(I'm behind and now doing these out of order slightly buy oh well lol)

I love Rise and I most likely have it to thank for the domino affect of getting me actually into the TMNT fandom, but it was 2003 that I watched when I was little and what made me interested in the turtles to begin with. I also just really love the story lines and the dynamics between the characters and the serious (but also occasionally silly) tones that it has. It's my beloved series <3

Day 28: favourite turtle intro/song

You guessed it, for me it's 2003 theme just because it has the nostalgia feel to it and it has a variety which I like. That's why you get two pics but different lyrics on them from that song from different seasons. You can see how I gave up on this and rushed the coloring part, as I should be in bed by now but wanted to finish this before day ends and there might be mistakes.

Sorry for Turtle posting again I know I post Turtles at the most random times but like, I very often think about in 03 when Leo was getting angry at Splinter for not teaching what he wanted to learn and when he was yelling at Splinter while training Raph states “I don’t like this, he’s reminding me too much of myself” and I just think that moment is super interesting for what it implies

Lineups and outfit ideas for my TMNT x USAGI mega-crossover! Pt 1!

Heyo! so this was done a while ago (summer and a bit of autumn) but I wasn't in the mood to post it yet as I was very busy this past year.

Here we have: Gen, Chizu, Kitsune and Usagi in undercover outfit ideas for when they find themselves in New York city in 2023, where they're found out by a few strange older turtles... and some of the 2003 cast from 2023! Don't worry, I have another sheet for Mikey and Donnie, they are not absent from this crossover :)

Based on this post where I was talking about a Rise/03 crossover and how the cartoon rules for each show are different. And as per the movie, the Rise turtles can swear.

Day 26: favourite series

Surprise...? For me it's the 2003 series, I keep this series dear in my heart. (As you may have seen this whole May, this series has dominated this challenge a lot). I like all the series (what I have seen) but this one is the number one.

I’ve read and collected mostly all of the Mirage TMNT comics. And I can assure you that I liked how simple the TurtleVerse was before Viacom expanded it, and kept revising the 1987 cartoon Easter Eggs that causes my Mean Side to roll my eyes to. Hell, 4Kids was the only one to change the theme song to something unique, while Viacom won’t let go of Gross Chuck Lorre’s baby of a lyrical creation.

What’s your opinion on 03 raph?

He's a little rough around the edges, is quite the impulsive hothead, and, though I haven't read the Mirage comics to completion just yet, he's the animated incarnation that's closest in personality to the Mirage version (with some extra grump and sarcasm sprinkled in). He also has moments where he'll get lost in his anger, and unlike '12 Raph, he acknowledges his anger issues from day one. And, again unlike '12 Raph, his own anger is something he fears will grow out of control and harm those he cares for.

Partly due to that fear though, he's such a softie and has a sensitive side that beautifully contrasts the aggression. He goes out of his way quite a lot to help people despite possibly being the most antisocial of his brothers, and is super protective of his family, almost as much as Leo at times. I'm pretty sure he's almost always the closest to a mental breakdown everytime something happens lol. Other than being a good samaritan and son, he's really nice and compliments others quite a bit despite his usual behavior suggesting otherwise. He'll complain about kids or helping April with the shop all while going against his own words.

Idk, he's a lovable dork with a weirdly strong accent who would definitely own a cat if Mikey wasn't destined to adopt one in almost every universe.
