you slowly began to get sleepy even though the music was loud enough to keep you awake. you laid down, curling into a ball. drifting into dreamland.

when you woke up next, you shuffled around. something was different. what you were laying on was softer yet firmer. it all made sense when you heard hyunjin's voice above you. no, he wasn't talking to you. he was discussing something- their positions or where they were to walk around on stage to changbin. a few minutes passed and you heard the door close. was practice done?! no unfortunately.

Politeness and Jujutsu Kaisen

There are SO MANYYYY linguistical aspects of jjk that do not translate over to english sub/dub that I think really adds to the story and characters. So, in this post I will go over a few of them that I think any jjk fan should really know about!

Gojo's personal pronoun: Gojo always used the informal masculine pronoun "ore" to say "I" in japanese, he even used it towards people in higher positions as well- basically he wasn't very respectful. but theres a scene where geto explicitly tells gojo that he should change his pronoun to "watashi" (most formal) or atleast "boku" (formal masculine). after that, the japanese-speaking audience knows that gojo took what geto said to heart as gojo then changes his pronoun from "ore" to "boku", now only using "ore" when needed.

Utahime telling Gojo to speak formally: in the famous "you crying?" scene Utahime scolds him by telling him to speak formally. in a language like japanese, there are informal and formal ways to speak to different people. since utahime is older than gojo (and a senpai) he should be speaking formally to her. geto does speak formally to her but joins in on gojo's antics which is why when shoko shows up speaking formally and calling her "utahime senpai" utahime absolutely adores shoko.

Megumi's formal speech vs Itadori & Nobara's: itadori, nobara, and pretty much all the jjk students dont speak formally to gojo even though he should be a respected teacher/adult (pls don't speak informally to a teacher irl). on the other hand, megumi keeps formalities with everyone he's supposed to (strangers, his senpais, AND gojo). i know it's common in the fandom to talk about how "gojo raised megumi" etc but as far as im aware it's been confirmed that gojo would only check in on megumi every now and then. the fact that megumi keeps a very professional and formal speaking level with gojo only further proves it as well as showing what megumi is like as a character on a deeper level.

of course as always, theres definitely more examples and more things to dig deeper into but these examples are just the ones that i can think of at the moment! if anybody would like more jjk analysis just send an ask! also, please let me know if theres any mistakes/inaccuracies as its been a while since i've actually watched jjk and i wrote this very quickly.

We are about a million hours into the challenge and everyone is doing good so far, or that's atleast what they're trying to show. I'm also trying to act off as if I'm not tired by moving around and talking alot. Right now I'm currently eating hot fries while swinging from side to side in my chair. We just finished doing lights off and during lights off I felt like I was losing it mostly when tanner danced as a floating shirt and having nick get mad at us for not being able to be quiet for 5 mins (I was the main person being loud)

"tanner are u still there?" Isaac asks since tanners been quiet, "yea I'm still here, I'm watching the Simpsons look!" Tanner says as he shows us his phone where he was literally watching the Simpsons on Twitter. "Nick?" Isaac moves on to asking Nick since he looks a little too asleep. "Mmm" nick responds to Isaac since he's too sleepy to even respond correctly. "Bro ur barely awake" Isaac tells Nick since he can practically see Nick having on from just a thread, "no I'm just keeping my eyes closed, I'm listening to y'all's conversation.." nick says with his eyes still closed, "bro your actually kidding there's no way your getting sleepy this early its ridiculous" I say to nick cause honestly it is outrageous, "im not sleepy im just bored since im sitting here doing nothing and im fucking cold!" Nick says slightly irritated for being accused of sleeping.

A little bit of time goes by, I'm watching YouTube videos to keep myself entertained, everyone else is talking to each other about God knows what then grunk makes a statement on how Nick looks like Eminem so I take a look at my discord and see Nick with his head down with his hood on. Everyone starts making comments on how he's asleep, then we all turn silent and start whispering to see if Nick responds then suddenly we hear him snoring and all of us practically freak out quietly. "Nick if you don't respond in 10 seconds then I'll remove you for falling asleep first 4 times in a row" Isaac says while whispering. "This is embarrassing" I say very quietly.

Isaac then removes nick from the call and all of us were honestly shocked for Nick to fall asleep and get eliminated that early. "Did anyone's else's heart rate like start going up cause mine did" Larry says equally as shocked as everyone, "dude there's actually no way he got out this early, he actually wanted to stay for a long time bro I feel bad" I say since Nick was talking non stop how this year was his year. "That's a new record" tanner says while laughing, "Isaac you have to make the tweet, one down" Larry tells Isaac with tanner still laughing in the back. "He really didn't want to get out yet" yumi says while still shocked, "yea he didn't even get to play lethal company with us" yumi says. Then Larry and Yumi start acting like Nick when he said he wasn't asleep. "He's going to be so mad" I say already knowing how Nick is, "he's probably still asleep bro" grunk says. Nick then joins the call again seeming a little more awake, "hey man wassup" grunk says to nick, then Nick starts talking about how he just had his head down. "Dude you were just sleeping and snoring away" I say and tanner laughs, "you did this to yourself, why'd you do this to yourself, you chose the most comfortable position to sleep in". "You get in the most coziest spots". "Why do you get in the most coziest spots like come on", me, tanner, and grunk start shaming on Nick for practically self sabotaging himself. Nick then says his final goodbyes before leaving the call to sleep while we still have to stay for $50,000.

GRUNK'S ELIMINATION:

I don't even know how long we've been awake and I don't even remember how long ago yesterday was. After Nick left we had some surprising guests like Santa (who said I was on the naughty list for always being loud and screaming at the boys), and Nick also joined back to the call for a little bit, which we terrorized him for eating almost a dozen donuts. We are doing lights off right now and Larry has a special challenge for us called the black market challenge that he had planned since last year. For the black market challenge we had to listen to men whimpering for SIX WHOLE MINUTES. "That was like cross my heart and hope to die send me to hell now God challenge!" Yumi says after being fully annoyed by the whimper audio, "I'm never participating in the black market challenge ever again" I say after being traumatized, "I'm not gonna lie but that did not feel like 6 minutes, that felt like an hour" tanner says while laughing.

"well I'm going to bed dude, I have to prepare for exams tomorrow" grunk says while sounding sleepy and also a little bit sad. "That's a very mature thing to do grunk, I'm proud of you" I say so grunk doesn't feel fully disappointed in himself for giving up on $50k. Larry then makes a statement on how grunk was a good soldier while Yumi flashbangs himself multiple times while smiling like an insane person. Grunk then explains how he knew he wouldn't have been able to win after hearing Yumi being fully committed to the challenge. "You know what this as a message for everyone to never let a last to leave vc ruin your college" everyone laughs at what I said. "Yes, yes I know but next year imma clear my schedule" grunk says. Everyone says their goodbyes to grunk as he fist bumps his camera and leaves.

