away on its own or be recalled by an automatic teleportation process directly back to the Psion-controlled manufacturing planet, on which they are produced.  An eventuality that failed to elapse here.  He pulls up the yellow sleeve of his sweater on his right hand, diamond insignia seemingly embedded in his wrist facing down and hovered over the precise centre of the Starman Super’s chest, where it immediately emits a pale blue beam that juts out to outline the entire body.  The blue hued luminescence overlaps with the golden armored coating of the Starman Super for a split second, flashing a total of three times, before vanishing to be replaced by a medium-sized white-blue holographic screen that pops up just above the top of his wrist.  A screen, which on closer examination, is now packed with a series of blue star-like shapes connected by lines in some places like perceived constellations.
Psion script.  An especially thorough and detailed diagnostics report.  Utilizing a small finger, he slowly scrolls through the reported data, glancing over at the Starman Super for a more visual reference as he does so.  Some of the data is quite obvious from a rudimentary visual assessment:  cracked visor, missing arm, and a gaping hole in the chest just off to the right surrounded by a myriad of cracks which stop at the shoulder of the missing arm in question.  Dark blue voids narrow just a bit with a pensive swipe of his tail off to the side, small fingers momentarily tapping his chin in kind.  While Starmen were not made to be invincible… even at the highest ranking… it was quite telling of just how strong and determined humans can be to have damaged even a Super this much in battle.  But, then they were heroes were they not?  Even if it takes everything they have at that moment a true hero would not give up just like that, especially when there were several human lives at stake here in that particular facility.  Strong or not, they had to somehow overcome the enemies in their way, to save the people captured and continue on to stop the invasion overall.
In the end, humans are neither as fragile and weak as one might think nor as ‘inherently’ dangerous as the Psions had determined.  He pauses his scrolling, having reached the abrupt end of the diagnostics report, before having it vanish with a succinct snap of his fingers.  The exact nature of the point of error is a little tricky to determine, but it seems to have quite a bit to do with a complicated manufacturing defect.  One that was exaggerated by the damages sustained from the Chosen Ones’ collective attack in battle.  An easy fix… by removing the infrastructure for that automatic recall function entirely.  He has no intentions of ever drawing further attention to the Earth or himself like that… though if he hopes to even be ‘good’ at all one day, then perhaps that eventuality will manifest in some way anyways.
But, not like this.
Not in a way that would send a definitive ‘failure’ back to his species of origin.  Perhaps an odd choice to make for an entity that has been a machine–no better than a far simpler tool–from the very beginning, but it is his choice to make.  He does not need to follow the path of other Psions and similarly, perhaps with some work, this ‘failure’ need not follow the path of other Starmen.  After all, most ‘failures’ are not as absolute as is often the default arbitrary assumption.  An enthusiastic swish of his rat-like tail, ears perking up more attentively than before.  Rather they are more akin to opportunities for increased growth and strength; a critical part of any scientific endeavor!  He pulls himself to a stand atop the chair before promptly hopping onto the table with a definitive spring to the motion.  And in any case, he cannot deny that he is just a bit curious, all too enthused by the action of tinkering around with a broken model.  What will happen if he not only repairs the Super, but alters the very programming which shuttles its more complex thought processes into the single-minded slot of following given objectives?  Can it exist like any other life-form when all it has ever known, from the very moment it was first powered on, was set by orders?
Several tools of assorted sizes and shapes materialize in the air at the Psion’s sides, outlined in the pale blue of his telekinetic abilities, as he closes in on the defunct Starman and a flurry of ideas begin to knock around in his mind on how to approach this particular endeavor.  His typically blank demeanor gains a kind of determined edge to it; a glint in otherwise dull pupils.  Time to find out and in the process of doing so, also (hopefully) provide this so-called ‘failure’ with the opportunity to be more… and do more… than what its original design had dictated.  Much like Gregory himself.
…………………………….
It takes a little time–albeit not much with the tools and expertise at Gregory’s disposal–but soon enough, he finishes his work and moves to boot the Starman Super back up.  On the outside, it looks almost identical albeit with repairs that are quite evident (read:  not appearing as though it had never been damaged in the first place) barring that of the visor; the cracks, hole, and missing arm filled in or otherwise replaced by a light iridescent fluid-like substance that glitters strangely when lighting hits it just the right way.  Something he had likely obtained far beyond the Earth and integrated his own way while repairing the Starman afterwards.  Gregory pulls out the holographic screen of the computer attached to his wrist and taps in a few sequences before dismissing the screen altogether and simply observing the Starman Super with bated anticipation, small hands tensely grasping each other.  For a moment or two, nothing happens, but soon enough it boots back up with an abrupt jerk in motion.  An oddly powerful motion–beyond what is generally expected–unbefitting of a Starman Super, but perhaps expected given the Psion’s own expertise around technology like this; more than likely, he had done more than merely repair.
Sitting up on the table, a rigid and stiff motion like a puppet pulled by strings, the Starman Super merely turns its head from side to side–clearly malleable and almost fluid in motion due to its innate composition–analyzing… assessing… before settling on the one that had repaired it, still atop the table himself and peering down unblinkingly.  It clearly could not gather its bearings enough to discern what had happened exactly, a peculiar sort of lightness and boundlessness permeating its operating systems like nothing that had ever been experienced before, but supposed that it wouldn’t matter because a Psion was here.  Focus.  A Psion would know what the situation is exactly, irrespective of how unconventional wearing any apparel at all is in the species.  It further focuses on the Psion in question, determining that a rudimentary scan for identity would be fitting here.  And not just any Psion, but the very one it was made for in the first place.  Maybe.  The signature given off is odd–almost unreadable and distorted, like something that against cosmic laws, shouldn’t even exist in the first place–but somehow, it can make out enough legible bits to discern his identity, likely due to the upgrades received.
“Master Giegue.”
A single mechanical utterance, curiously absent of any of the whirrrs or clicks that typically adorn the speech of Starman robots, before the Psion himself could even say anything.  The repaired Starman glances down, as if noting the table and surrounding mechanical bits for the very first time, recorded memories of what had happened before syncing back up as it does so.  The situation immediately clears, alertness breaking through the momentary disorientation, and with it, an inquiry tinged with something difficult to parse, comes through with a sting.  Something it had never experienced before, but seemed all too ‘natural’ to experience now in light of its evident failure to stop the Chosen Ones and worse yet, require direct retrieval by a Psion.  And even worse than that? energy expended by its commander himself when he had far more important things to concern himself with;  it was only a lower rank after all.  A mere Super that could easily be replaced in less time than it takes to snap one’s fingers.
“Why did you retrieve me yourself?”
A halting sensation.  Did it really speak without determining if the Psion himself wanted to address it with more pressing matters, dictated by his own priorities?  With a Psion?  Its dark visor almost scrunches up in almost affronted befuddlement.  It had never done this before.  Where had such audacity come from?  Is it possible that perhaps Master Giegue had made a mistake during repairs?  The Starman Super taps its repaired arm overtop the table, as if testing it out to assure effectiveness, before mentally retracting that question.  Of course not.  Master Giegue was very competent and though his form had changed significantly… it is certain that this would not have changed.  Not that he seems to have given any indication at all that he’s heard such thoughts.  Rather the Psion continued to stare unblinkingly, a gaze so unnaturally sharp that the weak of heart would certainly feel as though they were being examined to an uncomfortable degree, with a blank expression on his face before eventually speaking.
“You need not refer to me as such anymore.”
He floats back, so as to give the Starman Super some space, and perches himself back on the chair he had previously been utilizing, stubby arms neatly crossing behind his back in a rather militant position; authoritative as always, even in such a small form.  Then a small pause, a small deliberation over how much to explain, before deigning to just let the robot guide the conversation.  This way he will be able to collect better observations and thus, study it better now that it has free will.
“I am Gregory.
The invasion of Earth has concluded.  There will be no further maneuvers enacted against the life-forms of Earth.  And so, I have elected to remove all foreign structures and materials from this planet.
You are among that which I have retrieved thus far.”
A blunt response, but it would expect no less from him.  If anything, the only aspect of impact to the given data would be just how much everything had changed.  A significant enough gap between its last conscious moments, before being shut down by the coordinated assault of the Chosen Ones, and now that it inspires the expression of experiencing ‘whiplash’ from it all.  One moment, the Starman Super was part of a unified effort to terminate humanity once and for all and the next, the war had long since concluded a few months prior (according to data retrieved on when it was last active) and the objective had changed accordingly.  Ordinarily, a trivial adjustment.  Simply recalibrate databanks to what is now and continue on seamlessly without sparing another thought on the matter.  Just follow the Psion in-charge, but something else grips an otherwise previously unruffled and almost tunnel-vision-like focus.  A peculiar impulse that had never existed before.  An expansion on the halting sensation.  An involuntary push back against the familiarity of their… its mechanical awakening by whatever it is that exists beyond the rigid barriers which defined its mind before.  A subtle sense that could only increase more and more over time at an exponential rate since being reactivated.  It is as though, it had been bound by something–but never realized it for being bound from the very start had been all it had ever known–before and now that there were no safe rails to keep it from falling, it had tipped over and fallen into the nebulous abyss of unknowns before; chaotic and disorganized data.
It doesn’t know what to think about all this.  The sense to really question what Mas–... Gregory is doing or any other details that might better assist in bridging the gap simply isn’t there.  Even with that (maybe erroneous) boundlessness, it cannot quite detract entirely from what comes the most naturally to it; mechanical acceptance without delving any deeper on the subject matter and ultimately under the assumption, that if any further data were critical he would have said something.  The only twinge of anything else, the very deviation which it had been silently documenting thus far, that comes through is the very point of confusion (among other things) which had guided its original question.
“But, I am only a Starman Super. And I failed my objective.
I could not stop the group referred to as the ‘Chosen Ones’.”
