UPDATE: ZDF Documentary about Sussexes Will Premiere in December 2024 Back in July, we heard that the new German documentary from ZDF, led by veteran journalist, Ulrike Grunewald, was on hold. This documentary would be exploring the Sussex’s past and would also examine what Grunewald calls the “Sussex System.” The piece sounds quite promising.The documentary is still in progress and research is continuing. Now, we’ve learned that the documentary will air at the end of the year in December.On Grunewald’s instagram, someone asked if the documentary will still be released eventually. Grunewald responded confidently, “It will!