"this call looks empty dude" Yumi says as now seeing how far he came, "I'm watching AI Santa clause" tanner says out of the blue "what???" I say while laughing. "Dude I feel bad, ISAAC WHAT THE HELL!" I scream at Isaac, "what did I do?!!" Isaac replies back confused, "I don't know I just need to argue to keep me awake" I say while talking in a much lower and calmer way. "Now I see why you got put on the naughty list" yumi says, I then look at the camera shocked and jokingly hurt, "alright you know what then I'm gonna leave the call" I say while closing my eyes to make it more believable that I'm going to quit, "NO ACTUALLY DONT!" Yumi screams at me to "wake" me up, "yeah that's what I thought keep that same energy" I say and I go back to my phone while Isaac laughs.

TANNER'S ELIMINATION:

I didn't even bother to keep track of time anymore, at this point I'm army crawling my way to stay awake. Yumi is talking to me but I'm mostly responding to him in a mumbling way or in a short way. Larry takes notice that I'm getting sleepy so he also starts talking to me while trying to make me laugh but as Larry tries talking to me, Yumi ends up being the one responding to Larry while I just zone out and contemplate life. I soon see tanner walk off somewhere to the right but I don't think much of it cause of all people, he's the main one that keeps moving around. "y/n, you good?" Isaac asks me as he sees me being quiet, "I'm straight, I'm Gucci, I'm pure, I'm at my finest right now, if you ask me how good I am right now id tell you I'm good" I say rambling and mumbling on words, "what?!?!" Larry says while laughing at how drained I am right now. "Y/n you can not fall asleep right now! I'm not ready! I'm not there yet!" Yumi yells at me knowing that if I fall asleep then he's gonna want to leave the call. "Woah who said I was falling asleep, did u not just hear how fucking fresh I am right now" I say no longer mumbling, "where's tanner?" Isaac asks, "I think he went to the bathroom I don't know" Larry answers Isaac's question and we continue talking about how Isaac's dad was practically giving us a little nap break, "no cause I remember when I got eliminated the first time, I was going to play it off as a joke" Larry says while trying to keep himself awake, "dude I remember that, I felt so bad but it was so funny" I say while laughing a little. "It's like when you're in class and your feet fall" Yumi says as he acts as if he fell over but got woken up in class, "exactly like that then you gotta check to see what everyone else is doing and they're all reading" I say while laughing starting to get a little more energized. "Is tanner still in the bathroom?" Isaac asks but no one really answers him but instead Yumi makes a new conversation about his PC being bipolar or something.

We then all hear a phone ring and we go quiet, "who are you calling?" I asked the question that Larry and Yumi wanted to ask, "are y'all 100% sure that tanners in the bathroom?" Isaac asks while being a little bit suspicious. "I heard him say he was going to the bathroom". "I didn't hear him say he was going to the bathroom" Yumi and Larry say almost at the same time, "when tanner says he's going to the bathroom, we don't know" laughing a little Knowing that tanner would do something dumb like that. "Imma head downstairs to get a bowl of cereal, you want me to check in tanners room?" I ask Isaac, "yea can you do that please thank you" Isaac responds to me and I head out of my room. I walk into tanners room and although it's dark I can still see the big dark figure laying on tanners bed that so happens to be tanner himself, I let out a quiet giggle and I walk over to his PC. I bring his mic close to my mouth "he's laying on his bed playing angry birds" I say very quietly and I let out a breathy laugh, I then go to tanners bed and I take a picture, after the picture I take his phone and show Yumi and tanner that I have his phone, "he's knocked out cold, he's dead asleep, he's out dude" I say before having tanner leave the call.

I got my bowl of cereal and I walked back into my room to still hear Yumi, Larry, and Isaac talking about tanners elimination, "wait y/n did you take a picture?" Isaac asks me, "oh yeah let me send it to y'all" I say while laughing a little while still remembering how tanner looked while asleep. "No yea I walk in there and he's fucking asleep, I didn't get a good picture of it tho but he only has 2 stars on every level" I say to the people that are still left in the call, "wait what I thought you get 3 stars automatically if you complete the level" Yumi says a little shocked on how much of a noob tanner is at angry birds. "Alright new challenge y/n, we listen to lullaby music while watching the herds till we fall asleep" Larry says while chuckling, "we get tucked in, a binky, and a warm glass of milk" Yumi butts in, "alright I'm down" I say while being sleep deprived.

Oh you're not gonna get the 50k to help you buy it cause you're poor and you're gonna just stay poor" Yumi rambling to Larry about his lighting and I keep just keeping laughing at absolutely nothing, "oh yeah well you're so rich-" Larry cuts himself off from laughing, "y/n what are you laughing about?!!?" Larry asks while also laughing at me laughing about nothing. "Dude they're both at their breaking point" Isaac says while watching both Larry and I laugh non stop, "they're both losing it" Yumi adds on to what Isaac said.

Isaac then starts asking me why girls like thongs, "dude i don't know I haven't worn those in like ages" I say while calming down from laughing, "she hasn't worn a thong since 100 B.C" Larry says while laughing which caused me to laugh again. "No dude they just feel it different then what we feel" Yumi says but then quickly adds on how Isaac is gay for even thinking that, "no for real tho I think it has something to do with preventing less sweat and not to show our pantie lines" I say while still laughing a little, "oh no yea that too, girls don't like to show their pantie lines, yea I said that" Yumi says..."You did not say anything close to that" Isaac says. Isaac and Yumi start talking about whatever and I just kept zoning out to the point that I was falling asleep so I sat up straight and tried butting into their conversation to hopefully wake me up. "Isaac wake Larry up right now. There's no way he's sleeping, start the count down dude wake him up" Yumi says to Isaac while Isaac tries asking Larry what cuervo meant and he got no response. "No Larry better not be asleep I swear to god-" I say but got cut off by Isaac "wait wait okay 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0" Isaac counts down in a very unenthusiastic way. "KICK HIM! KICK HIM NOW!" Yumi yells at Isaac, who still gave Larry more time to wake up just in case he was trolling, "No dude they got Larry" I say fake crying as if he died. Larry then joins back after Yumi finishes his little celebration for being apart of the last 2, "dude what the fuck happened" I say to Larry, "no here's the thing- oh my God my heart is fucking beating fast!" Larry says and then he explains how him getting eliminated felt unreal and that he's not gonna be a sore loser about it which caused Yumi to compliment Larry for being a good teammate. "Bye Larry cheer for me in your dreams, imma win this for you" I say to Larry before Larry jokingly blows a girly kiss and wave at his camera then leaving.