Another bout of that halting sensation.  No calculations had guided this.  Rather it had been that limitless nebulous substance filling its body; a process so thorough that it ‘felt’ as though it manages to squeeze itself in-between the very lines of code that comprised its very being.  An anomalous move.  Yet one that it is becoming increasingly certain, against all confusion, shock, and doubt, that it might repeat if given the chance.  A heaviness had blossomed through its metallic body and in some odd way, the only ‘calculated’ solution was to address the Psion, even if a little out-of-order to prioritize such a thing over awaiting new orders.
As for Gregory himself, he says nothing at first.  He barely even gives any indication that he had heard the Starman Super’s words; rather he remains as still as a statue but nonetheless focused.  Perhaps a touch more focused than before, dark blue voids narrowing a bit in concentration, as he tries to pick his words carefully.  His work had produced results–as expected–but he had not considered the more ‘emotional’ aspect of it in full.  He uncrosses his arms, off the more militant posture and into something alert, but a touch more comparatively relaxed.  Or rather, that he would have to exercise any kind of skill–limited as he is–in that particular category.  Small fingers begin to tap against one another with a distinct uneasiness.  In the end, although this particular Starman was still early in its experience of having free will and the ability to develop as a sapient entity, he supposes that the best approach would be to… ‘speak from the heart’ as humans would put it.  To appear not as an authoritative figure in full, but as someone that… ‘understands’.
It is the… ‘good’ thing to do after all, is it not?
“That does not matter.
I could not stop the Chosen Ones either, even at the height of my power.
So… do not… do not… Um.”
An abrupt pause after stumbling a few times in a way that even his relatively neutral tone could not conceal.  He needs a moment to regather his courage and utilize it to push through, even if it might not necessarily mean much to a being that until recently was little more than a machine.
“Do not ‘take it’ so hard.
They were simply too strong to stop.
My orders were unreasonable from the very beginning.”
The gold-hued robot itself straightens up from its previously stagnancy, the focus of its dark visor shifting back more directly to the Psion himself, more alert and intent on better understanding him this time around.  The verbal stumble was unusual–almost unprecedented for a Psion– as was the overall shift in demeanor, but then he clearly wasn’t just any Psion.  For someone that had elected to pursue objectives, other than what was dictated to him by his own superiors, no other outcome would be expected.  Either way, it was difficult to parse out anything beyond the impersonal facts, but it nonetheless does assuage, even if only a tiny amount, some of that heaviness felt.  Whatever did not get lifted and pulled away… it continues to push the robot forward with increasingly bold resolve, in the hopes of better understanding at the very least.  A slightly befuddled mental pause.  Understanding…?  Yes.  Understanding.  It has already veered into this direction.  It might as well see this matter through.
“Then… why?
The scope of your new objective does not necessitate conducting repairs.  You only need to collect foreign materials and discard or repurpose them.
A non-violent endeavor and thus, of little need for the services of a Starman much less a broken one.  An endeavor that is not even sanctioned by the Psion superiors which govern the home-planet.
Endeavors which, by definition, thus cannot have purpose and meaning.”
An unanticipated extrapolation from its initial intentions, but perhaps inevitable due to its currently unusual state of being.  It had been set to accept things as is without questioning one of a decidedly higher level of importance than the robot itself, but this unusual awakening has made it increasingly bolder and more… ‘free-thinking’? the more that time elapses.  This situation is actually quite unusual itself.  Even though the Psion himself behaves in a largely similar manner to others, there are just as many–perhaps even more–ways in which he doesn’t.  Only now, reinforced and pushed through by an unprecedented drop in the authoritativeness of his demeanor, does it properly hit the Starman Super.
What kind of Psion stops doing their predetermined purpose?  How does anyone really derive meaning and purpose without it being given to them by Psions?  Why would anyone want to when it is simpler to just follow their assigned path and do what they were created for in the first place?
Things like this make him very un-Psion-like.  A deviation from how he had been during the invasions of Earth.  Or had he been like this, secretly, from the very start?
“How do you exist without purpose and meaning?"
The pale alien himself simply stares without a blink, observing as closely as ever with trademark stoicism, and listens with a kind of critical glint to his eyes.  He had been closely observing, collecting the subsequent data from his observations, and filing it away for later analysis from the very beginning.  This is, after all, just as much what he thinks is ‘good’ to do as an action born of scientific curiosity.  And yet, as time elapses more and more, as the Starman continues to shift more and more from its default robotic settings due to his own implemented alterations during repairs, he finds that curiosity being overtaken by an entirely different feeling altogether.  Something which peaks and bursts when the robot moves onto the topic of Psions, predetermined roles, and deriving meaning from them.  Not anger or defensiveness.  Hardly.  This had been his choice from the very beginning, but something equally passionate in measure.  The very thing which had kept him centered and motivated enough to even get to this point, absolved of false ‘duties’ to the Psions and their social constructions and free to live at all, flares up and burns away ironclad stoicism and rationality:  determination.  The very determination which drove him to continue advancing forward, even everything seemed lost and all hope was gone.  He had fought quite a bit to have his own life.  His own independence.  His own freedom.
A very notion that he feels compelled to convey to the other, in part because of how important it actually is and in part, because of how much this sort of robotic thought process reminds Gregory of how he used to be before coming to his senses.  He does not expect for anything to change drastically, but this… ‘feels’ like something he should say anyways.  It could be useful later on in the future.  He floats up a little, posture tensed a little with alertness, so that he can better return the Starman Super’s gaze before responding, a bit of authoritativeness entering his otherwise blankly neutral tone.
“Because I wanted to.  I do not need any other reason to do anything.
I exist the way that I do because I want to.
I have elected to pursue a particular set of objectives because I want to.
Meaning and purpose is not something that you obtain from others.  But, rather something that you give yourself.”
A pause and he floats back down to his chair, tone dropping back down to perfect neutrality.  A pause that is promptly extended by a moment or two as a twinge of discomfort strikes him at how to neatly end off the answer.  It is not enough to simply state his viewpoint.  And it is not his intention to influence the path chosen by the robot necessarily… it is more ‘correct’ to stick a more open-ended addendum to it, just in case.
“Do you understand?”
At the inquiry, as blunt as it is simple, the Starman Super itself remains silent for a few seconds before shifting its head back and forth in a kind of makeshift nod.  It does not understand entirely, but evidently his perspective is quite strong.  One that could only have been accumulated by various experiences.  Maybe if it set out to accumulate various experiences, it might understand too.  Gregory is a Psion after all.  No matter how strange, if he came to such a conclusion after all this time, there might be some merit to it.  But, only time would tell.  As it stands now, the gold-hued robot is uncertain as to what its next moves should be exactly.  Altered or not, guidance and structure is needed, and so with steeled focus it issues a new inquiry.
“Understood.  What should my new purpose be?”
A question that goes against the philosophy uttered by the Psion, but one that the robot itself cannot help.  A step back from the elevated autonomy shown and into the comforting familiarity of all it has ever known.  It simply lacks the ability to think about how to structure its around anything other than answering to a Psion and even less ability to convey this in a way other than bluntly straightforward.  Nonetheless, a moment later, it decides to rectify the question.  A hasty–despite the flatness of its mechanical voice–correction.
“Or more so.  How do you determine purpose?”
An odd concept for the robot itself.  Robots of its class weren’t built to determine their own purposes like that.  Not even Psions do that.  They have more autonomy, but no one just chooses their own path like that.  All the same, it has to know and so, it patiently waits out the pause that the Psion himself takes to mull over the inquiry.  He rubs a hand under his chin, calculating the best way to answer, before just doing so.  There was little to lose by just being honest.  He had already done so in a way unbefitting of the usual demeanor that he presents.
“I… am insufficiently equipped to answer your inquiry in full.
I suppose that while I may hold a particular philosophy, I have not yet fully developed my own purpose.  It is something that I am currently attempting to discern over time.
Until then, I suppose that it is enough to dedicate services towards helping others and supporting the natural growth of the universe at large.”
A pensive swish of his tail.
“Nonetheless.  I believe that ‘purpose’ has quite a bit to do with the accumulation of experiences and the guiding principles that one develops from them as a result.
As such, the only way to determine ‘purpose’ on one’s own, is to simply conduct various activities.  Accumulate a variety of differing experiences to then further analyze.”
The Starman Super enacts a motion unusual to its robotic categorization; a tilt of the head, as if genuinely attempting to algorithmically process the unconventional viewpoint before ultimately defaulting back to, once again, mechanical familiarity.
“Current experiences dictate continuing to follow orders from a Psion. My Psion.  You.”
It pauses to raise a tentacle-like arm, its repaired one, to point at Gregory so as to further reinforce its point, before dropping it and continuing on.
“I am not capable of discerning any other purpose or determining what kinds of experiences to assemble to formulate a different ‘purpose’. Even if your objectives are your own... as the Psion for which I was created… I will remain by your side and fulfill orders related to your new objectives.”
An anticipated result.  Growth and development… freedom… takes time to truly acquire, even when unbound from the figurative shackles which had previously held a given life-form.  The Psion himself, though it is difficult to admit even to just himself, certainly has experience with that.  After all, even though his motivations had been quite a bit personal with regards to the second invasion of Earth, deep-down he had been hoping to regain his good standing with the Psion species.  Or rather, the good standing he thought he had.  To be ‘normal’... when they never really let him.  He almost frowns at that.  The Psion knows better now.  Those things are no longer important.  All that matters now is how he can best reorient himself with the values that Maria once held;  perhaps not his own original values, but ones that Gregory, on his own, determined were worth following.  Values which he would continue following, even if it were to leave him isolated and alone forever.  Even if it were to turn the whole universe against him.
True heroes never give up trying to do what is ‘good’.  And above all else, they help others, even if it inconveniences them.  The situation with the Starman Super might be an inconvenience–namely in the sense that it defeats the purpose a little to have this one under his command when his intent had been to give it the opportunity for more–but, it is once that he will have to accept.  If not for the fact that his partially curiosity-driven meddling makes it his responsibility anyways, then certainly because it is the ‘good’ thing to do.  Because it is what a hero would do.  He floats back and off the chair to give the Starman Super some space if it were to want to move itself from the table.  Small clawed digits begin to tap anew, tail swishing behind him in an uneasy manner, before he forces himself to just get on with it already.
