Surrendering saved the people who saved her, but thrust her right back into the hell she had actually begun to believe she escaped. If she goes back, there will be no other chance for escape. They will fortify the gaps in their system that allowed her to in the first place and who knows what they will think up in order to control her.

“Don’t fight them,” Enya says, swallowing her fear and stepping up to face the group of armed men before her, though she glances back when she speaks. Her words are not for them. “It’s okay. I can handle this. Just go.”

Fight or surrender? Can she afford to let this play out without choosing right away, to take the time figure some sort of strategy that will ensure their safety and her freedom?
