I just think Tallulah gets to be upset about this. “It’s not Wilbur’s fault” “He’s not a bad dad” “He loves his daughter so much” yes! These are all true! And it’s not his fault! But he’s still not there. And Tallulah has gone through so much and still hasn’t seen him, the one time he was around was the one time she wasn’t, and all she has are letters and “I’m thinking of you always” and things that used to be theirs together, but he’s still not there. She’s waited and she’s been patient and she’s loved him all the same, and he’s still not there. Like yesterday, and the day before, and the day before, from the happy milestones to the traumatic events, he’s still not there.
She knows that it’s not his fault, but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s absent. That in and of itself just adds to the sorrow, because she knows why he’s gone, and she’s been told time and time again it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care, she knows this - it doesn’t mean it doesn’t sting, that it doesn’t hurt, that she doesn’t yearn for her father to be there more than anything in the world, and he’s just not there.
So yes, she gets to be upset, and be caustic, and stomp her feet and write bitter messages, and be angry and vitriolic, because she’s a little girl missing her father, who feels things with her whole heart and soul - and that means she gets to feel the ugly parts of it, too.

A tamer question this time, but do you think the people writing Connor Hawke will remember he also was friends with Cass & Steph?, more so Steph because not only did he respect her capabilities as a vigilante when Tim was being his dickish elitist self, but she trusted him enough he was one of the persons she imagined saving her & her baby in one comic
I'm not the best person to answer this because I'm not super well read on either Connor or Steph, but I did love their crossover in Batgirl (2000) so I would love for their friendship to be brought up again!! Particularly for Steph because as much as I love Steph + Cass, they've been attached together for way too long at this point, they need to explore/reinforce Steph's non-Batfam relationships more (like Connor, her mom etc.). Anyway sorry this wasn't a great response but I hope their friendship is built upon again soon!

I'm back in the Miguel trenches and I just saw this and I just about fell to the floor in tears because this is literally what's gonna happen to Mateo..

#obvi yeah Miguel would not in general BUT Im crazy and am gonna make this about the Arachnopi family#like even after Mateo helps Arachnopi with their funky situationship they still aren't end game#they will all one day go back to their respective dimensions. no mater how much Mateo literally BEGS them to stay together#he finally had his “parents” for a little over a year. you really think he'd be willing to let that go?#obvi not. and it consumes him. pain that could've easily been preventable if he just kept himself out if their business in the first place#He feels their presence missing for the rest of his life#and knowing it could all be prevented gives him a new life mission#To make sure no other dumb kid goes down the same path of dumb decisions he did.#He basically becomes a Miguel 2.0 who specializes in stopping young spider people for dimension hopping for personal relationships#He’d thankfully never meet another May/Miguel variant#but he will get comments from younger spiders who know Miguel that they see the resemblance#Especially since he’d constantly overwork himself which makes him look older then he is even when he’s only in his 20s#And like I said earlier Miguel would be devastated to see Mateo like this#ESPECIALLY if he’s older and goes through his inevitable btsv character development#he’d see so much if his Atsv version of himself in Mateo. #random thoughts#guess what motherfuckers it's blue man time#i imagine it would be in the style of a college ruled notebook rick stole from summer and morty#like it was originally summer's before she stopped using it and morty stole it in the way siblings steal notebooks from each other#like you know when it's the end of the school year and there's just so many notebooks with barely any pages used up so you take it#anyway it was summer's and then it was morty's for him to document his adventures in and then it was rick's#because rick stole it#because he was annoyed with morty's constant journaling for whatever reason so it went 'missing'#anyway it has so many like. sticky notes and tape and torn pages and so many different types of pen#and it's either the kind of notebook with a folder or it's the kind where you can add pages so there are inserts with in-universe shit#like kid's placemats from restaurants or old photographs#chemical spills and general stains and rips and tears and probably wet tear stains#just the grossest fucking thing#filled with rick rambling about nonsense intercut with random pages from when summer and morty used the notebook#maybe a page or two from when beth accidentally took it to work with her#or when jerry took it because he wanted to feel included