“In that case.  Perhaps.  W… –we can.  Um.”
Another stumble and pause; a momentary break to his authoritarian tone.  Things like this really aren’t his ‘strong suit’.  There’s something decidedly difficult about talking like this; no better than trying to move through an especially thick and viscous substance.  He takes a moment to, once again, regather his courage before pressing on.  He might not like it, but he supposes that if he is to eventually achieve his overarching goal, he needs to get used to it.  Such a thing can only be achieved by continued exposure.
“... –figure out our respective ‘purposes’.  Together.”
The golden-hued robot in question jumps off the table, testing its limbs, before addressing the Psion’s proposal.  It doesn’t need to mull over this much.  Its mind had already been made up.  No matter what the Psion does, it will continue to support him and this time around, succeed as opposed to fail like before.  It might only be a Super, but for what Gregory wants to achieve, that is more than sufficient.
“What are your preliminary orders?”

In a realm where the veins of magic and technology intertwine, she was known as Elyra, the last scion of the House of Auletes, descendants of the great Ptolemy XII, who, in ancient lore, had once brokered peace with the stars. The world had since turned on an axis of steel and spell, where starships sailed the cosmic sea, guided by astromancers and fueled by arcane energies.
Elyra, draped in armor that was both relic and revelation, stood amidst the emerald embrace of the Whispering Forest, a living library of ancient wisdom. Her eyes, a reflection of the planet's twin moons, scanned the holographic constellations projected from her gauntlet—an ancestral gift that whispered of her lineage to Ptolemy XII Auletes, a ruler whose love for music was said to soothe even the most tumultuous nebulas.
She was on a quest that transcended time, seeking the fabled Aetheric Conductor, an instrument of Ptolemy's own design, lost to the ages, that could harmonize planetary energies. Legends spoke of its power to avert cosmic calamities, and Elyra believed it to be the key to stopping the Cataclysm, a creeping darkness consuming stars in the galaxy's edge.
Accompanied by her AI companion, Lyros, who wore the guise of a golden eagle perched upon her shoulder, Elyra journeyed through fractured dimensions and quantum storms. The symphony of the Aetheric Conductor called to her in dreams, a melody twining with the digital hymns of her ship's engines.
When at last she found the instrument, cradled within the heart of a dying star, Elyra didn't hesitate. Her touch awakened the Conductor, and it sang in her grasp, its music a bridge between ancient past and desperate future. With Ptolemy's legacy in her hands, Elyra conducted the celestial orchestra, realigning the discordant frequencies of the galaxies.
The Cataclysm faltered, its shadows dissolving into stardust as the Conductor's melody became the anthem of rebirth. Elyra, the last Auletes, had saved countless worlds, her story etched into the annals of the cosmos—a tale of a guardian whose harmony was her shield, and whose courage ignited the stars.

gallavich week 2021 - day 4 - lyrics
@gallavichthings
space boy, show me the stars you know the galaxies of my heart (from 'space girl' by frances forever)
Tumblr media
when ian was little, monica used to take them to the science museum sometimes. while lip rambled to fiona about all the different exhibits, ian was solely lost in the stars.
in the planetarium, ian swore he was weightless. like he felt the infinity. lip had once told him that infinity meant really, really big, and ian felt really, really big.
monica would stretch out under the stars with him and point out the different constellations. cassiopeia was the queen with unrivaled beauty, but ian thought his mom was even prettier.
the only birthday party ian had wanted for his 7th year around the sun was a space themed party. fiona made little alien costumes for baby debs and carl, who looked absolutely ridiculous. ian's cake was a rocket ship, designed by lip with candles meticulously placed for lift off.
lip tried to understand his obsession, listening to ian talk about the stars for what seemed like hours. one afternoon, he came home and stuck little plastic stars on their ceiling. at nights when ian couldn't sleep, he would count the stars and think of his big brother. it helped.
supernovas. black holes. galaxies. big planets. small planets. but they all had their place in the universe. like the gallaghers all had their place in their family.
over the years, it became family tradition to watch cosmos together. at first, it was the only show that ian would pay attention to. but soon enough, everyone was hooked, even kev and v from next door. ian was thankful for his own little solar system.
when ian first met the gruff boy with the dark hair, it felt like his universe had shifted, aligned, in some way. he didn't understand it at first, but he was pulled to him in ways he had never known.
he spent hours gazing into the boy's eyes. so blue. they reminded him of neptune. neptune may be the coldest planet in the solar system, but with mickey, all ian felt was warmth.
some nights, out in the old baseball dugouts, ian would take note of the phases of the moon. ian hoped that mickey's amiability wouldn't just be a phase. he didn't think he could take it if it was.
"you wanna lay out a blanket and look for shooting stars next?"
he did.
on ian's birthday one year, mickey had took him to the rooftop of the abandoned building they frequented. that was nothing new. what was new was the metallic contraption. mickey. "you like it?" "mickey, that's a fucking telescope." "i know what it is, dipshit, we stargazing tonight or what?"
sometimes the club lights in boystown reminded ian of the cosmos.
on one of the occasions when ian's mind turned itself into a black hole, mickey took him outside. it was cold. mickey covered him with as many blankets as he could, but it wasn't enough to warm the chill of his heart. he sat still as they watched the moon and mickey told stories about what he would do if he lived up there, if they lived up there together.
when mickey was gone, he spent a lot of time with the stars thinking about what could have been. he wondered if the stars he was looking at were long dead or still burning bright. he thought he understood what lightyears felt like.
"you ever think, back in the day, this is where we'd be?"
gazing at the moon by the mexican border wasn't too unlike gazing at the moon in chicago. but it felt different, he was split. he silently begged the universe for a sign. he wasn't sure if he heard one.
sitting on his mother's grave, lone in the cemetary, ian stared up at the stars again. he hoped monica was dancing up there with cassiopeia.
ian thought he heard the universe talk to him. he wanted so badly to listen. he needed help. he couldn't do this on his own.
he wouldn't.
on the eve of his wedding night, ian thanked the lucky stars for how they aligned.
in their new home, ian watched as the moonlight glinted off the metallic rings shared by him and his husband. saturn ain't got nothing on them.
ian and mickey sat on their back porch leaned up against each other, watching the dog chase their kid around their yard. ian laughed as his daughter carefully brought him a firefly she had caught in her tiny hands, "look daddy! a star bug!" "very cool, nova! why don't you catch one for dad?" mickey rolled his eyes. he wasn't a fan of bugs, no matter how much they glowed.
ian had always been a stargazer, but mickey. mickey was the one who had truly showed him the stars. what it meant to love so blindingly and bright. what it meant to feel warm and safe in the cold. what it meant to shine in the darkness. he lit up his whole galaxy.

World Building Wednesday!~ Etherium
🌼 I decided to share one of my AU worlds that is not Fell based. Yes... I know... what is the world coming to? Etherium in essence is my stab at an Outertale based universe though the story and the designs are very different. I really enjoy this one though I don’t talk about it too much. Let’s get started!
Etherium AU
Classification: Outertale Alternate “Nicknames” Info:
Tumblr media
Sans: Nova- Nova is the trickster though he is mostly associated with that of Loki. Loki is described specifically as “Playful, malicious ( ok maybe not that one), helpful, and nihilistic.” He helps others in a kind of goofy over the top way. He just doesn’t take much seriously. Nova is one of the youngest. He acts very childish at times coming to question how long he has been among the pantheon. Some argue his many centuries gave him a nihilistic outlook on life or that he is too young to understand the true ways of the world.
Not to say that Nova can’t be serious but he is pretty laid back. It’s one of the reasons unlike the others he doesn’t really keep his cultural ties in his design. He should have more Norse in it but nah… varsity jackets are cozy right? I mean he is wearing star shorts for stars sake. When asked about his job he mentions, “Hey, there kiddo. Nice of ya to drop by. Been up to? Heh well got a “new” job which is pretty cool. Not as cool as Pollux but I help arrange stars. Ya know, like the ones you see in the sky you can make pictures out of? I think you humans call em… constellations. One time I made this giant whoopee cushion one. “Then I lost ma job. Got a second chance though. Andromeda's constantly watchin me. hehe no harm done though.”  Both Pollux and Nova refer to each other as brothers but it is unclear if they are biologically related. Their abilities and strengths are nearly opposite and their mythos even more so.
Tumblr media
Papyrus: Pollux- The presumed older brother of Nova. Pollux is associated with Egyptology specifically wisdom. Pollux tends to be the opposite of Nova in that he takes his job very seriously. Once on earth he was known as Thoth gracing humanity with a mechanical and architectural knowledge that astounded the world. His mind and intellect put him at the forefront of innovation making him one of Capricorn's best and most trusted advisors.
He enjoys testing the mental prowess of others using puzzles and riddles of his own design. Unlike canon Pap Pollux cares more about balance in life. Something his younger brother seems to lack. Not all work and not all play. He is kind, helpful, and willing to give advice to anyone that is looking for it. To the little human Frisk he is a good mentor and teacher. (Pollux has made it his pastime to create a series of challenges to prove a humans worth. If they pass then they are able to speak/ see them. No one has managed to prove themselves.)
(more characters and info below the cut)
Undyne: Andromeda- Andromeda is not different from canon Undyne as she embodies the Mayan mythology. She is mostly closely associated with the feathered serpent Quetzalcóatl. A deity of wind and rain. Also known as the life giver. Though Andromeda tends to harken back to her more aggressive roots she has a deep respect for the King and acts as his guard. Just like Pollux she too acts as an advisor, though more on matters of security than strategy or mechanics. Such a position is where she first met Elara and to this day the two are inseparable sharing their very different cultures. Her favorite kind of anime to watch are mech based.
Alphys: Elara- Very similar to canon Alphys just as this version of Undyne is. Alphys is based off of Sukuna-Biko-Na (少名毘古那) or the shinto god of medicine and rain. Elara is still very much a scientist and one that has a unique fascination with living things. Everything from the planets, to humans, animals, and plant life. She particularly enjoys spending time in her private greenhouse creating and taking care of all of the plant life. Before the monsters were forced to leave their place among the humans she was able to collect all the DNA of the plants and animals on the planet.