THE FINAL 2:

It was just me, Yumi, and Isaac and we were both over it. My strategy simply didn't work but instead back fired at me. I was supposed to talk and argue with everyone so I can stay awake but instead I ended up zoning out almost halfway through which caused me to become even sleepier. "Isaac if you paid me $5000 right now, I'll leave" I say as I'm trying to leave the call with atleast a little bit of money, "no absolutely not" Isaac says while being completely over everything going on, "okay how about $5,000.50¢?" I say still trying to leave the call with just a little bit of money, "ooo you know what that's a good deal I would take it" Yumi agrees with me, "what no, you guys do realize that I have to give the winner 50k while also paying the loser 5k?" Isaac says trying to reason with me and Yumi but we still don't seem to get it and Isaac just gets frustrated.

"on the scale from 1-10 how sleepy are you Yumi?" Isaac asks Yumi so that he too can stay awake, "I would say, I would say, I would say, I don't know, id probably say-". "DUDE WHATS YOUR SCALE AT RIGHT NOW??!!" I scream at Yumi cause him not comprehending is causing me to not comprehend either. "I don't know id say I'm in another planet but I'm not sleepy, like I'm in another planet that higher and better than y'all's planet" Yumi says and it goes silent, "...imma be honest with you, for someone that says they on another planet, you don't look like you're on another planet right now?" I say while laughing a little which caused Yumi to laugh, "no cause y/n laughs at her own jokes" Yumi says while laughing, "honestly if y/n could date herself she would, wouldn't you y/n?" Isaac asks "if I could fuck myself I would trust me" I say without a single thought in my brain and all Isaac and Yumi did was laugh.

"okay one of y'all has to be on the verge to quit and I'm taking a bet that it's y/n" Isaac says in hopes of riling y/n up so she can stay awake, "how'd you know, Isaac's so smart, you're a smart guy Isaac" I say in a sarcastic tone cause I am on the verge of quiting, "Isaac you know y/n got invited to a Christmas party yesterday" Yumi says since isaac conversation plan didn't work out, "YEAHHHHHH" i say in a very cheer tone, "you're going for the food aren't you?" Isaac says, "yeah" I say back to my calm self while looking at my phone and Yumi laughs.

I'm looking at my phone and my mouth literally hangs open and my head starts feeling like 50 pounds so I nod off for a little bit since Yumi and Isaac are talking so a couple seconds of sleep wouldn't hurt. I feel relaxed, I feel better, I feel fresh, I feel happy, I feel...wait...why's everything quiet? I open my eyes to see my PC on the general chat and my heart completely falls to my ass. I panic and I see that Isaac and Yumi are still in the call so I quickly join. "Y/N WHAT HAPPENED?!!??" Isaac screams in my ear and I'm still shocked like I don't even know what's going on, "dude I swear I wasn't even asleep!" I say as I have a shocked face the whole time and no longer feeling sleepy, "I was actually rooting for you y/n, I'm so disappointed" Isaac says while Yumi cheers and laughs. "IM JUST AS SHOCKED AS YOU ISAAC WHAT THE FUCKKK" I say also disappointed in myself cause I came so far and I never won any of the LTLVC, I thought this year was also going to be my year. Yumi and I have calmed down but Yumi is still chatty and hyped up at the fact that he won $50,000, "Isaac...am I still gonna get the $5,000.50¢?" I ask politely, "no get the fuck out the call, congrats on winning Yumi, imma go to sleep leave me alone" Isaac says as he disconnects me and Yumi and I headed to sleep Knowing that I could've won half a million.

It was late. Like really late, you and Bella had spent the past few hours watching movies, laughing and overall messing around. Time always seemed to pass so much faster when you were with Bella, minutes felt like seconds and hours felt like minutes.

"we should go on a drive" you suggested you had no clue where the idea came from but it was late and you weren't about to question yourself. "yea ok, lets go" he said looking at you with possibly the biggest smile you've ever seen, you two sat there for a whole 2 minutes just staring at eachother before bursting back into giggles.

You had absolutely no idea where you were going, Bella on the other hand said that they 'knew a place'. The roads were empty the only things occupying them being the light from the street lights and Bella's car.

The windows were rolled all the way down and the spotify playlist you both made together was turned almost all the way up (Bella kept telling you that you'd wake up everyone in a 5 mile radius but still screamed along to all the lyrics with you).

Eventually the car came to a stop meaning that you were at this so called spot. You were at a loss for words when you saw the collage of different colored lights. You looked over at them to say thank you only to see him already staring at you.

" You're staring doofus," you comment following it with a light shove and a laugh. Your laugh. A sound that made Bella weak in the knees. "I know." You tried your very best not to get flustered by this but your face betrays you as you begin to feel your cheeks getting hotter.

You're stunned, only for a second though because before you know it you you're reaching over to hold his face in your hands. You pull them into a kiss, it was short you were simply testing the waters. Pulling away you two looked in eachothers eyes, which wasn't very long lived as Bella pulled you right back in for another kiss.

This time it was different. It was passionate but hungry, you both wanted this for so long now and it was better than you both could've ever imagined. You're hands went up to their hair as you deepened the kiss. One of their hands traveled down to your waist while the other was being used to keep you two stable. This went on for a while with short breaks in between for much needed air.

Eventually you break the kiss, your hands still playing with her hair. It was quiet, with you two looking into each others eyes, you two really didn't need to say anything but eventually Bella breaks the comfortable silence. " So will you be my partner?"

"There's no way we are going back in King's Landing" Savaelle screamed at her father and tucked inside her comforter.

"We are going, the King is sick you have to meet him atleast" Daemon reasoned.

Savaelle can only rolled her eyes "Yeah and my dragon has one head" she sarcastically spoke.

"I am not a fool father, we are going there because you're dear wife wants to" Savaelle added, it's the truth her father wouldn't bring her to King's Landing to meet the King he's giving his new wife a favor.

"This is not about Rhaenyra"

"No it is! Ever since you're married to her everything is about her, you even cared for her sons than your own!" she snapped and pushed him out of her room.

"Stop being a spolied cunt! and listen to what I say" he gripped her arms tightly causing to her to groan in pain.

"A spoiled cunt huh? you're barely even present in my life" she pushed him with her full force and closed her door.

She leaned against the door and let out a big sigh, the only thing she's excited about going back in King's Landing is meeting her cousin Helaena again they're too young the last time they saw each other.

In the end she didn't have any choice but to obey her father, she was packing her clothes when Rhaenyra entered her room.

"Are you done?" She nicely asked, Rhaenyra has always been nice to her but the young princess doesn't do the same, she can't help but to be mad at them Rhaenyra, her sons and Daemon, they're all happy and expecting for a new child while her here miserable carrying the fact that her own father killed her mother. She was about to help Savaelle but she already pulled away before she can even help her.

