Il bello è che la vita mi ha sempre dato quello che ho voluto, solo le ultime due volte, solo da poco tempo, solo per ostentare il fatto che forse le cose belle non le so vivere. Brutto momento. Sono di nuovo seduta qui, sola, come all'inizio. Tu ridi da lontano, risate rumorose che portano dentro una grande tristezza, di cui non vuoi fare peso a nessuno. Forse sono io che non ho voluto vedere, forse per me la tristezza è normale, un sentimento da ignorare, a cui non dare tanto peso. Forse è per questo che ti sono sembrata insensibile. Non sono stata felice per tanto tempo nella mia vita ed ora, non voglio rinunciare al benessere che provo nell'ultimo tempo. Non per te. Non cosciemente. Forse non mi ascolto da tanto tempo, forse è meglio così.ho tolto la collana e l'anello che mi ha regalato. Li ho tolti ieri. Era troppo il peso che mi facevano sentire, li ho messi nel cassetto del bagno, lontano dalla mia mente, ma forse non abbastanza.

Avrei voluto essere una persona diversa, ecco cosa ti ho risposto l'altro giorno, perché alla fine, la ragione delle mie delusioni, non sono nient'altro che io. Avrei voluto essere felice. Avrei voluto renderti felice.

At the seaside…in glorious black and white:)

I'm thinking about rendering more of my images in black and white. As part of the process of testing this out, I've gone back to some images shot last year on a short break down on the coast, and re-worked them in monochrome. When I shoot, I don't intentionally do so with a view to conversion to black and white - that applied to all of these images. Given that, I'm quite pleased with the outcome…

I've finished listening to Deephaven! It was on my radar for a while, and the setting and characters are super cool. I love middle-grade horror/mystery and this one didn't let me down.

I also finished listening to Boyfriend Material for the second time 🤪 I don't know why but this book brings me such comfort with all the messy characters!

I watched today new Dir En Grey live footage from Shibuya 27.06.24. It's crazy when I think that I was that day in Japan only a few kilometers far from them. I even wanted to buy a ticket for this show, but it was already sold out. At least we have this amazing live footage ❤️