They are stored in a kind of ark in which to preserve them if anything threatens their existence. Elara is very traditional in her work as her medicines are derived from her magic as well as herbal substances. She is very curious however as she is not allowed to interact with the progress of humanity but rather watches from afar. This is where her love of anime takes hold. Her favorites are ones like Sailor Moon or any type of magical girl anime. She will sit with Andromeda and watch them for hours. Her demeanor is very shy at first but once she opens up she will be a friend for life.
Asgore: Capricorn- The head of the cosmic pantheon he is the King as he is in the original. He is associated with Celtic mythos though he has taken on many pantheon roles in his lifetime. Ambisagrus, a god of thunder and lightning, Ancestor God, Sky God, God of Wind, Rain & Hail is what he is based off of. One such role is that of Zeus who’s main symbol is that of lightning and thunder. Just like the Zeus of mythology Capricorn is constantly debating his involvement with humanity.
Whether that be to stop their technological advances or aiding in their lives. A large portion of his time was spent with his subjects not so much his wife Aurora who is the jealous type. Capricorn is not a ruthless leader but he does know that sometimes hard decisions must be made. Just like UT Asgore he is kind and benevolent, however, he has a temper if you make him angry enough. His magical abilities lean more toward lighting then fire but he has that ability as well. He tasked Elara to watch over human development should a problem arise.
Toriel: Aurora- The Queen to Capricorn she is known to be easily jealous. It would explain why Zeus wife Hera also shares these traits. Her Gaelic deity tie is that of Arianrhod a goddess of the moon and stars. She creates life from the stars she creates sometimes causing them to take a form of their own. They are almost like living constellations. Some say that the Queen made such life to combat her own loneliness which her Son and Husband spent time away. In addition to the stars she is also known for being a loving mother and caregiver. In her time on earth she used to watch over and protect children and their families. Aurora though previously jealous of her simple in the universe has come to accept and embrace it. She is kind but rather over protective. Anyone that forsakes life will feel her wrath.
Muffet: Umbra- Umbra is associated with Hindu mythology as a goddess of wealth and prosperity. Though earthly riches do not concern Umbra she still has a taste for the fine silks and gold that she once had on earth. A little about the goddess that she represents: Lakshmi's name comes from the Sanskrit word laksya, meaning an aim or goal. She is the goddess of wealth and prosperity, both material and spiritual. Unlike UT Muffet, Umbra also focuses on a spiritual wealth. A peace of mind.
She is ever the optimist even when things do not turn out to go her way. In times of need she is called those in the struggles of self worth trying to bring them into a different understanding. There have been many a time when Umbra calms Capricorns quick and rash judgements, much to Auroras displeasure. Just as with the rest of the pantheon she is kind and helpful even with her yearning to return to the people she so loved before they were forced to the outskirts of the galaxy.
Grillby: Helio- Helio derived from sun is my OT Grillby. He out of all the characters could care less about either being a deity or an observer. He is known to be at a middle ground. He would rather live his days running a social establishment but during his time on earth he was known for his magic. Originally he was the right hand of Capricorn being depicted as a war deity for his fiery nature. He was the general of grand armies. His armor is something he hung up long ago but if called into court he will wear it once again. It’s design is very reminiscent of Roman centurions.
Though depictions of him are curious since his name back then was referred to as Merlin. He was best known for him magic and alchemy and the concoctions he made during a period of time far lacking in imagination. Just like Nova, Helio, tended to interfere far too often in the affairs of man though noble in purpose. He tends to be outcast among the pantheon for his past conduct but he is content in his lab mixing crazy concoctions. Everything from love potions to disguises. His forte is all about alchemy and magic.
Asriel: Azicree (Azi)- Azicree or Azi for short is the Crown Prince. By monster standards Azi is still very young, however, he has lived for far longer than any human can fathom. His mother used to shelter him until he begged for his father to let him prove himself. He still acts like a child always curious and desiring some form of exploration. Much to Capricorns dismay Azi enjoys spending time with Nova and the two become pranksters in general. He tends to not do as he is told, which is why they are in this mess in the first place. His reckless behavior had him appearing to a human that begged for his salvation.
The matters of life and death are ones that are not to be messed with. Those that do find their souls being tainted for all eternity turning them into something other than just a monster. 9X is an example of such tampering. Azi does learn his lesson and begins to try and shape up to be a worthy successor to his father if such a thing ever did come to pass. He studies off of all those he knows especially Pollux who is more than happy to share such knowledge. His associations are non existent since he was born after the times of gods. His abilities seem to be mimic based.
He is able to learn about abilities and use them at will. It is rare that monsters have children and as such Azi is the little prodigy child even though there are many times he just wants to be a kid. He makes friends with Frisk very quickly and learn a lot from the human visitor.
Gaster: Nero is the Gaster of this universe. He is Capricorns pantheon counterpart. In essence the Hades to his Zeus. He is the monster that everyone thinks about when darkness takes hold. He is the one that associates with apocalyptic events such as ragnarok. He is however not evil by any stretch of the imagination. He would be better suited to be called a god of chaos. He tends to reject the laws placed upon the rest of the pantheon regardless of repercussions.
It’s speculated that both Pollux and Nova were a part of him and crafted into the monsters that are known today. Nova being his more devious side which Pollux is more his intellect and drive. He has been locked away for a very long time in a prison aptly named Tarturus. His abilities are space and time oriented very similar to Nova which makes him difficult to imprison. He of course has been in his cell for quite some time and it is unclear if he actually has had a change of heart or using it as a manipulation tactic.
The only one he speaks with on occasion is Azi wanting to learn more about this planet they all used to call home. It is information that the others tend to not speak of. His father more so as he is afraid it will instill a yearning in his son. Nero’s genius is on par with his godly abilities such as creating artificial intelligence. Something that is not considered life. He uses Azi as a template for this new program...
Tumblr media
FLOWEY:
F- Friendly
L- Life-like
O- Operating system
W- With
E- Earthbound
Y- Yearning
Tumblr media
F.L.O.W.E.Y was created by 9x and Nova with Azi as a template. He is a charismatic AI who was originally created as a helper as well as to teach the Prince about their planet of origin. Unfortunately Flowey does not have the same reservations about disobeying his father as Azi does. Even going so far as to integrate with key and vital systems in The Capital. He even manages to intercept a human vessel that he finds exploring. Flowey is not evil he just is driven to be the best help he can without regards to any type of consequences. He helps Frisk meet and learn more about their existence. He acts as a companion.
However when Frisk becomes friends with Azi Flowey's AI goes haywire. He begins to feel emotions he is not technically allowed to such as jealousy. This causes him to try and eliminate those threatening him which in this case would be all the monsters. Eventually Azi attempts to program himself into the interface changing it’s initial programming.
Blookie: Nebula
Riverperson: Omni
Gerson: Quasar
The Ursas: Ursa Major/Minor
Greater Dog/ Lesser Dog: Canis Major/Minor
MTT: Gigabit

Tumblr media
Background and Context:
A long time ago there lived beings of great power. They could bend space and time with a simple thought and bring life to their creations. These were the gods. Ones of great benevolence but also great and terrifying power. Humanity, a primitive race just starting to understand life itself, became their focus. At first their interaction was very rare only occasionally appearing to help but as time went on those interactions became more drastic. Their assistance and knowledge was seen as godlike to this humans.
They would bring gifts and offerings to their new deities in hopes that they would look favorably upon them. That they would impart their wisdom and magic if they were pleased. In time this became more and more tradition. A religion built upon pleasing these deities so that their lives would be far improved but this became a conundrum for the beings. Some remained benevolent and helpful while others becomes greedy and wrathful. The power began to go to their minds corrupting their souls. These instances were written down in variation by the humans making up grandiose stories of fiery chariots and jealous gods. Thus mythology came into being for humanity. A way to explain the things in which they did not understand.
As with each religion and deity the monsters each became associated with a specific culture or mythos. Some being pinnacles of their pantheon and others being lesser deities molded to suit a specific task. These monsters rarely interacted with ones of their own kind but as power shifted some of them took on roles of others. One monster could have been the god of war in Greek mythos but end up also as the god of thunder in Norse. There were no limitations to their influence. One such “deity” was that of the trickster. A monster that tended to be rather childish in his ambitions jumping from pantheon to pantheon looking to lighten up his other “deities” stern demeanors.
The monsters began to pull away leaving their presences in name only and occasional help but this was short lived. It caused problems, war, destruction, and feuding powers sadly began to use their civilizations as almost pawns. Their meddling almost destroyed that which they wanted to originally protect. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The “gods” faded from existence only being remembered in myths and legends. The great prophecy of the Norse. The architectural marvels of the Egyptians. Now they reside in the furthest reaches of the galaxy. They spread out among the stars but a group of them resided in a Capital of sorts. A station at the edge of the Universe. One which no human could ever reach.
Tumblr media
The Humans Impressions:
When the monsters left the humans to their own devices they worship continued long after. Eventually the magic and the miracles that had once been performed faded into history. The monsters were all but forgotten unless mentioned in mythology or scary stories. The humans never harbored any animosity toward them since they no longer believed in their existence in any form. They only understand what their ancestors depicted them as. The monsters as well don’t really have anything against humans either. All in all, they just go about their jobs and enjoy the universe, helping from time to time discreetly if need be but never showing their faces.
Tumblr media
Main Plot Synop:
The plot to Outertale is very simple as it is more based around the world than it is the actual plot. It is very similar to that of the regular UT timeline with some notable differences. Once the humans reach an age of technological advancement they begin to spread out and search the stars. Some of them encounter monsters which they mistake for aliens (hilarious enough. I mean Jerry looks like an alien.) They begin to build colonies living more and more outside the reach of their own galaxy. Humans however tend to turn on their own creating factions within the space colonies. Some more prosperous than others.