"I didn't remember inviting you in my chambers leave now I do not need your help" She said pissed and pull out a cigarette from her drawer and lit it up.

"And you shouldn't be invading my privacy leave" she said again.

"Savaelle I'm really trying to make this work between us were a family now" Rhaenyra softly said, she don't want the princess to feel that she's not part of them. "Your father loves you Savaelle"

"Yeah tell that my mother and watch as she rise from the dead and laugh at your face" Savaelle chuckled and huff another smoke.

They all arrived in King's Landing when the doors opened in the Halls a pair of arms immidietly wrapped to her it was Helaena.

"Savaelle! I missed you so much finally you decided to visit here, it's been so long" she said and wrapped her hands around Savaelle's arm.

She can only nod at Helaena while they're walking she was drifted away from Daemon and Rhaenyra as they entered a room.

"Savaelle this is my brother Aegon you remember him don't you?" Helaena introduced her to a guy with a sideways medium hair.

"Greetings to you prince Aegon, how are you?" Savaelle greet and gave them a warm smile.

"I'm great, I am actually married now?" the prince only answered.

"That's great who's this lucky lady?" she tried to sound genuine because if she's being honest no woman is lucky to have this man.

Aegon and Helaena looked at each other, she noticed the way their hands intertwined and reveal their marriage ring.

Holy shit sometimes she forgot that interbred is common in his father's family but she didn't expect this.

"Oh apologies! Congratulations" she said awkwardly, after that she excused herself from them to find her two brothers and she saw them at the grounds where they used to train with their mentors when they were still kids.

"Jace, Luke" she called them the two boys looked at her back, she steps closer to them.

She noticed that they're playing and looking at the new swords, Jacaerys was too mesmerized with that swords while Lucerys seems distracted or bothered.

"What's wrong?" Jacaerys asked him but Savaelle's attention was caught by people whispering behind them.

The two prince agreed to her and soon their attentions were caught with a sudden cheering from somewhere Jace and Luke pulled Savaelle with them and pushed themselves to the crowd finally getting in the front, Savaelle saw to men duelling.

One has a white hair and an eyepatch, Aemond Targaryen and the other man was his trainor Ser Criston Cole.

"Is that?" Jacaerys traced as he looked at her.

"Aemond"

"Is he your uncle or cousin?" Lucerys asked confused which make her chuckle.

"I don't know, perhaps cousin well I'm not your mother's child" she explained, why does her father's family tree is fucked up.

"Still you're our sister right?" Jacaerys said.

Savaelle looked at them, she might hate their mother and her father but she can never hate these two boys in front of her.

"Look that's Lady Royce daughter right?" The three seems to hear it at the same time.

She sighs and just ignored them, of course she could never run from being one of the topics of nosy cunts here.

They realize that the person that's talking about her was just behind them.

"How dare they talk about you" Savaelle stopped her brothers before they can even start a scene.

"Ignore them" she said and continue to watch the duel between Aemond and Criston.

"There's whisper said that her mother was killed by her father and he would call her a bronze bitch" Savaelle's ear refuse not to listen to their gossips, she  gulped and try to distract not until she heard what they said next.

"Her mother is a bitch no wonder the prince didn't let her live" A dropped of tear fell in her eye and she immidietly grabbed a sword and ran towards the man, she swing the sword meeting the head of the guy a loud screams echoed as soon as his head dropped on the floor.

"Take my mother's name out of your mouth" she said tears are now flowing in her eyes but her face remained emotionless. "If anyone try to disrespect my mother you will have the same fate as his" she added.

"Disarm her!" a knight shouted but before they can even touch her she already threw the sword.

"Savaelle!" Luke and Jace run to her when the knight forcefully make her kneel and put her arms behind her.

"She's the princess let go of her!" Jacaerys shouted.

"Let her go" A voice from behind spoke.

"Prince Aemond..." The knight bow his head to him.

"As I said let the princess go" the knight nod and follow his order, her brothers help her stand up and wipe her tears.

"They disrespect my mother..." Savaelle finally broke down in tears, Luke hugged her while Jace rubbed her back and guide her inside the castle.

She wants to go home, not in Dragonstone, not here in Keep, she wants to go back in Runestone her mother's hometown.

The two boys didn't spoke Savaelle never cried in front of anyone but maybe what she have heard was too foul to make her cry like this. She was hugging her knees and buried her blood stained face between them.

The door in the room opened revealing their parents behind her was the Queen and her three children.

"Savaelle" Daemon called her and went to her, he tried to comfort her but Savaelle pushed him away.

"You're the reason why this is all happening to me..." she whispered, she felt so drained like she was so empty inside.

The Queen and her children left to give them some privacy.

"I want to go back  home, I want to be in Runestone..." she added and cried more.

Daemon stared at her daughter's state, her upper part of dress has stains of blood up to her face, he and Rhaenyra have heard the action she did earlier.

"This is now your home..." Daemon states but she shake her head.

"Savaelle, I regretted all of my actions before I was selfish that time and unmindful but I'm not anymore since I took care of you and watch you grow up" He explained.

"I realized that I shouldn't did that, I know you're looking for a mother's love but Rhaenyra is here she will be your mother" He continued.

"No I don't need your love and certainly I do not need her love" she snapped and leave the room.

Daemon sighs as she walked out, Rhaenyra went to him and rub his back comforting him, what else does he have to do for his daughter to finally accept him and their new family.

"Just give her more time" Rhaenyra smiled to him.

On the other hand, Savaelle stumbled in Helaena in the halls and she askes for her help to lead her in her chambers.

"Yes, thank you Helaena" Savaelle's smile was sad and her cousin Helaena noticed it.

Helaena left her in her room she said that sooner dinner will be ready.

She took a bath in her room in a clean bathtub she filled it with water a soap and dive in there. She relaxed herself a book is in her hand reading it and the other one is a cigarette.

That night a welcoming feast was gathered in between the families, Savaelle was brushing her hair she's already late but she can't leave with her hair untouched. She ran towards the dinner hall everyone was already there Jace, Luke, The Queen and King and their three children, her father and Princess Rhaenyra and two unfamiliar princesses but her guess that it was her half sisters Rhaena and Baela she heard that they're engaged to Jace and Luke maybe that's why they're here.

She sat beside Jacaerys and three seats are unoccupied before Aegon.

"You're late" an old man said, it was Otto Hightower.

"No need to point it out" she rudely said earning a slight chuckle from her brothers and father.

She walked towards the King and kisses his cheek.

"I am sorry for being late your Grace" she smiled, Viserys can't help but to hugged her in her small time staying here when she was a kid Viserys and her bonded.

