NOTE: THE ABOVE IMAGE IS AN EDIT BY ME, NOT A SCREENSHOT OF THE SCENE
Crisis on Infinite Mirths - PPG Creator, Craig McCracken asked development team if the original Bubbles could beat up the "New One"
At the recent San Diego Comic Con showing of the new Jellystone special, one of the writers spoke to fans. Saying that they often communicated with the original creators of the series they used for the crossover, including Powerpuff Girl Creator, Craig McCracken.
On stage he said that in a note given to them by Craig, "Can you please have the original Bubbles beating up the new Bubbles somewhere?" To which they cheerfully agreed. In a chaotic fight scene, in the background they hid a part where 1998 Bubbles whacks 2016 Bubbles on the head.
Since the CN Latin America commercial, this is the 2nd time the 2016 series has been depicted in a negative light by official CN content. This time specifically requested by the series creator himself. It's understandable, a large part of why 2016 was the way it was, was because Cartoon Network didn't want to wait for Craig's contract with Disney over Wander Over Yonder to end. Going ahead without him. Craig didn't make 2016, and it's reasonable to believe that he may harbor some sour feelings for how CN handled his brainchild.
Unfortunately no clip of the scene is available online at the moment, as the only clips we have right now come from the Comic Con showing. We will likely have to wait until Jellystone: Crisis on Infinite Mirths releases on tv and streaming services to get a clip of the scene.
Reminder, I am not a news source, but did my best to report on this and source what I could
No effects version of the image

An Eyewitness
As OL is dragging to an end, people start sharing their memories of things they have witnessed. This is what our friend @accardi1921 directly experienced at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con and she is now publicly sharing her memories with us for the first time ever, because she feels comfortable to do it.
She did it just before I woke up, in the comments' thread of a Sun Tzu post, out of all places (https://www.tumblr.com/sgiandubh/747346110512775168/todays-apocryphal-sun-tzu-quote?source=share) and I have kindly asked her for permission to collate her comments in here, as I did for @rosfrank's experience in Kansas City, last summer. I think these tidbits should not be lost. Both our friends being generous enough, here goes and I truly thank @accardi1921 for the trust to do so. Her recollection was prompted by @bat-cat-reader's reblog of the moment S was supposedly met by Just Jared at the airport, upon arrival:
That being the pic prompting it all:
[Later edit]: if anything, that arrival moment, all by himself, looked not only staged AF, but out of this world weird, in Flukenzie Floozy's absence and all.
However, I think this pic is from 2017, as documented by JJ...
... and TMZ (https://www.tmz.com/2017/07/21/sam-heughan-outlander-comic-con-sex/):
The clip is something to behold, indeed:
With a very giddy S waiting to hit on Wonderwoman. LOL. LOL. How nice for the beard, btw.

😴“it is high time to awake out of sleep” (Romans 13:11)😴
I sometimes stumble across hidden gems from the past by chance. That’s how I found this article from August 2016.
[I've put a link to the full article below, but first I'd love to share my thoughts on it with you]
*** *** ***
I think this is a great example of the misinformation that's been spread by PR about Cait and Sam over the years.
But what I find most interesting is what isn't there.
And then there’s also my absolute favourite thing to do: photo analysis.
So let’s get started with the photo analysis.
The article was published in August 2016, but the photos of Caitríona in the loose yellow dress were taken during a photo shoot for Comic-Con International 2014 at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego on 27 July 2014.
So, these are photos from two years ago in relation to the publication date of the article.
Why, oh why?
I'm just wondering, were there no other pictures of Caitriona available at the time? I’m sure there were plenty!
Or was it more about the voluminous yellow dress she wore back in July 2014?
Do you remember her frilly dress at The Paley Center on 6 June 2016? Oh, what a challenge for the PR department!
Wouldn't it be better to say that Caitriona doesn't like fitted clothes? And that she always wore loose dresses, not just in 2016?
As someone who likes to think there's more to the story, I'm in favour of the dress issue. 😉😉😉

Take a look at the photo below.
The article in the in-flight magazine of Irish Aer Lingus airlines is said to be about the Outlander series, and the only photo from the set is of Claire and Frank.
Is this the hottest 'romance' in the series?
Do they really think their readers are that dumb?
What kind of manipulation is this? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
*** *** ***
And finally, a genuine diamond.
Remember Caitríona, who in 2020 had been with her husband for six years?
But in 2016, she was lonely with no one.
The article debunks rumours about her alleged relationship with Mr Sam Heughan (ha ha), and there's no sign of Mr McWalkingDead on the horizon.
It's just sadness and grief.
Poor Cait, stuck alone in solitude in 2016.
What a disgrace!
*** *** ***
Just let me get to the end of this with a quick little palate cleanser.
It should be noted that, among the photos from Comic-Con International 2014 at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego available on GettyImages, there is not a single photo of Caitríona and Sam together (!!!).
However, this Comic Con was the time when they appeared to be in this kind of relationship:
In a word, my dear friends, believe what you want!