Frisk’s colony was one such beast being cut off from the other colonies as a drifter. Unfortunately Frisk’s family was nearly non existent and being stuck on a space colony was little to be desired. After seeing a streak of fire slamming into the outskirts of the colony. Frisk decides to investigate. They have always been the curious type disobeying orders and questioning everything. The colonies outer and more dangerous regions became their playground finding old pieces of technology. Eventually they stumble upon a crashed ship. One that  It seems to damaged to be used but it’s nothing like they have ever seen before. Everyone else on the colony consider it to be cursed.
Tumblr media
The strange runic language is confusing but Frisk finds that there is one lone computer onboard that seems to still function. It flickers with a bright yellow light showing an almost pixelated Flower with a =) face on the screen. Over the next few days Frisk returns to decipher the runes with the help of their new friend which they find out is called Flowey. It is a project that the curious human enjoys and for once it is nice to have a friend. Eventually the runes are deciphered claiming some sort teleportation capability. Once Frisk is close enough the system fires up on its own sending the human straight to the monster Capital on the farthest reaches of the universe. A place that no human has ever been.
The rest of the story is an exploration of this new environment. Frisk befriends the monsters who don’t attack first. They actually mostly want to engage with the human showing off their ability a little bit. A part of them misses the previous worship. Nova seems to take a particular interest in this new human especially when they befriend Azi. They work to help shut Flowey down only for Azi to impart his knowledge on the interface helping it understand. Frisk has nothing to return to so they stay with the monster and become Azi’s human tutor so that one day maybe the monsters can return and live side by side the humans once again. Both Azi and Frisk are almost like siblings coined the star children.

Give Me a Task to Do
Sally is busy.
She’s the leader of the Freedom Fighters, she has to be busy. She has to keep everyone in check, make sure their missions go smoothly, try to get everyone out alive. She has to get survivors to safe, hidden villages in the woods, she has to work all night on her programming, trying to figure out a way to hack Robotnik’s drones or to reverse the roboticization process. She has to keep the little ones from realizing how awful the world is while at the same time keeping them from running into battle headfirst.
Even in a small, secluded place like Knothole, she has work to do. She has to be contacting the other resistance bases, keeping an eye open for messages from hideaways. She has to repair houses, work on new weapons designs, check the tunnel system underground in case Robotnik finds them. She has to fix the walls Bunnie crashes down on accident, she has to pry Antoine off of the roof and convince him that the others were just trying to scare him and the floor is not lava. She has to help Rotor with his tinkering, update him on her findings and listen to his. She has to find a better landing place for Dulcy to prevent another roof from caving in, she has to read bedtime stories to Tails with a silly voice so he doesn’t think about what’s happening outside the forest. And, of course, she has to keep up with whatever problem Sonic has gotten himself into, catch up to him and drag him back down to reality. She has to send that message out to Lupe and hook Nicole up to the supercomputer to charge and try to decipher the jumbled code she thinks might be from her dad but could be another red herring, just like everything in the last ten years.
Sally doesn’t mind, though. She’s never liked to sit around and do nothing, not when there was work to be done, and there was always work somewhere. She hummed while fiddling with tech, and laughed while helping Rotor fix a shield. And, well... most of the resistance found missions into Robotnik’s territory to be tense, terrifying even, but Sally was never too afraid. She kept her mind in a sharp focus, her brain hardwired to pay attention to the mission, only to the mission, and think about the details later.
She doesn’t fear missions, no, and really, she doesn’t fear Robotnik, either. She knows getting caught by him would mean death, would devastate the rebellion, but honestly, it all seemed like a distant thought, the idea that she could be held captive. She’d always broken out or been rescued every time, before anything bad could happen, and no matter how many times Antoine warned her that one day they might not be able to reach her, no matter how many times Bunnie told her if she didn’t stay home she’d tie her to a chair, how many times Tails wandered into her hut at night to make sure she was still there, or how many times Sonic would hold her close after a rescue, nearly refusing to let go... it just never seemed like something she should be worried about. It had always worked out before, it would always work out in the end. She had to believe that, she guessed, otherwise she would’ve broken long ago.
What could break her was silence.
She was good at working. She was good at double-tasking, triple-tasking, doing whatever it took and doing it well. She could focus on anything, on several things at once, or at one thing so much that she blocked out the rest of the world. But if there was nothing? Nothing to do, nothing to fix, nothing to distract her...
I need a task to do, she’d often thought, upon waking up in the middle of the night. But this night, she couldn’t find anything. Nothing needed repaired, everyone else was sleeping soundly. There were no messages, no alerts, no robots hovering dangerously close to their location. She’d set up her computer to update its range overnight, so she couldn’t program with that. Rotor wouldn’t want her working on his stuff without him there.
She tried to go back to sleep, but she’d always been a bit of an insomniac, so just returning to a dream was a whole other challenge. She didn’t want to just lay in bed, alone with her thoughts, so she got up, going to a bench at the corner, looking through plans, re-sorting her books. She went outside and checked the garden, made sure there were no pests and that all the food was growing alright. She checked everyone’s huts, and checked the perimeter twice, and then sat by the extinguished campfire and stared at the stars.
She could catalogue the stars. She and Sonic had done that when they were seven, still too young to wander out of Knothole (not that it stopped them). They’d made star charts, maps, listed constellations and made their own. She looked up at the sky, but... ugh, too many clouds, it was hard to really even see them. Maybe it would rain, and she could collect water. Maybe she could fix their water purifier. Maybe she could upgrade something? Maybe...
Her foot kicked the ash surrounding their campfire spot. She had to think of something. She couldn’t just do nothing. She couldn’t do nothing. She’d been moving and working as long as she could remember, ever since she was six years old and watched her kingdom burn behind her. She always knew that she had to keep pressing on, keep her head high, and be the leader. If she didn’t look back, didn’t think back, she didn’t have to feel. Feelings got in the way of her work. That was why she had those flowers whose scents were supposed to ward away nightmares, why she only talked about the past in order to inspire the others, why she preferred working with machines- machines couldn’t hurt, machines couldn’t die.
Sometimes she wondered if that made her like Robotnik, to prefer technology to emotions. She would remind herself that no, she wasn’t trying to take over the planet, but oh how she could fall there, she could feel it. In another world, maybe she’d be like Robotnik, wanting to make everything metal and cold.
But that wasn’t this world, in this world she had to do right by her people. She’d had to take over her dying kingdom when she was six, and now she was sixteen, and she needed to do something before she drove herself mad.
Sally checked the garden again, and then the perimeter, and each hut. Nobody was in danger, nothing was broken, and there was no sounds at all. Just the occasional cricket in the distance, or the wind rustling through the leaves. It was a petrifying silence, and Sally did her best to keep it from breaking her. She ran her hands through her vest, swung from a tree branch, hummed to herself quietly enough that nobody would wake. But it felt like that quiet was pushing into her ears, trying to deafen her so that silence would be the only thing she could ever hear again. Whatever she did, she could still hear the silence, she could still feel the stillness, she could still feel.
I need a task to do.
SOMEONE give me a task to do.
I need a...
Sally sat once again by the campfire, curled in on herself, and cried.

Indian Magical School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Headcanon #1: The legends of it’s foundation
I love JKR and her magical world, but she completely ignored the South Asian region and a culture diverse as India, which could have been a great background for magical population. So I took the matters in my own hands and created some headcanons like I did previously with Mahoutokoro. Hope you will appreciate it.
The legend and the history of the school is so very overlapping that it is sometimes hard to distinguish between what is truth and what is myth. However the story goes something like this.
When the First Emperor of Aryavarta (Ancient India) Daksha was given the job to bring all earthly prosperity to the world, he was assisted by Seven Sages. These Seven Sages were the seven stars of the Great Dipper Constellations, who were called: Marichi, Atri, Angira, Pulascha, Pulaha, Kratu and Vashistha. To other Interpretation, these seven sages were called, Atri, Agasthya, Bharadvaja, Bhragu, Kashyapa, Jamdagni and Gautama. These Seven sages were wise and learned an knew many supernatural powers that governs the land of man without their common knowledge. Emperor Daksha wanted to control the seven sages and therefore made relations with them by marrying off his daughters with Bhragu, Kashyap and the sons of other sages: his demand was to have their power to his disposal only. The seven sages could do nothing, as in the Law of Dakshraj, harming or betraying the Kutumba (relatives and in-laws) were considered High Treason.
Tumblr media
But the sages being the wise and kind men they were wanted to spread the greater knowledge of supernatural powers to the common man in order to help them understand their infinite potential. So they started to sought resources from the sages who were considered “outcasts“ in Daksha’s rule for learning about the end of things (because Daksha wanted his kingdom to be eternal, these concepts were forbidden). One sage, named Dadhichi came to help the Saptarshi (the seven sages) and instructed them to journey southwards to the door of the Yama (the God of death). It was shocking enough for the sages, but one of the sage: Agasthya or in some other texts Marichi agreed to journey southwards. He bid his colleagues farewell and told them not to look for him and return to the capital; if their calling is true there would be a day they would meet again.
when the sages returned, they found themselves in a chaotic position. Daksha had insulted his youngest daughter and her husband in the front of the Royal Court and to protect her honour the youngest has self-immolated. The Husband of his youngest daughter was Shiva, the God of Destruction who was not worshipped or even mentioned in Daksha’s kingdom as something “unholy”. Although the sages did not mention Shiva in Daksha’s presence, but they knew that the Creation cannot last forever and to exist, it must always be destroyed and transformed. Thus when the sages could not convince Daksha to ask forgiveness from Shiva, they publicly renounced their special status and that of their being the Princes Consort and left the palace forever. Later Daksha was slain by the God of destruction Shiva in the crime of Pride and pushing his own flesh and blood to kill herself.