"It's nice you see you again" Viserys said sounds like he's about to cry.

The dinner turned out great and peaceful....surprisingly they all laugh, smile it's Savaelle first time eating with all of them and complete.

She watched as Jacaerys walked towards Helaena inviting her for a dance, Helaena's brother and... husband ugh glared at her brother Jace. They both danced together she can see how her cousin look so relief and happy she was clapping when a hand was placed in front of her.

"May I have a dance with you, princess?" she looked at where the voice came from it was prince Aegon.

She pursed her lips and accepted his offer they both walked near the other two, Aegon placed his hands on her ass and gently squeezing it, her face tinged with discomfort, Daemon stood up from his chair but before he can even come near his daughter, Aemond already took actions, he gripped his brother's arm.

"I do think that this isn't the right way to dance a lady, if you don't mind I would like to show you" Aegon rolled his eyes as Aemond took his place to her.

He guide her arms gently to wrap it around his neck and his arms wrapped around her waist "Is this fine?" he asked for permission and she can only nod.

Aemond stared at her examining her perfect sculpted face, her silver hair same as him but her eyes is violet, not purple or lavender but a beautiful violet unlike him he get his eyes from his mother.

"You're very beautiful princess" he suddenly blurted as they intertwined their arms and dance.

"Why thank you, my prince" Savaelle smile making him drop his heart, her smile seven fucking hell she's gorgeous.

After they dance they go back to their sits the King already asked to rest while in the middle of feast while the servants guide him to his chambers, new foods was served it was a roasted pig Savaelle can clearly see Luke's chuckling.

He's laughing at something and when she followed his gaze it was Aemond who's he's laughing at, everyone flinched when Aemond softly slammed his fist at the table before grabbing a goblet.

"For the final tribute for my nephews, prince Jace, prince Luke, and prince Joffrey, they've grown into a wise, handsome and STRONG boys" he emphasizes the word strong, Savaelle looked at them god why would he bring this up again?

"I dare you to say it again" Jacaerys said warning him, Aemond tilts his head to the side pretending to be confused.

"Cheers for the three Strong boys"  he still continued.

Jacaerys walked towards him but he was quickly pushed by Aemond to the ground, Luke stood up to defend his brother but Aegon quickly held his head and pushed it on the table, Savaelle took the knife near her and stabbed the prince hand.

"Fuck!" Aegon shouts as he let go of Luke, she immidietly went to him and check him

"I'm okay, thanks" The boy said, Luke and Jace both tried to fight the two other brothers when the guards held them both.

The guards let go of them when Rhaenyra and Daemon came, Savaelle held their arms and looked at Aemond he was talking to her mother while smirking to them, pissing her brothers

"Don't" She said as she tightly gripped their arm, soon Aemond stormed out of the room.

After the fight that happened Savaelle decided to have a small fly, she changed her clothes and leave her chamber.

She whistled when she was finally outside the castle she heard a growl from a far and slowly she saw her dragon, Yrael a three headed dragon with black scales.

She was smiling and was about to go to the dragon when a hand grabbed her.

"And where do you think you're going princess?" Aemond asked teasingly, he snakes his arms around her waist.

"I need fresh air and get your hand off me" Aemond immidietly did what she said and muttered an apology.

"It's dangerous to be out in the middle of the night"

"Oh please there's no safe place for women my prince" Savaelle rolled her eyes while walking towards her dragon and pet him.

"A three headed dragon? Impressive" Aemond complimented.

"He's beautiful right?" Savaelle said and mount him.

"My prince you have two choice either you're gonna come with me and accompany me somewhere or you're going back to the castle and your chamber and pretend like didn't see anything, choose" Aemond chuckled at her proposal.

"Wait for me up in the sky" Is what he only said before leaving her.

She did end up waiting for him in the sky, she was about to leave when Yrael was distracted by a dragon's growl, he saw a big dragon Vhagar stopping beside her dragon.

"Shall we?" Aemond said and they both flee in the sky.

They take their time up in the sky until they get tired they both stopped in a Lake, Aemond took off his robe and put it on the grass so they can sit comfortably.

"So what's with your problem with my brothers?" Savaelle broke the silence between them

"They're not your brothers, you're a Targaryen their aren't"

"To me they are"

Aemond sighs "When I was young they use to tease me for not having a dragon one day they told me that they have a surprise for me that they found a dragon for me turns out it was a pig" Savaelle finally understand why was Lucerys laughing earlier when a pig was placed in front of him.

"I just returned what they did to me, earlier Lucerys was making fun of me because of the big so I made fun of their legitimacy" he added

She don't know what to respond honestly, she do know what it felt like being questioned by her legitimacy but she don't know what it felt like making fun of for not having a dragon.

"You looked like Lady Royce" she looked at him, surprised no one has ever told her that people often tell her how she looked like Daemon because of her eyes and hair it makes her irritated knowing that people can see her father's resemblance to her and not her mother.

"Are you teasing me?" she asked it was a genuine question.

"No haha, I know people often tell you how you looked like your father but no I can see Lady Royce I saw her once when I was a child" he replied and went closer to her.

"I don't have any memories of her, but my uncle show me some paintings of her" She murmured "They told me that they never seen her happy until the day that I was born" she added a small tears escaped her eyes.

Aemond wiped it for her, "You deserve the world princess" he professed.

Savaelle smiled finally a person who can umderstand her, they sat there and just watch or talk about the stars surprisingly the prince knows alot about astronomy.

He watched as the starry sky reflect in her eyes, she's so magically gorgeous.

ft. Toya, An, and Kohane / Vivid BAD SQUAD

You had been dating Akito for a while now. After being close friends since elementary school, it was only a matter of time before romantic feelings were felt for the other.

The both of you almost knew everything about the other, schedules, practice dates, birthdays, and so much more.

Whenever Akito had a performance coming up, he tended to forget alot of important dates, but out of all dates he could've forgotten, why this one?

It was a little hard for Akito to explain to you VBS' 'sekai'. A world created by feelings? A world with pieces of all 4 of you connected? What do you mean virtual singers can be found there?

Once you finally were able to put atleast some of what he was saying together ( you have no clue what's going on ), he asked if you'd like to visit.

Today is that day.

"You ready, [Name]? It's a little confusing when you first go, but I promise you'll like it" Akito shot you an awkward smile. You responded with a quiet chuckle and said "Im ready! I can't wait to meet Hatsune Miku and Ka..Kaga.."

"Kagamine Rin and Len."

"Thats what I said. I am really excited to meet all of them either way. Let's go!"

Akito double-clicked on a computer file, and the room flashed white. You closed your eyes instinctively and you soon felt so light. When you opened your eyes, you saw a beautiful café, a short haired brunette, and the rest of Vivid Bad Squad sitting and talking with her.

