bf!shisui who can read you like a book, perseptive to the point you wondered—one more than one occasion—if he can somehow read your mind. you can't hide anything from him. who's incredibly attentive, notices the smallest things like if you have a new favorite food, or if you got a new pair of sandals. it comes to a point where it feels like he knows you better than you know yourself.

bf!shisui who confides in you about a lot of things, but never about the situation regarding his clan and the brewing coup de'etat. he can't bring himself to do because he knows you'll worry, knows that you'll try and get involved for the sake of his safety. who refuses to put you in harm's way.

bf!shisui who starts to distance hisself towards the end of his life. who knows that he doesn't have the willpower to go through what must be done if you try and talk him out of it. as much as he loves you, he has to do it. for the sake of the village and for the people who he holds dear to his heart.

bf!shisui who—after giving itachi his right eye—asks him to send you one last message and handing him a small box before falling to his death. who's thoughts are filled with your smile and laugh and his favorite moments with you playing like a slideshow in his mind.

bf!shisui who leaves behind small trinkets in the box, things that remind you of your time together over the years which itachi gives you in the days after his death.

bf!shisui who's guilt is palpable on the pages of the letter he wrote for you before he died as he apologizes for leaving you behind. who hopes to find you again in another life and thanks you for being with him when he was still alive.

thissssss. That whole joke was really annoying. I think about Rome a lot, and I am not a cis man (or obsessed with war/politics/imperialism). I just genuinely feel more drawn to the Roman adaptations of many Hellenic deities and traditions (feel free to correct me, I do not know much and do not follow Helpol).

anyways tl;dr on that last post it’s like we’ve reached a point where in popular culture the ancient Greeks are remembered for their mythology and literature (and maybe Athenian democracy) while the Romans are remembered for their patriarchal imperialism, despite the fact that both cultures did plenty of both. and the consequence is that we’ve ended up with a bizarre quasi-gender binary where Greek stuff is for people who like mythology and literature and Roman stuff is for people who like patriarchal imperialism

vel clearly being anxious and waiting and needing cinta to be the first one to make the move -> very much to me would be a mirror of the first time they did this, in accordance with faye's answer to that one question of who'd admit their feelings first (i could make a whole other post about this aspect of it. it may or may not be already written?)

cinta maybe still worried and taking it slow but vel leaning in to give permission even though she's not going to go first

cinta finally going for it and vel's hand immediately going to her face as well

a kiss! a brief break away. another kiss! all soft and careful and devastating to me personally. like how are they able to fit this much yearning into an actual kiss

after another tiny break they're all in on the third one. vel opens her eyes for the tiniest peek to check and then fully pulls cinta in closer to her like she's been starving for years. oh wait, she has!

cinta finally pulling back again but the forehead connection remains and the hand stays on vel's face, she is not letting her get away!!! and vel is still hungry lol but cinta.....cinta smiles through all the heavy feelings and just rubs her thumb along vel's cheek and for one absolutely perfect moment in time, everything is exactly how it should be

and nothing bad happened to them ever again yaaaayyyy!!!!

Chat, I'm turning 17 this August. I know nothing about surviving on the streets all alone, I don't know how I'm supposed to find a job by myself without even having finished highschool yet (let alone in this economy with its low paying jobs and high ass prices for a single apartment), and I haven't saved up enough money for an occasion like this because honestly, why should I? Depends on the season... If the humidity and temperature is too high it goes into the fridge to prevent mold, otherwise it can stay on the counter. Rarely goes into freezer cause it'll be finished quite quickly.

Bread could get soggy if the air in the bag/container is way too moist and condenses in the fridge!

Inspired to draw that scene from Team StarKid's Cinderella's Castle. (+a surprise Sir Hop-A-Lot and Crumb under the cut.)

The lighting on that set then (bright green with deep blue on the side) was so good that I had a strong impulse to just try and capture how I was envisioning the scene playing out in an illustrated fairytale-esque forest-scape-y thingy.

I really want to draw a Cinderella moment next - so hard to pick a specific scene!! I'll be thinking about it as I catch up on work rn. Hopefully I can get to it some time tonight. I did do a quick sketch of Rancilda that I'll post soon though!

Primal Fears AU content but don’t worry it’s still sonadow

That last one is a repost from last year so if you saw the silly drawings but then read the thing in the bottom left corner and went “wait what the fuck”

It’s because it was an AU thing but I literally only had that drawn out and now you get some context at least:

In this universe Sonic is an assassin/bounty hunter/whatever you wanna call a guy that is hired to specifically to kill other Entities. He meets Shadow when they run into each other because they’re both following the same Avatar. Then they do the normal canon sonadow thing where the first interaction they have always ends with them fighting and beating the shit out of each other. And then they kinda calm down but then Shadow has a similar moment from the beginning of the IDW Sonic comics where he gets absolutely pissed that Sonic managed to distract him from catching the bad guy and zooms away before the two have another chance to speak again.

Here Shadow is a GUN field agent except in this universe GUN isn’t really military and it’s more focused on not only investigating (like the Magnus Institute) but also actively dealing with the Entities. Which sounds great except remember how I said they aren’t military well actually they kinda are because “dealing” with Entities and Avatars just means: throw it in the high-security prison that is guarded by other various Avarars that all work for GUN because it means they don’t have to get thrown in prison. So GUN is kinda like The Magnus Institute + Section 31 working together. So actually I guess it’s like the SCP Foundation.

One day Shadow goes into work and Sonic and there and I’m not really sure on what I’m gonna do in the plot to make him end up there (like maybe he’s undercover and just using GUN to get to his next target or maybe GUN does the “hey we’re gonna throw you in jail if you don’t agree to work for us” idk again not sure yet) but now he’s working with Shadow because they still need to catch that Avatar.

So now we’re sorta caught up, they’re at Club Rouge (and I realized I didn’t specify which Entity she serves in my drawing of her but people who guessed the Stranger ding ding ding here have some sonadow) because Sonic and Shadow need to kinda interrogate Surge and Amy, who are associated with the Slaughter. They have a band called Poison Rose and it’s basically just Grifter’s Bone but they perform rock music instead. And are also probably dating.

Anyway the Big Case™️ Sonic and Shadow are working on is investigating a bunch of spooky murders and they’re pretty sure whoever’s behind them is a Slaughter avatar. But not specifically Amy and Surge☝️ They’re kinda “allowed” to perform the Music That Makes You Die because GUN also has like an “informant” group of avatars they can rely on. These avatars don’t work for GUN, but they agree to chill out on the spooky stuff if it means they don’t get arrested for spooky crimes. So for Poison Rose, “chilling out” on the spooky stuff means that they have to force people to wear earplugs while they perform, which wasn’t specifically stated in MAG 42 if that works or not, not really sure of the magic rules of the Music That Makes You Die phenomena but yeah they gotta do that and probably some other stuff so GUN doesn’t arrest them. Like maybe no swearing or something lol.

Okay gonna stop there before this gets even longer explaining my AU because this was supposed to be just a normal sketch post but whoops.

Oh also I made a playlist for the kind of music Poison Rose performs but it was made private because I didn’t want anyone to stumble across it and be like “pshhhh this dumb person who makes public playlists of their AU that no one knows about what a loser” (me when I make up completely unrealistic scenarios in my head) but now here’s a post explaining that part of my AU so that person can’t make fun of me anymore