In the path away from the Capital, the Sage Agasthya appeared before the rest. The sages knew that it was not real Agasthya, but his astral projection. He did not speak but pointed towards the south, towards the deep forest surrounding a mountain that no human can cross. The sages understood that Agasthya had given his life to seek it. The sages, after thinking day and night, could think no other plan to reach the place, let alone establish a school there, because it was not ordinary mountain, but a Volcano. After great thinking, Bhragu, the master of Astrology came up with a plan and decided to summon Seven Celestial Planets and pray them to guide there. The Planets summoned were: Surya (sun), Soma (moon), Budha (Mercury), Shukra (venus), Mangal (Mars), Brihaspati (Jupiter) and Shani (Saturn).
The sages prayed for 14 lunar days and the Seven Celestial Planets were pleased with their dedication and each one promised one reward to the sages. The sages told them everything about their wish to build an establishment to teach sons of man about the infinite power of the universe, but they didn’t know how to go to the place Agasthya had instructed them to go.
After hearing everything the Sun said “I shall rise from the east, pure white on the blood smeared sky and my light shall point the way to the hallowed place.”
Then came Mars said “I shall follow the path of the sun and destroy every obstruction that stands on the way to put the standard of victory on the hallowed land I won in the name of the Sun”,
After Mars, the Moon said, “I shall call upon the sky, ask it to rain on the Volcano so that the lava solidified and creates ground for the building”,
after Moon Mercury said “I shall bring about such designs with my mind that no human has ever seen, A house that shall be marvelous and impenetrable to any ill-wisher”.
After Mercury, Venus says, “I shall give that design a habitable form, strengthen and beautify it with the igneous stones from this volcano”.
Then Jupiter said “Like my illusive body, I shall expand it to 1000 times greater, and bless it so that no occupant in this house ever experiences obstruction in learning and nourishment. And as the Eldest of the Planets, I name this house Vishakhtantra , a house where high magic spreads out like branches of holy banyan tree”
Tumblr media
when all of the planets were done doing their jobs, everyone looked at the dark figure that lurked at the background, with a smirk in his lips. The sages asked why the last one, Saturn did not come forward and requested him to contribute. Smiling he said “illusive planets and sages, you are all brilliant but you have done wrong.” It evoked fear amongst the sages because Saturn, the God of Justice and Time is elemental to any establishment and angering him could be catastrophic. Bhragu asked Saturn’s pardon and asked him to correct them. Saturn smiled and said, “The mistake, illusive sages, was committed when you called us. You have forgotten that we are Navagraha (Nine Celestial Planets), not Seven. You have chose to ignore two and I know why. You fear that the North and South Node might Eclipse the Sun and Moon and chose to ignore them. But you have forgotten, they too have purposes and are deserving of contribution.”
Tumblr media
This statement angered Sun and the Moon. The great luminaries decided to withdraw if Rahu (North node) and Ketu (South Node) joined, but Jupiter mediated amongst Saturn, Moon and Sun. Jupiter, the Eldest planet vowed to keep the mischievous side planets in check and implored Saturn to return. Saturn then called upon Rahu and Ketu, and a great bodiless head appeared through a storm.
Jupiter came forward and addressed Rahu and said “This hallowed house shall be the home of instruction, of sacred knowledge. We the planets and sages have summoned you to contribute and correct the unjust. Are you willing to help us?” Rahu being the cunning demon that he is, said “yes, upon one condition. I want the highest place amongst all. I am a headless body and my wishes are infinite. It is the only way I would help you all.”
Saturn knew this would happen, he smiled and said “it shall happen” to everyone’s great dismay. It hurt Sun’s pride greatly but knowing Saturn, no one could protest. Jupiter and Saturn then turned to the great headless snake that coiled the entire mountain. When Jupiter addressed it, it said “Greetings my elders, I am glad that my other body, Rahu had his position acquired. But I am most perplexed because I could feel all the pains of creatures, demonic and divine who have been displaced for the creation of this place. Their souls will not leave the place in peace.”
Saturn came forward and asked him, “oh headless body, the giver of results of past life, lord of the isolated, reside as the Vastu Naga and the Bhitti (Foundation) of the hallowed place. Upon your great coil shall the institution stand and the lives lost shall receive the result for their sacrifice.”
With the Ketu entering underground, the head of Rahu had to choice but to reside exactly at the opposite side of his other body. Saturn grabbed Rahu by the hair and said “Sun the the highest light, Jupiter is the Highest Wisdom and none in the universe, not even me can exceed their position in the universe. So reside at your highest place, on the topmost towering peak of this place. I forcibly command you so that you can eclipse every form of mal-spirit and power from above.”
With that done, Saturn returned to the final place and said “and I, Lord of limitation, time and justice, mark the boundary of this place and veil it with the Tamas, so it could be hidden from the common eye.”
The sages were eclectic after the creation. The eldest, Atri said, “heavenly presences, you are the influences that govern the actions, fates and deeds of the world, would you be so kind to reside in this place as guiding principles so that we the Acharya (teachers) and the shishya (pupils) shall prosper in their ways.” Saturn called upon the sages: “so it shall be Illusive sages but do not disregard the shadow planets, Rahu and Ketu, who represent the base and the peak of the house also have the right to represent: I deliver the choice to you.”
“Very well“, said Bhragu, master of Astrology: “Since the shadow planets are unstable on their own, I assign them to the Two Intellectuals: The Head Rahu with Mercury, and the Tail Ketu with Jupiter.“
Thus formed the Seven Sacred Houses of Sapta Kula of Vishakhtantra.
Uttarashada (Sun), Anantasoumya (Moon), Punarvasu (Jupiter and Ketu), Bhadrapada (Saturn), Yajurmitra (Venus), Ksharagam (Mars) Rahavyasa (Mercury and Rahu)

Witch Date Ideas for different Witches
Kitchen Witch
Go to a homey bakery and let them go on and on about all the ways to enchant blueberry muffins.
(NYC) Go to eataly and get some good ass pastries or prosciutto and other delicious dried cuts, just basically eat around Eataly or go to Dough.
(NYC) Explore supermarkets in places like china town, ktown, (eataly is great too) and get new foods or ingredients for them to try out at home.
(NYC) Load your pockets with dollars and take them to a street fair and try every food/snack stand they want.
(NYC) If they like beer take them to good beer and have one of the guys explain the different brews. If they like mead take them to Honies.
Green Witch
Go to a botanical garden and point to the prettiest flower and say “that’s you”
Start a date by giving them a bouquet with a special message by using the Victorian language of flowers, or your own correspondences
If living together, go to a local nursery and choose flowers to plant together at your home.
(NYC) Take them to Flower power and offer to get them a gift that they please.
(NYC) Also be their buffer to killing their wallet cause that’ll happen at flower power.
(NYC) Take them to any botanical garden. During the winter the Brooklyn one is free.
(NYC) Take them florist shopping.
(NYC) Take them to the Kava bar in the lower east side to feel great after drinking nonalcoholic kava cocktails.
(NYC) Get lost in the north woods in Central Park.
Hedge Witch
(NYC) take them to the beautiful greenwood cemetery.
(NYC) Buy them some skulls or antlers at Catland.
(NYC) Go ghost hunting in some spooky ass places like the abandoned homes of Govenors island or The Dakota building, but if it gets too spooky then have a picnic on the island or by Central Park instead!
Go pumpkin, apple, strawberry, or any fruit picking, then use the fruits/vegetables in cooking/baking.
Cosmic Witch
Take them star gazing and come up with stories about planets falling in love.
Take a car out to a quiet, rural place and stargaze. Watch from a blanket on the ground or the top of the car. If you want, you can take a telescope.
I’d suggest oddities since they sell meteorite and other spacely things though it could be costly there.
(NYC) Museum of natural history has a great space section and planetarium too.
(NYC) Stargazing in NYC might be tricky but if you go up to fort Tyron you might have a beautiful view nonetheless!
Sea Witch
Go to the beach and help them look for sea shells. Help them carry all the ocean water home.
(NYC) Take the Q35 from Flatbush Ave (last 2,5 stop) to fort Tilden. It’s the best beach since it’s the cleanest and hardly no one is there. It’s serene and you’ll find tons of shells.
(NYC) You can stay on the same bus as it will take you to Jacob Riis beach. I find the water there way less clean with tons of algae BUT the seashells there are phenomenal! Like as huge as ashtrays. So if it’s cold and you want to just go seashell hunting I’d vote for Jacob riis.
(NYC) Swimming is better for fort Tilden. If it’s too cold for the beach take them to a boutique called Oddities. They sell beautiful seashells and other incredible magical things in that shop.
(NYC) You can also take them to the museum of natural history and chill in that gorgeous aquatic room with the massive whale that every child feared would drop on their heads and crush them. It’s a beautiful space.
Lunar Witch
Bathe in the full moon together
Graveyard/Death Witch
Go to a local cemetery on a nice day and talk about all the headstones that speak to you.
Getting relationship advice from other spirits. Or traveling to graveyards To do exploring.
take them to the oldest cemetery in the area and do headstone rubbings together
Go people watching at a cemetery. You look out for the living ones and they’ll keep an eye on the dead ones
Take them to your local graveyard and let them tell you about what the ghosts of those who are long gone whisper to them.
Picnic next to a graveyard or a place that has a strong connection to spirits
Crystal Witch
Going to crystal stores and giving them rose quartz, because love.
Let them tell you about their own crystal collection as you browse your local geology museum/crystal shop. Ask them questions about their properties, and maybe even the chemical makeup if they have a scientific streak.
Go to a craft fair and buy a crystal/stone piece for your loved one.
Go to a gem mine to try and find some crystals, rocks, or gems
Energy Witch
(NYC) Get them a session at the Woom center. Take them to the tarot society to pet crystals. The tarot society and Earth Arts center also has soundbaths from time to time.
(NYC) Avoid Times Square at all costs especially if they are super empathetic.
(NYC) Design a candle together at Enchantments.
Storm Witch
If you live in the Midwest and don’t have a very strong sense of self preservation (like most of the locals), take them on a tornado chase with you and make out after you survive.
Just play in the rain with them.
invite them over when it’s raining to sit inside and listen to the pitter patter on the windows while you watch movies. Have rainboots and a coat ready if don’t want to watch a movie or want to do something fun afterwards.