She turned to look at you and Akito, and gave you a warm smile and walked over to say hello.

"Ah, you must be [Name]! It's a pleasure to finally meet you. Welcome to our sekai. My name is MEIKO."

You paused for a moment, eyeing her. She didn't seem mean, and she did resemble and sound like Meiko..

"Nice to meet you as well. Is this your cafe? It smells great."

Akito smiled happily watching you and MEIKO walk towards the café, soon joining his band mates and meeting the other VIRTUAL SINGERS.

One by one, as MIKU, RIN, LEN, KAITO, and LUKA gathered to come say hi. At some point, the conversation had switched over to childhood memories, and LUKA had asked how old you were.

You opened your mouth to answer, but Akito was far quicker than you were.

"[Name]'s sixteen. They're only a few months younger than me and-"

"I'm seventeen."

The room went silent for a few moments, Everyone looking at you and Akito with wide eyes, and you felt a lump in your throat.

An was the first to pipe up, "We missed your birthday? Why didn't you tell us?"

"I did. I texted the groupchat that day." You messed with a hangnail. "I guess you all had ignored the birthday cake next to my contact name or the many pictures I took on my birthday. But you guys did also have a performance on my birthday, so you didn't have much of a chance to see me."

You looked up to glance at everyone. Akito looked away guiltily, Toya and Kohane looked worried, and An was surprised. RIN, LEN, and KAITO looked angry. MEIKO had frozen up, her hand hovering over the on button for the coffee maker while LUKA looked slightly confused. MIKU looked at the 4 of them, disappointed. When she locked eyes with you, she gave you an apologetic look.

Unable to handle the silence and embarrassment you felt, you quickly grabbed your phone and left the sekai, feeling the tears and watching your vision get blurry.

The next day, you woke up to knocks on your door. When you opened it, Akito and the rest of VBS were holding multiple presents as their eyes lit up when they heard the door unlocking.

Akito started, "Hey, [Name]. About yesterday, We felt incredibly bad for missing out on your whole birthday solely because we had people to perform for. I know it might be a little late for all this, but we got you late birthday presents and food."

Kohane added on, "Akito's right. We had all planned gifts for you in advance to your birthday, but we all know how that went." Toya spoke up as well, "Mhm. We truly hope you can forgive us, and we can make it up to you in this way." An swayed side to side slowly before speaking up, "Even if you dont forgive us, atleast take the gifts? You truly deserve them."

You couldn't help but feel a little giddy as you forgave them all and pulled all of them in for a hug. You let them inside and the rest of the day was filled with happiness, gifts, and pancakes. ( Thank Akito. )

This is the best ( really late ) birthday you've ever had.

Travis is pretty much a gross man but atleast he's not as bad as Val, maybe Travis could learn the errors of his ways and somehow apologise to Angel

I really like redemption arcs. For some reason, I really want to see more redeemed Villans in HB and HH. And I usually hate Villan redemption arcs, lol. (But like it's hazbin so...they should have some.)

I dont usually love them, especially if you don't see their growth, you know. Idk. They're a bit overdone in today's modern movies and shows.

Villan says sorry, and they get over it.

Not really my cup of tea ☕️ and not a proper arc..

But I'd actually like to see Adam and Vox redeemed or Stella. We talked about the possibility of her redemption before. With proper growth and story arcs that we can see throughout.

But Travis?

That would be interesting.

He seems to love watching people suffer, though. Which is mostly why I hate Valentino.

But like Vox, he mostly just enables Val, and probably because he's scared of him. He's not the one actually doing anything... so if he turns himself around and sees the error of his ways. Could be possible 🤔

Seeing Angel in such a bad situation that he realizes Angel didn't deserve the treatment he received, and so he tries to help him? And apologize for using him?

I think it could happen.

And ngl he'd make a fun edition to the main crew, and if he also belongs to Val. Imagine the drama!

And the support Angel could get if Travis was on their side?

But! On the other hand.

He's still a pretty bad person. We don't know how bad.

He hasn't done anything too horrid I don't think, but it could be worse than we know.

Or not as bad as we think. Idk. 🤷‍♂️

He reminds me of the bat from great mouse detective. Silly bat that goes along with the bad guy because he thinks its..."fun" or will grant him respect or something...

But those are just my thoughts.

everyone seems to have forgotten that when the show started ray was minding his own business about top and mew aside from few eye rolls, even reminding boston "who's sleeping with who is none of my business"

not until boston decided to gaslight him into thinking top was gonna hurt mew and all he could do is stay by and watch . like boston didn't introduce top to the gang and practically set mew up while also actively perusing top on the down low.

so to the lot of you saying boston was right to about ray weaseling his way between top and mew, i want yall to stop and look at the progression of events. How every single person in this friend group has exploited and made fun of ray's feelings for mew including sand and cheum. atleast sand had the decency to apologize for it.

even mew is now taking advantage of it to keep ray as his rebound but mostly to hurt top and make his nightmare (raymew) a reality

look im not saying ray is not at fault here, he's incredibly confused, heavily addicted and selfish to a point of not even being aware of it and an absolute brat. what he isn't is a asshole like top or boston BUT he's getting there especially when drunk and blinded by love

it's sad to think everyone in that friend group has a family or friend to fall back on but ray's only hope was sand but that isn't pan out when they haven't found a way to deal with what is their relationship now he's gonna drag sand along with him when he's hitting the grounds.

as the show progresses ray's regression is in the limelight, he's a ticking bomb and while it gets to the point of getting help for his addiction he's gonna blow everyone up around him and himself

i do wish for a happy ending for sandray but this show isn't headed that direction and its getting clearer by every new episode we get

The Y-7 Psychopath - Cowardice or Humility

Don't know if anybody cares about some juvenile "media analysis" from me, but why not, especially on a idea I had in my mind, and finally think it is prudent to put it out there, to see how people feel about it.

So you know western cartoons? And Im not talking about "adult animated sitcoms" or the recent surge of "totally mature and bloody!!!" cartoons that in the end are the same juvenile superhero stuff lol just with exploding heads and awkward animated sex scenes lol.

Yeah, just the standard cartoons that people get really insecure about liking, and make video essays about how "actually it is a masterpiece of mature writting". But instead of me mocking this fact to try to hide my own anxiety over being somebody who makes a fanfic comic, lets go with this

So lets circle back to the title of this "essay" - and start with an example - Everybody loves Zuko from Avatar, I watched the show as a kid, you did, probably kids today do it when all their influencer idols force them too.

Perfect for exploring the point then: And that is the point, people claim how realistic and satisfieng Zuko's arc is, how the redemption is both earned and not without hurdles, not without fallbacks. So where is the issue?

