Okay, I thought I'd share my thoughts on the AFO and Yoichi height thing.

My first thought: Oh, AFO must've be normal-sized at first, he just grew super tall because he lived for 200 years.

After I realized: Huh, I wonder if AFO just started stealing height related quirks after he realized Yoichi was starting to grow taller than he was.

I really don't understand why some people are deeply upset and acting like it's disrespectful (to Marisha, to fans, etc.) that Keyleth, who is an NPC in this campaign, is being played by Matt.

A Sending reply isn't a letter that can be prepped in advance to be read by the original player. (And anyway, if a player reads a letter written by Matt, it's still Matt making decisions of what that character writes.) Marisha doesn't really now what Keyleth is up to in this specific narrative or what her orders to Orym are or what Keyleth might want done about the information relayed to her.

Also, this is the basic premise of a consecutive campaign in the same world where you aren't playing the same character. Keyleth, like all characters of Vox Machina (and frankly the Nein), are NPCs in the world when it comes to Campaign 3—ergo, Matt plays them.

Roy shook his head. His chest ached, heart pounding dizzily. “I was a shit captain,” he heard himself say at a great distance.

“You weren’t.” Ted sat down next to him on the sofa, hands on his knees, expression painfully earnest. “Maybe needed a little reminding there, in the beginning, but heck, ain’t that the reason there’s a reward for ‘most improved?’”

“Yeah, for fucking primary schoolers,” Roy said. He tried to picture it, standing trapped at the side of the pitch with his fucked knee while the lads played on without him. “Ted, I can’t. Not— not now. Not yet.”

“That’s alright,” Ted said gently. “Hey, you ever play FIFA? I’ve gotta practice up before I go see Henry; he’s been kicking my butt.”