Drag them into the rain and dance!
Desert Witch
Road trip to your nearest friendly neighborhood mesas/weird rock formations. Bonus if you listen to them talk about the area’s folklore
Divination Witch
Swap readings take them some where they can try new decks.
Space Witch
Go to the observatory.
Stare at the constellations
Enjoy a picnic under the stars
Fire Witch
Take them to a huge bonfire (possibly around Beltane) where you can talk and dance and everything, then take some ashes when you're done for different rituals!
(NYC) Sometimes flower power has an herbal smokes class you guys could sign up for. The people that work there would be happy to help you pick out herbs for your own herbal smoking blend! You can also go there to pick out ingredients for loose incense!
(NYC) Namaste on 14th also has an amazing selection of incense. You can buy them a cute and quirky candle at flying tiger or pick materials for candle making together at Michaels. In the summertime go to Roosevelt island and have a bonfire in one of the fire pit/grills.
Necromantic Witch
Take them to a graveyard.
Earth Witch
Start by leaving them a hand written letter to meet you somewhere. Have that somewhere be a beautiful hidden spot in the forest or anywhere that has to do with nature. Pack her favorite foods and bring her favorite book and take her on a forest picnic. Read to her (or have her read to you) as you just sit and enjoy each other’s company and Mother Earth around you.

Poetry and Story Night Performance: November
youtube
Talthorn moves across the floor with an undeniable grace in his footsteps, arm out to welcome the people that have gathered for the evening for the event.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Tonight I am blessed with the opportunity to come before you and deliver yet another performance in show and verse. It is my hope that it shall echo in your mind not only this night! But for many moons afterward so the loss of the Howling Owl's poetry night next month is not so despairing for you all." he holds a hand over his heart a moment trying to be strong for all of them!
"So please! Open your ears and your senses to my newest display! I call it!"
Tumblr media
He turns to weave his magic, draping a brilliant dark sky alive with heavenly bodies of stars and planets letting everyone feel as if they were gazing out onto the cosmos in a glorious illusion. "Ascension." The magi's voice is dramatic and full of energy while his hand finishes gliding for effect.
The magi allows the silence to take over the room for a few moments, before a soft bit of music and then a gentle rumble begins and echoes through the venue. The magi holds his hands behind his back and seems to be just admiring the view before him. Slowly he turns with a heartfelt expression to begin his verse, eyes still above and filled with an awe and wonder.
"Here we stand and look upon the gentle starlit sky. Are we to question who are, and always wonder why."
"The purpose we desire for, our perception is all we know. How do we fit in this grand design, Within life's elaborate show."
Talthorn swirls his digits in a graceful few circles to conjure up an illusion of a large standing mirror in silvers and blues, encrusted in runes and mystery. The image is hazed over for a moment, before the reflection of himself is seen. "Cast your gaze into the mirror, tell me what you see."
The magi places his hand on the glass and it flitters away so he is pressing his hand on a full scale image of himself in front of the crowd. "Hanging both in something and of nothing. Are you who you're meant to be?"
Tumblr media
He would look over his image and it mimicked his motions tipping his head one way and then the other while having an expectant expression for the illusion to speak for itself. It remains silent and it's lips remain motionless as the poem continues, but it shifts in versions of what the mage adorned in stages of his life. First in apprentice robes with glimmers of deep sapphire hair, then in regal attire echoing of a different age, shifting into the full mage attire careful observers would notice a Kirin Tor signet, and finally as he is now.
"What lifts you up, or holds you back is right there in front of you. You can nurture or you can change, anything inside you want to."
Tumblr media
Talthorn washes the illusion away with a swipe of his hand, and concentrates another weave to have people view vision made manifest of an enlarged globe and coordination of Azeroth itself! The magi's hands hovering over it as if to express how precious it should be. Slowly it would reflect images of Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Northrend, Pandaria, The Broken Isles.
He speaks with heart with another wave over this orb. "Look at the world right now, for it is in your hand." he moves to enclose both his hands in on the large globe, and bring it in to shrink in within them, shifting it to his right hand to raise for people to watch upon.
The magi has his view focused on what he holds. "Cherish what you love so dear, don't let it slip like sand. " As the orb would begin to start to shiver off granules, he grips it tighter to emphasize and it comes back together again. "Protect with all your will and might, what you cannot be without. Fight for what you believe in, so there is no room for doubt." His free hand forming a fist while his eyes glimmer of determination.
Tumblr media
"Discover the passions that burn in you, and allow yourself to feel. Connect, form bonds with those you trust, and you can make them real. Dance and sing and chant so loud, in whatever way you can! This form you have, will not be here long no matter what you plan. Scream, and shout and raise your voice open to the sky! On this realm or any other, learn what it means to fly. "
Talthorn gazes over the crowd, speaking his full verse to these people with such feeling. His hand poised out and scanning over them all as he makes some of the audience members begin to glimmer among others. As if to symbolize an ascension, a magical illusion would produce a heavenly looking orb before those glittering members and began to float toward the stage with the other stars.
Tumblr media
His own heavenly body would continue to pulse and resonate words, seeming more warm than ever before. "The time will come, and all too soon. Our names will fall away. So do not regret in the now, embrace your everyday. Make your mark in your own world, have your stars align! We'll take our place among eternity and find the best place to shine."
As the stars move in a dance with each other for a short period of time, they descend into the waiting night shimmering sky where those planets and nebulas and more glimmer awaits! Settling into their constellations, glowing once before highlighting their place in Talthorn's majestic cosmos tapestry. Stepping out of illusion, the magi flashes a dashing smile to the crowd with both of his arms moving outward so he may pose proudly, before taking a flair of a bow at the end to signal his finish.
(( Script and screenshots of last night’s Howling Owl’s Story and Poetry night event! Truly a magical night for Talthorn to showcase another one of his verse and display. Thank you for those that were able to be a part of it, and for those that missed you enjoyed the experience here.
Huge appreciation for @konietzko-lumenstone for all these glorious screenshots! I never can take any for my own performances.
We’ll see you all again in January! ))

@anidalaweek Day 3 - May 6th: Mythology OR Fairy Tales
I wrote a fan fic back in 2010 called Legend of the Hidden Temple.
         Summary:
While on a trip Padmé tells her family an ancient legend from the scrolls of Naboo. I was inspired by a prompt about legends and my love for Naboo. Characters: Padmé, Anakin, Luke, Leia, and mythological OCs from Naboo.
I always wanted to do a drawing based on my fic and luckily it fit with today’s theme. The artwork is a mix of media.  Anakin, Padmé, Leia and Luke are drawn with marker and pencil on bristol vellum. Everything else I used scrapbooking materials. The mythical Naboo drawings and the ivy plants are pencil on Post-It card stock paper. The shuura fruit tree is a collage of designer card stock and flower appliqués.
Then everything was collaged together.
You can read the fic at AO3 or FF.net. or under the cut.
"Are we there yet?" Luke sighed.
"Be patient Luke, we are not that far away," Padmé told him. "Look there," she pointed, "we can see it now." Padmé, her children and her husband walked the shrouded path hand in hand.
"Why is it called the Temple of Terra, Mommy?" Leia asked.
"It was built to honor the Goddess Terra."
As they entered the temple Padmé heard her children and even Anakin gasp. It was an ancient, large, octagonal structure built out of rock. Each wall told the story through relief carvings adorned with jewels. Ivy plants curled up the walls and up through the opening of the domed ceiling. The sun shone through and reflected off the jewels casting light beams all around.
"It's beautiful," Leia beamed.
Anakin whistled. "Impressive. How long ago was this built?"
"About a few millennia. Give or take a century or two." Padmé answered. "The Holy Order works to preserve the structure. Sometimes stones and jewels have to be replaced and the crevices of the carvings need to be cleaned yearly."
Luke let go of his father's hand and ran to the wall. He looked up at the carving of a god offering a goddess a piece of shiny, golden fruit. "What's the story?"
Padmé guided her son to the opposite wall. "The story starts here." She pointed up to the highest relief that showed the image of a goddess with her son. "She is the Goddess of All, Své. Her son is the God of the Sky, Taevas. He rules over the stars, the planets, and the moons."
Anakin took Leia in his arms and moved to stand next to Padmé. They all looked up, squinting and shielding their eyes from the glow of the sun and the jewels' reflecting light. Padmé pointed to the story below the top most relief. The goddess was shown meditating. "Své foresaw that a group of humans, forced to leave their planet, were going to roam the galaxy seeking refuge. She would give them the planet of Naboo to make their home, but first it had to be prepared. She gave that task to her son, Taevas, and the Goddess of Water, Ilma.
"You see Naboo was once covered completely in water -"
Luke looked up at his mother in awe. "The entire planet was covered in water? Like Kamino?"
"Yes, only it didn't rain all the time. The Gungans lived in cities deep below the surface. Ilma, with the Gungans' permission, separated the waters to reveal lands the humans could inhabit. Taevas created the moons to circle Naboo to keep a pull on the waters."
"The moons control the tides," Leia said.
"That's right."
Leia pointed to the next one. The people were not adorned with jewels but had a dusty copper finish. 'What's happening there? They're not shiny like the rest. Are those the refugees?"
"Yes. When the refugees arrived they were relieved to find a place to make their new home but their happiness was short lived. The land was barren. All the sea plants left behind could not thrive out of water. They dried and withered in the sun. Any plants they brought with them from their previous home could not grow under Naboo's climate.
"But there was one woman, Terra, who insisted they stay. She found a single sea plant barely alive. She nurtured it and it learned to adapt. It grew into a whole garden. The refugees could now stay on Naboo and survive."
They now all looked at the relief at eye level. Terra was covered in rainbow colored jewels that resembled flowers. "Své was so impressed with Terra's strength, persistence and gift with growing life she made her into an immortal. She became the Goddess of Flora. Terra left her family and embraced her new role, promising her people they would never go hungry."
Padmé guided them to the next wall and again they looked up, shielding the blinding light from their eyes. "Terra was introduced into the Eternal Land. Now Taevas, do you remember who he is?"