Well I remember sometimes smugly thinking "Well what a coincidence that Zuko never actually on screen killed anyone so he never is really a bad guy...' And this I interpreted to be mostly the case of the rating - basically without the restriction the show would probably include Zuko killing what is at best combatants of the defending side or at worst even civilians. And this would probably kinda derail the arc or leave a bad taste in everybodys mouth...

But the question is left unanswered - is it at the end better, that Zuko gets redemeed in a way that is setup to leave out this elephant out of the room? Hell even I felt kinda weirded out about how nonchalant everyone was about the fact that Zuko hired an assassin, like it was kinda played off for laughs, but maybe that was to show "see we are redeeming him without writting out realistic evils like murder!" - still there is a difference between killing civilians and hiring some copyright free terminator.

So no answer? Well maybe lets look at the opposite case - anime, the cartoons that can kinda go away with showing unscreen murder and atrocities. And to bring it back, lets go with Soul Eater (and no manga spoiler this time cause Im generous and because this would open another can of worms, and I'll save that for the future)

Everybodys favorite charachter that gets reduced to one trait that ironically would be kinda problematic if one really was thinking about it in a certain way - Crona. Also know for killing people who were pointed out to be "not evil enough for it to be ok©®™"

So here we have this charachter, with a whole arc of being abused, having the famous trauma™, doing bad because of a parental figure and wanting to make that figure happy even if its in a twisted way, not getting what real love is...

Basically Im saying Zuko and Crona share a lot of simmilarities looked at this surface level. But only Crona has the problematic aspect of "mass murder". And even I kinda felt it being pushed under the rug no matter how I'll defend Crona from slander on the net while being sick both in body and soul lol.

But here is the thing - atleast I see Crona (atleast in the anime) as mostly some kind of child soldier - I dont think anybody thinks that some african boy that was forced at gunpoint to snort coke and kill his parents while being abused all his life, is "guilty" of the crimes in a way that an adult who does it for a less extreme reason.

Still, even if for me that is mostly justification enough (even if I kinda problematise the whole guilt thing in my comic), I still get it - even if explained it still leaves a bad aftertaste

Like even the most goodhearthed person would probably be weirded out if the person next to them would go "Thank God I was saved, cause till I was 14, I was forced to go from village to village and shoot everyone that moved!". One can say neither person is really at fault yet still it is a sticky topic.

And maybe thats where Im going with this - the problem isnt about depicting the redemption or whatever of killers, but if a story is mature and "deep" enough to handle it. So with my Avatar example I think that in a back handed way, it was good that Zuko wasnt a killer - becaue even if everybody loves the show (I mostly do to, shit was fun) - its kinda clear that in the end the writting and themes etc were on a level of a kid show - enough for kids, but not complex enough to actually deal with some things that other works could (and not even talking about something being grimdark or complex, cause nah everybody hates DBZ but that shit was so.good everybody felt Vegeta turning good and dont make essays about how bad that was, anyways that is why DBZ is too complicated for most western fans💅💅💅 ((but thats a topic for another day))

So to come back to the Crona question - was Soul Eater really prepared to deal with the topic of mass killing inocent people (mostly)? Especially when Ohkubo says himself that it was "a show where death isnt taken seriously"?

Cause I think, with Cronas struggle being mostly about abuse, doing bad things because of parental abandonment, fear etc, was it really necessary to add this baggage? Especially with a show that has that many visual metaphors?

And one example that I would use kinda proves my point and maybe implys that Ohkubo also kinda started backpedalling - the second time we see Crona, there are no wannabe gangsters, just souls of already killed people by another kishinegg which is just a wacky bad guy who isnt even really alive himself (and eve. comically survives)

Basically what I'm entertaining, is if wouldnt have been better to have Crona absorb souls that other Kishinseggs had collected, in this way preserving that they do something wrong (but reversible as later shown with the confiscation) yet never having to go to the extreme of "haha check out this wacky outfit our new friend Crona is wearing! Also twenty people were murdered in that church, shit was crazy"

But am I really basically saying 4kids Crona is the answer. Putting it this way lol, I dunno, I mean I like the pirate rap, but just sanitising everything seems off to me to. So yeah I dont even know.

Hello there! It has been way too long since i updated you guys on how i've been doing, and i've probably only got myself to blame on this one. But i have FANtastic news to share! (get it? Cus i'm fan? Genious, i know.) I finally managed to get a job! And a decent one this time, no more cleaning mediocre school halls for me! (Horrayyy!)

So this entire hiatus hasnt been for nothing, i've been very hard at work finally being able to persue the thing i love the most, writting! Now i can officially call myself a journalist instead of an amature blogger. The self-improvement sure is real, love to see it. Sadly, I am constantly restricted from putting my heart and soul onto the paper in favor of transmitting what could be classified as useless information to whoever is bored enough to watch the news. And that constant restrain has made me miss the days of the good ol' Fan blog, so i guess you could say that's the reason i'm here. I've missed writting whatever i want to without the need to always double or triple check my work, its fun to not worry if every single word i type fits into my current streams of thought and stuff like that. But you don't wanna hear about all of that do you? You wanna hear about the funny stories! The authentic work experience i have gained! Atleast i hope so, because if not then youre probably in the wrong blog. But if that IS what you came here for, bluckle up bukaroo because im about to tell all about the working woes and friendly foes!

First off the job aplication process was VERY off-putting, my 2 future bosses took care of the interview and they asked... odd questions. They were also always a little too...rude. But thats ok! Nothing that i havent already handled. On the job i have met some interesting personalities such as suitcase! (I was given permission to state her name, duh) suitcase is very kind and funny, but she also has social anxiety, which is weird considering she is one of the few reporters we have, the type that usually goes out, interviews others and deals with harsh weather conditions for some reason. Suitcase is always busy going from one place to another so she can grab the needed fotage, and since im normally the one who writtes her scripts, i get to go with her sometimes! The news channel utilises this totally not ominous and cramped mini-van to cary all of the needed equipment and people. Surprisingly enough, my supervisor is the one who drives the van! She's quite chill, her voice is so smooth that i have to stop myself from yawning when i'm around her. Dont get on her bad side though, i once saw her almost yell at our make-up artist. Speaking of that, they both have some weird relationship going on, i genuinely have no idea if they are friends or enemies and at this point i am too scared to ask suitcase about it.

Working there is pretty chill, i tecnically dont need to phisically be there but hey, a bit more of social interaction wouldnt hurt. Besides, i wouldnt have met suitcase if i only sent my scripts via e-mail! So its a win-win! What else do i have to say abt work? Hmmm.... oh yea! I have a funny story to share!

On my first few days, suitcase told me that the make-up artist was an extreme chatter-box that preferably likes to "spill the tea" on everyone. But if you've been following this blog for a while now, you'd know that im not really good with understanding these types of frases, so for the longest time i thought that this guy actually spilled tea on people on porpose. (he looks really refined, so i just assumed he would be the kind of guy to like tea) So i, being extremelly cautious to not get tea on my lovely red paper, avoided him for like 5 days straight! He eventually caught on and complained to suitcase about it, she then told me so, and i explained my conundrum to her. After she explained what the frase actually meant, we couldnt stop laughting! I never actually apologised to the guy, i sure hope he doesnt hold grudges!

Same anon from the last post and I can’t believe that I really used to blame myself because of eiypo and shit, (never on anything outside of my awareness like natural disasters) but I really used to blame myself for things people would say to me and do to me. Let’s say i have a problem with my skin and someone comments on it I would be like well eiypo so I gotta change my assumption. Now im realizing that’s such a shitty way to look at life always correcting myself because of what other people say is wrong. Or like some yt coaches not calling her out because she comes from a good place,preaching about well if he broke up with you and left you while you’re pregnant you must have some hidden assumption that he was gonna do that. (That last part was over exaggerating but basically it was saying something along the lines of that) It’s not a good way to look at life atleast for me I don’t want to always be assuming that I have to fix everyone and everything, not to mention the fix your sc or you won’t ever have a good relationship or you will lose the person you are in a relationship with, that would really confuse me considering that there are plenty of women who get in relationships insecure as hell and their partners help them heal and build them up even when they thought the worst of men or relationships in general. I also feel like certain people dive so deep into loa (I was one of them so no shade) when it’s so unnecessary I notice maybe it’s just me but a lot of people get their desires when they just do whatever feels right for them and keep it light hearted. Which can be extremely hard when people are faced circumstances that can be very difficult for them to deal with. So like Carmen says make your own rules make it easier on yourself. Another thing my last point, states I swear every time I see or hear this word I roll my eyes because it’s like why do I have to shift states and focusing on states is the key. If thinking thoughts or affirming or assuming or whatever anybody wants to call it is the reason why my states are shifting maybe I’m just confused. I feel like for certain yt coaches they need new content to talk about for people to watch so they can make money so they just come out with something new every few months. That’s why I like the tumblr community even though for a long time up until maybe the end of April it was giving similar vibes of you have to do this and this and this and then finally get your desire. It was super stressful and I found myself trying to do everything even the void knowing that, that’s not for me. This last few weeks seeing a lot of people shifting from the whole laundry list of rules to do what you want to do and get succeed is very freeing.

i liked a lot of barbie but…so on the nose. and obv it’s the barbie movie so it won’t be as nuanced as some other ones but like, cmon. the reason everyone is obsessed with ken is that his brainwashing makes sense. barbie’s arc is so much less well thought out

these are a few things that would’ve made it more nuanced by just not adding them in the film (and by removing it, making it more nuanced):

1. glorias husband existed solely for the reason to say that gloria was heterosexual (i don’t think i’d be this disappointed if he just. didnt exist and barbie was in the front seat at the end of the film, leaving the audience to interpret on their own what kind of family dynamic the three of them had created/therefor challenging the nuclear family).

he shouldn’t have existed, served no purpose other than to ensure the hetero norm and the nuclear family

2. glorias monologue was also tired and repeated and just done before and i wanted more. it didn’t cover anything that hasn’t been covered before and it just left me feeling sad and disappointed. if its a film based on feminism and patriarchy, go all the way or atleast do something new

3. gloria even told barbie that she shouldn’t apologize to ken, reminding barbie that he brainwashed the barbies and tried to overthrow the government. and then she still did? she still had to fight him trying to kiss her while still also apologizing? while still doing the emotional labour for him as women do for men. she shouldn’t have apologized like. just not apologizing would’ve made it more nuanced/radical

4. ’one day the kens will have the same power in barbieland just like women in the real world!’ and for what? they brainwashed, took advantage of women and tried to overthrow the government. women in the real world have never tried to do that / and if i so much as tell a man that i think women deserve rights im being a boring feminist ruining the mood. im certainly not being rewarded for it.

they shouldve removed that line, instead of ending the film in mens favor and patting them on the back

by not adding these lines, plots or characters the film would’ve been much more nunced in my opinuon so its not a question on how it ”should’ve done more” bc doing more in this case just ruined it

Gotta agree with a lot of ur points. So many male actors out there that they didnt read/watch the source material of the character their playing and get no shit but the moment a female actress say that all hell breaks loose.

From what I have seen it seems like the problem most people have with her is how she spoke negatively about og snow white and its plot and themes and characters. And there was that whole thing with the drawfs (im not going into that rabbit hole).

Personally the girl seems nice. Its easy to see that shes new to the scene. And she seems to ramble (?) say things without thinking them through ( ppl call her a pr nightmare 💀) (apparently this has happened before). But overall she seems nice and lovely.

The only thing that i found a bit eye raising was her saying her costar on film who plays the prince can just be cut out of the movie which was a bit ??? Though i can tell she didn't mean this badly or negatively (atleast i hope).

The thing that's so baffling to me is we've had people actively hating the source material of the movie/TV show they're adapting and most everyone was fine with it. Robert Pattinson (my beloved) spent nearly his entire time in the Twilight franchise actively hating everything his character did and every plotpoint in the books and the movies, and nobody batted an eye. But now Rachel said something about this movie nobody's even seen yet and isn't even done filming and it's World War 3? What?

The thing to me is that, OK, she said something that was perceived as disparaging to the original movie. So? Maybe she said that the plot wasn't that interesting or that the characters are flat or the themes basic to nonexistent, beyond the fact that she wouldn't be wrong to say any of that because it's all true (no shade if you like that movie, but it is a bit basic compared to even other classic Disney movies like Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty, and it makes sense that it's flat because, again, it was the first of the Disney animated movies that would solidify its brand), but genuinely: who cares? Literally who cares if a Disney movie of almost a hundred years old is being lightly disparaged for two minutes? Why are you (not you anon, but the collective you, the royal we type of you) so upset about it? Is your identity so desperately and intrinsically tied into the concept of 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves as created by the Walt Disney company that the lightest critique is tantamount to a personal attack?

Listen, I get having strong feelings about favorite movies, even favorite Disney movies. My favorite movie of all time is most likely The Lion King, I find it a practically perfect film and beyond my enjoyment, it is something that's fundamentally tied into my relationship with my father in a way only he and I share, I get having an emotional connection to these kinds of movies even as an adult. But if y'all are pitching a hissy fit because Rachel might be pulling an RPatz, that's for you to sort out with a responsible adult, or in therapy, not go and be gross on Twitter for no reason.