The twins did, "The God of the Sky."
"Yes, Taevas upon seeing Terra for the first time fell madly in love with her." They looked at Taevas' image jeweled in colors of adoration and affection.
"Quite a pair, heaven and earth," Anakin said softly.
"They are, but first he had to win her heart." Padmé pointed further down, "Taevas gave Terra a gift. He moved stars around to create a constellation as a gift to her. During the winter months you can see that constellation in the sky. That is why they built the dome with an opening, so you can see it when you stand in this spot."
"Did it work?" Luke asked.
"Terra was flattered but told him the stars were not hers to own. Taevas walked away disappointed but determined to win her love. He knew she was right; the stars were not hers to own. After all he was the God of the Sky, she was the Goddess of Flora. Then he got an idea."
Padmé stepped over to the next wall and her family followed her. The relief showed a storm of golden jewels streaking through the heavens crashing onto Naboo, commanded by Taevas' will. "When he came back he told Terra he had something to show her. He called the comets to rain on Naboo. The stardust mixed with the soil. Then he commanded it to rain. Out of the earth sprouted a tree."
Anakin and the twins followed Padmé to the next wall, the one Luke had mistaken as the first relief. Padmé continued, "From the tree grew shuura fruit. Terra accepted the gift, for it was made from both the sky and the ground, and she had fallen in love with Taevas."
Padmé picked Luke up in her arms and looked at all three of them. "You all should see the garden. It's unlike anything you have ever seen because it is the ground where Terra grew that first plant."
They walked out of the temple through the back exit and into the Garden of Terra, where life flourished with hundreds of different plants, flowers and fruits of all colors, sizes and heights.
Leia and Luke urged to be put down and ran through the path. Anakin took Padmé's hand and they slowly strolled behind their children. They would soon catch up. Upon passing a tree, Anakin picked off two shuuras. He offered one to Padmé. She smiled and blushed as she took a bite.

One Small Step
Hello @trash-aged-like-fine-wine! I am your Holiday Truce gifter! And I am so, so sorry for the wait! I’ve wanted to write for @ghostfiish‘s Space AU for a good long while, so I was very excited when you sent me the Space AU prompt! I hope your holidays were good, and I hope this was worth the wait!

Danny remembers learning about space.
He remembers laying down on his back and gazing up at the stars projected on his ceiling and walls, dreaming of soaring among them.
He remembers his mother holding him close, telling him the stories of the constellations - of Asiris, the great teacher who taught his people how to fly, and of Halphoruns, the hero who stole a piece of the heavens above to bless them with the ability to experience the tranquility and wonder of space directly - a gift, his mother had said, that felt like the freedom of the infinite and the safety of the womb.
He remembers his father flying with him to the uppermost outskirts of the city - where the trees were tall and the foliage was thick and the floating islands were small, tethered to the trees where their roots met the vines that crisscrossed the canopy. His father would bring him to the largest of those islands - barely an acre of grass and dirt, but a whole planet to run and play through to his young eyes. And as their star set and the moons and the stars beyond made themselves known, he would lay next to his father, who would point to the spots of light peppering the night sky and tell him about the wonders and marvels and sheer plethora of life that lit the night, so far away, yet so close he could almost touch it when his father spoke.
Space was a garden, he remembers learning. Teeming with life, every pinprick of light and every swath of darkness vast with possibilities, and every living being tending to that garden. His people held space at the core of their being - they were a part of the universe and the universe in turn was a part of them, their heaviest of atoms forged in the hearts of stars that had died long ago, and yet lived through them. His memories of his first home are inseparable from his first impressions of space.
But Danny’s first memories of space itself don’t count.
They are memories of the world tearing itself apart. The ground beneath him cracking and shattering, its upheaval screeching and roaring as though the planet itself were screaming.
They are memories of fleeing and terror and flying further and faster and higher than he’d ever been allowed to - not because he could, but because he had no choice, because people were dying and the world was ending and the only safety was space.
They are memories of space itself holding no comfort - not when he could hear the cries of his people echoing across his mind; not when he could feel the heat of the core of his home spilling out from itself, exploding from the cracks and searing the universe with bright green-white light he couldn’t bear to look at even from the island he had hidden behind; not when the stars, which had seemed so close not so long ago, only a step away, suddenly felt very, very far.
They are memories of a world - his home - the only place he’d ever known - being ripped apart, piece by piece, molecule by molecule, in violent convulsions that destroyed his planet and his people and his culture and left him screaming in the aftermath - screaming along with his people and his planet, screaming and screaming and screaming until he was the only one left to scream.
In those hours before the Fentons found him, he learned the horror of the death of his world; the loneliness of his people’s screams dwindling until he could only feel his own; the terror of realizing he was truly alone in the vastness of space, that he could not do anything to save himself, that no one was coming for him, that he was destined to die alone.
This was not freedom, or safety, or life. This was not space.
This does not deserve to be remembered as space.
So Danny doesn’t. He locks it away in a box called The Incident, and he tries not to think about it. It’s over. It’s done. There’s nothing he can do.
And if he holds a little too tightly to the armrests when turbulence jolts the transport pod as it roughly shoves against the atmosphere, well, no one likes transport pod travel, so it’s not like he’s the only one.
And if he wakes from a nightmare with tears in his eyes, holding back a scream that could shake the barracks....
Well.
He knows how to blot his eyes so the unshed tears don’t ruin the make up hiding the green of his skin. And he knows how to sneak soundlessly to the galley to grab some tea. The scent - chamomile and jasmine - puts him at ease, puts him just a step away from his first home. And the view from the window is stunning. If he leans at just the right angle, he can see the constellation where his home used to be. It quells the yearning ache in his heart, at least a little bit, to know the light of his home still shines upon him.
This, he thinks. This is space.
Not The Incident.
Never The Incident.
***
Danny stands at the heart of the airlock. The artificial gravity unnerves him, so he ignores it - takes a breath and reaches for his core, for the small piece of space he holds in his heart, and floats for the first time since joining the space corps. Harder to ignore are the calls from his crew - the pleading yips from Cujo, the angry shouts from Sam, the worried cries from Kwan. Danny can’t face them right now - if he does, he’s afraid he might go back.
And for the sake of them all, there can be no turning back.
Tucker is busy fixing the computer controlling oxygen storage and circulation from the asteroid strike - otherwise he’d be just outside the airlock, too, telling him what a dumbass he is - but Danny knows that even with all their help from the inside, they don’t have enough time. Not when Danny could see the leak from the portal outside the command center, opposite from the only working airlock left on the ship.
After a quick diagnostics, Danny had dashed from the room, nearly flying down the corridors to reach the airlock, his crewmates’ cries for him to stop, to think things through, to remember they didn’t have any working helmets echoing behind him. He had managed to shut the airlock and manually lock it behind him before his crewmates could follow him in.
He shifts the space in his core and floats to the airlock controls - a separate system from the life system controls, thank goodness, or else Tucker would have interfered - and sets the airlock to vent. It takes about 30 seconds, and he counts every single one of them, only just remembering to remove his contacts before the lenses can warp and scratch his eyes.
The hiss of the airlock dies, and the sound of his crewmates dies with it as the last of the air empties from the small space. Danny is tempted to look back, to make sure they’re still there, but he’s afraid of what he might see. Any chance of pretending to be human is gone. His makeup and hair dye may cover him, but the facade is shattered, disintegrated and swept away like so many air molecules scattered into the vacuum of space.
Danny floats down to the outer door of the airlock and grabs the manual override keeping the door shut. With the strength of two humans, he forces the lock open, straining against both the physical system in place and the vacuum of space it’s designed to guard against. It takes him 42 seconds, and he counts every one of them, as well - every second another spurt of precious oxygen lost to the void.
But finally, with one last strain and a click, the door opens. Danny is, for the first time since The Incident, completely exposed to the vacuum of space.
He feels the air in his lungs pressing for release, and he lets it go, feeling rather than hearing the whisper as it escapes through his mouth and nose. He can’t help it as he floats to the edge of the airlock, his feet alighting on smooth metal. He can’t help but stare at the vastness of space, unfiltered by a helmet full of air - at the pinpricks of light and swatches of blackness, all of it teeming with just as much life as his father had said there was, so many years ago, he knows. His gaze sweeps from the constellation that holds Earth, his second home - up to the cluster of galaxies that hold Florana - across to the light of his first home, a physical remnant of the memory of his people, crying out into the void that they were there once, that they existed, that they lived on through the light that passed and through their only surviving son.
This, he thinks. This is space.
He blinks back tears. Remembers his mission. He does not know how many seconds have passed, but he is certain he’s spent enough time remembering his people. There will be time for that later - for now, he has to plot the most efficient path to the oxygen leak. For now, he has to save his crewmates - his friends - his family.
He turns his head from his first home, casting his gaze along the side of the ship, preparing himself to fly through space for the first time.
One small step for a man...
He leaps.

🖊 + my boy wolfie
Wolfie had non-synthetic coffee one time and immediately spit it out He’s kind of garbagecore.
Wolfie's the only protagonist to have killed someone of their own volition before the story starts, by pure accident. He did put up a "warning: mines" sign outside his scrapyard. And yes, falling debris does set those off from time to time and he needs to go out and replace them.
As for why so much space debris lands on his planet specifically: it's on purpose, people in the landfill areas either shoot their trash in the direction of inhabited planets on purpose or people on the nearby satellites catch it and bring it down. Wolfsige is correct to live many miles underground!
He has never dated and lists his preferences as "undecided", which is something you can do in the future. If he ever had the time to think about it he'd probably be more interested in men, but you can make his orientation whatever in your mind and I'd say it makes sense.
He lives in the constellation he's named after! His planet's designation is Canis D, so the fourth planet in the Canis system. Most Wolfsige constellation stars have canine or wolf themed names. As for the planet's colloquial name, with a scattered population of ~3,000 it never warranted one.
He's nearly been arrested a couple of times for something illegal that fell in his backyard. Most of it he turned over, but not before taking his own notes if it was anything mechanical.
